eleanor
What can I say? It was a great movie. Probably the only movie I've seen this year worth that really left me saying "now that was a good movie." Then again, I haven't seen a lot of movies this year. Everything about this movie was good. Plot, writing, acting, writing, whatever. And if anything else wasn't good, persay, it didn't matter anyway. The film did such a good job of building tension and really holding my attention the entire time. By the end of the movie, I was biting my nails furiously. And also loving Mark Wahlberg. I never knew someone could be so badass. I now know what Will Ferrel was talking about at the Oscars. Nicholson's monologues were great, Damon's character was unwillingly likable, and DiCaprio was overall pretty good. If I had to pick the best part of the movie, I'd say it was just the power that came from the leading cast members. They were all on their A game and it definitely showed through the movie. So, I was glad to see Martin Scorsese win Best Director (finally!). He's such a cute old man. :)
Veritas
I watched this movie the other night, aand I enjoyed it very much, even if it made me very mad at the end. The characters were amazing, Damon had some funny lines but at the same time I hated his guts during this film. His character just bugged me, though I think he was supposed to. Nicholson made the movie my opinion. He was hilarious, and just slammed everyone, who didn't he make fun of. All the thoughts that we normally think but won't say because they aren't politically correct surged from his mouth. He had a rude remark for every given moment, I loved it. Markie Mark, Mr. Wahlberg was hilarious too. He just talked **** to everyone, another person that said anything that came across his mind. I loved it, not to mention he is a badass. Markie just makes a good badass character. Lastly Leonardo, I thought he played this role very well. He can be pretty dark when he wants to be. I loved all the senseless violence he commited. I though he portrayed the stress quite nicely, though he never let it get to his physical body. A very interesting movie, worth a watch. I was also very impressed by some of the shots they got, between camera angle and the backround, pretty interesting for me at least.
Cyriel
What a good movie! Although yeah, the end was just...wow. Totally blew my mind, but throughout the entire movie the adrenaline wouldn't stop dumping into my bloodstream. And then at the end, when you try to stand up, your legs are so shaky...^_^ Haha, I love that feeling. Although, I really really hated Jack Nicholson's character. I just found him to be so...annoying? I'm not really sure. It just seems to me that he always plays characters that I never find appealing...but is that his intention? Not really sure... But wow, I was so impressed by LeodiCaprio's performance! I thought he was finished w/ Titanic, but then he's come back with good movies (this one, Blood Diamond), so it's really changed my view of him as an actor. I heard rumors that they're going to make a second movie for this, although I'm not really sure how, since
everyone basically died
. Does anyone know about this?

There's even talk of a prequel, and making it a trilogy. Mark Wahlberg said he might star in it, but nothing is really official, I guess.
