Yep, Underground thread. Ask any questions you want. Normally, I'd say you can discuss anything with me over AIM, but the problem is my AIM has somehow gone AWOL for a bit (yeah, I'll download it later). So anything you want to ask, even if it's a small question, please post it here. I don't think I'll have time to reply to PMs either, and it'd good to have it here so others can see it.

Ah yes, there's one thing I'd like to mention: [b]the Chapter System[/b].



Those who were in the Brotherhood of the Wolf will know what I'm talking about. Instead of having a fixed chapter system where you have to do everything that's in the chapter, things will run by 'events'. Let's say the characters meet... that'd be the start of a new chapter and I'll just give the chapter random names (and change the chapter name accordingly as we go by). It also means that later on, if you want and you run it by me, you guys can also start new chapters.

It's a little pointless having a chapter system if you don't keep to it, isn't it? Not really, I just think it keeps things on track (somewhat) and it should give the RPG a more 'story-like' feel.

Small update. Since it's close to the beginning of the RPG I'd just like to say that your character should meet someone else in the RPG. Anyway you want. Perhaps you can arrange to meet up with some other characters or bump into them, or you can just jump in at any point. Obviously, you'll have to do this carefully so you don't screw it up and make things confusing but that's the solid rule for this chapter; anything goes. Be careful if you're jumping into a situation, but any situation involving any characters is like an open swimming pool; you can jump in at any moment!

You can have your character getting clues about others with this power (like mine), you could get weird thoughts or images to do with any aspects of the RPG (other people with powers, the zodiacs .ect)... or you can just run into someone. Freedom is the first chapter, kids!

And yeah, I'd like your opinion. I don't want to make this thread into a poll, but please post here about this:

I won't put a villian in if I don't get an opinion from you guys on it. For the most part we'll have loads of chances to use our powers... earthquakes, storms, criminals, enemies of our own or even against other characters in small fights. The villian probably won't have powers but I'll make him a pretty ****** up guy to make it interesting. And, of course, he'll have to be somewhat stronger than the average human to be interesting. But, you see, I'm not sure, so I need an opinion ^_~

As far as the villian goes: I'd say go for it. While there will be complications of our own by simply using the power, it definately adds to it by giving the 'evil' a face... Hell, you could make it more than one person, like a coven or mafia.(with a head honcho of course) *throwing around ideas :animeswea * And I know this sounds kind of cliche, but you never specified that our characters were the only 'chosen ones' did you? Because if not, why can't we have a "Dark Zodiac," So to speak; a collective of equally dominant bad guys who have embraced their dark nature instead of resisting like our characters do, which would naturally make them stronger. And you could just go from there. Maybe the baddies don't want anyone else in existance who can threaten their power so they try to take them out... :animesigh

The next sign-up, is the answer. Well, the next sign-up I'm happy with. Anyone who wants to join for the last spot better jump in now; the first one I see that meets the standards, or I really, really like and I can trust the RPGer... they're in.

I think having a set of 'darke zodiacr' villians would be cool. Though that'd mean 13 of them, and I'm not too sure about the numbers. No, I don't mean 13's unlucky, I mean that it'll be a lot of villians to keep track of.

Unless... they appear one after the other, like we beat one and another jumps in to take their place, each one being stronger and stronger. Maybe that would work. I'll have to consider it, it's a good idea, thanks Darren. It's up for discussion if anyone else wants to add to it.[/SIZE]

Hey that idea about dark zodiacs is pretty awesome but i have another idea to add to that, Instead of fighting one at a time everyone now and then make it like two or three at a time that way it wont be too long. We can also split the teams to fight a seperate villain in two different areas.

We can probably make one of the main characters go on the dark side for a bit until he gets beaten. The only question would be who would play the villain. :animesigh [/FONT] [/SIZE] [/COLOR]

That aside, it's a good idea like I've already said. I guess we should see what everyone else thinks of the idea. Using already existing characters as bad guys would obviously be easier, wouldn't need to worry about any extra characters. The only problem with this is that choosing characters (I'd say only two or three) might be unfair, or other players might've wanted to be evil. I don't know yet anyway. I'll keep this in mind and we'll see how things go.

Also, Kredion deleted the first post, so that means my character is still sleeping on someone's doorstep. Hehe. Go get 'im folks![/SIZE]

I originally thought that dani was gonna be on the bad side. they way i read his historty it seemed like he was heading down that way. I need to read up on everyone elses bio to see whats up but we can start fighting amonst ourselves for maybe a bit. Then once we knock some sense into the enemies some new ultimate mofo comes out with some crazy as powers. Thats when the guys we fought against decided to team up for now and take on this new threat. ya mean.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

I'll post tonight, however I must stress everyone to be careful now with the next posts. Things can get confusing (if you want put in an OOC who you've just met or... somethin'). I won't be here on the weekend, from Friday to Monday I think, but when I get back I'll make a new post.

On my third post, those who haven't met any other characters will have a huge chance to. New post = new chapter. I'll have each and every one of your characters learn that there are others like you, in the very town. Searching for the others in the next chapter is up to you guys... if we don't find you first >=)

I guess changing sides won't happen until the third chapter or so until all the characters are comfortable... but another letter. If the characters that change sides recieve a letter, convincing them or something, then that means there's a much darker force at work. Someone's very interested in the powers are characters have and hired one of our own to kill you all... that's right... [strike]you're all going to die, kids.[/strike]

Aaaannyway, you don't have to break up the fight if you don't want to. Since there's an opening, maybe the next person to post could have Dani use one of his powers (like make some dark evil thing out of the shadows that scares everyone away) then use your powers and have Dani/your own character run off. That should leave you a good chance to post without breaking up the fight, Eclipse. And any other characters a good chance to become aware that they're not alone.[/SIZE]

Just spouting out random ideas here but if there was some sort of more powerful Evil force behind the letters, I dont think they should be some ancient evil society of monks. Or maybe they should but modern I don?t know. Millionaires are always interested in this sort of thing. lol. I?ll stop rambling now.

Having a darker driving force adds a more of a twist, especially depending on what that twist is.[/color][/size]

Okay, First: I would just like to apologize for the lack of posting. I was going to stay up late and finish the entries for both of my RPs but once I saw Kredion's most recent post, I got a little thrown off. Which brings me to number...

2: The timeline seems to be a little thrown off with Kredion's last post. See I was going to politely wait until the next day, when Kredion had an interview with someone from the cafe for a possible job and have my character walk into the cafe... But it seems that he did one of two things:

I)He either took the story line back to where Dani and Eden had entered the Cafe in the morning for breakfast and simply added breakfast.

or II) he took the story line forward to night, because he left a post talking about how his brother wanted to take him out to meet some friends...

Either way, it kinda messes up my whole entry. If I'm missing something in his posts, could you all help me out??? Thanks again.

P.S. If we can get this all cleared up soon, I'll be adding my character to the mix tomorrow! YAY!

Welp, soz Kredion, but we're going to have to ignore your post as it confused me as well. Anyone can still post and I'll be posting tonight. My next post will most definitely be a new chapter as most characters will meet (or I'll post tomorrow for a new chapter, depends).

Basically, I plan to kick things off. Now I'll go about this carefully, obviously, and I have an hour or so to think about it. What I want is for every character to notice each other, or notice a group of people in around the cafe with a mystery about them, and we'll find a way for some characters to keep together (hopefully most, maybe I should have the police arrest us all for disturbing the peace, lol).

Like I said. I gots an hour or so before my TV programme finishes. I'll think on it. Post before me if you like, I don't mind. But remember, Kredion post doesn't count until we sort it out.[/SIZE]
