oh, moon, i sing to you to express my joy,
running free through the darkness,
blood on my muzzle, dew on my paws
strength and power in my jaws,
fatal bite with no flaws,
sweet blood of life on my tongue,
i am a child of the moon.

snow underfoot,
my breath in the air,
winter brings us no cares,
warm fur, we need no coat,
gliding over sparkling power,
running till the midnight hour,
i am a child of the moon.
