Just to warn all those who have posted I'm a very sick bastard in this rpg...so please dont let that influence what your thoughts of me are...im a very nice and understanding guy. Like i've said, there is an underground up for any questions or comments.

lol...ssshhhh! dont spoil the "surprise" lol

Yea im glad as well, I just hope more people start to actually view the freaking rpg and maybe sign up ;). It was unfortunate that I had to go to the hospital for surgery when the last season of this rpg started which I left in the hands of my brother...biggest mistake ever. So im hoping more will come so I can show off this rpg's "true colors"

Was your brother in charge of the season I was in?

I hope so, 'cause that would give me someone to be angry with that it ended so quickly. :catgirl:

I didn't see too much 'sickness' going down in season 3...except towards the end. I think I got a little 'glancing blow' there...

Oh, and (to Kairi)
you can't really keep the sicknes a secret as long as the search button is working
:animeswea

Was I even in season 3? O.o

I can't even remember. Perhaps I should go back and read. And I agree with Neko, you can't keep that mind of yours hidden for long Kairi. :p

Anyway, just as a side note, I'll be posting tomorrow Kairi (tomorrow my time, thursday night your time) because of time restraints [alas, yet again].

Sorry about that buddy.

Oh, I'm gonna use this thread to help coordinate 'events' in the story. Like, last season, there were multiple story errors at the dinner table because everyone kept doing the same thing (the master entering the room) only in completely different ways.

So, just as a heads up, when dinner starts, I would like to begin the dinner...proceedings after Kairi has seated us.

So, like, the idea is to make use of this thread to 'reserve' posts for important events. Does that sound alright to you, Kairi?

Please take note that Dante is now a young man...and not an old man anymore. I thought I had described him in my first post him being young, so I've corrected this :)
I guess I should have been clearer in my post. Since Sena was not close like everyone else, from his vantage point he was mistaking the silver hair and cane for one who was older, something that he would have realized later at dinner. Though he will still be confused once he realizes that your character really is young.

Nucifer: just to be clear on my post about Sutton and Eldorado Texas, it was just too perfect to pass up since one of the major polygamy groups here in both Colorado and Utah really did purchase some land down in Eldorado Texas back in 2000 to get away from the authorities here in Utah. And it is north of where your character is from and the town really is right next to the exit one would take from the interstate to get to Eldorado if one was indeed coming there from San Antonio Tx. ;)

Hullo again! I was just returning to submit another idea to aid the consistency of storyline, and also to help people figure out how close to important events the current time frame is.

I'm thinking maybe we could each include a time stamp at the begining of each of our posts, like, for example, opening up like this, somewhat:

6:30 PM, the Dining Hall

(insert the rest of your post here)

The last adventure I was in (Monster Academy), though it didn't get very far due to lack of interest, seemed to flow really smoothly under this format. It helped avoid people posting after each-other with events occurring before previous posts, and helped maintain a sense of how close something was to happening. Like, for example, the last stated time in our story was 4:55 (in Nefertimon's post), so we have about an hour timeframe before the dinner meeting.

Looking back on what I just typed, I feel like I'm sounding like I'm trying to control the way the story's run a bunch, which I'm not, and I hope you guys don't think I am.

EDIT: Oh, yeah, I forgot to ask, does everyone have the Underground thread favorited? It seems to be playing somewhat of a more important role than most Underground threads I've been involved in.
It is a good idea, the only objection I would have is if the time stamp locked another player out of doing a post that was before that time. Say if I had written something up along the lines of it being 6:15 PM and someone posted before me saying it was 6:30 PM.

It's fairly easy to simply edit your post to make any changes but to have to discard an entire post due to someone beating you to it would get rather annoying. Unless you mean for people to still be able to post indicating it was before your post. In which case I'm fine with that.

I'm glad to see most of you are using this tool for what is was created for :). Remember I am not in charge of these kinds of things; this is your rpg and how you want it handled. Remember im constantly evaluating your accuracy and efficiency in your writing, because if i do see problems people will be voted off so I'm glad to see most of you working with one another to make this work.

everyone has made some good/valid points and please work with one another...I will be initiating dinner and the events to follow soon so please be ready for your "card" posts.

Concerning the card posts, I imagine while some are probably not as bad as others...but what if the character is reluctant to do what the card says? Can it be included in the RP that the character does not think it would be a big deal if he lied about the card or even didn't do what it says? Or will the Master give specific instructions followed by consequences if they do not do what is requested? I figure there has to be some kind of given incentive for the person to cave in and do as the card says.

I've kind of wondered about that myself, in regards to the card posts. Or is that the nature of the game in that if the character decides to not follow the card, will the Master be the one initiating the punishment?

Or rather will you Kairi be the one to write what happens to our character in a post should we choose to not do as we have been instructed? Since the e-mail our character got indicated that something of equal value had to be sacrificed in order to not do as the Card says and I can't imagine the Master giving the person a choice in advance. Especially since you've referred to your character as being a sick bastard. :p

Regarding the cards, you as the characters will be writing your responses/actions towards the card that is given to you. You of course can decline to do the cards will, however remember the rules I posted in the Inn...so go read those. they will also be repeated when I post before i ask u all to open ur letters.

If you refuse your card I will PM you all what punishment you'll receive, or the actions I will take so that you can plan your post around that. I'll also be involving myself and my posts around that punishment.

This is all part of the game...the cards you all received...are nothing to what i have planned, and u always have a choice not to do them. however, there is always a risk of being punished, and/or getting voted off by myself and your other housemates. How do u think they'd feel when they go through with their cards, and u decline...this is a game.

So, just as a heads up, when dinner starts, I would like to begin the dinner...proceedings after Kairi has seated us.
So does this mean that you intend to be the first one to either do as your card says or as BKstyles mentioned:
Concerning the card posts, I imagine while some are probably not as bad as others...but what if the character is reluctant to do what the card says? Can it be included in the RP that the character does not think it would be a big deal if he lied about the card or even didn't do what it says?
Simply post along the lines of your character not following through?

Also I was wondering, if a character decides to not follow through are people still suppose to post what it said from the prospective of them reading it when they open it? Because part of my post will be Sena's thoughts as he is reading what it tells him to do so I was planning on including what the card actually said.
And I don't mean my character since Sena will be doing what his card tells him to do

One of the rules for this adventure was that you cannot divulge the information on your card to anyone, regerdless of circumstances.

Although, I think Kairi modified this rule to allow you to inform other contestants on the contents of your card via PM if your card directly involved them.

And what I meant in my earlier post was that I wanted to be the first person to post after Kairi made his entrance at the dinner table, which seems to be about now, so I'm gonna get to work on that. :catgirl:

I can hide most of it but part of it will be unavoidable as it's suppose to happen.

 • 2 weeks later...
Oi, I am so sorry but I'm not going to be able to post for a while -- I'm going to Arizona and California for quite a bit to visit family and such.

I'm really sorry that I won't be able to post; its up to you if you want my character out of the game or not.
