[color=darkred][size=2][font=book antiqua]Ashen Wathced the slaves work below from one of the windows in the building embedded in the side of the mining facility. Dozens of dim lights hung from the cave ceiling and troches burned every where. The sound of whips constantly being cracked against skin and bones echoed throughout the tunnels with the screams of pain following closely behind.

But he had other important things to do. He walked down the halls making his way to the maximum comfinment area. He walked up to where five guards wherestanding in the break room. [b]"Let me in"[/b] On of the guards laugh. [b]"Who do you think you are? We can't let you in here"[/b]

Suddenly the room went pitch black then disappeared with the guards in shreds. Blood covered the walls but not a drop was on Ashen. He grabbed the bars of the high security door and ripped it clean off the gently set it against the wall. He walked down to the only cell int he room. In the corner was huddled a girl with long red hair. Such beauty should not be locked up like this. [b]"Let's go Brigh"[/b]

The girl looked up. [b]"You want a piece to. The last guard went ack without any kids"[/b] Ashen opened the door and wallked towards her. Instantly her nails came right across his face. Ashen laughed as he ran a finger across the blood on his cheek and looked at it on his fingers. Suddenly his hand had her by the back of the neck. Hs fingers pushing on nerves making her unable to move.

[b]"What the hell"[/b] He tried to move as he hoisted her off the ground and dragged her through the halls. Two guards came around one of the corners and stared at Ashen with Brigh in her arms. [b]"How the hell did you get her to stay calm?"[/b] Ashen laughed. [b]"You have to show them who's dominate. After that they do whatever you wnt"[/b] One of the guards walked closer to Brigh [b]"Oh really"[/b]

Ashen removed his index and middle fingers from Brigh's neck as her hands suddenly snapped the guard's neck. Ashen lazily knocked the other into the wall and walked by. The alrams went off as he disappeared into the slave city with Brigh. When he had reached the center he let her go. [b]"Stay low until tomorrow. Gather others and meet me here"[/b]

Jake picked up his hammer and swung it around. He smiled as he saw other guards watching and looking around.His face went blank as he saw two guards walking over to a young girl. Jake slowly made his way over and then got inbetween the three.

"Come on guys, are you sure you want to waist your time on a girl like that? I don't think she is hardly worth your time." He smiled as one of the guards hit him in the jaw. As the guards walked away, he turned to the girl and smiled. A small trail of blood was going down his chin as he girl smiled.

"Thank you. If it were not for you, I do not know what they would have done." She wipped the blood off of his chin and then gave him a hug.

"No worries. You just try to stay out of the lime light, ok?" He watched her nod and then he went on his way, making sure noone else was getting hurt or worse.

Unknown to Ashen, Bryan was secretly watching him of his every move inside his office. His office was full of monitors showing the entire mine including every corner. He slowly leaned forward while observing a monitor showing the scene made by Ashen earlier and also what Brigh did. He snickered and rested on his seat. "This is gonna get interesting." Bryan said while smiling.

"Sir Bryan. One of the tests subjects have escaped from the confinement area." A woman's voice sounded on the pager on his desk. He then pressed the talk button and ordered his secretery to send out some troops to search the whole area for Brigh. "Also tell them if those slaves act suspicious dispose of them." With those as his final words, he released the talk button and went back to observe the monitors.

Lumiere lied on the metal table, her delicate frame somewhat frightening to behold, as she was strapped down, and all kinds of tubes and strobes were attached to her. She only looked into the light, as the doctors monitored her. In front of her, her little dolls played a kind of game, as if they were having a tea party. The test ended, and she was released from her bindings, to play with her dolls some more. The android watchmen simply blankly stared off.

"She's so strange.. as least the other patients screamed."

"Eh, who cares?"

"I do!! The at least give me some pleasure... this one is boreing." The doctor kicks her, and Lumiere goes flying into the wall. She slumps, before returning to her dolls again.

"Maybe I should break one of those things... at least try to get something out of her."

Lumiere simply paused, making the doctor's eye twitch. "Hm?"

The light above made loud crackling noises, before shattering.

"Damn!" The doctors reached for Lumiere, but the androids retaliated, smashing them to the ground. Lumiere stood up, and collected her dolls, before leaving the room. She gave a vague smile, but it was gone from her lips even before it formed. The androids began to shoot at each other. Wityh the silence, there is a deafening explosion, as the androids self destruct, rocking the compund. As she walks, guards run past her, she was nothing to be concerned with, she had always walked alone back to her playroom, where she was monitored as she played with her dolls. This appeared as nothing new to them...

She halts suddenly, and looks dead into the camera. She knew Bryan, the man who was behind everytrhing here, all the pain they tried to inflict on her, was watching.Her blank eyes revealed no intent of what she was about to do.She continues walking, and the camera explodes into thousands of peices, as do they all begin to, as Lumiere's mind began to follow the electronic currents in the wall. In the monitor room, Bryan was cursing, screaming into the speakerphone to catch and render Lumiere incapable of useing her powers... by any means neccessary.

But, evan as he screams loud and blatant death threats, Lumiere simply walks on, disabling cameras and androids, seemingly unaware of the chaos around her.


(alright, the surveilance systems are coming down, thanks to Lumiere, and i would assume it would be the most strategic usage of her ability... If I seem too powerful, please, let me know. however, this ability is very taxing; my next post she will be exausted.)

Bryan, after seeing his monitors go out one by one, started to calm down and laughed. "These fools really don't know where to place themselves." Before one camera went out, he saw the Lumiere's face. He then faced towards the door and stood up. He took his black coat on the stand and went outside his office.

The moment he walked out, guards started saluting him and everybody in the room stood up and greeted him. With all of a sudden, he grabbed the neck of one of the guards beside him. "Didn't I told you guys to capture them with all means nessesary? Who cares if those experiments die? We'll just have to conduct another." He then threw the guard to the floor and ordered them to go out and kill the escaping experiments.

As soon as the guards were out, Bryan braced his coat and went to his secretary. "How are the slaves are doing?" "Uhm... the slaves? they are..." the secretary stuttered. "What?" Bryan spoke in a authoritative manner. "They are beginning to resist the guards sir. It looks like they are planning something." "Is that so?"

"Inform me anything new, I'll be at my office." Bryan left her and went back to his office. After getting in, the secretary was relieved and went back to work. "If the mining area was just full of machineries then I could observe them more." He then sat on his chair looking at his arm turning mechanical with wires wriggling and returned it to normal.

Lumiere staggered, before falling to her knees. Her body screamed in agony, yet she showed no signs of fatigue, other than her raspy breaths. She stands again, and steadily makes her way to the mines. She looks around, watching the commotion. She turns away, closing her eyes. She sees a uniformed guard acting rather funny. She sets out to him.

Following him, she realizes he's leading her away. When far enough away, he whirls on her. "Who are You?"

She doesn't speak, as she never did. She cocks her head, as if ready to do something. The man notes her name tattoo, the barcode on her neck. "Lumiere, huh? The mute girl. Well, my name is Ashen."

The girl doesn't respond, other than rushing to him, clutching at him. "Um..."


She doesn't shout, she doesn't sniff, she falls to her knees, tears falling down her cheeks. "Please..." she spoke, her voice faintly above a whisper, "Please take me away." Then she faints
