Hardest tests

So far in school we get tons of tests and I already see people stressing about them so my question is what has been the hardest test you have taken.

For me it would have to be this Asian test we took in class. The hardest thing about it was we had to name all the countries in Asia and after we listed the countries we had to list at least five of the cities inside of those countries. Lucky for me when that test was over I got an 86% on it, but that was on the retake. I mean my whole school did so bad on it she made all of us retake it. The first time I took it I got a 53%. You bet it brought my grade down a lot. I mean from an A+ to a B- . So if you have had any troubles with test like this tell us your story!!! :(

As some sort of sick joke my professor in Quantum Physics let us all try to derive the Schrodinger wave equation as the essay question. I don't think he was seeking tenure for much longer, as he already had a job in some company doing strong force testing. Anway, I've never seen so many students start crying... at least three broke down. One student vomitted in the trashcan, he couldn't make it out of the door.

There was a silver lining, the question wasn't for credit, but extra credit. I got stuck about halfway through, but I gave it an attempt. Some kids panicked so much that they didn't even try. You got full extra credit if you just attempted the problem reasonably.

Moral of the story: Always try to climb, no matter how high the summit.

My hardest tests came from a teacher who had a photographic memory. It was fun to take his class since he always had a lot of good information and could pretty much always answer your questions. But his tests were a horror to take since he couldn't seem to leave that ability of his to remember everything behind. The tests were just horrible since you could study like mad and never remember everything. I think the highest score anyone ever got on his tests was a 60 out of 100.

The only saving grace was that the tests only amounted to 10 percent of your grade so you could flunk every test and still get an A out of the class. But I still hated taking them. It just sucked to always get 50 or less on one of his awful tests.

Well I had this really hard math test just a few weeks ago. I'm in the 8th grade but yet I take Geometry. I know, I know it seems like I'm smart but I'm not that much really. Well anyways, we were on Chapter 4 and had to take a test. When we did, I did so bad on it that I knew my grade would be the worst. I got a 54% on the first time but we got a 18 point boost so it raised it up to a 72%. It really wasn't that bad but after I looked over the the questions that I missed, I really didn't understand any of it. But since the whole class did so bad on it, we had to retake it unless you got a 90% or higher. Most likely everyone had to retake it.

After I did the retake, I never really go the test back so I believe that I got an 84% or somewhat around there. But hey, at least I was able to pass without my parents finding out what I had go the first time. :animesmil

The hardest tests ever were given back in Ming China as government examinations. People who took the exams had to take bedding, food, water, testing supplies, and even a portable toilet to the compound with them, because they weren't allowed to leave their cubicles until they finished the exam. Not only was the test brutally long, it was both mentally and physically exhausting. People even died, but that didn't interrupt testing. The bodies were just thrown over the compound walls and left alone.

Gah, AP world history is a monster!

Speaking of AP world, the semester exam for that class was kind of hard. I guessed on most of the forty questions, and there were two or three full-length essays to write after the multiple choice part. I didn't quite finish the second essay, which had something to do with similarities and differences between trade endeavors in Africa and Europe, or something like that. I'm not really worried about it, though, I'll still pass the course even if I got a D on the exam.

Algebra tests in general are really hard for me, and Chemistry is no easy subject, either. It would probably help if I actually STUDIED, though. The only cramming I did for AP world happened literally twenty minutes before I took the test.
