Request [RPG/Event] Request for a logo or banner for my Otaku Idol 2 Event

Okay, since the applicants of the [url=http://www.otakuboards.com/showthread.php?t=55635][B]Otaku Idol 2[/B][/url] (click for a link) are allowed to have other people help them in graphics, I'm making a request for the event I'm planning because I have no photoshoppic skills.

What I basically need is [B]a logo and/or a banner[/B] with a labyrinth or a maze on the background and the text [B]Labyrinth[/B] slapped on it.

[INDENT][U]The Picture[/U]
After some googling, I found two candidates that I like for the background picture, [I]however[/I] if you think you have a better picture, I'm open to suggestions.

It can be a stylished maze, like this:

I don't have any specific limitations for the size of it. If you make a banner it's the normal 500x100 pixels (or smaller), but a logo can be larger.

I simply want the text [B]Labyrinth[/B] written onto the background picture, preferably typed in an Ancient Greek or Latin font, but again, I'm open for your ideas as well.[/INDENT]

The competition is due to 10th of November, so I'd like to get your suggestions [B]as soon as possible[/B].

As a [B]reward[/B], [I]if[/I] I get chosen to host this event, I'm giving the creator of the best banner/logo an automatic chance to participate in Labyrinth (you don't naturally [I]have[/I] to take the reward, but it'll be a blast, I ensure you!).

So please help a potential Event-Master-to-be for the win!

I sort of have a thing for labyrinths as it were, in ancient history and we learnt about the Minoans and the legend of the Minotaur and the labyrinth, but enough of my strange ramblings.

There?s a greenish and a reddish version, as I changed the colours to make it look more... whatever. I?ve got avatars as well, but anywho. And sorry the banners aren't the full size, I tried to make them eye catching. But besides that Enjoy ^ ^[/SIZE]

I really don't know how these are going to look, my monitor is really dark and that messes up colours in photoshop and whatnot. ^ ^;;

I really like them both! The use of Greek letters in the text is great and imaginative, and they both have this mysterious aura in them, just what I was looking for actually.

The red one gives me a bit of a DaVinci Code -vibe, while the green one is more classy, and perhaps more suitable for my suggestion of an Event.

[/quote]Well I wouldn't say that the picture is better, but it is different and thus I'm using it to give you more options. Anyway...

Here is a banner and a logo. If you like them I kept a copy in psd format so I can make changes if you want me to.

Heh, so you've all used the same font. How... copycattish. ;P

Sorry, indifference, but I found that picture from my google search too and it struck me as too artificial. I just don't think the CG-picture fits to my event.

And White, your banners are basically identical with Eclipse's except for the colors, so you didn't bring anything new to the table.

I still like Eclipse's green banner the best, so that's what I'm going to use. That means that Eclipse, if you want it, you've got a guaranteed spot in my event - if I get to make it, that is. Thanks again!

[COLOR=DimGray][FONT=Tahoma]How is it "basically identical"? The only thing the same is the picture (which YOU provided) and the font/text placing (Which is obviously going to be in the middle anyway).

So the picture and the text and the placing are the same, so that leaves only the color to differ from Eclipse's. And as I said, I liked Eclipse's colors better, so there.
