Many centuries ago, there existed a being. The name of this being is unknown to the mortal world, lost to the tides of time. It was a creature of unimaginable power, but although it had that level of power, it had helped the people of its home instead of ruling it.

But one day, newcomers from the far side of the world came. They knew nothing of the creature or its power. Seeing it as a new threat within these people, the newcomers assaulted the being. Upon being attacked, the being became enraged. It began to slaughter the newcomers, along with the people it used to protect and help.

For many years, the being caused chaos throughout the world, the people that were left naming it 'Chaos'. Many brave warriors had went to fight Chaos, but to no avail.

But one day, the ancient protector race of echidnas, called the 'Guardians', banded together to stop Chaos once and for all. Using a mythical ritual, they trapped Chaos' power within 8 seperate stones, one of them being the largest and holding in most of its power.

The Guardians had finally defeated Chaos, but alas, at the loss of most of their kind. The ones that were left had then swore an oath that for the rest of time, they would protect the gems that entrapped Chaos, giving the jewels the name 'Chaos Emeralds'. They were kept in a chamber, along with the largest jewel, the 'Master Chaos Emerald', which was to be protected night and day, for fear that Chaos would once again awaken, or worse, to have thieves and rogues steal them and some how tap into their power...



For many years, the ancient echidna race kept their oath to protect the emeralds...until that day that would change the fate of their race, the emeralds themselves, and all of Mobius.....



It had been many years since Matthew had last visited his old home. Way too long in his opinion. As Matthews space ship came closer and closer to Mobius' atmosphere, he began to think about his look-alike uncle, Tails. How wonderful he'd be to see his nephew again, although they were only a few years apart...

When he had landed, an unexpected group was there to greet him: Tails, Knuckles, Sonic, Amy, and someone else he didn't recognize. As Matthew stepped onto the grassy plains of the Great Forest, he felt a remembrance of his old home.

Knuckles came up to him, shaking his hand. "Long time, no see, eh Matt?"

"Ha, you betcha...whats it been? Six or seven years?"

"It has been six, you lunk head!" Tails blurted out. Matthew didn't recognize his now adult uncle until he seen the two fox tails coming from his backside. "You sure take after your father, thats for sure!"

"HEY! All Saiyans are NOT stupid...they just aren't as intelligent as other races."

Knuckles laughed at Matthews remark. "Come on guys. Lets head under shelter...looks like its gonna rain soon."

As the group walked away from the sitting ship, Knuckles glanced over at the Chaos Emerald around Matthews neck. His entire body tightened as he sensed that the emerald had awakened...

So you all know, this story takes place in an AU (alternate universe) of Sonic The Hedgehog. It will mainly focus on the unwraveling of the history of the Chaos Emeralds, the link they have with the character Matthew, and end with the conclusion that will reshape Mobius as we know it...without further ado, here is the:

Race: (Hedgehog, Fox, ect. Matthew is the ONLY Saiyan blood character in this RP, by the way. It'll be explained in his 'History')

Age: Depends on the character, unless they are your creation. See below.

Gender:

Physical Description: Either give a typed description or an image. If it is an image, it cannot be an image of a character and then you explain that they look different, except if you are using that character and just adding a few details here and there.

Personality: This doesn't have to be too long, but give us a general gist of the characters personality. Must be MORE THAN 5 sentences long. The more descriptive, the better chance that I will choose this character.

History: A short little blip of your characters life. Dont make it too long, but DO NOT make it too short. Give us enough info on where he/she came from.

Abilities: In this spot goes any type of special skills you may have, whether they be magical, personal ability, or just something that your character can do. Please explain HOW they got that skill, as it will help in the character choosing process.

Here is Matthew

Name: Matthew Dimunsis Prower

Race: 1/2 Fox Mobian, Half Saiyan

Age: 19 (Physical Age: 14)

Gender: Male

Physical Description: Called a look-alike because of his uncle Tails, Matthew looks almost identical to the two tailed wonder-mechanic, save for a few specific details. Instead of orange fur, it is colored black on Matthew, with charcoal grey fur around his muzzle, stomach, chest, and on the end of his single tail. A scar going from 1 inch above his left eye down to 2 inches below the cheek bone exists. He has gleaming emerald green eyes, which will sometime look like they are shining when the sun hits them right. His usual attire his faded denim jeans, a sleeveless white t-shirt, Saiyan Combat Boots, and blue weighted wrist bands. Around his neck is the Green Chaos Emerald, a gift given to him by Knuckles many years ago.

Personality: Like most Saiyans, Matthew lacks in the intelligence department, but due to his Mobian heritage, it is nullified by great lengths. He has an upbeat attitude, usually joking around with his friends perversly and crudely a lot. Not one to take many matters serious, Matthew hardly seems like the one to fight. But the Saiyan blood coursing through his veins causes him to snap to attention and fight when needed. He never fights without reason, whether it be to protect someone, or just to spar.

History: Having been raised by Knuckles, Matthew never knew his parents. They were murdered by Frieza when Mobius was assualted by him, but under strange circumstances, Frieza had retreated. Matthew remembers the day his parents were murdered, although the only thing he remembers clearly was seeing a golden haired warrior staring down Frieza.

For the next 9 years, Matthew was trained by Knuckles in the martial arts and ki manipulation that was hereditary among Saiyans. During the day, he went to a normal school, but his afternoons and evenings were full of training from his harsh, yet concernced teacher. On his 12th birthday, Matthew decided it was time to leave Mobius in search of his parents murderer and also to seek further training, as Knuckles taught him all he could.

Matthews short journey led him to Earth, where he met up with the Saiyan warriors Goku, his son Gohan, and the Saiyan Prince, Vegeta. Over a span of 7 years he spent with Goku on Earth, Matthew had become much stronger and had learned a vast new repitiore of abilities, not to mention gaining a strong friendship with Vegeta, which many didn't see coming whatsoever.

Upon returning to Earth from Namek, thoughts of his own premature death haunted him due to the scenes on Namek. At that point, he decided to steal the Dragon Radar and hunt down the dragon balls. After he had found them all, which took almost 8 months, he began to ponder his wish. Matthew came to the conclusion that immortallity would be a waste, and that he had to die sometime. So, in the end, he wished for eternal youth, deciding that death by fighting or violence was better than dying by expiring. Unknown to him, this wish would come back to haunt him years down the road...[/size][/font][font=Arial][size=1]


It was only 2 years after the defeat of Cell that Matthew had told everyone he was leaving for Mobius. Not for good, but for a visit of a single year. Unbeknown to him, this one year would change his life forever.




[/size][/font][center][u][font=Arial][size=1]Abilities[/size][/font][/u][/center]



[font=Arial][size=1]Kamehameha Wave (Ki Based): A bright blue beam of focused ki energy. A very basic attack, but can be powered up to be Matthews strongest techinique. He learned it from Goku while they were waiting for the Androids.

Spirit Bomb (Ki Based): The strongest techinque Matthew has learned. It is a ball of focused energy taken from all living things around him. The more energy he draws, the larger and stronger the Spirit Bomb gets. Although he was taught by Goku, Matthew has never successfully pulled off this move.

Galic Gun (Ki Based): Vegetas answer to Gokus Kamehameha. Dark purple in color, this move can rival, even outmatch the Kamehameha Wave in power. It was taught to Matthew by Vegeta while they were training in space.

Final Flash (Ki Based): The second strongest ki based attack Matthew has. It is a focused blast of ki energy, brought forth by anger and rage within. A full force collision with this blast will most likely kill whoever it hits. For that, it takes a long time to charge, and also takes a toll on the user. It was taught to him by Vegeta in the Room of Spirit and Time.

Galic Gun-Kamehameha (Ki Based): The only ki fusion technique Matthew knows. It is a combination of the Kamehameha Wave and the Galic Gun. Being a dark blue in color, this high powered beam is very deadly, being a quick to charge and ready to use move. Matthew developed this techinique while in the Room of Spirit and Time.

Super Saiyan (Transformation): A powered up form of Saiyan legend. Matthew flashes a bright white as his body undergoes the transformation. In this form, he has spiky, goldish-blonde hair, similar to Vegetas. The charcoal grey fur on his body changes to the same color as his eyes become a turquoise blue. Matthew developed this technique in the Room of Spirit and Time after an altered dream sequence of his parents murder, which the dream was manipulated by King Kai at the request of Vegeta.

You should know this by now, but Adventure Square uses only one type of ratings in the game, that is [B]E/PG/M[/B] for target group and [B]M/L/S[/B] for questionable themes as defined in the [url=http://www.otakuboards.com/showthread.php?t=44318][COLOR=DarkRed]Adventure Square Basics[/COLOR][/url]. We'd prefer if members stuck to these short abbreviations and wouldn't use things such as age limits in the games. Remember that OB is meant for people over 13 years old, so putting a PG-13 rating is rather pointless.

I've changed the title for you, but remember this in the future, please.

Personality:She can can be shy yet quiet around a person like matthew or sonic.Yet cold hearted around thiefs and other things like that. If you piss her off the watch out cause she has got a bad temper.If you break her heart she will NOT speak to you ever again.She has a split personality as you can see above so she tries not to be cold hearted towards anyone except theifs and rogues but if she is she is very sorry.

History:She came from a planet that was nicknamed planet of shadows. The nickname was placed on the planet before she was even. So she never knew why it was called that or its real name. Her planet was attacked by theifs and rougues who destroyed the planet and took over. Her best friend and mother took her far away to mobius and stayed there.She was raised by her friends mother so she never knew her mother or father.

She was always with the popular girls and wished secretly she could have just one good frind instead of 10 fake ones.She became used to hanging out with the popular kids and got her 'i dont care' attitude.She went to school with matthew but had never payed much attention to him until the day she was ditched by her so-called friends. After she had talked to him she gradually began to crush on him. She waited by the phone for weeks but a call never same for her. She was heart-broken and swore that if she ever saw him after graduation day it will be too soon.

Not many people in high school wanted to be her friend and because of that she became mean and cold hearted until she met sonic. Sonic was nice to her and gradually she became nicer and nicer. Soon everyone wanted to be her friend and she was popular again but she never became the mean cold hearted person she was again. After she graduated from high school she went on a trip to her home planet with her friends mother's mother who was wiling to take her but she was horrified because her parents limp bodies were laying on the ground. She went back to mobius right away and joined the sonic group in some things they did. But she would never forget the awful day that she looked at her parents pain twisted faces.She went with sonic and the group to greet matthew and she recognized him but said nothing in fear that he would recognize her.

Abilities:She can use any type of kung-fu,Tye kwon do and karate. She is a black belt in all and there fore she has excellent martial arts. She can also go at speed of light(186 000 miles per second),Use andmanipulate lightning.

Physical Descripition: I'm pretty sure everyone knows how Tails looks so just imagine Tails with longer tails and a bit, just a bit taller.

Personality: Tails is a bit skittish, but at the same time he can portray an incredible amount of valor and courage, and he's also a bit of a wise guy but is pretty friendly.

History: Tails has always been the tech-head of the group and has a nack for creating awsome machines and gizmos, he's never been too much of the romantic type but has secretly had a crush on Amy for years until one day he finally confessed to her. He currently lives together with Amy in a little cottage by the beach.

Abilities: Tails has the uncanning ability to rotate his two tails at an extremly high speed allowing him to fly, he over the years has completly mastered this ability and can create a low category tornado.
