I figure that would put their arrival about a week after Crystal's and probably around four to six days after Kiva and Daego have left for sector seven.

No problems here either, especially since Daniel and William won't be arriving for about three to four days after the Conqueror and the Creator does. I figure that until they hit the border between sector six and one that William was traveling at full speed so they won't be that far behind them. Since his ship is faster than the flagships.

[COLOR=#DAA520]Now that we are in sector one I thought I should clarify the difference between the different security and Elite forces that keep getting mentioned. Just to help avoid any confusion.
[B]
Basic military:[/B] Deals primarily with planetary defenses on the ground as well as for the planets where the enslaved races are.

[B]Space forces: [/B]The part of the military that serves on the battleships and fleets of the Versilan Empire. This is the force that Fleet Admiral Stevens commands.

[B]Elite military:[/B] Deals primarily with the security for sector one, the main home world as well as for the Council Center. Those in the Elite military outrank those of the regular military and the space forces. Other than the main commander for the basic military and Stevens who commands the space forces. Currently the one in charge of all the Elite military forces is Elite Commander Ketch Dakar.

Elite Specialists & Task forces:[/B] Elite specialists are the ones who handle the most sensitive assignments through out the Empire and answer to no one but the High Council. The Elite Task forces provide direct security for the Council members, though on occasion so does the Elite military as well. Like the Elite Specialists, they only answer to the High Council.

Also, they do outrank all other military and security forces. Even their main Commanders like Stevens or Dakar.

[B]Internal security:[/B] Deals primarily with security for high ranking officials like Darren and other politicians on not only the home world but other sectors as well. This is also the force that those who are trying to kill Darren are getting agents into, in an attempt to get them in position to kill him.

Now there are other security forces as well, but they are usually local to each world or city. Those that I have listed are regulated by the High Council. They govern themselves for the most part, based on regulations set by the High Council, but any huge decisions have to be approved by the Council, like appointing Stevens. The previous Fleet Admiral could choose a replacement, but it still had to be authorized by the Council.

All right, I know I told you that I would have a post up indifference, but I've been caught up in researching what to do for my challenge in the Survivor game. So if you want to post first in regards to the Ball on Reflection go right ahead. Just be sure to leave any mention of either William or Daniel out of it since that would mess up what I have in mind.

Anyway, I promise that I'll have a post up in the next day or two at the very latest. I just wanted to let the rest of you know as well, since I haven't gone anywhere. ;)

That's going to be fun to write up when she hears about it since reducing anger responses isn't the same as making people not care. At least that's what she'll think. Oh she's going to be quite put out about it.

And speaking of the third research project, I find it amusing how my character works with the researchers so to speak and even I don't know what the third project is. Crystal knows more than I do! LOL![/COLOR]

Anyway, like indifference, once another post or two goes up I'll handle Darren's response. If the story has progressed to much I'll just make it a flash back of him remembering the moment Jared informed him. As well as when he found out about Erica and the modification.

Also, seeing that Stevens jumped on things pretty quick I'm assuming that riots are now happening all over the place. Hehe, and I just bet the High Council is less than thrilled at having their own forces turn against them. I hope I'm not the only one looking forward to some traitors in the High Council being found and dealt with. I know Darren won't feel sorry for them at all. lol

I find it supremely ironic that of all people Jared is being calm, but upon reflection it fits him. And I got the biggest kick out of Daego and Sandra. Daego since it's obvious he's still pretty angry about the research in sector fourteen, and Sandra's fit of rage was too funny. I got the impression that the fact that those [I]illegal [/I]modifications resulted in her being betrothed to Stevens is what upset her the most. lol

And though I feel bad for poor Darren, I look forward to seeing his reaction as well as William's since even though he already knew what Erica had planned, he didn't know that Daniel was going to be kidnapped!

Anyway...even though Takuya's post happened before mine, time wise in the story, the events in mine happened shortly before Stevens contacted Kiva to request her aid in finding Daniel and Kerstin as well as requesting that Erica be kept on her ship and having Crystal transport over twice daily to care for Erica.
