[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]"Where am I?" aske Tsudo to himself having a dream. "What is this place?"

He was standing in front of a huge Tower that seemed to reach to the sky and beyond. He stepped forward and the ground crumbled around him but he was still on a small piece of rock. He started to looked around and a bright flash blinded him. When he opened his eyes he saw that he was in a run down area with several platforms that had other people on them laying down. A red haired woman in a Nurse's outfit caught him awake.

"You awake! You have been out for days." said the woman.

Tsudo was confuse and he couldn't remember anything, "Where am I? Who am I? Why can't I remember anything?"

The woman's smile dissappeared, "You were found on the surface... Your memories were erased."

Tsudo was still confused and was surprisingly calm about it.

"Do you remember your name?" she asked.

"I do remember a phrase... Tsudomashi... I guess I go by that..."

"Ok, Tsudo sit here while I get Meister."

Tsudo nodded and waited.[/COLOR]

[SIZE=3][COLOR=Red][FONT=Papyrus]'Space. I remember floating and then energy suddenly leaving my body. And .. exhaustion, bliss to be away, the surface, away from whatever was chasing me... But the being wouldn't be content with that he came up with a cloth over his mouth. And he pinched me on my shoulder and then blackness........

"Sir! This one is still alive!! Her heart rate shot up!!" A fuzzy voice yelled far away, like an echo. "Still alive? Impossible ! her condition, She went strait into shock!but her wounds are far worse than all others, which are now dead, Hurry get her onto a bed!" Another voice yelled.

Hands.. they were everywhere, groping at my limbs. I mumbled some sort of protest but it was lost in their hurry. After the agonzing and awful smelling medicines I was left in peace. I touched the back of my neck, it hurt as I touched the sensitive spot near my vein... knocked out. ' She shook her head, A dream, something about dream.

She saw something on her torn glove. It was a ruby with a flame inside it. the other glove had the same insignia.
"I've been erased.." She said almost in a daze. " yes you have" a nurse with blond curls said," now a name for me please."

The girl looked at the glove." Ruby... Blaze. My name is Ruby Blaze." she said with more confidence. The nurse wrote it down and pointed to a pile of clothes and a towel. "Take a bath, 'cause you reek and then get dressed"

Ruby grimanced at the pain of moving, and moved faster when the nurse left in exasperation. "Cold hearted bitch." Ruby muttered as she strained to get the clothes.

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]Tsudo looked at the young lady that had just awoken. The red headed nurse walked over to the young lady.

"I am sorry if she is ... Uncivilized at times she was recently awoken as well." said the Nurse. "I am Mikan." she said with a smile. "She remembered a bit about some medical experiance. She is really helpful with me being the only other Nurse."

Tsudo moved some broken down wires that came from the cieling.

"It is nice to know I am not the only one confused about what is going on..." said Tsudo.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Red][FONT=Papyrus][SIZE=3] Ruby looked at the blond nurse," Must be tough, huh?" She asked the other red head. The nurse nodded in sympathy. The ther boy was looking at her too, then he grabbed the wires from the ceiling.

"Careful with those, you'll get a shocking experience" Ruby said to the boy. Then she picked up her new clothes and towel and asked the nurse," where is the bath, thsi dirt is not my best style." The nurse pointed toward the door, "It's only a bit of warm water, but we do have more of cold water." Ruby shrugged resigning to take a long cold shower.

Then she remembered the other boy," Hey, what's your name?" she asked still heading toward the bath. "Tsudo.." he said as if the name was still a bit foreign, which it probably was.

"I call myself, Ruby, If you want to know." she called over her back wanting to say to someone other than herself, to confirm it.[/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]"Nice to meet you..." said Tsudo. He had red goggles above his eyes and a long grey jump suit. He had been clothed when he was in the Cryo Pod.

"I don't know what my name means... But it has to mean something." he said.

Moments later a guy with green goggles, a brown coat, blue pants and a overing over his head came into the Med Center of the Underground City.

"Hello My name is Meister. I am the current leader of the Visions."

Tsudo aknowledged him.

"I can guess what is inside your heads... You can't remember much or nothing at all... Most that we find have the vision of The Ruins in there heads. A large tower."

Tsudo nodded, "Yeah... But there was a bright flash at the end... I could almost hear a voice..."[/COLOR]

[FONT=Papyrus][SIZE=3][COLOR=Red]Ruby sighed,"Ahhhh.. " the cold water felt refreshing. She tilted her head back so that it poured on her forehead. She kept her eyes open because when she closed them she saw visions of desolation.

And in the middle of this desolation, stood at tower standing as if in defiance against all the wreckage surrounding it. SHe shuddered and got out and put her new clothes on and went back to the main room to find the young man gone.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]"Oh your back!" said Mikan. "Tsudo and Meister went up to the Main Chamber near Mac's Shop. It is up the stairs and in the corridor across the Bar." she told Ruby.

Tsudo had been listening to Meister explain everything that went on in the underground.

"I am what they call an Esper. I can use Paranormal skills on the Surface. Espers are the only ones allowed on ther surface because of the countless monsters." explained Meister. "I belief that you and the rest of the ones we found have Esper material but we don't know for sure."

As Ruby was coming up another guy in a long yellow coat bumped shoulders and went into the Bar.

"You better watch it." said the man as he walked away.[/COLOR]

[FONT=Papyrus][COLOR=Red][SIZE=3]"You watch it moron." Ruby snarled back. The guy turned around and looked at her again. She had gotten a black jump suit similar to Tsudo's and her black goggles hung around her neck.
"What did you say?" the man said , silently deadly. "

"did i stutter? or are you just stupid?" Ruby retorted.

They were about to start a fight when, Meister stood in between them to stop them both," Stop this, now."

The other guy backed off and cast a loathing look at Ruby.Then went back to the other door. "Are you ok?" Tsudo asked, walking over to Ruby.

"What a nice first impression, don't you think so?" Ruby said.[/SIZE][/COLOR][/FONT]

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]Meister shooked his head, "He is named Sahama... He hates everyone." said Meister. "But, now that you are here maybe we can get you two an Arsenal that way you can go on the surface with at least a bit of protection." said Meister.

"Arsenal?" asked Tsudo simply.

"It is what we use to carret certain skills to the surface. We used to get random skill when we went to the surface. But since it has become more intense we had needed the use of Arsenals just to survive." said Meister. "If you will both come with me I will get you your own Arsenals."

Tsudo and Ruby followed him to a chamber that had a white clad man in a long armed chair. He seemed to be pulling out two glowing orange cyniders.

"I am... Uresil?... Yes! Here ... Skills..." he said handing both of them a cylinder.

"So this contains... powerful techneques? Interesting." said Tsudo.[/COLOR]

[FONT=Papyrus][SIZE=3]"Interesting.." Said Ruby twirling the cylinder on her finger, making it spin like crazy. Then she looked inside the orange cylinder, and gasped.

Inside was a flame dancing and waving. "How is this possible?" Asked Tsudo, looking at his. The man in white robes was paying no attention to him, he was focused intently on Ruby carelessly spinning the precious cylinder.

"Careful, you only get one of those." Meister said , taking the cylinder from Ruby's hand. "Awww...."Whined Ruby and followed Meister out.

"Now you two, stay out of trouble, there are many dark individuals like Sahama. You need to keep yourselves in check. Got it?" He said specifically looking at Ruby.

"What? [I]moi?[/I] " Ruby said, faking surprise and astonishment. Tsudo looked away, smirking. "Yes, you.[I]Especially[/I] you." Meister said.

Ruby shrugged. "How do we used this?" Tsudo asked looking at his with interest. [/SIZE][/FONT]

[color=darkred][size=2][font=book antiqua]Kampfer slowly tested the strength of the chains about his wrists as he was led down the hallway. His bulk made it a little harder for him to move down the hallway with the wires and pieces of debri hanging from the ceiling and cluttering the floor. Two guards escorted him, one held a weird cylinder that the man in white had called an Arsenal. Kampfer didn't care much for what they were talking about, he just wanted the chains off.

They led him into another room and waited as the man called Meister and two other people followed. The two others stopped at the sight of him as Meister just smiled. [b]"Ah your other companion. Tsudo and Ruby...meet Kampfer"[/b][/font][/size][/color]

[FONT=Courier New][COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]"Now that you all are here I should explain that there are many of the exact same Arsenal we usually smash it on the ground. The reason we don't want you to drop it down here is because down here that is just dust and energy... It'd be a waste of skills." said Meister. "When you think you are ready to go on to the surface come to the Vision's HQ chamber. Right across from Mac's Shop." Meister walked off. "They have potiential."

Tsudo nodded and walked out of the current chamber and was passed by another individual. He looked like he had a large cloth over his right eye and a long sleeveless brown coat and was soon followed by a robotic figure.

"I see we have some new Rookies." said the man. "I am Know and this is Guard." Gesturing to the robot.

Guard regarded Tsudo vaguely,"... ... Organic... Tsudomashi..."

"Hey how does he know my name?" asked Tsudo.

"He is a robot he has excellent hearing." said Know proudly. "He even knows how to use his own arsenal. Tsudo eh? Good luck when you go to the Surface... Be careful not to die. he he." he said again as he walked off.

"Hmm..." grunted Tsudo heading towards the Bar.[/COLOR][/FONT]

[FONT=Papyrus][SIZE=3][COLOR=Red]Ruby looked at Kampfer with interest. "What do you want?" He asked getting irritated.

Ruby said nothing just looked at his chains. "Nice jewelry, what no gold in stock?" He raised his fists up but was cut short bythe shackles. "Just kidding. When are they going to take those off, anyway?" Ruby asked, well aware this is what got her in trouble all the time.

He stayed silent. "Fine. I'm going to take a bath, again this place makes my skin crawl. Is the surface better that this?" Ruby asked walking towards the baths.

When she got no answer she kept going. Now where did taht guy go , I've got a score to settle." She said cracking her knuckles.

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]Tsudo was drinking in the Bar when Ruby came in looking for Sahama. Tsudo walked up to her.

"What's up? You look like you are looking for someone." said Tsudo not know what had occured earlier.

"A guy named Sahama bumped into me eariler and I am looking for some payback." she said.

Tsudo shook his head, "He isn't in here... But I don't think it would be wise to get into fights around here... We are really trusted yet, don't want them to think we are unrulely... but, maybe we should go to the surface now..." he suggested.[/COLOR]

[FONT=Book Antiqua][COLOR=Red]Ruby shrugged," iNever gave anyone reason to trust me in the first place." Her face turned cold, but hen she lightened up in forced happiness," But yeah I'm dying to get out here, the air is stuffy. And I think I might hurl."

Tsudo looked at her wierdly," Kidding, kidding." Ruby sighed," you people have no sense of humor.

"Shall we go?" Tsudo said, going towards the entrance. Ruby paused, unsure what to do.

Tsudo looked back,"before Sahama gets his ass kicked by you."

Ruby gave a sad smile but still sounded cheerful,"His loss." [/COLOR][/FONT]

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]"I have been told there are a lot of monsters on the surface... When we go up you can take out your anger on them..." said Tsudo.

After they met with Meister and headed to the Terminal that looked like part of an old Subway Station. In front of the gate was two men one in a white suit and one that looked like Meister but a bit shorter and his goggles were different.

"This is Chunky. He and I will be going with you on your first outing on the surface." said Meister.

Chunky smiled and said, "Glad to meet you Rookies."

Tsudo nodded.

"We will be going to what we call The Palace. It is a good ways away so we should get going." said Meister as the man in the white suit unlocked the gate.

They were walking until they cam upon the surface. It was desilant except for a few buildings. Also, there was a strange dust storm. Tsudo shielded his eyes and put on his goggles.

"This is the surface?" he asked.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Red][FONT=Book Antiqua]"Take a look around you." CHunky said,. Ruby looked at the sand. She squinted her eyes against the dust.

"be sure to cover your mouth well, " Meister said. Ruby pulled her jumpsuit up to her face." What happened to all this?" she asked coughing.

Tsudo followed ahead and Ruby stopped to look at the surroundings," how quickly things crumble..." she said looking at the wasteland.

Tsudo looked back at her ," something wrong?" Ruby shook her head.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[color=darkred][size=2][font=book antiqua]The sand swirled around Kampfer as the otehrs huddled over. His goggles and mask protected his face well. He readjusted his wrists in the chains as he took in the sight. Nothing but death and destruction was up here. His kind of place. [b]"What are we going to do now?"[/b]

[b]"Easy there big guy."[/b] The man known as Meister turned to him sheilding his face even though he had a mask on.

[b]"Weaklings"[/b]

Ruby turned and looked at him. [b]"So it finally speaks again"[/b]

[b]"Shutup before I break you in half"[/b] Suddenly a shock went through the cuffs into his body making him wince. He had grown accustomed to it but it still hurt.[/font][/size][/color]

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]Tsudo shook his head.

"Not now." he said.

Chunky and Meister told them to move out and they did follow them to a large structure with broken glass doors. They went inside and continued to the center of the complex. As they got there they saw two monsters. A small eyeball like one and a twisted form of a humanoid.

"THe little one is a Scoto... The big one is a Gyne." said Meister. "When you fight these you have to becareful because they as well as we can skills. Most have a preferance but some don't so dont be surprised when you get hit by a skill that isn't usually used by that type of monster."

Tsudo nodded seeming to understand.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Red][FONT=Book Antiqua]Ruby looked at the creatures, ' might actually put up a fight' she thought. Exitement tightened in her belly.

She shook herself out of it, distorting her view a bit. Meister looked at her," you're not gonna faint are you? This stuff might not be suitable for a lady like yourself."

Ruby looked at him hard,"[B]I'm okay, I can take this just watch![/B]" She looked at him fiercly, daring him to say something. He shrunk under her gaze and just continued to explain.

Ruby coudn't wait for the first thing to pick a fight with her. [/FONT][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]Meister looked at Ruby and shook his head. He was amazed at how oddly Tsudo and her got along.

"Ok, We are going to let you two go. But if you get into trouble and are getting overwhemed we will come and get you out." said Chunky.

Tsudo nodded and ran towards the edge of the balcony. He looked at the cylinder and broke it in his hand. He started to feel the effects instantainiously. He held out his hand and fired a yellow looking blast at the Scoto. It rose a shield and the monsters started to move.

"Ruby you take the big one... You seem to need a tough challange[/COLOR]..."

[FONT=Papyrus][COLOR=Red]"Thanks" Ruby Said as she lounged toward the creature. Simutaniously she broke the cylander on her head ignoring the pain as the exitement of the kill got to her.

"ouch" Meister said as he saw what Ruby did with the bottle. Ruby ignored this as she sped towards the Gyne. Her blood and body becoming warmer and warmer as she neared the creature. The gyne had limped away from where Tsudo was shooting at teh scoto.

"I'm gonna make you feel so good your synapses will short out." Ruby grinned evilly as she launched a kick at the Gyne. It wasn't enough force and it pushed her away easily and she crashed into the wall. Rubble and debris littlered her as she moaned,"Damn." Blood was trickling into her eyes and she brushed it away.

Then her blood boiled, literally. She felt consumed in her own body heat as her hand went up in flames. She smiled," Sweet." And she went for another kick, this time lighting in flames as she pulled a roundhouse kick aiming towards the creatures neck.

A sickening CRACK sounded out and echoed.

But the thing was still alive. Ruby grunted with effort as it whipped a sharp hand out. She jumped aside but it had still gotten her arm. Blood dripping, she kept at it, kicking and punching with fire and ice and whatever other power she found in her to use.

The Gyne wouldn't give up , though . She got an idea. She lit up both her hands and raised up both her hands over her head. "FIRE STORM!!!" she yelled with effort. Flames erupted around her raining down on the Gyne, burninig his flesh.

"Ha.." Ruby said weakly, as she staggered to the wall and sat down, to watch Tsudo fight. "I feel so good. This is way better than anger management at least..." [/COLOR][/FONT]

OCC- Oh just so you know it isn't really a palace imagine the center of a mall with a giant tree growing out the middle. There are still tables and things set up all over the place.

Tsudo had gotten in closer with the Scoto and instead of the flaming kicks Ruby was dishing out he had a etheral blade that was long and black and when he swung it it seemed to hum. The Scoto was surprisingly fast and dodged rather well.

"Stand still..." said Tsudo calmly.

The Scoto unleashed a attack simular to Tsudo's beam attack eariler. Tsudo was force back to the wall going through several table as he rocketed back. He just walked back and fire his beam again. But suddenly a table that wasn't damaged seemed to pick its self up and hurled towards the Scoto.

"Interesting...What else can I pick up?" he asked himself.

He picked up another table and a few chairs and threw them at the eye. It put up a shield but was unable to block the last chair. It fell but floated back up and started fire at him again.

Ruby had gotten tired just by looking at Tsudo fighting. "Uhh.. my body... The pain. I wish I had some food."She said. THen she went to sit at a chair that had to managed to collect a lot dust. "ick.."

She sat as she watched the Gyne die finally. Suddenly the chair she was sitting in lifted itself up and she was thrown across the room.

Strait at the eyeball.

"Ahh!! Damn it!!"She shouted as she leapt off the chair tumbling down on the floor. Landing in front of Tsudos feet, crumpled up. he looked at her," you look like you rolled around in dirt.Ha ha" he laughed, nervously.

"Watch it I'll get you for this, Tsudo." Ruby threatened as she Brushed herself off. Then she dodged a table heading towards the Scoto. "oops." Shrugged Tsudo looking away smiling.

"HaHa. Watch it." Ruby mocked as she dodged another chair trown by the Scoto at Tsudo. "Whoa! You could've warned me! I could die from the shock, are you with me or against me?!"

"Die? Promises, promises." Ruby smiled as she walked to another table and sat there. Tsudo laughed, and went back to his fight.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]Tsudo smirked as Ruby sat down but he regained his concetration on the Scoto. He ran toward the eye with a different etheral sword that when Tsudo swung it. It seemed to drag feathers behind it. He then cut the thing in half making it spew out a kind of oil looking substance.

"Hmm... Was that it?" asked Tsudo.

Sudden a crash could be heard at the other end as a non contorted humanoid walked towards them. It had one hole in its head that looked like a eye hole and a long brown coat like Meister's.

"Is this another Esper? Who is it?"

Meister's eyes widened a bit.

"Get out of there that is a Antro! Those are above your level right now!!!"

Tsudo looked at it as it walked toward them. He looked at Ruby.

"YOu think we can take it?" he asked still holding his blade.[/COLOR]
