Gaming Most Anticipated Games of '07

I'm so happy I've got a job because I just know that by the end of this year I'll be poor. Let's see here...

Too many games for a poor gamer.[/size][/font]

[COLOR=DarkOrange][B]Halo 3[/B]: I know a lot of people like to slander the Halo series, but I happen to be an extremely big fan of it, and would even consider Halo 2 my alltime favorite game. I don't care about the story, really, I just can't wait to get more Halo action, and this one's sure to be amazing. I only hope Bungie doesn't slack after their rediculous success. I trust them, though, cuz Halo 2 had a whole bloody ton of great stuff.

[B]Super Smash Bros. Brawl[/B]: I think SSBM was probably the game I've played the most of any game (If not Halo 2 or Phantasy Star Online) and I cannot wait to witness it's triumphant return. We only get one Smash Bros per generation, and if this one lives up to it's forefathers, it's sure to be one hell of a ride. I still haven't personally come fully to grips with the Wiimote, which worries me, but I'm sure this game will wash away any of my doubts.

[B]Tales of the Tempest[/B]: Alas! A DS game I may just enjoy (PLEASE come to America!). Tales of Symphonia is one of my favorite games, though I could never really get into any of the other games. From what I've heard, this game uses the same systems as TOS which will be great if true!

Also, whats the name of that Zelda DS game?![/COLOR]

If you want to have fun with Gears of War then you better not play it on insane. It will make you insane and you will hate the game for a week or so. Some of those achievements are deadly and you (probably) would want to do them. Just to warn you some of the spots just seem crazy. "I just want to let you know, no matter what happends out there, I with you... *cries*"

So, Halo 2 was a big upset for me and my brothers. I didn't like it at all, I'm not sure if I really want to play that, I know that it might be different. Thats exactly what I'm hoping for. I want some change in the game. If they don't change it I'm going to cry until my tears turn to fire.

I might tell you how Dead Rising is. I'm going to get it in a couple of days (thank God for netflix). So, I'll tell you then, okay?

I don't see any games that I want to play this year that has come up. I want a Wii so I can play the Zelda. I've almost beat every other one (I know most of the other people have also), but I just want to actually beat all of them, ya know?
Besides that, Virtual Fighter 5 should be really fun (I'm into fighters as you will see). Gain some money from this game. Its supposed to come to the 360 a couple of months later than the PS3. On the subject of the PS3 they have a download for Tekken: DR (which started in arcades). So, I want to get a PS3 but just for one game? Thats absolutely not worth it!

FFXIII likely won't be anything like XII. The team responsible for XII isn't working on it. Instead, it's the same guys responsible for X and so forth. Basically, it'll probably go back to the same type of style it always was. FF fans can continue to delude themselves into thinking the things done within the series are somehow new and innovative, as before. I don't think I heard enough about being able to switch characters mid-battle in FFX.

I'm agreeing with my Generic friend on this; Final Fantasy is well known for being a lot like previous games in the series and taking a lot of things and changing them around to label them as new. I'm not excited about that game at all and don't even want to get my hands on the end product.


With the Wii though; That is a different and cooler story. I mean, here are the games that are being released this year that I must get.

# Super Smash Bros. Brawl
# Sonic and the Secret of the Rings
# The new Dragon Quest game
# Fire Emblem
# A certain Konami RPG being released (Big fan of Konami games; Heres hoping that It is Suikoden 6)
# Prince Of Persia- Rival Swords
and many more; I can't wait for the releases of these games and I can't wait until I get the damn console.

Well I suppose there are a few console games I'm excited about.

Zelda - My brother has had it since Christmas, why I haven't played it is beyond me.
New Super Mario Bros. - Also beat it... great game.
Fire Emblem - Can't get enough of these games.
Gears of War - Though, I'm going to get it for the PC. Shhh, don't tell White.
An NHL 2K game for the Wii - I know one hasn't been announced yet, but come on? Hockey on the Wii? Booyaka!
Huxley - I am surprised no one has mentioned this one. There is alot of anticipation surrounding it.

I've played so much Halo 2 that I'm really sick of it, so I'm not really excited for the third one (though Halo Wars looks interesting).

Brawl- Melee was a fantastic game and I still play it. The super frantic speed and great character roster. Amazing game. Now Brawl has some awesome new characters and enchnaced graphics. This game Ill be playing for years to come.

DMC4- Seeing how the DMC series is my favorite game series. I really want the 4th installment. Nero looks like a great new character to play as and II want to see how they encorprated Vergil into the game. Another game with outstanding graphics.

Unless there's been a confirmation, I'm not really sure if Vergil's going to be in DMC4, but then again, I haven't read that much about it.

Hmm.. To stay on-topic. For the most part, nothing right now until I atleast get a next gen console. Seeing that I wasn't really impressed with none of the consoles gaming line-up, there's only a little bit I'm waiting to see.

[b]Ninja Gaiden: Sigma[/b] - I didn't know about this until some time around November, (maybe October) and seeing how my brother sold his Xbox has made me pretty much bored with all my other games since none of them are Ninja Gaiden. But to see this being ported to the PS3 (which I can't afford at the moment) with new gameplay has boosted my interest in the ps3.

[b]Devil May Cry4[/b] - Not much to really say, I enjoy most of Capcom's hack n slashers.

There's a game I'm thinking of... I know it looks incredible and I know it's highly anticipated... but I can't remember the name. It's Bio-something and it takes place in like a bomb-shelter under the ocean that was built in the 30's, but then there was a leaking of radioactive kagiggers turns them all into mutants and stuff... and then you go down there and start, like, killing them for whatever reason. Looks really cool, anyone know what I'm talking about?

That's to bad, I actually had a feeling they wouldn't release on Wii but I've recently discovered you can buy 360 controllers for PC, so it looks like I will be playing on my new computer for my hockey fix. That's ok though It will still be interesting to see how a Wii hockey title will play.

Hey, I'm still waiting for the Twelfth Fantasy to reach our shores in February (stupid PAL-dissing Squenix), so it'll definitely be [I]my[/I] game of the year. Whether or not FF XIII (13) comes out by the end of this year in Japan, there's no chance I'll get my hands on it until much, [I]much[/I] later.

Other games I'm waiting for include FF V Advance and FF III DS (I'm gonna buy Nintendo DS for that), the only two main FF-games that I haven't played. I don't think I can afford any next gen platforms this year... :/

That's all I can think of at the moment. FFXII finally get released here in Feb and PS3 gets released in Marcg. Already preordered my copy of FFXII but till that's released I'll be spending more of my time and money on the WoW expansion being released next week.
