"The Innocent has been discovered mi'lord." The oracles spoke to Lord Simion. "She is a young Sirenian."

"How shall we get her off the island?"

"Trickery." They advised. " They do not know of your dictatorship."

"They will send nights if they are askd to come, not the girl, not a simple girl."

"She will come." They pophetted.

"Minion!" He called to a demon boy. "Set an ambush for a Sirenian Ship on shore, after dispatching a message for their arrival...make sure they think that Shuari owns the Northern kingdom.

Fade had never been out of Siren island's boundaries. Most on her island didn't. Only the knights of her island saw even the other half of her island. Something very speical has to occur for Sirenians to be sent over sea's. This was one of those occasions.

Fade was persistant. She wanted off the island badly and a chance finally peaked. After fighting the Councel she was allowed to go to the Northern kingdom With her best Friends, Dove and Raven, on a special trip. They were to go to the Northern kingdom to discuss something that the councel wanted kept secret.

The day of the trip finally came. Fade was excited and so was Dove. As usual Raven was strict business. They boarded the ship and left sometime before the sun showed itself. Fade Stayed close to her two companians, not wanting to be two much of a bother to the burly sailers and the knights who seemed as serious as Raven was.

She was watching the sea at the bow along side Raven. He had always seen something strange in her. The uncanny green hair was one thing but the fact she had no wings was another. He thought of her often. Thinking deeply about her destiny and what she is to become.

"Fade, Overseas can be deadly and it is very suspicious that Lord Shuari of the humans has invited us to his kingdom after 50 years of his rule." He paused. Due to the poor communication between their island and the Mainland they had no idea that Shuari's land was taken over by Simion over 40 years ago. "Take this." He handed her a black metal wrist guard with a rose carved in the middle." And this." He gave her an identicle one only in white. "If you have the destiny I think you have then it will help you if you are ever in trouble."

Fade didn't understand but she took them any way and thanked Raven sincerley. She put them on her wrists and continued to look out into the ocean.

By Evening the Northern shore was in sight. It would take little longer for them to reach the it but fear stuck everyone. They had half a mind to turn back seeing the ominous cloud that hung over the land. All on board knew it was a bad omen but continued. they had no choice.

They came onto shore only to be ambushed by several manticore. They tore most f the sailors apart, but the knights killed alot of the menicing manticore. The knights were soon overwhelmed, though. Raven and Dove were the last knights standing and wanted desperatly to protect Fade. They managed to sever through 8 manticore but the number comeing after them was overwhelming.

"DOVE! Get Fade out of here!!" Raven yelled in the middle of a fight.

Dove wordlessly snatched her up and flew away from the bloody scene.

"It was an ambush!!" He yelled in desperation."We were ambushed!!"

"Good observation!!" a voice came from behind them and Dove's stomach was peirced with a blade. He released Fade letting her free fall to the ground.

As she fell she screamed and soon fell silent. 100 feet away from the gound something caoght her. She looked to the side. White wings adorned her back. She was astonished and flapped once. The wind caught under her wings and she climbed the sky.

But just as she gained speed ...

"Well, You must be the Innocent!!" That voice...the one that killed Dove!!!

She tryed to speed up but just as she thought she was gone, someone grabbed around her neck and she blacked out due to the lack of air circulation.

[COLOR=Magenta]Mystere was in the Westen Kingdom listening to Lady Lunataria, "We have to form an army and against the Northern Kingdom and take them down. If we fail then the he might find the Innocent and kill her or send destruction across the land."

Mystere knew that she had get ready for battle and so did all the others that were called as well. She went back to her home and got ready. But she knew that the battle wasn't for a couple more weeks and prepared just in case of any earlier warning. She stopped preparing and looked up at her staff. She hadn't used in quite some time and there were many dead roses around it from the last battle.

She walked over to it dusted off the dust and threw away the dead roses. She polished it and made it good as new. Mystere then went into town to have a look around.[/COLOR]

[color=darkred][size=2][font=book antiqua]Ashen tapped his fingers against the armrest letting the clicking noises echo through the castle. The castle was quiet compared to the outside with the cries of slaves being pushed to their limit to create weapons of war for his army. That was all they ever did was fight. Whevere they needed slaves there were plenty of outsider towns to pillage and make it look like raiders. He reached down and petted the manticore head that lay at the side of his throne.

Suddenly a small imp cam running up. [b]"It better be good news"[/b] His eyes flashed as the imp cowered. [b]"It is Lord Simion, they met with good success and are on theri way over here now"[/b] Ashen threw back his head laughing more sounding like a roar that reached out beyond the castle. [b]"That is good news. And since it has put me in such a good mood, tell the drivers to work the slaves twice as hard and if they need mroe they now what to do"[/b] He slowly stood up and looked out the window. [b]"Tell them to hurry I grow impatient already"[/b] The imp made a small bow. [b]"Yes.s.s Lord Simion"[/b][/font][/size][/color]

As the meeting adjourned Lady Lunataria went out into the back yard to check up on her bird friends. ? My my little crow you have grown big and strong since I last saw you? smiled lady Lunataria as she gently petted the baby crow. ?Now now my little thing I have a task for you and you have to promise me that you will accomplish it. Good good I knew you would. Okay my little friend I need you to find the Innocent. You must track her down and report back to me, but first when you see her give her this letter. You here me my little bird The crow chirped with excitement as lady Lunataria tied the letter to its back ?Now now my little bird fly into the darkness. Let the moon lead you to the Innocent my friend. Tis the black rose be with you? as she tossed the bird into the air and watched it fly away into the night.
?God please let this one they call the Innocent still be alive. If not it is the end of the world as we know it. Then lady Lunataria returned back inside her palaces. All she could do now is wait. [/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkRed]?Your Queen we have a letter for you from the king Nexus? said one of the army men. ?Well then bring it up here. If it is for me I want to read it now! Yelled lady Lunataria. Oh so sorry lady Lunataria here is the letter? once the army man handed over the letter he stood beside scared of her temper.

?Well well well seems like the Lord wants to know more about the Innocent. Hmm I could just send a letter back rejecting his letter but that would not be lady like so I shall go to the Lords kingdom smiled Lunataria. Right after the meeting tomorrow so prepare my birds for flight and I want their feathers as black as the night sky pronto.? ?Yes lady Lunataria.? Said the army man. Now leave? said lady Lunataria in a soft voice.
Now all alone she wondered of the Innocent of herself. She thought of the question the Lord would ask here. Then suddenly one of her black crows appeared and flew to her hand. ?Hmm little crow should I trust this man and share the knowledge I know? The bird made a low humming noise and flapped its wings. Just what I thought? said Lady Lunataria smiling. Well then I guess I?m going to see the lord said lady Lunataria. All for the Innocent. Then lady Lunataria disappeared into the darkness and all that was left was a black rose.[/COLOR]

Xander sharpened his blade as his men were busy setting up camp. He then heard the stomping of hooves as one of his scouts rode in. He frantically dismounted his horse and ran over to Xander bowing. Xander stopped, placed his whetstone away and sheathed his sword.

"Report," Xander said looking up at the man.

"A ship has landed upon the shore mi'lord, and i saw a platoon moving in on it," The man replied standing up as straight as he could.

"How big?" Xander asked standing up now.

"About fifty or so demons,"

"Demons?"

"Yes mi'lord,"

"Prepare my stead I'll investigate,"

"How many men do you want to go with you?"

"None, but I want all men ready in case of an attack, I'll send for help if I need it,"

Xander entered his tent and put on his armor, he then strapped his fathers sword and his shield on his back. He walked out of his tent and his horse Argos was waiting for him. Xander petted Argos on the nose and then mounted him. One of his men ran up next to him. He handed Xander a pack of basic supplies just in case he found himself staying the night there and then the solider went off to get ready with the others. Xander reared his horse and it sped off.

It was about a half an hour before he reached the shore. He stopped at a hill above the shore. He dismounted Argos and slowly climbed the rest of the hill. He reached the top and saw the ship, demons climbing all over it. Xander saw nothing else until he saw a winged warrior cane flying out from inside the ship and started carving up the demons on the deck. Xander ducked back behind the hill and took his shield off of his back.

He looked back over the hill and saw the warrior gone but the demons still there. suddenly something grabbed Xander and clubbed him over the back of the head. He fell backwards his vision blurred and felt someone sit on his chest. He then felt claws glide down his cheeks.

"This is a human, a young one too," said the creature on top of him. A claw cut his face and then pulled its hand away. His vision cleared and he saw it was what looked like a woman, with black hair and a gray skin. He looked at him while licking his blood off of her nail. "You are special, i haven't tasted a human like you before," she then leaned in and licked his cut. Xander then punched at her but she disappeared in a black mist.

Xander scrambled to his feet, he drew his sword and spun around. She was nowhere to be seen, then a loud cracking noise came from behind him. There the woman stood, leaning on a staff. Xander watched her as she started a dancelike movement around him. He kept his sword pointed at her the entire time.

"You're a feisty one," she said moving inward.

"I don't have time for games," Xander replied moving around like she did. She winked at him and then suddenly lunged forward. Xander dodged but felt a sharp pain run up his leg. Three throwing spikes where sticking out of his calf. He fell on one knee and ripped them out one at a time grunting each time. She giggled at the sight and then came but behind him wrapping her arms around his neck.

"If you give up now i will let you live and keep you as my pet,"

"Go fuck yourself." Xander replied.

"Your decision," She pulled out a dagger and raised it up to stab him. Xander moved quickly pulling a hunting knife out of his boot and stabbing her in the gut. She made a moaning noise and stumbled backwards she then morphed back into the imp-like creature she was. Xander rose to his feet and walked over to the stunned creature.

"I am no ones pet," Xander said as he lobed off the creatures head. He retrieved his knife and then went back to the hill to see that the demons were gone, Xander started his cautious decent down the hill.

[The Enemy]

A group of human knights were galloping across a fine pathway. They were making their way to Beston in his cloaked form. As then approached they saw he was standing directly in the path, his massive blade at the ready. The leader called for a halt and the horses slowed to a stop in front of Beston. He pointed his sword toward them with incredible strength. "Move." he said calmly.
The troop of humans didn't realize they were being tailed by a group of demons, sent to destroy them. The leader of the knights then said "We cannot, we must make our way back to the kingdom of kind lord Kyrik There's been work of demons and we must send word of it to the king himself." Beston smirked "Work of demons?! Oh my!"

The human leader grinned thinking of the mans fear made him think better of himself, most humans were full of themselves and liked acting high and mighty even if they were nothing but scum. Beston then said "...Work of demons...you don't know how right you are.." Then a loud shriek rang from behind the humans. They turned and saw many dark creatures. They saw manticores, gargoyles, and various half breeds of humans with oxen, pigs, foxes, birds and many more. The first to attack were the manticores, diving downward at the humans. Beston took his chance and leapt into the air, sword in hand. He cut threw at least a dozen manticore and half a dozen gargoyles while air-born.

When he landed he swung a huge circle and tore threw many of the half-breed looking demons. The remaining flying creatures turned and attacked Beston, knowing he was the threat. Beston continued to sting the mighty blade in his palm hacking threw anything that fell in it's path. He made many sweeps jabs and vertical heaving cuts. Each swing brought down several more demons. They seemed unending in their swarming attack, but Beston seemed invincible in his godly defence. He pulled around the sword killing another 5 manticores. He wielded the sword the size of himself as if it were merely a normal claymore.

His power with the sword deeply unsettled the humans watching in awe. He made another huge circular sweep and either cut threw or threw back anything within 6 feet of himself. Eventually the demon hordes began thinning. Only about 20 or so mantocires, 3 gargoyles, and 17 half-breeds remained. Beston made short work of the manticores, they were dumb enough to gather around him. Then the half breeds, they has limited manoeuvrability and could not hide from Bestons blade. Fin ally the gargoyles also fell, they flew down one at a time and were slashed to bits in order of which came close enough next.

When it was all over the human leader road up to the bloodied man and thanked him greatly with much admiration. "Thank you kind sir, come with us, if our king learns of this fantastic deed he will surely knight you. You will be known threw the ages." Beston replied coldly "Yes, I will be remembered...but not as a pathetic human knight." While he spoke a glistening wave of dark energies gleemed down his sword, revealing the moving eye and other strange characteristics. The human knights leader got no more than a few feet away when the same dark energy passed over Beston. Showing his dark armour and the mass of muscle and jagged bone he called an arm.

Beston jumped and cleaved the knight leader in two, then landed hard and dashed to the group remaining. He kept up his speed and held out his blade, cutting up the horses on which they rode like frail twigs. All the humans fell to the ground atop their mutilated steeds and half were cut to shreds while they tried to stand. Others got up but their blades flew aside when they attempted to block the gruesome living sword of the demon before them. He ripped each one to smithereens and ignored their screams of agony and pain as he made them nothing but meat and bones. Finally, he was done with the group of what may have been humans at some point, and he held his sword to the sky.

Black and blue lightning surged from the mangled corpses and into Beston,, the pupil of the swords eye dialated and it's crimson gaze darted to all directions as the lightning fed into it as well. This only lasted roughly 7 seconds. Then Beston received a wave of black energy and his figure reformed to that of his cloaked form. He grinned madly looking over the wreckage of bodies filled with that of demons and humans alike. Once fully content that they were all dead, which didn't take long, he began walking down the path again. In search of more souls to power his twisted power.

Chris walked into the throne room and bowed. He then stood tall and walked up to Lady Lunataria. He bowed agian when he was next to her. "How do you do my lady?" He had a smile on his face. She turned to him, a small one on hers.

"How many times do I have to tell you, you do not need to bow in my presence. You are a prince, one of real royal blood. I really cannot compare to you." She shook her head and then looked back down at the letter that rested in her hands.

"That may be, but I will still think of you as my queen. Therefore, I must bow. Tell me, what is this I hear of this person they call the innocent?" He raised an eyebrow as she turned to him a little, and then handed him the letter. "I see. So, you are wondering if it is wise to trust these people?" He watched her nod and then handed the letter back to her.

"What do you think, Chris? You have always been a good judge of character." She looked at him, waiting his answer. He turned around to make sure there was noone else nearby and then turned back to her.

"Please, allow me to go and meet these people. If I am able to trust them, then you should have no worries." She put her hand up to her chin and finall nodded. "Thank you, I will prepare to leave as soon as possible." He gave a bow and then turned around, making his way to his room, getting ready for the trip ahead of him.

[COLOR=Magenta]Since Mystere had to report to the castle she decided to go over there. When she arrived, the guards had asked who she was and she told them.
"Hault. Who are you and what business do you have with Lady Lunataria?" asked on of the guards.

"My name is Mystere and I am here to see Lady Lunataria about some business about the Innocent," she replied.

"You may enter, Miss Mystere," said the guards.

Mystere walked in and looked for the throne room. She finally found it on one of the top floors and walked in. She saw that Lady Lunataria and another were talking. She still walked up to the queen and bowed saying, "Lady Lunataria. My name is Mystere and I am one of the citizens of the Western Kingdom. I am here to know more about the Innocent and I may have some information about the Innocent from a friend who saw here."

Mystere looked up and stood up. Lady Lunataria was the best queen of the Western Kingdom and was good at it. "Well, the Innocent is something that I can't tell most about for the fear of someone being a spy and finding out about it. But share what information that you do have about the Innocent."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Purple]Tsubame was wandering the streets of the Western Kingdom in her [URL=http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m5/key_of_darkness/angelic%20beings/goddessofwinter.jpg]Day Look[/URL]. She looked at all the shops that were there and then got bored. She went back to her house on the far side of the kingdom and went inside. She knew a lot of things about the Innocent but she told no one. She sat inside her house drinking some tea. She thought about telling the queen what she knew about the Innocent incase the queen was asked.

She stood up and walked out of her house. She headed towards the palace to talk to the queen about what she knew. She walked up to the palace doors. She was stopped by the guards who asked," Who are you and what business do you have?"

"My business is to talk to the queen and I am Tsubame Ichigawa, a doctor if you would say in this Kingdom," Tsubame replied

"Oh, well, come in Miss Ichigawa," said the guards

"Thank you."

She walked in and went to the top floor where the queen was. She had only visited the queen once but that was a long time ago. When she got there there was a the queen, a woman, and a man standing next to her. She walked up to the trio and said," Mi' Lady, I have some news that I would like to share with you."[/COLOR]

Said lady Lunataria as she grabbed Mystere?s hand and took her to her to her brother Chris?s room but before they could do that they were disturbed by a young female voice who said Mi' Lady, I have some news that I would like to share with you." Lady Lunataria turned to see this young girl and she urged her to fallow them into the room.

Next to the curtains hid a enemy who wanted to takes the queens place and her name was Yoisha. ?Damit I was so close? whispered Yoisha. Then slowly Yoisha used her mind control to send one of the Queens men inside to listen up on the conversation. Now all that is left is the enemy? laughed Yoisha.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Magenta]Mystere had followed Lady Lunataria into another room. As they walked into the other room, there was a big bed and a some nice chairs surrounding a table. They sat down at the table and talked. "I've heard from a friend on the Siren Islands that she saw a couple of people, three actually, walking around," said Mystere.

"Why would they be there? Are they outsiders or anything?" asked Lady Lunataria.

"My friend said that they must be outsiders and don't belong to any of the kingdoms. But when everything seemed fine, some people began to attack the few. Two were killed but one lived and flew off. The only thing is, some tried to attack her and yelled, 'Well, you must be the Innocent.' That was all my friend had said and asked me to tell you right away."

"That sure is something. But did your friend say anything about what her name was?"

Mystere shook her head. Lady Lunataria got a sad look on her face and said, "Oh, I guess that means we're gonna have to find out who she is and where those others took her."

"Yes, mi'lady, but there are some things that you should know about going to the outside. Outside of the kingdom is very dangerous and people from the outside know this. They will kill anyone who is from any of the kingdoms or take them a prisoners."

"What's so bad about that?"

"Listen, you can't just walk right out of the kingdom with all the clothes from that very kingdom. They are very skilled people and would kill you depending on you information and the kingdom you come from."

Ok I shall take your word for it.? said Lady Lunataria Any way I have already thought of a solution for that and I have already sent one of my crows to find her. I knew this operation would take some time, but it is far off better if we send one of my bird friends in the place of a human. Sadly I?m quite worried about my little bird it is not use to being this far from home before. It?s just a baby, but I also fear someone will capture my baby and read the message I tied around its back hopefully my bird and the Innocent are still alive.? said lady Lunataria with a worried look on her face. She turned so no one could see her fear for she was taught a leader never showed fear of her kingdom would fall.
Mi Lady yet if it will make you feel better I will go search for the Innocent and I?m sure of it she is still alive. If not alive we would have heard of something or during my night walks I would have heard some whispers of the death. For now she is some where in the unknown? said Tsubame.
? What about your brother my lady?? said Mystere ?You mean Chirs. No he is already being sent to see Lord Noell Nexus and find out if he is worthy of such information.? Said lady Lunataria shaking her head with the slight thought of her brother dieing. ?Never will I send my brother on such a task. I know he is capable of doing it but I will not see my brother being destroyed by those demons.? Yelled lady Lunataria turning her head away as she got up from the chair. ?I?m sad to say I?m done speaking I will be in my garden and I don?t want any disruption! That is a order for all? yelled lady Lunataria as she left the room.
As she opened the door one of the army soldiers ran to the evil Yoisha to tell her of the plans and lady Lunataria went to her garden leaving all behind.

"So many things are happening right now and so much deciet is everywhere", Lord Kyrik said to his wife. "Kyrik, if anything happens to the "Innocent" the whole entire world will pay for it so we should be scouting for her now", she said to him solemly. He walked over to her, slowly wrapping his arms around her looking directly into her eyes. "Arriele....our kingdom is lacking when it comes to defense, our people abhor fighting, let alone a war, I must atleast find some support for the...", Arriele gently put a finger to his lips silencing his talk, "Kyrik...you do what you feel must be done and I will tend to all the other matters that come up in your absence...so go on ahead and leave with no worries", she said as she looked out at the night sky. "Lord Kyrik", yelled a solider as he bombarded into the throne room, "Forgive my rudeness but we have lost track of the "Innocent" by the shore, not only that but there are signs everywhere of a battle", "What, so the time has actually come after all", he said this very disturbed, "Solider, inform all men to be ready for departure tomorrow, we have a long journey before us", "Yes my king", he replied as he walked out of the room. Kyrik looked over at Arriele, noticing a very worried look on her face, "Arriele, do not worry yourself...", "Quiet", she said kindly, "You are going to need your rest for the battles ahead", she said leading him to the bedroom.

"Lord Noell"said his top general Talix,"you have recived a letter from the west sir."Noell rose from his thrown and walked to Talix.He took the letter and gave it one good glance.He smiled and thought to himself,"she's just like my sister used to be.Ok it seems we will be having a different guest to day."He said"make shure everything is ready."Noell then whent to his chambers.He turned to a picture of two females.One was yound and beautiful."my sweet sister,"he thought,"I WILL AVENGE YOUR DEATH!"tears run down his face as he yells in anger"Zabriell...My brother...I WILL KILL YOU!!!"

Xander moved down the hill toward the ship watching the demons move northward. Xander cautiously moved onto the boat shield and sword at the ready. Xander checked the deck up and down. He only found what was left of demons and winged people. He went into the ship and halfway down the stairs he heard a lot of struggling. He descended the rest of the stairs. He started down the hallway until he heard something moving in one of the crews quarters. He crept down the hallway and looked into the room.

He saw another imp standing guard at the door, a small spear in hand. There were too other pig like men feasting on a body in the corner. They then heard something they turn`ed to see Xander pulling his blade from the back of the imp.

"You smell like a human, this is none of your business, leave," One of the beats said turning back to the body.

"I am making this my business," Xander replied holding his sword up ans he approached the demons. One turned and saw him coming. It picked up a log and spun around. Xander put up his shield. This did little as the log hit him and sent his stumbling back into the wall. Before he could recover the demon had grabbed him and lifted him up.

"Do you really think a pathetic human like you is a match for a demon of my power?" The demons breath stang Xander's nostrils. Xander gritted his teeth and shoved his blade into the demons chest. It let go of him and fell limp. The other demon now taking itself away from the body charged forward. Xander brought his blade around swiftly and decapitated the demon.

Xander went over to the other demon still alive on the ground. He turned him over and placed the tip of his blade at the demons throat.

"I am going to ask you a question and you will answer and i will end your pain, where is your battalion heading?" Xander asked.

"After the innocent," replied the creature black blood now coming out of his mouth.

"Lets pretend I don't know what that is,"

"I dont either but my master has a lot of interest in it and sent us after it," Xander nodded and plunged his blade trough the creatures throat. He stood and whipped his blade and sheather it. He walked off of the ship. He then brought two fingers to his mouth and whistled loud. Argos came galloping down the hill and slid to a stop next to Xander. Xander mounted Argos and sped off after the demons.

After a couple minutes he found a massacre of humans and demons, it looked like there was little fighting between them and one main killer. Xander dismounted and picked up one of the soldier's spears. He walked all over the scene and then saw what he was looking for. Tracks leading away from the scene. They were very warm thus meaning that not only were they fresh but belonging to a powerful demon. Xander plotted the demons course and headed after it.

It wasn't but a couple minutes before he reached a heavily armored man carrying another winged person, this one seeming to be a woman. Xander pulled on the reigns so his horse sun about. The man turned to see this new opponent. Xander lifted his spear to his side and pointed it up in the air.

"Mind if I have a word?" Xander called out to the man.

[Xerxes]

[COLOR=Purple]Tsubame sat in the room with Mystere as Lady Lunataria left the room. "Too bad, she seems to be really pissed and upset. Nothing we can do. I'll just go now," said Tsubame as she got up and walked.

"Wait! What did you mean when you said,[I]' I?m sure of it she is still alive. If not alive I would have heard of something during my night walks or I would have heard some whispers of the death. For now she is some where in the unknown.'[/I]" said Mystere with a rather rude tone.

"Don't you know a vampire when you see one?" she replied as she smiled, barring her fangs.

"I see, so you are a vampire. You must hear a lot of stuff on your night walks?"

"I do. And I have heard one thing that the dead have told me, and that is the name of the Innocent."

"Oh please, do tell. It must be a very hard to contain it."

"It is not. And I won't tell. I am not sure if it is true or not but I will want to go and search for her."

"I you're a vampire, how are you able to live in this kingdom. Nobody but the people of this town live here."

"I was here since I ever could remember. I never knew what I was until I was 10 in your human years I would say. But I have to get home and feed my birds. Now I you'll excuse me," said Tsubame as she walked out of the door and then out of the palace on to her home.[/COLOR]

Chris walked up to the place that a Noell Nexus was supposed to abide. He walked up to the door and knocked three times. In a matter of seconds, somone opened the door, blade drawn. Chris smiled and shook his head. "Is that anyway to treat the Prince of the Western Kingdom?" He glared at the guard and then walked past him.

The place was decorated as if somone important was to be coming. Chris only though that it was ment for his sister, but they did it anyway just because he was royalty. He didn't like the flashy show, but he knew that it was only curtious.

"Ah, Prince Chris. How good it is to see you." A tall man in a suit of armor walked up to him and gave him a bow. Chris bowed back and then shook the mans hand.

"Lord Nexus. How good it is to meet you. I am here on buisness. My sister, Lady Lunataria could not make it. She had other buisness to attend to." He let go of the mans hand and then fallowed him into another room. Chris looked around and then sat down in the chair that had been set up for him.

"I understand. I am glad that it is somone of the royal family and not a negotiator that was sent. I hate talking to them, its always buisness." Nexus looked twards Chris and then nodded. "I see its probably the same for you, is it not?" Chris nodded and smiled.

"You got it. I won't be staying the night. I hate it in places like this. Always trying to show off with decorations, its pointless. I am a person, like everyone else, as are you. And, I feel to be treated like a normal person. I hate royalty to be honnest. I do, however, care for my sister, in a brother kind of way, and will never leave her side." He glanced up at Nexus and tried to look into his eyes, but couldn't see them.

"I see. You do realize that the country side is deathly at night. Its very dangerous."

"I will be fine. I may have come by myself, but that is only for one reason. I feel that others will get in the way if anything comes for us. Its better if it is just me, then for anyone that doesn't need to be there getting hurt."

"You really are the best people person I have ever met. Most only care about using their people, but you actually are one of them. You live in your village, do you not?" Chris nodded and then smiled a little. "They really look up to you. Did you even tell them that you were coming here?" Chris shook his head to this one. He knew where Nexus was getting at.

"I didn't for a reason. If I would have told some of my people that I was taking a journey, they would not have let me leave without a few escourts, and that is something, like I have said, that I did not want. So no, they do not know I am here." He glared at Nexus then frowned. He didn't get this man very well. What was he really trying to gain from this?"

"Then I guess you will get a mouthful when you get back, wont you?" Nexus laughed a little and then regained his posture.

"Yeah, now, lets cut this shit. You really can't care that much about what will happen to me. I really want to know what you will gain from our information? What is it that you want to know, and why do you want to know it?" Chris glared harder at the man, and then sat up straight.

"Oh, it seems that you don't like me very much. I am begining to like your attitude. It seems as though you are itching for a fight." Chris heard him give a small smirkish grunt. Slowly Chris pulled out a black crystal. He held it under the table, out of sight.

"IF it must come down to it, then I will. But until then, you, your kingdom, they have not gained anything from this conversation, other than a possible threat. I will give you five minutes to change my mind." He stared at the man, not taking his eyes off of him. Waiting for what he had to say.

[The Enemy]

Beston heard a voice call from behind hi "Mind I have a word?" asked the voice, from the question Beston knew it was a human male. He was tougher, faster, stronger, and over all better than most humans. Beston could tell from the energy of his soul. Beston put down the angel-folk and walked a few steps toward the man. "Tell me your name before we exchange conversation." said Beston, the man replied "My name is Xander, and yours?" Beston replied "Beston. What is your business here Xander?" Xander answered "I'm exploring this land."

Beston thought over the situation, and decided he had limited options. He could not let the man go, for he would surely tell that Beston had the winged girl. He could kill him and steal his soul, or the most interesting choice-he could gain this warrior as an ally. His thoughts were interrupted by Xander talking "And what of you? What business does a demon have in these parts, your not even close to Simions kingdom." Xander clearly struck a nerve, Beston clenched his fist and said "That kingdom...is rightfully mine."

He continued "And if you know I am a demon I have no need for this shadow of life." A black energy flashed over him and his sword and revealed his true shape. The swords gaze locked on Xander as Beston held it to the side and Xander felt an erie feeling passing over him. He'd seen demons before but this one was different, the other demons were scum, nothing more than mere killers for the largest bidder.

This one was different, this "beston" Xander felt like he was gazing upon the embodiment of a thousand lost souls tortured for eternity, the essence of hatred and pure chaos. The most horrible notion of the whole feeling however, was that in the midst of chaos and doom, there was a human mind, the living spirit of a normal man trapped by his own hatred and gluttony. Xander could hardly stand it.

After seconds that seemed like a lifetime Beston lunged forward. Xander expected an attack and also knew he couldn't just stop a full attack from the evil blade. Instead he blocked on an angle, deflecting the sword but falling off his horse. Beston used the momentum of the deflection and swung right around slashing horizontally. Xander ducked, and his horse had moved away from the fight, and stabbed at Bestons grotesque arm. His sword ricochet off of some stray jutting bone and he made another cut to Bestons leg, dropping him.

Xander then went for the final blow, leaping into the air to land in a deathly stab threw Bestons chest, or so it was supposed to be. Beston however didn't like the idea, he brought up his sword to block, then he grabbed Xanders neck with his huge arm. Xander figured he was done for but still struggled to slash and stab at the arm. He could only make a few attack attempts before Beston threw him though. Xander flew threw the air quickly, smashing threw a small tree then smashing into another before falling to the ground.

When he stood Beston was already running towards him, sword held high. Xander ducked and rammed Beston in the stomach with his shield. Beston stopped and regained his composure then said "Join me. We could both use each other's help. You are a wise one, I can sence it, join me and we will make a powerful alliance." Then he pointed his sword to the ground, defensively and so the eye was not looking at Xander.

"What alliance is there to make, you have no kingdom to speak of, even though I am by heir, ruler of my people, we are far from a kingdom in size, so what kind of alliance is there?" Xander asked pacing around Beston.

"True, I have no kingdom, yet, but with the power I shall possess from killing The Innocent," Beston paused and pointed at the winged woman. "Well, lets just say there will only be one kingdom... my kingdom, now you can join me and there will be a seat of power waiting for you along with a guarantee that your people would be spared," Beston replied crossing his arms with a obvious tone of confidence.

"That is a bold statement if I do say so myself, but I do not like some parts," Xander replied Beston looking him up and down. "ONE: knowing that when you rule my people would needed to be protected by your own demons, TWO: the killing of that women, THREE: consorting with you, call me crazy but when some rational demon is having a conversation with me and then just snaps and attacks unprovoked, I tend to hold some resentment,"

Beston seemed to be angered by this, his face twisting with thought as he what to do with Xander, since there was no way of an alliance all he had left was to let him go, which was not happening, or kill him and steal his soul. He decided on the ladder. He gripped his sword just when Xander whistled and Argos returned. Beston started to approach Xander as he packed his sword and shield on the horse to stop his escape.

"I am leaving Beston, and you are thinking you are going to stop me," Xander said drawing his sword from the saddle. "But I am leaving, and I am taking her with me,"

"You seem sure of yourself, how are you going to take her when I am standing in your way?" replied Beston now perturbed.

"You will either let me go with her, and she will wake up tell me why exactly she has came to a place where she is only sought to be killed, or I will have to kill you," Beston laughed at this statement.

"Now that is a bold statement," Beston belted out as he jumped forward and punched Xander. Xander slid backward and fell to the ground. When he started to get up Beston held him down with his foot. Pushing down on Xander all air had left his lungs. Gasping for air Xander frantically looked around and found his salvation. The spear lie next to him.

He picked it up and smashed it handle against Beston's head. Beston laughed at this and pressed down more. Xander lost all hop when he noticed that he was holding the spear upside when he hit Beston, The blade was on his end of the broken handle. In desperation He shoved the spear into Bostons stomach. Xander scrambled to his feet catching his breath and holding the broken spear and sword at the ready.

Lundrikan had been getting as much information about the innosent as possible. Recently he heard of an ambush on a docking ship that may have been related to the innosents where-abouts. Being a mission of great importance he decided to go personally to check the battle sight after clearing finishing a few things around his kingdom. Once there he saw bodies of demons and angel-folk alike, then saw a path that survivers had to have taken.

He followed the path and he came upon a great battle site with many dead humans and demons alike (He didn't really like humans much as they where much weaker and less battle worthy than the elfs and always scurried around like rodents) and instantly felt a great power toward the way he was heading down the path and remembered this feeling before. He could feel many souls in anguish just like when he in a battle with the northern kingdom a few years ago when the king had been slain and there was much confusion.

He jumped up onto a low tree branch and saw a small argument with a great demon and a mere human as a fight started and surprisingly the human was doing ok. Lundrikan took out his bow and fastened an 2 earth-bind arrows to it one on each string. He aimed carefully and fired them both at the ground as Beston had swund his sword. Xander had ducked under the blow when all of a sudden roots started growing out of the ground and started binding up Beston. Lundrikan ran out of the trees kicking Xanders wepons out of his hands and throwing him to the ground. Beston seemed to laugh as the vines withered and died not binding him at all. He swund his sword upward toward Lundrikan. Lundrikan jumped to the side rolled on the ground expecting the massive sword to throw him off balance. As he got up the another attack was already at him as he ducked under it too. Xander was back in the fight now as it was a free for all as noone knew who was on whos side.

Lundrikan threw his hand forward as a green and blue light flew out of it hitting a nearby tree. The very tree itself started to uproot and come alive as well as others around it. He ducked and rolled under 2 swords as Beston and Xander both swung they're swords.

Xander watched as the nimble elf parried attack from both Xander and Beston. The elf jumped into the air coming down hard on Beston. Beston knocked his sword out of his hand and they started to struggle. Xander then realized his next move, he ran over to The Innocent and three her over his shoulder and ran. He turned to see both men now noticed he had her and started to get to their feet still fighting. Xander knew on foot h couldn't be a match for their speed but on a horse he couldn't be beat. He whistled and Argos came galloping up next to him. This was one of his favorite maneuvers he had done it many times in battle saving one of his men. He grabbed the horn on the saddle and jumped catching the first foot in one stirrup then pushing himself onto the saddle and stirruped the other foot.

This was a occasion that made3 Xander smile even laugh. He sat the girl behind him and spun his horse around facing the man.

"I thank you gentlemen, Beston for helping deliver her to me and you, for distracting him so I might leave," Xander spurred horse around and then spurred it. They took off he looked back and saw that The men were not fighting but still trying to catch up. After a moment there was no sign of either men. Xander then turned his horse and headed for his camp.

After an hour of riding he finally found his camp, all tents down and all men ready and their horses ready also. He reared his horse and pulled out his horn blowing it loud for his men to hear.

"We leave now, lets move back to the kingdom," Xander called out. All of his men mounted their steads and in a matter of moments they had left leaving only a couple burning fires and dust. They were heading back to the kingdom, not to bring The Innocent to the king but to see refuge away from those who are after her. Xander noticed that she would slip every now and again, he almost lost her one time. So he tied her hands around him. Then he started to feel some movement, she was waking up.

[Funny Girl]

[COLOR=Magenta]Mystere watched as Tsubame left. [I]What am I going to do? This is starting to get really bad. If nothing is done the whole world is in danger and no one cna stop it.[/I] Mystere then stood up and her wings appeared. They were a bright white and very beautiful. She then stood there concentrating and looking for the Innocent seeing if she was anywhere in the spirit world. She called the spirits and they said nothing of anyone like that. She had almost lost hope when a certain spirit came up to her and said, "I hear that you are looking for the Innocent."

"Yes, I am. Do you have any idea if she's there with you or somewhere safe?" asked Mystere.

"I do indeed. But she is in a lot of danger and is in the hands of the demon king so I last heard."

"What is her name if you can recall anything."

"Her name is Fade and she was one of my friends and she was taken while another friend and I suffered and died."

"That's too bad. Thank you again for your help. I will contact you if I find out anything more about her whereabouts and tell you."

"Thank you. Very much obliged. I will like to hear what she's doing from time to time."

"Good-bye."

No one else had heard this conversation except for those in the spirits. She was able to find the one true fact about Fade and had to make arrangements find her.[/COLOR]

[The Enemy]

"RAAHHHHH" Beston let out an angered roar that echoed threw the forest. He turned to the elf in pure blood loving hate and screamed "Your soul is not worth your trouble!!" He then used his large hand and swung to the elf, the back clashed of the elf's face and sent him spiralling into the air and into a large tree hard. Beston then latched his sword to his back and darted off after Xander.

He travelled faster than it looked like he ever could. Running for2 hour as he followed Xanders trail, soon closing in on him. Beston came across a camp, filled with smouldering fires and the obvious trail of human scum. With renewed energy from the excitement of getting closer, he began running not 5 minutes later. His legs began glowing with an odd dark red hue, he was using the power of his newly captured souls.

Beston's speed nearly tripled as he ran as hard as he possibly could. Eventually he came up behind a group of horsemen with a clear leader. On closer observation Beston saw the leader and saw he had the winged girl on his steed. Beston growled and kept running. With all his might he jumped into the sky, and drew his sword. Still in his demon form he crashed down in front of the group and faced Xander. The horses stopped in their tracks and went up on their back legs as they were terrified by the creature before them.

"I shall not let you take her from me!" He said loudly. "Hand her over, or you and your group shall die here and now." whispers of fear passed threw the group, not many of them knew what the girl was exactly and they weren't very willing to risk their lives for a stranger. Xander was shocked "How did you follow me so fast? I didn't even see you coming up the trail." Beston replied "Know not do you, of the power of demons." in an annoyed tone. Then he drew his sword and pointed it to Xander.

By this point the girl was awake and slightly scared for her life. First and for most, she could not move her hands and was apparently tied to a man. Then there was the brutal demon threatening to kill the group. She supposed the most shocking and terrifying fact, was that the man she was strapped to, was still facing the demon and was risking the lives of him among all the present men. She did not want blood shed, and she could see that the demon was strangely willing to avoid it as well, but she was left with only one choice to create the absence of death here.
