Anna Nicole Smith dead

It would appear the (in)famous celebrity, Anna Nicole Smith, died today at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. We have no idea why she died - all we know is she collapsed, a nurse found her, dialed 911, and she was then declared dead.

Of course, her mother thinks it was drugs. How original.

Now, personally, I don't care. I could care less about celebrity's lives, personally. I mean, they ARE regular people, like you and me, except they are freaking rich! What saddens me is that she dies six months after her own son. Now, her newborn daughter will never know her mother and brother, beyond the papparappzi.

Her mother and nearly every person, myself included who discussed it today in my high school. From what I've read on Wikipedia, quoted here, it seems likely that a drug-related death was the likely cause. I suppose it's sad after everything she went through.

Well, I didn't know Gavin was in high school! I assumed you were some college student or graduate, I forgot what gave me that idea.

Anywayz, yeah, I could've cared less about her. Then she suddenly dies one day, and all I got to say is, geez, that woman lead one turbulent life. I didn't see that one coming. I feel sorry for the kid she left behind. I think that the dispute about her late husband's money is still ongoing, would this mean that the money issue is settled for the other side?
I think he means that he's not obsessed with what happens to them every day, as opposed to just wishing they'd all die (an extreme case, obviously).
I figured so, but this person died and it's not an every day thing. If he doesn't care about it because they're just people, that'd be plain... wrong. So that was mainly what my comment was based on, but thank you for pointing out that his wording wasn't entirely fantastic.

Well, I can understand that someone would not care for a person's every day life - heck, we've got our own lives to live anyway. Until today I hardly even knew her. The thing that bothers me, is that this whole case gets all over the news. Yay, someone died! Quite a sensation, wouldn't you say? The suffering in the world lost it's touch, let's pull out the shiney artillery!
So, from that perspective I can understand the line "I don't care", as I truly don't care more about a doll who probably had an overdosis of drugs, than things that really can affect the world or the society.

Yeah, I'm repeating my last two years in high school again after dropping out three years ago, so I actually would be a college student if I hadn't. Though I guess this is completely off-topic.

You've got a point Boo but you're forgetting that news is built on celebrity controversy and Anna Nicole Smith was never far from it.

Its not like I don't care about about the fact that someone died. Its just that, whenever reporters report everyday occurrences of celebrities, I just roll my eyes. Because they are everyday people - I don't need to be reported that they threw up in public or something.

A possible "suicide" from depression, sure. But something just bugs me when these two people get compared. Anyone know of the conspiracy with JFK? Despite her Hollywood appearance, Marilyn was a very intelligent woman and Anna Nicole...(not trying to disrespect). Not so sure on all the details, but a little while before Marilyn dead, she stayed at the White House. She may had been a woman who know too much about something. This is were people get the idea she was assassinated in stead of suicide, plus i don't know what her motives would be for suicide. As for Anna Nicole, i am just hearing a lot of things about her baby and dead family members.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw that connection. Seems that Wiki now suggests that her death might not be as open and shut as it seemed originally seemed for any conspiracy nuts out there.

I really don't care that she died. I not into celebrity lives. Thats their own personal buisness and not mine to have to snoop in. My friends and I all felt that way and the only reason to feel sorry was for her baby that was just born.

As for her death and how she went. I thought she died of taking to many cold meds at once because her doctor told her to or something like that. If thats true then her death was more of accident then a sucide. Which that then shows a big difference from Marilyn Monroe who was purposeful in her death.

I have to agree... I thought the same thing as soon as I saw it on the news... And while the connection with Marilyn Monroe is very very small, what with the points that were made by desertpheonix, I still think it could very well have been murder. Think about all the stuff that's been going on in the news: She just had her baby and they're not sure who the father is. There's one guy who they think had something to do with the death of her son, Daniel. And then there's the other guy who's been denied the chance at a paternity test to prove he's the father. I think there's motive for both of them, and since I'm a conspriacy fanatic anyway, I think Daniel was murdered and then Anna Nichole... Probably by one of those two guys arguing over her child. "Professor Plum in the kitchen with the candlestick." Maybe one found out that she was secretly sleeping with the other and she never knew... So many theories out there, but I'm not deeply involved on what's going on with her life; I just want the chance at seeing another major court case like OJ. (cuz I was too young to remember that one)

My dad was actually thinking the same thing; The baby is worth around about half-a-billion dollars right? Perhaps one of the fathers tricked her into od-ing so that he could come into a hell of a lot of money? It's just a theory but it is plausible

At first I said, I guess she is dead. Now, I think about it, a lot people die and then they put them less of care. People said she had a sad life but honestly, if she wanted to die, why do you guys still want her alive if she isn't happy? Well I not good for mourning people, I try to avoid them.
