Sandy
OoC: Gah, I'm missing all the drama! XP ~*~*~*~ After lunch, Cassandra dragged her twin brother to Instructor Algreis's office. "But we're missing our dance lesson!" Circes whined. "Come on, I know you were going to skip it anyway", Cassandra retorted. "You just want to go play Pretty Princess Dress Me Up with your airheaded girlfriends." "But Carrot...!" Circes voice trailed off, he knew very well that his sister wasn't pleased with the monicker she had received here at the Argo Arx Arcanum. Cassandra sniffed at his brother. Finally they arrived to the door on the Instructors' Wing that said "Instructor Locke Algreis - Summoning". Cassandra pushed the doorbell, and the metallic door slided open. The interior of the room was quite peculiar. The walls were covered with psychedelic patterns, colored green and purple and yellow. The large window on the opposite side of the room from the door was covered with velvet drapes. The shelves were filled with unique artifacts, and the room was lit by four enormous, pillar-like lava-lamps standing on each corner of the room. There was no proper desk either, but a low tea-table at the center of the room with large, shoft cushions around it. "Nauseating", thought Cassandra. "I think this is quite tasteful", Circes's thoughts disagreed. On one of those cushions sat Locke Algreis on a lotus stance. A bowl of steaming tea was on the table in front of him. His eyes opened as the twins walked into the strange room. "Ah, you came so soon", the instructor said with his melodic voice, obviously pleased. "Sit down, please!" Cassandra and Circes sat down on the pillows, opposite to the instructor. "Now then, Augurion Twins, as you're aware, you both seem to have an intriguing problem with your summoning skills. You both have much potential, and your summons are quite powerful, but you seem to lack the willpower to keep the spirits at bay. Do you agree with me?" Cassandra nodded. "Have you found a solution to it, instructor?" "I might have, but first you must tell me something..." The instructor leaned forward. "Do you two have a telepathic connection?" "How did you...?!" Circes gasped, making Cassandra give him a murderous glance. Their spiritual bond had been a well-kept secret, but now it was out in the open. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone", the instructor assured. "But... this connection between you might just be the key to controlling the summoned creatures." Locke Algreis took a long sip from his bowl of tea, and then looked at the twins with a serious expression. "Next time you try to summon, why don't you do it together?"
Blayze
The mirror exploded outwards, shining, reflective shards of metal flying across the room, embedding themselves in everything they could reach. The floor, the ceiling and the walls were now sprinkled liberally with shards of the broken mirror. Garrek breathed deeply, his shoulders heaving, and then walked over to the wall and picked the book that he had hurled at the mirror up from the floor. He sighed, and moved back towards his bed, a small affair that was literally covered in sheets of paper, books and notes written on tiny scraps of anything he could lay his hands on. His exams were coming up soon, and he was nowhere near ready. Instructor Harle and Instructor Locke were on his case already, urging him to focus more on the academic side of his studies and less on the practical. Recently, he had managed fine in his practical, managing to pass most of the class practical tests with decent grades. He had managed to calm down a little, and focus more on what he was supposed to be doing. His instructors had mentioned how far he had come along in his practical work, and that gave him a tiny warm glow that he had never felt before. He needed to see Instructor Shavers later as well, to try and book a session of sparring for his Combat class. He had so much to do and so little time to do it in. He knew he wasn't going to be able to enjoy his birthday, as it fell right before the examination period, when everybody was going to be hard at work. He grabbed the sides of his head, feeling a cluster headache coming on, and decided to get out of his dorm for a while, and go for an evening walk around the campus. As soon as he left the small cramped accomodation, he felt better instantly. His headache cleared, and the fresh, cool air soothed his body and his mind. He closed his eyes and took in a few deep breaths, until suddenly they were knocked out of him as a small figure ran straight into him, knocking him to the floor. He looked up, rage building, and saw that it was a youngish girl, maybe his age or slightly younger, who had barreled into him and dropped all her books. A few tears were running down her face as she feverishly picked up her books. "I'm so sorry," she whimpered, "It's been a really tough day." He took a deep breath, knowing that to get angry at this girl would be wrong, and he stood up, grabbing a few of her books from the floor and helping her to her feet. "It's no problem," he said, "I'm Garrek, by the way..." --- God, you leave it for a day and suddenly there's two pages worth of posts. Anyway, sorry about the lateness, but I hope this will do. Anyone can be the girl if they want.
Engel
Kristos sat down in the infirmary, stripping off his shirt-jacket and hopping up onto the medical table. One of the nurses on duty tsked her tounge as she watched him unwrap his own bandages. Small beads of blood rolled lazily down his stomach, coming to rest on the last bandage. He winced softly. "Master Kristos, you know you shouldn't be running around with that stomach wound. You do know that you crushed another three ribs due to your little stunt, don't you?" "That was really sort of evident when I spat up blood in the shower, Scrubbie." Kristos teased the nurse back. she was only two years older than him, but they'd know each other since he'd gone to the Academy. He stretched out and yawned, wincing again softly. "You're going to have to relax, Kristos, you can't be running around with nearly half your ribs crushed. You're staying in the infirmary tonigh-" "No, Im not, and you know that. Just let me see the head nurse and she can magic my ribs back together good enough for me to continue my classes normally. or even better." "Kristos....it's better to let them heal naturally, your body might become dependant of the magi.' Concern saturated her voice. Kristos sighed and looked at her sternly. "I've never been healed by magic, not once, you can allow it this one time. You owe it to me, I helped you with your exams, Carolyn." He said back softly and calmly, looking at her and taking off the last bandage to show the one rib that was partially sticking out of his stomach. They said the only way to get it back in was by magic, otherwise, when they put it back in, it would detatch and float around. "C'mon, Carolyn...the Final Exams are coming soon, I really can't afford to fall behind now." He whispered softly to her as she bit her lip and sighed. "Okay, Kris..." She sighed softly and sat down beside him. He looked at her and smiled before getting up and thanking her, moving into the main medical room. --- Kristos came out of the operating table to find Carolyn strewn out on the medical bed, shivering and spasming slightly. he looked at her eyes, turning glassy. He went frantic and called out for the head nurse as he tried to stitch the flesh back together. When he was called in minutes later, his fingers were gripped shut and tears streamed down his eyes. The person that cared for him in this school had been hurt, badly. By air magic. Her back had been literally snapped in half. She'd recover in time. She'd never be able to nurse again, however. Kristos stroked her hair, fixing the part, before leaving the room. It was time for revenge, and he had a place to look. OOC: Ooh, drama. <3. Kitty
Gardens - Dusk/Early Evening "I'm Garrek, by the way..." the boy added. Monique paused to look at him before pulling her hair behind her ear and continuing to pick up her dropped books. Her cheeks were tear stained, and she didn't even bother hiding it anymore. During her Advanced Summoning III class, she had talked with Cissy and ended up crying and being excused early to calm herself down. Now, still after all her classes were over, she found herself incredibly sad, the original reason lost beyond all chance of being remembered. "I'm Monique," she replied, sniffing as she spoke. "You okay?" Garrek asked, handing her the last book she had dropped. She chuckled a bit, but shook her head. "I don't know why, but... it's like... I'm mad at Syrus, but not mad at him at the same time. I want to be, but I can't be, and it's been giving me headaches all afternoon" she sighed. Looking up, she realized that Garrek either didn't understand what or know who she was talking about, and instead closed her eyes as she placed a hand on her forehead. "Nevermind. I'll be okay. Thanks for picking up my books, and sorry for running into you. I'll see you around, Garrek." She brushed past him before he could say anything but a short 'Bye', and was soon out of his sight. She headed for the library to do her homework, and find some seclusion. But as she turned a corner, she saw Syrus walking towards her. She wanted to turn and walk away, but she hesitated and he saw her. "Mo! There you are!" he smiled, jogging towards her. She made sure he couldn't see her face very well as he approached, dropping her long bangs into her face and looking towards her feet. "You disappeared this afternoon." "Yeah, sorry about that." When he reached her, she refused to meet his eyes and walked by him and into the library. He was confused, but followed anyway. "What's up?" he whispered. "Heard about your fight," she replied quietly. "Oh really? What version did you hear?" "About ten different ones. Did you really beat up a gang of thugs single-handedly?" she asked him. "I only knocked out one guy. Kristos and Strom and I all beat them up," he explained, a hint of spite in his voice when he said Strom's name. "Well congrats." "You seem upset. Something wrong?" he asked, tilting his head at her. She shook her head, faking interest in the books on a shelf she had walked in front of. But was persistant, and asked her a couple more times before she finally spoke. "You just met her!" she replied rather loudly, attracting the attention of some of the other students nearby and one of the librarians towards the entrance. Syrus was taken aback by what she said, and was silent for a few minutes. Monique had walked over to a table, sat down, and opened one of her notebooks before he spoke again. "Who do you mean, Aizen?" he asked as he sat down in the chair next to her. She glared at him for a moment before returning her gaze downward. "I'll take that as a 'yes', I guess... But what do you mean?" "I just--... I don't know. You know what? Nevermind. It's not a problem. I'm just over reacting is all," she began rambling, smiling and waving her hand passively. Syrus frowned, opening his mouth to speak before being beaten to it by Monique. "Really! I'm fine. Everything's fine. I'm just tired, I guess. Let's get out of here," she continued, still speaking rather fast. She picked up her things quickly, grabbed his hand, and pulled him out of the library behind her. "W-Where are we going?" he asked, figuring it better to not remain on the subject of why she was upset for now. "To the best place on campus," she replied with a grin. "Pluma pes!" After giggling a bit and running towards the wall of the corridor, Monique kicked off and was airborne, Syrus hanging on tight to her hand. His eyes were wide with anxiousness, and Monique laughed some more. "Still don't like flying?" "Flying is fine. It's hanging from just your hand that freaks me out," he retorted, kicking his legs in an attempt to run on the air like she was. "Oh, calm down. Here," she rolled her eyes playfully before grabbing his other hand and hoisting him up to her level. "Alius quoque," she whispered in his ear. Momentarily, he was walking on air beside her. He stopped, keeping his grip on her hands firm, stopping her as well. "How'd you do that?" "It's the second part of the spell. Instructor Garle taught it to me today!" she smiled. "Now c'mon! I'm letting go now, but keep up with me, okay?" She let go of his hands and 'ran' ahead of him, making sure he could see up her skirt if he wanted to. Syrus struggled a bit at first, not nearly as used to walking on the air as Monique was, but eventually got good enough that she didn't have to run back to help him every couple steps. They climbed through the air for another five minutes before they reached the spot she wanted to show him. It was on top of the eastern tower of the academy, and it was obvious that she had personalized it. There was a fuzzy black carpet she had a friend make in her spare time, a few bean bag chairs, which she admitted to sneaking from one of the Professor's quarters, a small table, some hats and scarves of hers, and couple notebooks she dedicated to doodling in. She pushed Syrus into one of the chairs, which he sank into quickly, dropped her books on the table and sat down next to him. "Is this where you go when no one can find you?" he asked, chuckling a bit. "Not necessarily. But this is where I go when I don't want to be found," she answered. They sat in silence for a bit before she shifted in her seat so she could drape her legs across him. Twirling some of her hair around her finger, she sighed. "I didn't mean it." "Hmm?" "Back in the library. It's been bothering me a lot today, but I didn't really mean it. Honest. Don't dwell on it, okay?" she lied. "Please?" He was silent for a long time, and she was starting to worry about what was taking so long.
ooc :: No idea what that was. It's just BLAH. Left it for you to finish, BK. Feel free to take it anywhere from here.
Tekkaman
As Strom walked to his dormitory, W49 (Students were divided to their specific dormitories based on their major in Magic, thus the W for 'water'), located near the end of the dormitory hallway, Strom came acoss two students who seemed to be fighting. He quickly hid behind a massive white pillar (The majority of th Academy is painted in the same color) that easily hid his frame from the intense sparring. Strom, then, carefully peeked around the barrier blocking his view. Two boys, no younger than Strom, were fighting in the great hallway; apparantly, the two were lost in battle, their bodies taken where ever there was the room to accomadate their bodies and blades. Sparks flew while their blades collided with one another, their aerial movements and fighting techniques becoming so fast that even Strom couldn't track them. "Wow," Strom thought, trying not to focus on the two of the students lightning fast techniques; letting his peripheral vision try to catch some of the action. "They're fas' as hell; look at 'em." Strom knew that if he would rather go to his room, walking past the two fighters, he would miss this golden oppurtunity to make mental notes to use against Syrus tomorrow (Strom smiled at the thought, he couldn't help it.). Instead, he just let them fight it out. The fighting, however, stopped as soon as he thought to himself. No blades crashing against each other, no bodies cutting through the air. No noise came from the hallways whatsoever; it was as though someone had taken the sound away. Strom scrunched up his face, while still peering outwards, wondering where they could've gone. Suddenly, a teacher walked through the halls to make sure no juvenile delinquents were causing a ruckus. Strom's was assured, once the teacher walked the hallway and went into another room, that no one was in his line of sight anymore. He exhaled quite loudly, wishing that he could of seen more sparring. "Well," Strom said, shrugging, "Those two were fas'. Too fas' for me." He chuckled a bit to himself, looking at the beautifully made ceilings of the Academy: White, with beautifully crafted gold trim that stretched in random directions all over the top interior of the school. "Wish I could've met 'em." Strom said finally, still behind the white stone pillar. "How about meeting us now." Strom nearly pissed himself as he heard the voice, followed by a set of chuckling as he jumped five feet in the air. Strom turned around slowly, noticing a stainless-steel rapier and a set of light blue and platinum-colored chakrams. Strom finally looked eye level to notice the faces as he still thought about their weapons. One boy had very dark blue hair (Strom debated dark blue and black for a couple of seconds.) and brandished very thin glasses that kept slipping below the top of his nose; he was quite skinny (155lbs., tops), and had very thin lips as they were made thinner to look at the boy that they found spying on them. "Whaddya think we should do with him?" The dark-haired boy said, his eyes not breaking away from Strom. Though Strom never thought about the fact that he and these two students looking upon him might just be in the same grade, Strom felt ridiculously like a child being scolded by a teacher. His insides squirmed from the thought as he looked at the boy that the dark-haired one was talking to. His jaw, unexpectedly, dropped as he looked at the other young man. "Dunno," The man Strom was looking at said. He walked towards Strom as an equal (All three being in the same grade, unbeknownst to Strom, they were equals), though, Strom felt even more like a child, like looking up to an older brother. This young man had platinum white hair that was damp with sweat and soft, handsome features. He didn't look like he talked much but that didn't stop him from talking to his sparring partner. "But i'm sure he wont say anything," He then turned to Strom, "Will you?" The question sounded more like a rhetorical ultimatum than a question. Nevertheless, Strom answered. "S-Sure thing." "Great," The platinum-haired boy said, looking at the dark blue-haired boy, "He's good, so can we go now, Kyo? I'm kinda hungry." Kyo laughed at his sparring partner while looking over Strom once more. "Sure. Ramen Noodles in my dorm, then?" He said, looking at the platinum-haired boy's face. "Chicken flavor?" "You know it. Room ' I15 ' only holds the best foods in this academy." They both walked off without saying another word to Strom. Strom looked dumbstruck still as he looked at the platinum-haired boy walking with Kyo. "W-was that... Aaron Covais?"
Doublehex
Wednesday, The 33rd of Estembre; 7:04 PM Alex looked at the black haired man with a doubtful face. Before, no one had paid any attention to him, even though he was constant times ridiculed. And now, this man who he just happened to stumble into wanted to have dinner with him at the café? Alex knew he was insecure of himself, but he sure as hell wasn?t dumb. With a slap, he pushed the stranger?s hands away, sheathed his longsword over his shoulder, and walked away, his hands in his pockets. ?Don?t?, was all Alex said. The stranger just sighed. Okay, a few rules. First of all, the date/month/time thing that I am using is now mandatory! The month can be an exception, but mostly, I want the format I have been using used in your posts. We need to stay consistent with the time, so we know just when is happening at what time. Secondly, we should slow down our posting a bit. I mean, it's awesome that we have reached the third page in three days, but at this rate, we will be so exhausted of this typing that CAF will die again. So, I want only two posts a day, in general, TOPS, including weekends.
Lionheart
Wednesday, The 33rd of Estembre; 6:50 PM Leon, with folded arms, walked slowly through the dorm hallways. The hall wasn't crowded as people must have made there was down for dinner. One thing was for sure thing at the school, that everyone that goes here will never miss dinner. Work, work, work will make someone tired and pure hungry. He stopped halfway from his room and closed his eyes. a low growl echoed all around as if a beast lived within the walls. Of course, even Leon got hungry... He fell on his bed, in not much in a hurry for his dinner because they were serving salad right at seven. He closed his eyes, wanting to take his second daily quick nap, but he knew it was too late to fall asleep now. Something was on his mind that happened earlier though. soemthing Asavar said to him. "That was a rather brave thing Leon. Standing up to Kristos with unwaining courage, its an admirable trait." He turned over, resting his head on his arm. Courage? Brave? He blinked for a full second and looked at the room window. darkness had covered the outside completely. He didn't have courage to face his father. He wasn't brave enough to strike back. If it was someone who knew him the best in his life so far, it would be Asavar. Leon didn't tell him about his past, and yet it was as if he knew exactly what has happened to him. He knew he shouldn't, but slowly Leon began to close his eyes.... ~*~ 13 years ago... Beyond the green hills, clouds rolled past and the beautiful sun was reveiled in front of Leonheart. The morning was always so awesome on top of the Maxwell's roof. Leonheart jumped up and down as his his older sister clapped, overjoyed by her brother's excitement. She always loved seeing her younger sibling smile. Mrs. Maxwell, walked up the ladder that leaded them to the roof. When they moved in, their was a giant hole on the right side of the house. Their mother sighed as the children laughed at the apperance of their mother. "You guys are always up here. Every morning! You give me a heart attack every morning when I never see you two in bed!" "Oh mommy, this is the best!!" yelled the young Leonheart as he ran around the small roof as if someone was trying to catch him. Leonheart smiled and closed his eyes because his smile was so big. The nightmare began. He opened his eyes to fin his father between his mother and his sister. His evil eyes... "Daddy?" Blood scattered as both bodies dropped dead to the ground. blood spattered on the face of the young Leonheart. His eyes, lost in space and time as his father gave him a giant smile. "I will never leave you..." ~*~ Leon opened his eyes as he jolted straight up. sweat pouring down his back as he tried to control his breathing. No matter what he did, his father always showed up in his dreams. after calming himself down, he looked at the big clock hanging above the bed. Seven-fiftteen, time for him to make his way to the cafeteria. He got up from his soaked bed and made his way to the cafeteria. At his arrive, he didn't see anyone, but the usual students that got here early. He grabbed his usual try-load and sat at the empty table in the corner of the room. He eat quietly, awaiting for something to catch his eyes. After all, there was something happening at every corner.
TheResplendent
Wednesday, 33rd of Estembre 7:15 PM * * * * * Momo got a pouty look in her eyes, she suspected Syrus's silence came from a preoccupation of his mind on Aizen again. She lowered her chin, but rather then get discouraged she decided to do something about it. She took her legs off of Syrus's lep and leaped over onto him. "Whoa! What the..." Syrus said, startled. Mo straddled her legs across Syrus and sat on his lap facing him. She leaned up on him pressing her chest to his and slowly moved herself forward on Syrus's lap further toward his stomach. Syrus's eyes rolled back in his head for a quick second from the sudden sensation he got from Monique's motion. Syrus's hands found themselves to Momo's body without him even thinking about it. Momo gave an inviting smile, liking that she fully had his attention. "I'll take your mind off of her...Syrus." she said in a low and melodic tone. Syrus wasen't about to fight it, but it took him a bit to register in his head why she was doing this. He wanted to tell her that he wasen't thinking about Aizen but she silenced him by pressing her mouth against his and deeply kissing him. She adjusted herself again and raised herself up on him so he could slip his hand underneathe her skirt. He happily obliged, as she now invited her tongue into his mouth. He wanted to clear things up with her but she hardly gave him a chance. Not that he was complaining. He spent so much time the past few weeks training hard (and reluctantly studying for what seemed to be back to back history exams) he had little time to really spend with his friends or Monique. He always enjoyed how aggressive Momo could be, not to mention she was especially motivated this time. She pulled him down on top of her off the chair onto the bunched up blankets she had set up to serve as a makeshift bed. She kicked her shoes off playfully and giggled a bit as Syrus began to take control. Her scent intoxicated him, and drove him even more. * * * * * Syrus lifted his watch up from the floor and glanced at it. The time read 9:56 PM, the night sky sparkled with a few stars, but it seemed darker then most days during the month of Estembre. He looked down at Mo who was snuggled up with a pillow, still asleep. The serene look on her face brought a smile to his, as he stood up and tossed his shirt on carelessly. 'It's getting pretty late...talk about a good way to lose track of time. I can't slack on my training though...I wish she would given me a chance to explain that my mind was actually on the finals. But oh well...things turned out pretty well anyway, hehe.' Syrus thought to himself as he leaned over the edge of the little room they were in. He didn't want to wake her so she could cast that spell again just so he could get down. He took some time to admire her body a little bit more, eyeing her from head to toe. He covered her with the blankets before whipping out his blue magi crystal. "Heh, let's see how much progress i've been making. I'm still only at 25% but as long as i keep studying with Professor Terep i'll have it up in no time" Syrus said confidently as he activated his crystal unleashing a copy of the wind magic Momo used to get them up to her secret room. Syrus rose in the air and stumbled off balance again. "Gah! I definitly cannot get used to this...give me fire magic anyday." he said as he struggled to gain control on the air currents. He aimed himself toward the courtyard entrance and deactivated the magi close enough to the floor to just drop down lightly. He fixed his hair up a little and walked into the academy. He figured most of the students were in their dorms by now, studying hard before going to sleep. Especially the senior class with their final exams coming up fairly soon. He turned left at the entrance and headed toward his dorm before too late so he wouldn't wake his roommates. Another right brought him to the center of the building. Mo's secret place was a bit of a ways away from the dorm area, but he didnt mind the walk. A few noises from around the corner of the next intersection slowed his movement down a bit. It sounded like footsteps, someone else seemed to be roaming the halls. Syrus doubted it was anything to be concerned about but he readied his hand by Aludra's hilt just in case. Could never be too careful. Syrus snuck up to the corner and spun around it quickly only to see a fist pointed at his face. "Gah! What the, Clyne what are you doing?" Syrus said, grabbing Clyne's hand instinctively. "Syrus? I was the library gettin some books, what are YOU doing roaming around?" Clyne asked in return, her arms folded. "I uh...just, I...was training..." Syrus replied, figuring Clyne already knew he was lying. "Right, training?" Clyne said, rolling her eyes knowing that Syrus was with Monique. "Well, I was headed to my dorm too...so if you really ARE headed there let's go together" Clyne said, taking it upon herself to make sure Syrus gets some sleep for the night. They continued on toward the dorms as they ran into yet another person out roaming the halls. It was Kristos, his pace was quick and the expression on his face quite serious. He walked quickly and brushed by Syrus, shoving his shoulder with his as he passed him. Syrus stopped and turned to him. "Hey, didn't your mother ever teach you to say excuse me?" Kristos stopped for a second and looked back toward him. "I have no desire to explain myself to you, Syrus Cainun. I'm doing something quite important." "Ha, you sound all big and bad now. I saw you in the cafeteria, it was impressive don't get me wrong. But if you ever want to know what it's like to fight with a real warrior you better remember the name you just said." Syrus answered in a serious tone, focusing in on Kristos's eyes. Kristos turned his head and continued walking on, not wanting to get involved in anything other then finding the information he needed to know... "Come on, he isn't as bad as you think. Save some energy for the exams will you?" Clyne said, pulling Syrus along with her. After a few more minutes they reached the wing of the building with the dorms. They had to walk across the I section of the dorms in order to get to where theirs was...
Tekkaman
Wednesday, The 33rd of Estembre, 2130 hrs (9:30pm) For some reason, after Arron and Kyo had walked away, Strom had a magnetic attraction to follow them. He hesitated, though, before remembering what Kyo said to Aaron. "You know it. Room ' I15 ' only holds the best foods in this academy." Strom thought about Kyo's words for a moment before looking up again; both Aaron and Kyo had left, leaving Strom in the hallway by his lonesome. The sun had quickly set today, leaving the hallway illuminated by lamps; it seemed as if ghosts could freely patrol the halls (If ghosts existed, that is.) if they wanted to due to the soft glows in the Academy now. Strom decided to find dorm room 'I (as in 'eye') 15' and try to talk to Aaron after so many years of looking at him through his next-door window. "He doesn't even know I exist," Strom said to himself as he ran back to the ' I ' Block of dorms. (There were 8 blocks of rooms: Water block, Ice block, Fire block, Lightning block, Air Block, Earth block, Summoning Block, and Black [magi] block, all categorized by the first letter of the student's major in Magi.) As he made it to the ' I ' section, Strom began looking for room 15; he accidentally knocked on I16 instead from nervousness. A naked latina opened the door expecting his boyfriend. Dissapointed at the fact it was not who she expected, she expelled air from her nose ("Humph.") and closed the door calmly. Strom just looked at I16 before blinking a couple of times to confirm that it wasn't a dream. "Wha?" Strom thought, "Usually... mos' girls'll be screamin' 'cause a stranger saw 'em naked." Curious, Strom walked closer to I16 and listened, he could hear a girl yelling. "I swear... where is he," Strom heard the girl say. He assumed she was talking about her so-called 'boyfriend'. "I swear... I'm so horny... the next guy who knocks on my door tonight is gonna' get laid... I don't care who it is." Strom considered knocking again but didn't wanna press his luck. He shifted his jeans from one direction to the other in a vain attempt to control himself. Still looking at I16 in semi-shock, Strom opened the door to I15 without knocking. Big mistake. Before Strom could react, Kyo had did a flying kick to Strom's chest that connected spot on, knocking the wind from his stomach; Strom was sent spiraling out of the door, into the middle of the hallway floor. Before Strom could yelp in pain from the kick, Kyo was already hovering over him; he had used his Ice Magi crystal to freeze Strom's mouth shut - to keep from screaming. "Shut up." Kyo said, looking left to right in the hallway sneakily. Aaron came out of I16 as well, still eating a cup of hot Ramen. "Hey - isn't that the same guy that - " "Yes, Aaron, but hold on a sec'." Kyo turned to Strom, his eyes resolute; Strom could read his mind at once. Don't expect me to be weak. Strom looked on into Kyo's eyes. He didn't want to look away and show a sign of weakness so he stayed still until, what seemed like forever of 'eye interrogation', Kyo spoke. "How much did you hear?" Strom made a twisted face while his mouth was still frozen. The look must've been funny: Aaron shot a Ramen noodle out of his nose, trying not to make any noise; Kyo's stern face calmed down a little. Still Kyo looked without mercy. "I said... how much did you hear?" Strom pointed to his frozen mouth that was starting to lose feeling. Kyo looked down that he had to take away the ice to hear Strom speak. As he took away the ice with his magi, Strom's mouth started to burn immediately (Frozen nerves) but he still had to scream to Kyo. "Huat har who hawkin' hout?!" "Oh god," Kyo said, still standing over a limp Strom, "Aaron?" "No prob." Aaron said, still munching on the noodles. He pulled out his Support Magi crystal and healed Strom's mouth with ease. He then continued to eat his food. "Now," Kyo said, looking at Strom, "What did you say?" "I said, what are you talkin' 'bout?! Hear what?" Strom said fuming. Kyo had to calm Strom down before he continued, "I was too busy listening to a naked girl next door to you two." Aaron stopped eating; Kyo's eyebrows raised. "...How do you know she was naked?" Kyo asked, one eyebrow still raised. "Dude, she flashed me." Strom said, as if he was being asked to manipulate water - so elementary. "...Are you pulling our strings?" Kyo asked. Strom smiled, "If you two don't believe me, go and knock on the door yourself - I16." Kyo, for the first time, looked away from Strom to Aaron. Aaron, looking at Kyo, shrugged and smiled. Kyo turned back to Strom, still on the ground. "I think we will. We gotta see if your story checks out." Kyo stepped away from Strom and walked with Aaron to I16. Strom bared all his teeth; he couldn't keep from smiling as the two knocked. "This is gonna be sweet." Strom thought. -------------------------------------------------- Clyne was dragging Syrus down the empty hallway while trying to talk with him. Kitty
Wednesday, 33rd of Estembre, 10:08 PM "Mmmhm..." Monique mumbled as she rolled over on the soft carpet and blankets she laid between. She rubbed at her eyes for a moment before staring up at the sky. She sat up quickly, and it took her a moment to realize she was alone. She figured he must have left a while ago, and she wasn't bothered at all. She got dressed as fast as she could before grabbing her books and jumping off of the ledge to her secret hangout spot. Before landing, she repeated the spell, gripping her magi tightly in her pocket, letting her jump a few times before landing softly in front of her dorm. She kicked the door open lazily, yawning as she walked in. She was a bit surprised at how exhausted she was. She had slept for a while already, and she thought she'd be incredibly energized out of sheer happiness. She kicked off her shoes, dropped her books on the floor, and fell onto her bed with a loud 'fwump' sound. She reached up and grabbed her pillow, sighing into it. "I bet you aren't thinking about her now, are you Syrus?" she asked, even though he wasn't around. It wasn't very long before she had fallen asleep. ~ 'Hello?' Monique called out, but no one answered. She stood alone in a dense forest, only a few streams of light making their way from the sun in the sky to the leaf-covered ground. She looked around and finally spotted her rapier at the base of a tree. She ran towards it, but she didn't get any nearer. She tried running faster, but everything else moved faster with her. She stopped to take a breath, and was suddenly flying backwards. A loud crash was heard as she was sent through a few trees, now being whipped about uncontrollably. Though the noise made her wince, she didn't feel anything. Looking behind her, she saw she was being pulled by a faceless boy in the Academy's uniform wearing a strange emblem where the school crest normally went. Confused, she initially tried to pull herself away, but when they neared a tree, she realized he was the one hitting the trees. 'Who are you?' she tried to ask in a loud enough voice for the boy to hear, but nothing escaped but a whisper. She tried again before he disappeared in a large burst of flame. She stopped flying backwards and started to fall. But now she wasn't in the forest. She was in the air, falling down towards a lake. She clawed around in her pockets for her magi as she chanted, 'Pluma Pes!' over and over again, attempting to stop in the air before hitting the water. The fast approaching surface of the lake made her panic, and her magi fell from her fumbling hands and down into the abyss below her. Monique hit the surface momentarily, but it didn't feel like water. It felt more like feathers, and suddenly she was in a lake of black feathers. She giggled as she waved her arms in the same fashion a child might move his or her arms in the snow to make a snow angel. The feathers were soft and gentle against her skin, and she felt like she was floating slowly until a sharp pain in her stomach got her attention. Letting out a shriek, she stared at her abdomen to see her own rapier protruding from it. Looking up, she saw Syrus, Clyne, Aizen, and her other friends, professors, relatives, some enemies and even a few people she did not recognize. The feathers beneath her changed from black to red as her blood oozed from her back and stomach. Pacis landed at her feet and began speaking, but she couldn't understand him very well. She only caught a few words at the end before feeling herself being lifted out of the feathers. Her eyes rolled back into her head and all she saw was white.... ~ "AAH!" she shrieked, hitting her head as she leaped off her bunk. She looked at the top bunk to check if she had woken her roomate before remembering that her roomate had been kicked out the previous month. She still was unclear on the details, but plenty of rumors had surfaced, though most were very unplausable when she heard them. She panted for a moment, holding herself up by pressing on her knees. She glanced at the clock, which read 1:13 AM at that moment. "Holy shit... What was that about?" she breathed, rubbing at her stomach as the image of her rapier sticking through it flashed through her head. She decided she need to talk to someone about the strange dream she had just had, and figuring all the instructors and her friends were asleep, she thought about who she would go wake up.
ooc :: Alright, freaky dream-ness. Anyone can feel free to hear a knock at the door that will be Monique. She'll probably ramble on about nonsense for the most part, so prepared to be confused and annoyed. It's about 1:00 AM, too. ;D
Riku
Wednesday, 33rd of Estembre, 10:45 PM It was late and everyone else was asleep, dreaming of fantasies what would never come true. Aizen awoke in the middle of her unrestful slumber, not really being able to sleep after all that's happened in one day. She sat herself up in her bed and sighed, scractching the back of her head and looking out the window, the stars gently giving warm light in the dark room. "Ugh... I can't sleep tonight," she whispered to herself, hoping she wasn't waking anyone up, "I need to get my mind off today and go somewhere." she gently hopped out of bed and put on her flowy white and green dress, put her hair up in a ponytail, grabbed her shoes and slowly walked to the room's door, looking around to see if anyone else was up and headed towards the garden, where she usually went for some deep or calm thinking. Aizen knew that staying up late past the school's curfew was against the rules and she could be penalized if she got caught, but she didn't really care. After training a bit with Instructor Shavers a bit, she wanted to change and got the confidence to stand up for herself, not wanting to be weak anymore. As she walked down the hallway's corridor, she heard a light bouncing sound coming from a dorm room next to her. She turned around a little bit with a surprised look on her face, hearing quiet moaning sounds and other different.... sounds. With zn even more surprised look on her face, she quickly walked down the hall, not wanting to hear any more "business" going on in that room. "Oh my gosh," she quietly yelped, "I can't believe people are actually do..." And sharply, she bumped into somebody, quietly yelping and bouncing the other way. "I'm so sorry!" she replied, lifting her head up to see a familiar and confused face. "Syrus!" she whispered, smiling and relieved it was someone she knew. Syrus lightly gasped and waved frantically, his face flushed and hysterical. "Uh.. uhm.. h.. hi, Aizen!" he finally replied, "I had no idea you were going to be up this late!" "Yeah me neither," she replied, smiling, "but I couldn't sleep, so I was headed out to the garden." "Oh wow! That's really nice!" "Um... are you okay? You seem really uptight..." "Oh he's fine, just a bit flustered by what happened today," Clyne finally engaged in the conversation, lightly punching Syrus in the stomach. Syrus yelped a bit and scratched his head, smiling an even more confusing smile. Knowing that something was going on, but not wanting to go into it even further, Aizen smiled and nodded, walking in the opposite direction they were going. "Okay, then... I'll see you guys tomorrow!" she whispered loudly, waving as she walked down the dark hallway. Syrus and Clyne waved back until she was gone, Clyne then giving him a stern look. "You do realize what you've done, don't you?" Syrus looked at the ground and sighed. "I know... but... I don't know what to do..." He really enjoyed Momo's company, but something about Aizen made him feel as if he'd just done something terrible. "Well... guess you'll just have to do this on your own," Clyne replied, turning and walking with Syrus down to their destination. ~*~ Aizen finally reached the gardens and sighed, looking up into the sky and stretching. It was a really beautiful place that no one even heard of, which is why she liked the quiet and calmness of the night. She quietly walked to the direction of her normal sitting rock, going to look up at the sky and think until she saw a familiar shilouette sitting on it, also looking at the sky. She walked near the person a little more into looking range until she recognized who it was. "Kristos?" ~*~ OOC: Omg, Syrus and Momo were getting their freak on. XD I think eveyrone in this school is horny. I'll bold things later, as how I have school now. >w<
Sandy
~Thursday, 34th of Estembre, 07:00 AM~ Cassandra Augurion woke up in her room at the White Block dorms. She was supposed to spend the whole morning on practical training duty at the infirmary, under the watchful eye of Head Nurse Kurozaki. However, her thoughts were focused on what Instructor Algreis had said yesterday. "To think I'd be able to do a proper summoning with my brother..." she thought. She felt that Circes was still asleep, although some parts in his body obviously were quite awake. But Cassandra didn't want to go further with those thoughts. She tried to put her mind onto other things. Then she remembered something she had overheard last night when she'd went to bed. One of the nurses at the infirmary, Carolyn was her name, had been mysteriously injured. "I think I'll look into that", Cassandra said to herself, confident that she could solve the mystery. After all, supporting magic was her ultimate forté. Even Nurse Kurozaki, who was known for her skeptical attitude towards students had complimented Cassandra's abilities on several occasions. Cassandra grabbed a bite to eat at the cafeteria and enjoyed her quick breakfast while walking to the infirmary. When she arrived there, she immediately went to see Carolyn. The sight was devastating. "Oh my... This had to be done by magic! Air magic, I suppose, judging from the long, thin wounds..." Cassandra gasped as she examined the unconscious nurse. Carolyn woke up to her touch. The nurse looked at Cassandra and opened her mouth to say something. "What is it?" Cassandra asked as gently as she could, but inside her she was eager to find out what had happened. "K...Kristos..." Carolyn uttered weakly, then passed out again. Cassandra pondered the case for a while. There was a guy called Kristos in her Support Magic Class, but she didn't know anything else about him, so she decided to fetch the one person who definitely would. Her sleepyhead twin brother.
Doublehex
Thursday, The 34th of Estembre; 8:20 AM The sounds of the instruments evolved into unison as Instructor Salina moved her hands in an elegant manner, directing them where they needed to be. Here, they were at peace; there was no war, no pressure of the Academy to succeed. Here, there was only themselves, and the instruments. An hour later, the bell rang, and the class flooded out. Within the next few minutes, Alex would find himself in Sparring class once again. The memories of yesterday?s humiliating defeat quickly came back into his mind. He wondered if he would meet that girl again. Maybe he could beat her, but she beat him the first time, why would today be any different? Alex sighed to himself. What was the point of worrying? If he loses, he loses. If he wins, then whoopee-doo. It would of have been by luck, anyways. Short post I know, but meh, I just can't think how much longer I can stretch it out for (especially since I have never been in Music class since 3rd grade >_<). So, Kitty, its all yours now.
Sakura
Wednesday 33rd of Estembre, 9:40pm Clyne covered a yawn, she blinked a couple of times, she hadn't realised she was so tired. Syrus was walking beside her quietly, looking around at the I dorms. It seemed quiet and the only sound was their footsteps, until they rounded a corner and saw two male students standing outside a door with the number 116 on it, conversing in hushed tones, sometimes turning to look at the door. "Kyo~!" a female voice could be heard. The male student with dark blue hair lifted his head and pushed his glasses up, watching as a violet haired female came up to him. "Hey Aaron." she greeted with a bright smile. "Sakura, hi. Hey Kyo, I'll handle that guy. See you later." Aaron nodded to them both and headed back into 115. Kyo and Sakura smiled at each other before striking up a conversation and walking off hand in hand. Clyne and Syrus continued after the hall had been cleared, not wanting to be caught up in anything. "Who was that girl, Sakura?" Syrus asked, looking in the direction the couple had gone. "Sakura is a popular student around the academy. Smart, cool, calm, collected-" "You mean your complete double?" he grinned, interrupting her. Clyne glared and swung her hand at him, just enough to tap him. He laughed and the two continued on. Something was plaguing Clyne, and Syrus could clearly tell from her facial expression. "What is it?" "Huh? What are you talking about?" "There's something bothering you. What is it?" Syrus sighed, looking at her. "It's nothing." Syrus grabbed her upper arm, forcing her to stop walking. He looked her in the eye and she squirmed under his gaze. She let out an exasperated sigh and flung her arm up, breaking free from his grip and folding her arms across her chest. "If you must know. I was wondering what you actually were doing instead of training." she knew it had to do with Monique, but she wanted to hear it from him. "....I was with Monique. But you know that." he rolled his eyes. "I know there's something more to this Syrus. You forced me to tell you, so now you have to answer." "I slept with her." he shrugged simply. "You wanted the truth, that's it." he responded to her look of surprise. Inside Clyne felt herself being crushed. And started wondering exactly how long they had been doing it. She was also afraid of that answer, and on one hand didn't want to know. She had been his friend for so long, yet he didn't pay any attention to her, always going for someone he didn't know, or a complete flirt. She hadn't realised she'd been quiet for so long and soon saw that Syrus was snapping his fingers in front of her face to get her attention. "Oi, you ok?" he asked. "Fine." she ground out, pushing forward, now she really wanted to get back to her dorm. Syrus hurried to keep up with her, not paying attention to where he was going as he tried to get her to talk to him, asking why she suddenly got angry. He felt someone bump into him and turned to look, seeing Aizen. "I'm so sorry!" she cried, looking up, but then her face changed to relief. You seem really uptight..." "Oh he's fine, just a bit flustered by what happened today," Clyne finally engaged in the conversation, lightly punching Syrus in the stomach, glaring at him. Clyne mostly stayed quiet until they split up. She entered her room in the L dorms and said goodbye to Syrus as he continued on to the F section. With another yawn she shuffled around the room, changing out of her uniform and into a pair of fitness pants and a t-shirt. Her mind continually played the scene when Syrus simply told her he had slept with Momo, she growled and started shadow boxing in her room, things of the day still running through her mind, and the long going problem of Syrus still not seeing her. She finally felt tired and fell onto her bed, wiggling under the covers and curling up to go to sleep, mind still whirring with everything that happened, especially things concerning Momo and Syrus. Clyne woke up to a knocking at the door. She lifted her head from her pillow, eyes squinting open to look at her clock. The time read 1:18 in the morning. She was tired and half asleep, wondering who the hell would be knocking on her door at 1 in the morning. With a growl she rolled out of bed and flung open the door. She snapped awake immediately when she saw that it was Momo standing in her doorway looking disheveled and restless. Clyne stiffened and her fists clenched, the memories of the day before were still fresh, along with Syrus' information. It was still raw and now Momo was here. But she remembered Momo was her friend and reluctantly allowed her entry. The two sat on her bed, slightly facing each other. "I'm sorry that I woke you up, Clyne. I had a nightmare and I felt that I had to talk to someone about it." Momo said quickly, going to describe her dream and ramble about everything she wanted to say. Clyne kept yawning during the tale, she was still tired, and Momo's voice was making her go to sleep. When the other girl finally finished she had a bright smile on her face, she was happy to have gotten all of it off her chest. "So, how long have you been with Syrus?" Clyne probed, she really wanted to know, and it was the ideal opportunity. "Well, I don't think we really have a proper relationship. It's an on and off sorta thing." "Syrus is so picky about things he does. What do you guys usually do when you get together?" Clyne was good at masking her emotions and her look showed complete curiosity with nothing else hidden. Momo then went on to describe what kind of things they got up to. Some things she didn't go into detail about, and Clyne was glad for that because she didn't know if she'd be able to take it. It was past 2am by the time Momo left her room, majority of the time taken by her talking about her dream. Monique thanked her and apologised again before heading to her room. Clyne fell back onto her bed and went to sleep, now pondering on the new information she had gotten from Momo, maybe she could use it to her advantage. OOC: Sorry, wanted to complete things from the night before. Yes, Clyne is jealous and she wants Syrus too. TheResplendent
Thursday, 34th of Estembre 7:05 AM Syrus rolled over in his bed, half asleep half awake and glanced over at his alarm clock. It was set to go off in about 10 minutes. It's been a habit as of late though, he would always wake up before his alarm went off. He considered it getting cheated out of sleep, but he knew he had to get up or risk being late for class. Today was thursday however, so he felt relieved he didn't have class until early afternoon. Still, despite getting to sleep rather late last night, getting up early enough for some breakfast and training before class was important to a solider in his eyes. He groaned and turned his alarm off pre-maturely and sat up in the normal academy twin-sized bed and sat down and we looked over at his still sleeping roommates. "Feh...bunch of slackers." he said as he rubbed his hand through his hair and started up for the shower. He grabbed a couple of towels and tossed them on the closed toilet, as he began to shed his clothing and started up the shower. He stepped in and let the warmer then normal water spray down on him as he leaned himself against the wall and dipped his head down to get his hair wet. Many thoughts ran through his mind as the water beat down on him. He thought about how great last night was with Monique, the way she just jumped on him and things getting pretty heated from there. He also thought about why Clyne got so upset at him when he told her. He figured she knew that him and Momo were close like that. He sighed and just shook his head, oblivious to any latent feelins Clyne might have had. 'Man...what's with girls being so sensitive about everything? Why do I have to be made out to seem like the bad guy even when I haven't done anything wrong?' he thought to himself as he finished up his shower. Syrus stepped out, dried up, and got dressed. He looked at his watch, it read 7:27. He walked back into the main area of his room and noticed his roommates still sleeping. One of them 2 years younger then the senior class, who liked to think he was popular with the girls. Brandol, a fraud of a playboy to say the least. Syrus would tease him sometimes saying that he could get more action in a single night then Brandol could in a year. Not the most dedicated student either, Syrus shook his head when he thought about him and how he probably would never be good enough to pass his final exams in two years. The other one was a pretty cool and laid back guy who Syrus got along with rather well. His name was Jed, a member of the senior class as well. In personality the two got along, but they don't typically spar together. Jed refuses to step onto a battle ground against Syrus, rather then beside him. He threw his academy uniform jacket on as the finishing touch and grabbed his trusty broadsword from beside his bed. He opened the door and walked out, headed straight for the cafeteria to get himself a nice big breakfast. "Oh man, I can smell the food all the way from here! Nothing like a bacon and sausage omelette, a stack of 4 pancakes with maple syrub, hash browns, and some slices of pineapple to start a day off!" he said to himself as he sped up his pace. He rounded the corner toward the end of the the east wing dorms, where the entrance to the wind with the cafeteria was. The last group of dorms there were the B section, for Black Magic majors. He turned the last corner but before taking another step he was ran into by female student with strawberry blond hair. Syrus was only moved a bit out of place as the girl fell flat on her bottom. She was accompanied by a male student who looked rediculously like the girl who ran into him. It was pretty obvious even to a blind man that these two were related. "Ow...dammit! Get out of my way would ya!" she screamed up at Syrus as she picked herself up and ran around him. Syrus just stood there with a dumbfounded look on his face as he followed her with his eyes, wondering what the hell just happened. Her brother quickly walked up to Syrus and placed his hands together in an aplogetic form. "I'm really sorry about that, please forgive my sister...she's very, well..." "Yeah don't worry about it...I think I know the type. I had no idea the halls were so damn active on a thursday morning." Syrus responded. "Um, my name is Circes. My sister is Cassandra, again i'm quite sorry." Circes said bowing his head to Syrus. Syrus waved his hand, as if to tell him it really wasen't neccesary to apologize so much. "CIRCES! Would you hurry up, please!? God, you can be so slow sometimes!" Carrot yelled back, loud enough for practically the whole wing to hear. Circes snapped to attention and started running toward her way. "Um, gotta go! Sorry, it was nice meeting you!" Circes said before running after his sister. Syrus shook his head and just continued on to the cafeteria before something else happened on the way there. He did wonder though why they seemed to be in such a hurry. A lot of rumors have been going around campus since yesterday, but Syrus tried to forget about them. What he needed now was a big breakfast, and some serious training before his Blue Magi class. Riku
Thursday, 34th of Estembre 7:35 AM Aizen woke up in her bed again, except this time, it was morning instead of night. She stretched in her bed and yawned, looking around and noticing she was the first one up again. "I guess I got the most sleepiest people out of the whole school to bunk with," she sighed, getting up from her bed and going into the bathroom to freshen herself up. She thought about a lot of things that happened last night, about Kristos and his slilence and why Syrus was acting so weird in front of her. She walked out of the dorm room when she was done and headed towards the cafeteria, seeing hundreds of students in line waiting for breakfast. She looked around until she saw Syrus, helping himself to a huge stack of waffles and pancakes. She ran towards him with a smile on her face, waving frantically and hoping to get his attention. "Syrus!" she finally yelled, seeing him turn around with a pancake in his mouth. "Umph.. uh hey, Aizen!" he replied, a smile sweeping across his face. "Hey! I see you like the breakfast here today, huh?" she replied, laughing a bit. "Yeah, they always make the best food here," he said, smiling and helping himself to more items. "So... what's up?" Aizen put her hands behind her back and smiled, causing him to smile back. "Well... I was wondering if later on today, you could help me with my fighting techniques." She knew that Instructor Shavers had helped her out so much, but she knew Syrus was a very athletic fighter and wanted to see what he could show her. "So... is that okay with you?" Syrus finally got all his food and walked out of the line, walking to a table and sitting his tray down. "Hey, it's no problem for me," he replied, playfully flexing his muscles, "I'll show you a thing or two!" Aizen slightly giggled, happy that he was accepting her as a friend already. She thanked him and walked off, also wanting to get some food. "So... does that mean she still has feelings for me or not?" Syrus thought to himself, watching as she waited peacefully in line for her turn. He turned around and slumped, wondering what he would do with all this attention he was getting. He didn't really mind girls, but he certianly didn't want this attention all at once... he also didn't want to lose all his friends on a decision that could change everything... ....What would he do? ~*~ 12: 15 PM Aizen walked around the halls, getting ready for her first class of the morning: Supportive Magic Honours II. She loved that class because none of the really popular people were in there and casting healing spells was her forte. After collecting a lot of things from her locker, she headed down to her healing class where Instuctor Kaya would teach her a new healing spell. While walking down the halls, she noticed the back of Kristos and ran up to him, smiling and giving him her most happiest face. "Hi, Kristos. It's nice to see you again!" she said, clutching her books to her chest. He looked up at her with his hair covering parts of his eyes and smiled, but sadness swept over his entire face. Aizen saw this and felt a little worried, wondering what happened to him to make him feel so sad... Kristos was the best student in some parts, so what was going on? "Um... so, ready for dance class?" "Yeah... I guess," he replied, sighing with that sad look on his face. Aizen looked at him and stopped, causing him to stop and face her full front, his eyes wandering in her deep green eyes. "Hmm? What's wrong, Miss Skye?" She took a deep breath and sighed, looking up at his face with concern and compassion. "You can call me Aizen, you should know I'm your friend... which is why I'm wondering why you have such a fake mask over your true emotion." Kristos slightly gasped, acting as if he was surprised, but full- well knew where she was going. "You know I can see through it," she replied sternly, "I wear it all the time.... but, with a person such as yourself that has so many good qualities... what's wrong?" Kristos looked at her for a moment, then looked down at the marble floor, wondering if he should tell her what was going on. "You don't have to tell me, but you should know I'm always here for you..." ~*~ OOC: I'll fix it later, as how the family needs me. Anyway, Aizen is probably giving up on Syrus and putting her new crush on Kristos. Type away, Engel.
Engel
34th of Estembre, 12:20 pm. Kristos looked at the floor and shook his head. "It's nothing. Just something I have to do by myself, and it'd be bad for you to get caught up in it." Kristos said, turning on his heel before she could reply, moving into his Dance class. He stripped off his jacket and looked at his chest, realizing that he still wore clean bandages out of habit. Carolyn...if I'd listened to you, you'd be fine now...I...goddamnit. If I'd let myself heal naturally, you wouldn't have to be healed. I'm gonna get them back for you, I'll beat them so close to death, I might...I might... He trailed off in his mind, and slowly unwound the bandages. He'd wear the bandages as trophies now, and as a promise. He spat in a trash can and stripped down to his white slacks, fixing his azure-blue hair. He walked out and steeled himself. Today he danced angrily, furiously, fast. He moved dangerously and quickly, and if he'd had a blade in his hands, limbs would of been lost. He felt not sad, but angry and guilty. The peroid ended soon and he threw his jacket and bandages back on, leaving without a word. Kristos rounded the corner, moving to the sparring class. He knocked on Instructor Shaver's door as calmly as he could, his eyes narrowing into slits. Guy Shavers opened the door to see an angry and confused Kristos standing in front of him, pushing his rose-tinted glasses back up the bridge of his nose. "Yes, Kristos? This is a free peroid, what are you doing here?" "I need...I need to practice. Please, get your strongest student here, now." There was an enforced note of seriousness in his voice and Guy nodded, stepping into his office as Kristos went to sit in a small waiting room, drawing lines of attack patterns and strategic points on the floor in a sheet of ice. He needed the practice, and to relieve the stress. Relieve the guilt. OOC: Anyone can be the student, I don't care. =
Doublehex
Thursday; The 34th of Estembre; 12:21 PM The Aku Soku Zan user stared into the eyes of his opponent; he did not exactly recognize him, but he was certain that he had seen him before. His light brown hair; the shoulder pads that were slightly visible from beneath his sparring outfit. He had a recognizable appearance, but Alex couldn?t put his finger on it. The opponent came in with a large swing from his broadsword. It would of have been slightly difficult for most fighting styles to avoid; but the Aku Soku Zan made it an easy task. A mere propulsion from the ground via his palms, and Alex was back on the ground, on the safe side of the broadsword. Seeing his chance, Alex closed in for the kill. He stabbed into the broadsword user?s arm. Alex?s opponent pulled away before any significant damage was done, but his arm was still bleeding enough for him to grab hold of it. ?Damn it?, he swore. Alex returned to his neutral position, his right foot leading. ?Whats your name?? Alex didn?t say anything. ?What does he need my name for? We?re just sparring. No real harm done?? ?Your name damnit! What is your name?? ?Alex.? He chuckled. ?Syrus.? Alex licked his lips. ?You fight good?Alex.? He kneeled down to grab his broadsword. He swung it downward. ?That?s the Aku Soku Zan, right?? ?Yes?, Alex confirmed, if a bit nervously. ?That?s a really hard technique. I didn?t think any of the teachers taught it. In fact, they don?t. Where did you learn it?? By now, Syrus had gone into an official stance. ?I taught it myself.? ?You? Yeah, right. Where did you learn it? Seriously.? ?I read a lot.? Syrus raised an eyebrow. ?I see. Well, let?s see if your book copied Aku Soku Zan can deal with me.? Instantly, he charged, Syrus? two hands trailing behind him, the heavy Aludra dragging on the ground. He sliced upwards, dirt flying into the air as Alex barely dodged the attack. He brought the weapon downward, like a hammer. Alex blocked it with his blade, but the enormous weight brought him down to his knee. Syrus slashed at Alex two times; the third Alex rolled out of the way and slashed at Syrus? side. The teen turned and blocked the attack just in time, but he was now on the defensive. ?Alex!? The battle interrupted, both students turned to face Instructor Shavers. The bald man pushed back his rose colored glasses as he walked onto the arena. ?I have a request for you. Come with me.? Nodding, Alex sheathed his sword and followed, leaving Syrus confused and exhilarated. Alex was brought to a certain silvery haired man, waiting rather impatiently in the changing room. ?Alex, this is Kristos. He is looking for some practice. I want you to spar with him.? Alex nodded. ?Instructor, isn?t there someone else! I need your strongest student, not this kid who can barely lift his sword!? ?Kristos, shut up. Both of you, to the arena.? --- Dust filled the air as Alex got into position. His right foot pushed into the ground like a comet from the stars. Kristos slid his legs equally apart, his katana Zenjiba held in both hands like a two handed sword. Alex, personally, was surprised he could wrap all of his fingers around the hilt. They charged at once. At first, Kristos had the advantage, with a flurry of barbaric attacks. He moved so fast that Alex couldn?t tell if he was using an illusionary spell or not. His Sharigan told him no, but his weakness with the technique made him doubtful. Kristos made a foolish mistake; he attempted an overhead strike, like he wanted to cleave Alex in two. He flipped his Longsword onto his off-hand and came into contact with the katana. Sparks flew as the blades slid across each other. Alex flipped his blade back into its off-hand before continuing the battle. He sent a flurry of slashed Kristos? way, overpowering him the same way he overpowered Alex. Kristos rammed into Alex, the young man?s eyes going pale as he hit the ground. Scurrying on top of him, Kristos punched Alex in the face constantly; each hit harder than the rest. ?I?m an idiot, such an idiot! Its my fault that Cassandra got hurt! I?m the cause of everything. All those things that happen, its my fault! I can?t do anything; nothing! All I can do is beat up people, scare them shitless! I?m such an idiot!? ?Kristos!! Alex!!? At once, multiple students came to Alex?s aid, pulling Kristos off of him. ?Kristos, what the hell are you doing?? He just turned away. ?You?re coming with me, to the disciplinary committee!? The bulky instructor grabbed Kristos by his collar, dragging him off. Alex was left breathing uneasy. His nose was broken, and he felt an k-9 was lose. His eye vision was getting hazy. It got blurrier and blurrier. ?Hey, you?re okay?? ?That?s Alex, he?s never okay, what are you talking about? He?s such an idiot.? ?He flunks everything. No wonder he got his ass whooped.? ?Shut up!? He saw a girl with black hair. She had a really pretty face. ?Are you okay? Hey, come on, wake up?? Alex didn?t get a chance to. He fell into the darkness before he could ask the girl her name. He was too weak even to ask a girl a simple question.
Lionheart
Thursday; The 34th of Estembre; 12:20 PM The day was unusually cold as gray colds covered the beautiful sun. for free period, Leon could be found practice his sword techinque outside of the school without any disractions. Leon is the loner, the place suited him well being around nothing. Sweat flickered off his face as he took cuts with his mighty gunblade at the air. His precious gunblade was an old model, but it was in very good shape. Black was the color of the gunblade which matched Leon perfectly. Always see the enemies... He did a backflip and landed on his knees, his hand sticking out forward. A flame burst from his palm and burned a piece of the ground to black. More sweat poured down him as he quickly took his shirt and kept firing flames from his palm onto the ground. "Leon, hold up!" Leon quickly stopped and turned to see Instructor Piro with a group of teens behind him. A old man stood next to Instuctor Piro as he stared at Leon. The class of young teens just dstared at Leon and his scars across his body. His scars reminded him on what he was training for. "I was hoping you my show us a demo or what to come at the final stages at school here." Instructor Piro said as Leon spat on the ground. demostraton? Not again. "I really don't have time instructor." He whispered as the old man seemed to take a big blink as if he was disappointed. "Now, Leon. I know you don't like to waste your free period, but please." Leon signed to himself as he gave in to the look on his teacher's face. He slowly and quietly put both of his hands on his gunblade and hold it out in front of him. He stood perfectly straight and evenly squared as he stared directly at his blade. the class tried to fingure out what he was doing as the old stranger had a shock look on his face as if he knew exactly what he was going to do. The instructor only smiled as he seen Leon do this techinque before. The silence grew and grew until sparks seem to appear around Leon. The sparks grew bigger and stronger as Leon kept perfectly still. flames burst from the sparks as the teens seemed to be at awe. The old man was stunned to the very bone. As soon as the flames stopped growing everyone knew what the flames were. The raging flames made a giant star fifteen feet wide as Leon was right in the middle of it. Instructor went on cue and step forward in front of the group. he throw out his arm towards Leon and smiled. Then, His smile turned evilly as he went into his pocket and throw out a brick, 20 feet away from Leon. "Now witness the True power of the Fire elemental!" Piro roared as Leon placed his blade at shoulder height, the point of the blade facing the brick from far away. "Dekai Kaji da!" Leon screamed the sacred words painfully as The fires shook with rage. The grey clouds above them opened a pathway of darkness as giant flames came crashing down from the heavens. They slammed hard at the exact spot of the brick as the flames drilled inside the ground. After moments of drilling the flames began to die out as the clouds reformed back together. Leon fell to his knees as his eyes began to drift away. The crowd was in complete shock as instructor Piro came to Leon's aid. Leon took deep breathes as he fell to his bottom, his eyes were light red. instrcutor Piro gave him as much praise as he could manage in one sentence. Smoke scattered into the air as it seemed the old man was the only one that wanted to see the outcome. The blast of fire had made a giant pothole, fifteen feet exactly. He hurried to the giant hole and tried to see the impact on the hard, rough ground. It seemed impossible, but the blast was strong enough to go further then the human sight. Instrcutor Piro looked at his watch and gathered the class together to leave. They seemed excited to watch the performance and praised Leon also as they left. Leon watched as the old man came to him. "That was unbelievable, my son. How did you learn that techinque?" He said as he tried his hardest not to have a excited voice. "I don't tell you my secrets. If I did, then everyone would know." He got up and left the old man at the brunt up site. It seemed the shockwave of the blast at reached the school as people in the hallways wondered if it was a small earthquake. Only the instructors of the school and only some students who instructor Piro brought to show them knew about Leon's secrect techinque. He rarely used the spell because of the magi used to preform it and the the time it takes just to do a level 2. The spell is ranked to 10, which is considered godly power and no human has ever did a level 10. Leoon learned the spell from a old torn-up book in the deepest part of the library. He practice and practice until he knew it by heart. He didn't learn it just to be the coolest or the strongest or anything of that sort. He didn't it for the time he met his father, he would burn straight to hell by the gods of fire. He walked slowly in the hallways, unaware of the people in front of him until he bumped into a student. Please, sit down." Strom, dissapointed in himself, began to walk to a chair in the middle of the class as Inst. Wait a minut'... what?" Ms. Sigreis didn't say anything more; she was already handing him a piece of paper very quickly. Riku
Thursday; The 34th of Estembre; 12:20 PM "Opps! I'm so sorry!" Aizen apologized, bumping into a young man without realizing it. She bowed low and noticed he had a gunblade, one of the most powerful swords of all. She stood back up to see a boy that she'd seen walking around by himself and practicing his moves outside. "Probably wanting to get stronger everyday," she thought, looking at his features, "...like Syrus." The short, blonde haired boy smiled a little and nodded at her apology. "It's no problem," he replied, putting his left hand on his hip and his right moving his hair out of his eyes. "It was my fault anyway, Miss...?" "Aizen. Aizen Skye," she replied, smiling and giving him a slight nod. "Miss Aizen, then," the teen replied, still smiling a little and slightly nodding. "The name's Leon." Aizen smilied and wanted become friends with him, but realized she was already a few minutes late for class. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry, Leon, but we're totally late for class," she yelped, clutching her books and walking in the other direction. "Hope to see you sometime soon!" she yelled back at him, waving and smiling. Leon gave a slight wave and continued walking toward his destination, appaled that some random girl could be so nice without even knowing the person. Usually, any other stupid girl would probably flirt with him and try to get him alone with herself, but not this time. It was actually... kind of strange. "What a weird girl," Leon sighed to himself, closing his eyes and smiling. ~*~ OOC: Edit later... gots to goes to school!
TheResplendent
Thursday, 34th of Estembre 12:40 * * * * * Syrus looked over at the beaten down Alex, then up at Kristos who seemed to be sweating rather noticebly on his forehead. Seeminigly not from the actual fight though, but from over exerting himself. He seemed way too adamant about hurting Alex in Syrus's eyes, it pissed him off. What business did Kristos, somebody Syrus thought was a fighter of honor, have beating down on someone weaker then him to make himself feel better? Kristos was about to sheath his sword without saying a word about it. Syrus didn't really care much about Alex either, but it was the principle of what had happened that bothered him. Syrus walked over to Kristos and held Aludra out from his side. Kristos's hair began to show signs of friz, clearly he was over excited. "Hey! Why don't you try some that on me ice man? You seem eager to fight, how about fighting with someone around your own skill level." Syrus exclaimed, pointing his broadsword in Kristos's direction. "Mr. Cainun, please. Try to calm youself..." Instructor Shavers asked, but to no avail as Syrus only approached closer to Kristos. Kristos looked at syrus with a half concerned half angered look on his face. 'Hm, this is the one the Instructor should have gotten to begin with. Not that weakling...I must calm myself down for this opponent however...' Kristos thought to himself as he put Zenjiga closer to it's sheath. Syrus saw this and thought Kristos had meant to sheath his sword. He violently swung his broadsword horizontally toward Kristos's face, forcing him to move his sword quickly and guard against Syrus's blow. Kristos caught his footing after being pushed a few inches from the impact of the strike. "I guess we should begin." Kristos said in a quick and serious tone. He applied pressure against Aludra to hold his footing, but Syrus was exceptionally strong. "I hope you remember what I told you last night! Let's see just how impressive you can be." Syrus said as he pulled his sword away and went to sweep out Kristos's legs. Kristos quickly reacted and jumped over and extended his katana out toward Syrus's side, but it was evaded as Syrus swung his leg outward to give him enough room to redirect his body. Syrus came back with the blunt end of his broadsword to guard against any possible incoming attacks. Kristos refused to comply but the second part of Syrus's method of engagement was a sharp upward swing, as he turned his wrist to connect with the sharp side. The sword brushed the clothing on Kristos's shoulder but failed to create a wound, Kristos backed away but formed a small palm sized icicle in his left hand. He waited for Syrus to return his sword to his side and flung it toward the side of Syrus's head. The icicle was dodged, but merely served as a distraction so Kristos would charge forward and begin a barrage of slashes with Zenjiga. The clanging sound of metal against metal filled the room as Kristos backed Syrus up toward the middle of the training grounds. Kristos began some artistic lookin swings trying to coax Syrus into taking advantage of what would seem to be an opening. Syrus knew better and stayed on guard knowing that Kritos was a crafty fighter. "Not bad...still not good enough to beat me though. If Strom can't beat me, someone like you definitly wouldn't be able to!" Syrus said, hinting the closest to a compliment he would say toward his academy rival. Kristos narrowed his eyes at the remark, clearly thinking he was being severely underestimated. Another thought ran through his head telling him it was just taunts from his opponent in an attempt to rile him up even more. Either way, the battle was well under way. More thoughts raced through Kris's head about what had happened to his nurse friend. He figured the only way he could be even more intent on defeating Syrus would be if he was a wind magic user. "You'll find your words meaningless in this battle." Kristos exclaimed as he split one large icicle into 5 within his palm and threw them allowing them to spread vertically. Syrus guarded with his broadsword, as all 5 shattered on contact the the blunt end of it. Syrus grinned from behind the guard of his sword, feeling exhilirated from the fight. Syrus knelt to the ground all of a sudden in the middle of battle. Kristos watched on with his sword at the ready. "Very good, now I'd like to show you some of my magic." Syrus said, as he pressed his hand to the ground. Instructor Shavers saw this and protested aloud. * * * * * "Mr. Cainun! The damage reducing field is not up at this time, and your spell has the potential to cause a considerable deal of collateral damage! You will stop this instant, the both of you!" he said in an official sounding voice. Syrus was already in his zone at that point though, any other situation he would have listened for fear of what would happen to his future as a Risk Breaker. But this was the lapse of judgement he was known for when he became agitated. The ground shook a bit, hardly noticeable but it was part of Syrus's spell. Kristos began casting a bit of his own magic, as he slowly began to encase Zenjiga in ice, extending it's reach considerably. He squinted his eyes and charges toward Syrus to interrupt him before he could conjure whatever it was he was trying to. "Too late! Flame Viper!" Syrus yelled as the ground burst inches away from Syrus, and the immense serpent shaped fire jetted out stopping Kristos's charge. He swung his sword but the heat from the viper melted the ice extension as it ran it through on it's way upward. The extend of the flame reached the roof of the training room, which was considerably high, perhaps around 35 feet from the floor to the ceiling. Kristos eyed the flame structure and gritted his teeth. Syrus pointed his hand as the flame propelled down from the sky and went to spear Kristos like a battering ram to a castle gate. Kristos reacted as quickly as he could and formed a giant, think panel of ice to serve as a shield. The flame hit the shield hard and sent Kristos flying back all the way into the wall before the viper split itself away revealing the shield completely melted by the time Kristos hit the wall. 'Damn him and his pride, such an impressive achievement that fire snake of his is...but now i'll show him the true art of elemental mastery.' Kris thought to himself as he wiped his forehead from the increased sweat caused by the heat of the flame viper. Kristos grinned himself, actually starting to rather enjoy this bout between he and Syrus. "Ha, hope you're not smiling because you think you did a good job guarding against my attack. I held back it's power significantly...afterall, without the damage reducing field I could have killed you." Syrus explained. * * * * * It was then another student walked in to the training center, she walked by a group of medical students tending to Alex. She looked up and saw Instructor Shavers looking intently at something on the training grounds. He seemed to be in a rather annoyed and impatient mood. She walked up to him out of curiosity, wondering what was going on. "Instructor! Is everything all..." She stopped herself mid-sentence when she turned her head to see Syrus and Kristos facing each other, both seeming worked up. It was obvious they have been fighting, there was also quite a bit of damage done to the room. "Oh my god, Syrus!?" she said in a surprised tone. "Oh? Ms Tyriest, i'm sorry but this isn't a good time. These two have been going at it for quite some time, I'm about ready to step in if things get badly out of hand." Shavers said, noticing Monique beside him. 'What's this all about!? Why is Syrus fighting Kristos?' she thought to herself, watching on herself. Kristos began to walk forward, staring intently at Syrus's confident and grinning face. He went to move his left hand and only then noticed the pain. He glanced downard at it and noticed it was badly burned from trying to guard against the flame viper spell. Kristos shook it off and tried to ignore the pain as he held his sword out infront of him horizontally with his good hand. He stood still for a few seconds, as Syrus watched on waiting for is next move. "Come on Kristos, is that all?" Syrus taunted. Kris concentrated hard as he began to form a panel of ice infront of him. Syrus took notice and began to run toward him intending to break it before he could finish his spell. But the following panels assembled too qucikly cutting Syrus's path off, then soon after his retreat and both sides. The ceiling finished the structure as Syrus found himself within Kristos's Shattered Reflection spell. Kristos's eyes remained focus as he was fully intent on paying Syrus back for before. 'Ha, i've seen this spell before. The ceiling is meant to shatter and injure me, but there nothing a little heat can't do to fix my situation here.' Syrus said in his head as he pressed his hand against the back wall of the "house of mirrors". He began to focus a great amount of head, emitting from his hand to melt the ice wall. The wall proved more durable then expected, as it was quite thick and well imbued with strong magic. Syrus narrowed his eyes and considered a plan b, which was to thin the ice enough to atleast be able to slash it through and break it with Aludra. 'You may try, Syrus Cainun...' Kristos thought to himself, as he readied his sword. Syrus continued to heat the side until it appeared thin enough. He would just use the flame viper again if he didn't need more time then he wished to spend in order to break out of Kristos's spell. He clutched his sword's hilt and reeled it back behind his back. 'Nice try Kristos. But you won't catch me with this ice trap!' Syrus thought to himself as he swung his sword forward. Kristos raised his left eyebrow and motioned with his sword inward, and all of a sudden the very wall Syrus had meant to break through shattered into pieces, sending thin shards of ice flying toward Syrus's direction. Syrus got his sword up to guard him as quickly as he could, but he felt his right cheek being sliced by a few shards. The debris from the ice crashing into his sword cause him to close his eyes, but the pain from his cheek let him know that he sustained exactly 3 shallow, yet sharp cuts. "My god! SYRUS!" Momo screamed out, running out toward the field. Instructor Shavers grabbed her arm and stopped her though. He looked her and shook his head, and motioned with his eyes for Momo to look closer toward Syrus. Kristos charged in with his katana outstretched, ready to take advantage of Syrus's lack of knowledge of the complete workings of the Shattered Reflection. He reached the mirrors as Syrus violently swung his broadsword across crashing through the remaining mirrors, their swords met again in a loud clash. Kristos tried to supports his right hand with his left but was unable because of the burn. The mist from the ice cleared and Syrus's bloodied face came into clear view, as well as his eyes which showed an enormous amount of rage. He overpowerd Kristos back with his sword and shoved him hard down to the ground. Kristos rolled and stopped himself with his good hand. "Son of a bitch...you think you're pretty damn clever don't you!?" Syrus yelled as he winced from the pain. "It's your own mistake for underestimating me. I could have done worse, trust me." Kristos retorted. "Yeah!? Well if you think that first run in with my flame viper was everything I had to offer, allow me to show you how much more I can do!" Syrus yelled back. * * * * * It was then yet another student walked in, looking for Instructor Shavers. This time a male student. It was none other then Strom Vanguard. He had came from his last class, looking for a way to calm his nerves down from the encounter with his professor. "Instructor, I wanted to ask if you would allow me to..." "Mr. Vanguard! Now really isn't a good..." Instructor Shaver's was interuppted by a stray shard of ice that seemed to fly off course as it sliced across his arm. Shavers clutched his arm as Strom ran to see to him. "Instructor!" Strom yelled, as he looked over at the battle field. "Jesus, what in the worl' is goin' on here! What do you guys think your doin!?" Strom yelled out in an angered tone. "Stay out of this, rainbow! It's none of your concern!" Syrus yelled back, without moving his focus from Kristos. Strom narrowed his eyes and grew angry from the comment. "This is it, I must step in and stop this. It has gotten way out of hand!" Shaver's said, standing up. Strom stopped him though and placed his hand behind his back onto the hilt of one of his blades. "No instructor, please treat your wound. I'll stop this myself." Strom said as she ran onto the training grounds. Momo tried to stop Strom but to no avail. She watched on, wanting to get involved herself just to help Syrus. She didn't want him to get seriously hurt but she knew Syrus would hate it if she interfered. ooc: I seem to have something going on lately with getting motivation half way through my posts and them coming out quite long, lol. I leave the continuation in the hands of another. Hope this is alright with you, Engel. Engel
Kristos took the time while Syrus was yelling to run at him. Syrus ran back, angered and ready to strike Kristos down, but at the precisely right moment, Kristos leapt up into the air, freezing a pane of ice under his feet and jumping twice. He grinned wickedly and formed a series of stairs from the panes of ice, walking up on all of them slowly. "Oh, deary me. What're we going to do with you? You burned my hand. If we were mortal enemies, I'd of sliced your throat with one of these shards already. I HATE IT how all of you stupid bastards underestimate me because I'm younger than you, because I'm different. You don't get it, I wouldn't expect you to!" Kristos whispered, his voice rising into a yell. Suddenly, he dissapeared from Syrus's sight as thousands of countless panes of ice flashed up around the entire arena, encasing each and every one of them. "Launch a fire attack, I dare you!" Oh hoh, this was bad for Syrus. When Kristos got angry, Kristos threw away his rules of using only what you need to to survive, going to whatever would either severely wound or decimate an enemy entirely, no matter the risk of harm to himself. Kristos's thin face split into a sly smile as Syrus launched a blast of flame at a section of ice panes. They were slightly melted, but new ice immediately reformed. "What...the hell? My fire should be hot enough to melt that ice without a problem..." Syrus thought, losing his concentration for just a split moment. It was then that every single thousand pane of ice shattered into ice shards, circling around Syrus. "Thank you, oh so much, Syrus. This is what happens when you fuse the most basic spells of Support magic, like Regenerate, with a stationary attack. You're really talented, really, I'll give you that. But do NOT underestimate the top student in the Ice magics!" Syrus scowled and began to build up a blast of fire, ready to launch off another Flame Viper at him. The blast was absorbed by the pannels underneath Kristos as he looked down at Syrus seriously, muttering something under his breath. As the millions of shards began to rain down, a barrier of ice formed around Syrus, and they all slipped in, stopping one milimeter from his skin. "Give up, or be defeated, Syrus! You were a good opponnent, but such a fighter like you should know when he's outmatched! And when I get fuckin' angry, I get fuckin' angry, and I've been agitated ever since some snotty Air magic bastard snapped Carolyn's back in half!" OOC: I hope this type of using the panes of ice is alright. It's still using the ice, but as platforms in the air and such. And the little combining Support and Ice magic just seemed...cool. =

Riku
Thursday, 34th of Estembre 3:10 PM "Very good, Miss Skye... and that, class, is how you can make your Cure Magi even stronger," the teacher said to everybody, then smiling and nodding at Aizen, asking her to sit back down in her desk. Aizen was a little late for her class, but Instructor Kaya understood that she wasn't the type of girl to skip classes on a normal basis, so she let it pass by this one time. She taught them how to combine the Magi Element that was in their favor with Cure Magi, unleasing a bright glow that would heal anything that they wanted. "In battle, it's not just the strongest or the fittest," Instructor Kaya continued, holding a textbook in hand, "but also in the mind and heart because without those, no one could ever win a battle they are faced with." And with that, she told everyone what their homework was and allowed them to have the rest of the class time to do whatever they wanted. With small cheers, the class scattered all over the huge room, talking amongst themselves or just falling asleep on their desks. Aizen collected all her books and put them in a neat order, wanting to test her new healing magic on a half- dead plant that was in a corner of the room. As she got up from her desk, starting to walk over to the plant, she saw from the corner of her eye that Miss Kaya had called her over to her desk. Without making a fuss, Aizen quickly trotted over to her, wondering what she wanted to talk about. "Miss Skye, I must say," Instructor Kaya started, smiling her nice smile at Aizen's face, "the fact that you got this new technique so quickly is remarkable. Good job, my dear." "Thank you very much, Miss Kaya," Aizen replied, bowing low to her instructor. As she looked back up, Instructor Kaya was leaning her elbow on the desk and gently putting her head on her hand, gracefully crossing her legs and moving it slowly. "Umm.. Miss Ka..." "Don't think you can fool me like that, Aizen," Miss Kaya playfully replied, a small smile creeping across her face. "I know that you've grown so much this past couple of days... and don't think I haven't seen you talking to Kristos and Syrus a lot lately..." Aizen's eyes slightly widened with surprise, her face then beaming bright red and angled at the floor, causing Miss Kaya to giggle with amusement. "You know, you aren't that different from me when I was in this school so many years ago," she suddenly said, "I was just like you when I was your age: quiet, timid and so horribly nice." "Really?" Aizen perked up, wanting to hear what her mentor said. "Oh yes, my dear. I always was made fun of because a lot of the gir...." "Instructor Kaya!" Another teacher had run into the classroom, a look of seriousness across his scowled face. Miss Kaya slowly stood from her desk, standing beside Aizen and placing one hand on the surface. "Yes, Instructor Raphael? What is it?" "We need you to come quickly!" he replied, still trying to catch his breath, "three students have gone out of hand we need your help to stop them!" She sharply nodded and headed out the door, but before she looked back, she met Aizen's eyes with her gentle blue ones. "Miss Skye, I'm sure you could help me out a lot more than anyone else can... please come with me." "Yes, mam'm!" Aizen quickly replied, running towards the door to Miss Kaya and walking down to the Training Center where everything was falling apart. ~*~ 3: 21 PM The three finally got inside the Training Center, where a whole crowd of students and even teachers gathered around, watching the fight go on endlessly. Instrctor Rapheal and Kaya asked the people to mave back as they got through, with Aizen behind Instructor Kaya and wondering what was going on that was so hectic. "Excuse me... move please," Instructor Kaya said to the people, trying to get to the front where she could see everything going on. Finally, when Aizen and herself got to where there was other adults blocking the students from moving any further, she walked up to another Instructor whom was at a loss of what to do. "Instructor Shavers, what in the world is going on here?!" Shavers looked around at Kaya and slightly nodded to her, then continued to look onto the fight. "Well... this started with Kristos wanting to spar against Alex Gleason," he replied, crossing his arms, "but that didn't turn out very well..." Aizen gasped and looked around, trying to find him, then seeing him unconcious and surrounded by a professional medical team, mending his wounds and borken bones. "Alex..." she whispered to herself, covering her mouth with her shaking hands and wondering what had happened. "I can't believe Kristos would do something so bad as this.... what's going on with him...?" "Alright... but how did Syrus and Strom get involved in this?" Kaya replied yet again. "Apparently, Syrus is a friend of Alex's and just lost his temper, while Strom just walked in on his own, entrapping Kristos in a barrier of ice that it seems he can't get out of..." Hearing this, Aizen gasped and turned her body in place where she could watch the fight going on. Instructor Shavers was right: Kristos was entrapped on the floor with ice enrapping around his body, his face angry and stressed, trying to get out of his cage. She looked a little to her left and saw Syrus with his sword to his side, readying for the final attack and finally, she saw another boy with water entrapped his hand, readying his final frontal attack also. She quickly realized that they were about to finish Kristos off, probably going to wound him and leave him in the Infrimary. Without thinking, she yelled at the top of her lungs, causing everyone in the crowd and even in the fight to stop and turn in her direction. "No! Syrus!! Don't hurt him.. please!! Don't do it!!" she yelled, "It won't make you a winner in this battle!! Please, don't do it! Please!!" Syrus looked at her for awhile, but turned his head back and started towards a stressed Kristos, his blade and Strom's water magi ready for the final leathal attack. "Go, Syrus, Go!" A girl with long black hair cheered. Aizen had realized it was Momo, whom she had met before and saw her walking around with Syrus. Aizen gasped and cursed her helplessness that she had in this fight. She felt a hand resting on her shoulders, causing her to turn her head and see Instructor Kaya looking at her sternly. "So, I see you know one of these boys?" she asked her. Aizen slowly nodded her head, "Yes mam'm, but I don't understand why he would want to hurt Kristos so badly...," she paused and looked to the ground, then turned to Miss Kaya and grabbed her hand, a worried expression across her face. "Please, Miss Kaya! We have to stop them before they do something terrible!" Miss Kaya slightly nodded and gripped Aizen's shoulders gently. "Aizen... you're a user in Wind Magi, are you not?" Aizen quickly nodded, wondering what she meant by that. "And you can control your magi to do anything you want, correct?" Aizen nodded again. Miss Kaya nodded and sternly told her what her idea was. "Then, Aizen... you're going to have to stop them. Use your wind magi to cause those two to stick to the wall and have them stop what they're doing." "But... Miss Kaya..." she faltered, knowing that she would probably hurt the two boys. "I know that Syrus is your friend," Miss Kaya quickly replied, "but if you don't, then you will probably lose two friends all at once. Do you understand?" Aizen let out a deep sigh and nodded, turning towards the fight and walking to where she wanted to steadily place herself. She gently lifted her hands in front of her body and raised them to her mid- level, causing Syrus to look at her with confusion. "Aizen... wait, what are you doing?!" he replied, scared and confused at what she was about to do. "What... what the hell?!" Strom replied, looking at her. She eyed Syrus with a sorrowful look in her eye and quietly mouthed her apology. "I'm sorry, Syrus... but I have to." And, without a moment lost, she closed her eyes and unleashed a strong gust of wind from her palms, causing her uniform to wave around in the gust of wind and the people watching to hold on for dear life. Her wind magi got stronger and stronger, causing Syrus and Strom to try to block the wind, but becoming futile as the slowly slide backwards from the winds strong currents... then pushing them hard enough to throw them against the nearest wall, bouncing against it and whincing from the pain they had to endure. Aizen turned her head quickly, not wanting to see their faces in painful agony. She looked at Kristos, who was strongly secured and safe in the icey cage. His hair was blown around and messy, but he was okay. Finally, Instructor Kaya walked up to Aizen and placed her hand on her shoulders, telling her to lighten her wind magi a little just enough to keep the boys stick to the walls. The people around the room murmured about the astonishing feat that Aizen had just done and wondered why she was so timid yet strong. Instructor Kaya then crossed her arms over her chest, other Instructors also surrounding her with Aizen on the side, her palms still open and raised with wind magi clinging the boys to the wall.
