[color=darkred][size=2][font=book antiqua]Docters handed tools back and forth as they operated on the person in front of them. They had randomly chosen one out of the group for more extensive expirimentation. Hours passed as they coninuted their work. One of the docters injected a syringe filled with a silver liquid into the person. Suddenly the patient's arm flew up crushing the doctor's neck with ease. Another doctor dosed the man with a sedative while the dead doctor was carried of and the others finished their work.

Months later two doctors stood before a window watching the hundreds of slaves work. They served as their guniea pigs and then worked themselves constantly mining all the time. Unfortuanbtly the man they had just operated on was being drug off into the maximum holding cell. He had become too unstable and was kill other slaves. Something they just couldn't happen. One of the doctor's tapped his pencil nervously. [b]"You remember that rumor right. One of our tests would turn against us and lead them out right. Well what if it is him?"[/b] The other doctor laughed. [b]"Get over yourself"[/b]

Three years later
Ashen dropped teh severed spine of the guard he had just killed and dropped it into an empty shaft. the doctors had stopped doing tests and all the slaves were somewhat back to normal only they had heightned sense and were somewhat stronger. Only they did something to him. He could feel something trying to get out. He had killed several of the strongest slaves like they were nothing and now he was an outcast, living on the flesh fo the people he killed. He was tired of watching the constanting beatings, rapings, and being worked to death. This year the slaves would uprise.

Hear you go bascially a group of slave traders began working poepl in an underground mine and slowly it grew. for several yeas the doctors figured away to enhance everyon. But they wanted to go one step more and the one they did test one was said to go insane and disappeared from the holding cell. They vowed never to do the test again. For three more years they worked the slaves to death. The guards merciless and doing what they want with the slaves who have no choice but to do what they said since the guards usually travel in large groups and are modified as well. But soon the Mines will become the next place of an uprising.

Personality: Gorwing up in the mines has made her cold eharted adn crule, she is that way to anyone who she does not know or has not ever seen that does not look like a slave.
After getting to know her she is sweet and kind with a motherly air about her. Gentle and warm she gives aid to the injured and tells the children stories for bed.

Hidden power: She can shift the earth slightly, even cause a cave in at times if her anger gets to a high enough point.
Bio: Taken at the age of 5 from her parents who had a debt to settle with the people who owned their land she was then sold to the doctors for a slave. She grew up in the mines working herself to death going in for odd shots every week, they began to change her apperance slightly giving her eyes a strange red coloring. She noticed that after every shot her work got easier and she was able to fight the gaurds easier as well. She noticed that something was diffrent when a lone gaurd by chance decided to try his luck with her at the age of 10 and she was able to break his nose.
It was then that she began to fend for the others that were weaker then her and standing up the gaurds, it has gotten her into alot of trouble and she has the scars to prove it. Now at the age of 21 she is still fighting but the less people that stand up with her the more vaunerable she is and the more the guards can get to her. She is now being held captive in a holding cell by the doctors, she has heard them say that she is the strongest since 'Him'. [/B] [/FONT] [/COLOR]

[b]Personality:[/b] A man of few words and often seemingly cold and undifferent, his years in the mines took away his former sunny demeanor. Though he is often unfriendly towards other once he considers someone his friend he will assuredly keep the alliance and he was known to never leave a man behind... likewise once he considers someone an enemy he shows little mercy or forgiveness (and expects none in return).

[b]Appearance:[/b] Physically, he appears to be chronically sick: he is skeleton like in appearance, with shaggy and dirty brown hair. His face is also gaunt with large blue eyes that tend to stare into the distance.

[b]Hidden Power[/b] Despite his skin-and-bones appearance, due to the experimentation done on him his strength is comparable to the average well-nutritioned man on the street. His true forte however is the incredible speed and agility he now possesses and heightened reflexes that border on precognition.

[b]Bio:[/b] He was born as Niko Vilinov to a typical middle class family in a country that soon became embroiled in an all out civil war between political factions. As the war raged both sides became so pressed for soldiers that they began recruiting anyone capable of holding a rifle... including small children. That was how Niko, age 12, first became a soldier fighting in his country.
The war was long lasting and as he fought he became recognized as one of the most clever and skilled militants fighting in the war (and for his often sunny disposition and love for his comrades), especially amongst the 'Little Soldiers' he first served with. Eventually, at age 17, he commanded a platoon of the strongest soldiers in the war under his nom de guerre, Johnny Sol (chosen to separate himself from what he believed was the name of the child, not the soldier). However eventually he tasted defeat and was captured by the enemy and sold as slave labor for money to fuel their war effort.
After arriving at the mines, Sol began to change drastically with the experiments done to him. Though the drugs made him incredibly fast, through some anomaly the scientists couldn't explain his body reacted badly and he became chronically ill. This caused him to lose much weight, and become the skeleton like figure he is currently. The mines also turned him extremely angry, and now one of his foremost desires has become to snap as many of the guard's necks as possible. Even as he has become a nearly completely different person, Sol still retains, deep down, some of the love for his allies he gained fighting a bitter war.[/color]

[b]Bio:[/b] Ashen was orphened when he was young and was forced into the slace labor right then and has been there ever since. He was the doctor's favorite test subject. The last thing he remebers is breaking free and disappearing in the abandoned caverns.

Personality: Cold, Selfish, Doesn't care about respect and honor and Willing to sacrifice anyone for his own benefit. He believes that the slaves will be slaves as long as the mine stands or better yet while he is alive.

Widden Power: He can transform himself into a mechanical being including his body parts as well. He can also fuse with other machineries and become one with them.

Bio: He is the boss who runs the mines. Even before he was transformed, he had a cold heart towards the slaves. Seeing them as animals or even lower than animals, he forces them to work and work even though they can't and punishes them if they don't work. There was one time that death nearly struck him, but because of the enhancement drug he was able to survive but in return turned him that. Now he became more cruel to the slaves and with his order started those kinds of experiments. Due to lack of fundings, he stopped the experiment leaving the test subjects like that and continued the operation in the mines.

Personality: Very withdrawn, and shy usually. Her eyes are oddly hollow, and her face is almost as if it is made of porceillin, due to she never shows any emotions. the only time she shows anything is when she plays with her dolls. She seems very partial to fruits and cheeses, as well as aged apple juice

Hidden power: she has the ability to control inanimate objects, especially dolls. The limits of this ability are unknown. The experiments performed on her have no veritable effect, she does not even flinch as the doctors cut into her flesh.

Bio: She was captured from a luxury cruise liner attacked by pirates, she was playing with her dolls, covered in her own parent's blood, a deep slash across her back. She's never spoken a word since. Some say she's still tramatized, and the mines are an escape from her own horrid nightmares made of memories. Others say she's just a hollowed out husk of a human being. She was a never a worker, merely a puppet for experiments, until an outbreak of prisoners. She was taken long to be saved from the terrible evil that eminated through the mines. She was asked to help people, by the leader of the rag tg group. To everyone's surprise, she nodded, the first coherent motion she had ever performed. Truely, this little girl was an enigma, in the truest sence of the word

Personality: He is a kind and gentle soul. He is the one that is there for everyone and trys to help in any way he can. He is also the one that when the guards feel like they need to take their anger out on a slave, he is there to get in the way and let them take their anger out on him.

He had decided that he will be there in the end and he is the one that will always be there to help the ones that need it the most. The last thing he wants to see is anyone getting hurt or worse, even killed. He is the big brother icon, if you will, always trying to take care of everyone.

Hidden power: He has an uncanny ability to detect heat another other tempatures. He also has a small control over fire, which is growing stronger every day.

Bio: One day, the day before his seventh birthday, he was taken. His sister laid before him, a pool of blood around her. He cried, more than he had ever before. IT was his family. The only thing he had left in the world, and it was taken from him. He vowed revenge, but while he was in the mines, he lost what he held so close.

By the time he reached 18, he had clensed his mind, and forgotten about taking revenge for his sister. He even forgot why he was down there in the first place. What he does know, is this, after being down ther efor as long as he can remember, he wants out, and he will do nearly anything to do that.

Gender: Male

Personality: He's surprisingly good minded. On the outside anyways. He seems to be a completely normal man, good natured, clear headed, and overall happy with like. He often talks to random slaves in an attempt to cheer them up, but he usually fails.

On the inside ,however, he is a completely different person. He has hatred towards all, especially the doctors who experimented on him. He is a loner for the most part, but only because people avoid him as a result of his treatment oriented disfigurement.

Appearance: The tests used him to lose his black hair and one of the first shots he got was in the neck, it has badly reacted with his skin and made a large scare on the left side of his face. Hidden power: He has developed acute telekinesis, using manipulation of atmospheric pressure to move objects and create pressures i.e. a strong push, a cut, or a pull.

Bio: Growing up his life was incredibly well suited. He was free and gambling for the majority of it. In thus gaining mass profit and social status. He was on route to a business meeting three weeks before his 20th birth day then one of the engines burnt out in the plane carrying him and several other passengers.

The plane crashed into an open field and exploded, killing almost every passenger. Only Alex and 3 others survived. As the survivors pulled themselves from the twisted burning wreckage, a group of slavers happened to pass by. They were all imprisoned in the mine and tests were done on them.

Alex responded quizzically to the tests, he got minor appearance change and seemingly no physical powers. He chose not to show them his telekinesis and they decided he was a failure and he was to be worked to death as soon as possible to get rid of evidence they could not succeed. Alex handled the work quite well however, whenever no guards were present he would use his mind to break the stone apart with a mere fraction of the energy it would normally take.

Do to his well doing the guards have taken interest in beating him severely on there duties watching him. He knew if he used his powers to fight back he'd be tested on once again so he just took the beatings. Any plead to tell then who he really was ,was taken as insanity and fixed with more physical punishment. He currently seeks to return to his good life, and his dear wife.
