Skye
I thought I'd take a shot at making banners and avatars, but I'd better warn everyone that since my current version of Windows doesn't support Photoshop, I am using MSPaint. I'd really like everyone's crit and comments. First, I'll start with my Rain On Fern series. :) Next Rain On Flower: What do you think? (I have one more set, but it will only let me upload 5 at a time.)
Muad'Dib
Very nice. Pretty, in a subtle sort of way. 'Natural' I guess. The extreme close up is pretty cool, and the picture quality is obviously pretty good. The flower ones do seem a little fuzzy though, or grainy rather. All in all, I think the Fern is better. The yellow's a little harsh, and the fern just looks cooler. By the way, there should be other programs besides Photoshop you can find, unless you're using a really old version, like '98. But anything after '98 should be able to handle something better than Paint.
Skye
I didn't like the flower so much either. ^_^ I made some more for this series. I'm going to use the last set.
Muad'Dib
Those are even better than the first two sets! I especially like the first one... I guess it's just the colors, but it seems to just... I don't know... blend. The spiderweb's really neat though, where'd you get the image? Still a little grainy, which I assume is from saving it as a .jpg in Paint, but that can't be helped. Very nice. :)
Cyriel
I'm very impressed by your work so far - everything is so beautiful to look at, and so peaceful. So far your Rain on Fern is probably my favorite, because they don't look like the same picture in different sizes. They have different images (or different parts of the image) in them, so they don't look identical. I love all the details that you're able to see in all of the pictures, and the water provides a refreshing quality to the natural feel of all your sets. Of course, on your first set you could do something to fix the border...as it's pretty thick and blunt - changing it to something similar to your other sets would probably suit it better. I haven't seen these kinds of sets on OB yet, so it's nice to see something fresh.
