I enjoy going deep into poetry that doesn't restrict my amount of words, not bashing Haikus or anything, as i like them very much.

[font=Century Gothic]I'm glad that the duelists took their mission so well, and I especially respect Kathy's words that she won't post the thread just for this game, but for the greater good of this place.

I've read through both of the suggestion threads, and the amounts of replies in both of them is really nice - it means they both hit the spot.

However, there is a clear winner in this duel. Shy's thread wasn't even nearly as current, constructive or valid as Kathy's. To be frank, the whole deal with Naps the Cat, and what it lead to, sounded more like a joke. I honestly thought it was a joke at first, until I finally got your point. Even then, the fact that [I]you[/I], of all people, complained about overmoderation was kind of absurd. It doesn't help that evidence points towards Naps the Cat actually being Tony.

Kathy, on the other hand, had a clear structure in her thread, and all three of her suggestions were to-the-point. Excellent job, Kathy, you have earned [color=Gold]the Sunflower's[/color] their first point, bringing this challenge to a tie!

[COLOR=goldenrod]All right! :catgirl: I finally finished and my pictures are ready! So without further ado I present my diorama! Explanations for the process will be provided. Also, since they are large pictures I will be presenting them in links to avoid stretching the layout of OB.

Now as you can see I have built an arena representing this very game where only one will survive. A true test of Survival and well suited to the theme requested. ^_~

Picture one is a grand shot. On the right is the Sunflowers and on the left is the Aces. Between them is a pit of spikes with two platforms where the current contestants are dueling. Those around them on the spikes are members of previous teams who have fallen. And yes those are real nails/spikes and the eggs are impaled on them. Ouch! Picture two and three are side shots so you can see the opposing teams a little better.

Now to create this I took real eggs, poked holes in them and blowed the contents out. Two dozen to be precise. Then after letting them dry for a day or two I painted them using acrylic paints. Team colors and the team colors of the previous teams. While the paint dried I cut the box and made the bed of spikes as well as the bench for each teams and collected characters to be spectators of the event. On the right the grand prize is a Hummer. The event is hosted by OtakuBoards and each team has sponsors as well. Since I figured that like the real Survivor each team should have sponsors. :p

The balcony is of course staff members, starting from the left we have James, Dagger, Charles, Panda, Des and finally Sandy standing on a little podium shouting DUEL!!! Though underneath that is a P.S. I'm the devil! Mwahahahahahaha! And yes Des is betting $50 for me to win. :p All of the little signs above them are bubbles representing what each person is saying. ^_^

My mom is saying Be careful sweetie! You Can do it! And SunfallE is countering all the other bets by saying Oh yeah? Well I bet $200 on Aaryanna! Since Des started it and White upped it by betting $100 on Zeke. So that's how that unfolded.

And of course Zeke and I have toothpick swords for dueling! :catgirl: And there you have it! Gods that was fun to make! Hehehe! ^_^[/COLOR]

[U]So, here the story goes:[/U]

There were these horrid mutant sunflowers that decended to earth, attempting to take over mankind. They destroyed cities, plunging us all into a terrible post-apocalyptic way of life.

But! there was hope for us humans. An underground army, known only as [B][COLOR=Red]the Aces[/COLOR][/B], were training to fight these Sunflowers. This picture captures the moment when a valiant team of five rose up, fighting these leafy beasts with bombs, arrows and bazookas.

It's a terrible world we live in.

[font=Century Gothic]This is [I]so[/I] not fair. I have to decide between these two magnificent dioramas, both of which were obviously made with time and dedication.

I find it a bit funny that despite the theme being "survival" in general, both of you connected it to this game. It's totally okay with me, as the outcome was suberb anyway.

In Bethany's work I really like the amount of detail and mixed materials. The egg-characters are cuddly (although you are missing a few contestants) and the setting is fun. I love the floor of spikes, too. ;D

As for Jamie's diorama, it has a great mood, the characters are gorgeous, and the sunflower monster is innovative. It's clearly the more stylish of the two, with a more consistent color scheme and technique.

However, and this is a really hard decision, I have to give the victory to Bethany, and thus [color=gold]the Sunflowers[/color]. Her diorama is a celebration of color and fun, and it really shows the essence of survival. Congrats, and thanks to both of you for your awesome input!

Pay attention to the concept of this rhyme because it's hidden.
Is it really? No, it's not. Did you believe me? I bet you didn't.
Now I ain't calling you guys dumb or nothing, I'm just going on a rant.
But I do wonder why you named yourselves after a [i]plant[/i].

Okay, I'm three stanzas in and I'm still eager to go.
I know the Aces are gonna win this, cause you guys are gonna blow.
Rach, you're ten years older than me, that alone must hurt.

[font=Century Gothic]Oh goodie, this is an even [I]harder[/I] choice than between Jamie and Bethany! You've both been just so great!

But there's a big difference between you two. White has more leet rapping skillz, his beat and rhythm is to the point, and he isn't afraid to break the formula every once in a while, which is refreshing and keeps up the interest. White's second piece is the edgiest of the bunch, which is good.

Rach, on the other hand, has the contents in control. He wrote about all the right things, including all the members of the opposing team, for example (something White chose not to do). As a "hiphop hater" he really stood up well against White's obvious experience in the field.

Alas, it's my job to choose only the other of you... *sigh* As much as I'd like to end this challenge and move on with the game in general, I'm going to have to give Tiana and Alexa a shot at the duel as well, because White, my man, your efforts brought the victory to [COLOR=Red]the Aces[/COLOR]!

Just follow the links I have supplied and read them with care, please.

Secondly, we here expect the best from our members, no matter what. The OB wants you to pay attention in English class because we look for a few things in everyone?s posts: grammar, spelling, a thorough and detailed reply and a post which everyone can easily understand without having to read it once or twice. This especially proves most important when you start off a new thread and people need the opening posts to be explicit in detail so they can join in the conversation and have fun. :-D

Also, posting a brand, ultra-spanking new thread just about yourself and that you?re new is something we Mods frown upon. That, instead, is considered spamming and we close threads just like this in a snap. *snaps* So, to make yourself OB friendly and to also let others know you are new, I suggest you join a discussion and introduce yourself in your post. That way, it?s much easier and everyone gets along better without any violence, maybe. If you have any further questions, just drop by a PM to myself or any other staff member here at the OB. We just want you to have a good stay here while making your posts non-spam and reader friendly, okay? *nods head* ^^

[B]Oldie[/B], as for a proper Mod Rod whipping, there are Mods here, so you don?t have to act as one, thanks. You should already know about this, since you?re already a known member here on the boards. When you do act like a Mod in a situation like this, you?re just adding more to the spamming, not helping; this just makes the thread more worse. So, please, any time you see something like this, instead of doing your own Mod Rodding, just contact any Moderator via PM and alert us that something of this caliber is going on. We?ll deal with it just as efficient and precise just as you did, so I?ll commend you on that point. ;) But anyway, next time, just do these tips here and also don?t forget that you used to new yourself a long time ago; your posts weren?t amazing either. I know that much, at least.

It's unique, it's you, and it just might work. The long post is a bit, well, [I]long[/I], and I bet you wouldn't have the diligence to always write such detailed posts (unless you did the old "copy&paste"-trick). So it's quite a read - entertaining, but somewhat off the point.

Now, Anomaly, it seems you took the traditional route of being short and precise, which is just fine and dandy. I and most of the other mods use that tactic as well; it's simple, easy and understandable. However, because of that, it's not a very unique way. I have to ask, would it really be the way "[I]you[/I] would handle the situation?", if you got to decide?

Both replies are great and working, and nothing to be ashamed of, but since there's only one winner in this duel, for originality and putting yourself on the table, I hand the victory to Keyblade Wielder, and [COLOR="Red"]the Aces[/COLOR]!
