Manga In Color?

A little more information on your manga would make it easier for people to give you a valid response. How about explaining what it?s about and how long it will be? If you are looking at a very lengthy series some people might find buying it in color prohibitive due to the cost. But if you are talking about a short series that?s less than say five volumes they might be more open to getting it in color.

Next time when starting a thread you need to put more into the opening post since simply asking a question that does not go beyond a yes I would or no I wouldn?t buy it in color type of answer border on being spam.

Manga in color could never catch on because it would lost that japanese feel to it. manga should always be read in black and white beside making manga in black and white is considerably cheaper. meaning companies can make them faster to be published to the people.

It's not true that all manga is black and white all the time. Manga in magazines typically have the first few pages in colour sometimes if it's a highly popular series.

As far as whether or not it should be in colour, if you feel that it makes a difference in how the story is told, then go for it. The manga can always be printed in black and white at a later date, as to be discussed with by your editor, if you so happen to get picked up by anyone.

Like I tell all the people I teach, "It's your story. Tell it the way you want."
