The story is about Kazuki Shikimori, a mediocre second year student of the prestigious magic school, Aoi Academy. Unlike ordinary people who can use magic less than a hundred times and several of his classmates, who can use magic several thousand times, Kazuki can only use his magic eight times before he turns to dust/ash. His life changes when it is revealed that Kazuki is a descendant of a line of world famous magicians and he has the potential to father the world's greatest magician.Suddenly three beautiful girls, Yuna Miyama, Kuriko Kazetsubaki and Rin Kamishiro,enter Kazuki's life in order to obtain his valuable genes for family reasons.

Maburaho is one of my favorite series.:catgirl: [spoiler] It may be kind of weird show that three girls want Kazuki's gene so bad that they make up all these plans to get them some how, but never work in the end. :animestun Yuna, one of the three girls, clams to be Kazuki's wife because when they were little Yuna wanted to see snow before she moved away. So Kazuki, being a nice guy uses one of his eight magic usages to make snow in the summertime for her to see. Kuriko is from a rich and power family that too want Kazuki's gene to make her offspring have these great powers from his ancestors. Rin is from an old and loyal traditional family that want his gene just like Kuriko's reasons too.[/spoiler] I wonder if anyone has seen the last episode, if they did I would to discuss about the ending with you. Do you think you like it or not and also do you think there will be a second season?

I loved it. Its been awhile since I finished it, but the ending was pretty surprising. The art in the series was cute.

I've only read the manga, and I was surprised by how short it was. Considering it was only 2 volumes long. Its ending seemed to be rushed, claiming that Kazuki [spoiler]still remembers everything, and that he was lying when he didn't.[/spoiler] In any case, I still found it enjoyable. Having his powers would be pretty awesome! :animesmil

I finally finished the manga series and have to say i'm little dissaponited :animesigh at what adv manga did to that series. in japan maburaho goes up to 18 vloumes but the us only get 2? well at least the Anime more then makes up for it. after what Kazuki did for yuna you couldn't ask for cooler hero in my opinion.

I really like this anime, but it does only have two volumes to it, and i've only read the secound one. The anime's really good and the art is awesome, but i wish it would run a bit longer than it did even for the 7 volumes of the anime. As for this, my favorite character is Yuna.
