My point was that would stricter gun laws really make a difference. Sandy touched on it briefly about better social care and health issues. Other things that might address why they feel the need to inflict lethal damage on innocent people.

So the debate is what drives someone to reach a point where they will kill regardless of the weapon and why others even with similar stressful lives or situations do absolutely nothing to other people.

I'm more interesting in understand what break down happens within a person's mind that results in them harming others. You're missing what I'm trying to say here.
