Gaming Guitar Hero ideas

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray]Sup! I've been thinking about on what they should add for the next guitar hero game or something. Like add new songs or characters and what not. One of the characters I think should be added is the Burger King guy or Darth Vader![/COLOR]

I think for the next Guitar Hero, Add more Oldies Rock. I loved the Guns N Roses and Black Sabbath but there needs to be Metallica and Pink Floyd definately! I would love to see some of Floyds songs in Guitar Hero.

They should also come out with different versions of Guitar Hero. Like Guitar Hero Rock, Guitar Hero Metalheads, Punk, etc. That would put alot more songs in there :D

Music from King Crimson, Kyuss, T. Rex, Toadies, or Soundgarden. Any of them are great GH material.

Also, a solo mode (like I've heard Guitar Freaks has) would be great, as well as a way to import songs and convert them yourself. Of course, the latter is probably pretty unlikely to happen due to both horribly dickish copyright laws and having to separate the guitar part from the rest of the song (you could get by this by just having the entire song fade in volume when you're not hitting notes or something of that like, but it would obviously be a pretty ghetto way to do things).

[FONT=Arial]I honestly had no real intention of playing Guitar Hero ever, but I got hornswaggled into it one evening and I was actually rather impressed. (And entertained, naturally.) I was quite surprised to see [I]Carry On, My Wayward Son[/I] and [I]Rock This Town[/I] on the track list; that Kansas song has an impressive, tough, SOaB bass line, which is unfortunately only available during multiplayer mode (the bass option, I mean). It made me happy.

As far as future options, if the creators really wanted to throw in some though crap, I'd like to see some Nightwish; the solo on [I]The Siren[/I] is/would be nasty. :smirk:

Other than that, more Kansas, Queen, Foreigner, ELO, and more big band, especially any of Brian Setzer's stuff.[/FONT]

The March issue of Game Informer has "The top most wanted songs for Guitar Hero 3". There are some good songs on the top ten list and some great honorable mentions as well. Of course Zeppelin is number one.

Other bands in the top ten are Metallica, AC/DC, Derek and the Dominos, Soundgarden, Bon Jovi, At the Drive-In, Living Colour, The Strokes and Television.

I love this game. I just wish I didn't have arthritis so I could play it more than I do. I get about 3 songs and then have to quit. It so totally does not rock. But what does rock is the fact Spinal Tap and Strong Bad's Trogdor are on the game. You can't go wrong with that!

OoO GH3 sounds like its going to be interesting. I'm glad they are going to have metallica on there but still I would love to be able to play Pink Floyd. Still hoping :P Yeah GH should never stop. Its an amazing game. I hope they start makin different instrument games:D
