Rachmaninoff
Don't question Prem's logic. He's like the Yang of this site. Speaking of which, where's the Yin gotten off to lately?
He decided to break off by virtue of setting his computer up so he can't get to OB. He's still around though as I see him on AIM all the time. Though he's usually set to away for watching anime. lol I'm sure he's found some new site to spend too much time on. XP Anyway, I find the dislike of romance/slice of life anime kind of interesting since I'm the exact opposite. Too much action and that's a total turn off for me. I really dislike shows like DBZ and Naurto. Not because they are necessarily bad, but because I enjoy the other type better.
Zed
I dislike any mecha anime. e.g. Fafner of the Azure. I disliked Inuyasha when I watched it becaused I watched the dubbed version... And, dear God, it was absolutely horrendous! The voices annoyed me to the extent where I felt like stangling the voice actors. Grrr.

FallenAngel127
I'd like to come to Pokemons deffence, because i liked the concept, it's a good idea, but in all the years it's been on, Ash has gotten no where dang it, and he hasn't aged even a little. But i like it, its cute and has plenty of fighting between those adorable little monsters. And i watched it for a while, until they trashed poor Misty. But what ever. One piece (the dubbed version) has picked the most obnoxious, in your face, ringing in your ears voice actor for luffey. It drives me nuts, like to the point of punching the tv then throwing it out the window. And WHY THE HECK IS HE ALWAYS YELLING!!! AND ADDING EXCLAMATION POINTS!!! Its annoying. Bo bo booo bo bo booo Bo bo Bobo bo. Did i add enough bo's? I never got it, I flicked it on, stared, then flicked it off. It is the worse pile o crap that had ever come out of anime and is B-A-D And while i'm up on my rant soap box I'd like to say that there is one thing about Naruto that drives me crazy. BELIVEVE IT! No, Dattebayo. Not Believe it. Man.

Kaiboy
I don't HATE anime for the most part. I have ones I find boring or just can't get into like Corrector Yui for example. But for the most part it's not the series, it's the fans that turn me off to a series such as the acclaimed "Narutards". I have nothing against the series Naruto personally, but the fans ruin it for me a lot of the time.....
Magus
Bleach - It's not particularly bad (It had a lot of potential), but it's really disappointing. It's not as overhyped as Naruto or Inuyasha, but all the same, it's been overhyped enough. I think majority of my disappointment comes from reading the manga first. Btw, I only watch it on Adult Swim. (Last 2 episodes were pretty decent) True, the english version can sound a bit on the crappy side, but the voice work don't bother me that much. (I would've preferred the Ocean group taking over, but "shrugs" ) The artwork/animation is really inconsistent. I try to put my love for good artwork to show some leniency, but there've been episodes where everything can just get real ugly. It's like these long running series has a tendency to just fall flat and just can't have consistent artwork. (Truly bothersome.) And then there's my main disappointment. The action itself. Reading the manga first, I think I set myself up, because I was expecting some fast-paced, intense fighting. The manga had me thinking that these overpowered characters would be really fast (Rurouni Kenshin type stuff), but to see these characters just run (slow), not to mention some of these fights were shown in slow motion (not slow-motion, but it was shown in a slow pace.. Yoruichi v Soi Fon), that really disappointed me. Whatever intensity level there was, just seemed dull. Lately, I've been getting "but the fights later on down the line would suit me more" comments. That maybe true and whatnot, but whose to say that I'm willing enough to wait that long for those later fights? I can be really picky when it comes to anime in general, but for action anime, I [strike]"demand"[/strike] expect greatness. :p If I'm not pleased by the time the arc is at the midpoint, I'm done with it altogether. (Normally, I'm done after 4-5 episodes lol.. So I think that's an improvement XD) Bleach was an exception, because I was waiting for the Ichigo v Byakuya fight. (which was also disappointing) Pacing is horrible too. Bleach has the same issues that Naruto has with it's pacing.. Not to mention it took entirely too long for something to jump off. And I'll stop picking on Bleach for the time being before rattling anymore cages. XD

Mercen-X
Legend of the Crystals: The most memorable moments for me out of this were as follows. Giant guy with tiny sunglasses. Sephiroth-length sword being swung into bare hands. The pulsating glowing panties. Witch Hunter Robin: Why? Why? Why? Why? WHY!? Kill off the other characters, turn off Robin's brain and put her to work. I want those flames to hunt down more witches and I want it now! Where's my action!? OnePiece: With the exception of a few characters (like Tony & Usopp), I like the show, actually. Dragon Ball Z/GT: The show itself... not so stupid. It's mostly Goku and Vegeta that make the stupidity rating lurch off the scales. C'mon. How much power can two guys accumulate? InuYasha: I like Sesshomaru, Shippo, Miroku, Sango, Koga, and even Kohaku... I would've liked to have seen more of Bankotsu. Or maybe I just wish he were good. But I really don't have any severe problem with the show. Naruto: Seems to me they were trying to combine a decent amount of story-telling with a fair amount of action. This makes some of the episodes brim with crappy filler. But I still be fanlisted. I don't like Ghost in the Shell. The underlying plot and the storytelling are too convoluted for me. I feel like an idiot when I watch the show. Maybe I am, but I don't like being made to feel like one. Obviously, that doesn't qualify it as a worst anime... Demon Lord Dante: I didn't like the dub. Wasn't fond of the art-style. The plot made me sick. Maburaho & Magikano: The former is eh-okay. *shrug* The latter is just plain weird. I'm really not sure as to the point or nature of these shows or even the genre they're supposed to be in. I just have major problems with some of the characters and the situations they're put in... just freaking weird. Naturally, I hate Pokemon. That's an obvious choice. I also hated Digimon until the characters started turning into their Digimon. That was interesting. I don't like anything that revolves around a game. Battle B-Damon, Bakugan Brawlers, YU-GI-OH!, hell, I even had tweaks with Megaman which was one of my favorites as a kid. Pretty much any anime that starts with some fresh-face pop-band trying to hype-up what sounds like a toyline or game is one that will quickly die to me. Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo: The name itself does it in. I didn't like the show up until the point when a single word was introduced. Wiggin. To me, this "wiggin" finally explained all the weird things that Bo and friends consistently did to win battles. That at least, made it easier to relax and watch the show just to watch it.
RiaBinx
I really dislike and distaste and whatever word you can come up with for hate: Fruits Basket [anime]: I mean, my god. I think it is a sappy anime. I read the manga and I think it's better than the anime. Inuyasha: Melodramatic. Over-Exaggerating. All people that I know that either hate or love anime decided it on THAT anime and that anime alone. It pisses me off because I have to literally get people that have seen only that anime and hate it, they automatically hate every anime, I have to show them the other anime that is out there. I think it should've been cut from [Adult Swim] instead of Blood+. Pani Poni Dash I have no idea where the writers brought that up from. But, I do know one thing: they should've kept it in that place.
Rick Hunter
Hmm, I've seen way too many bad anime titles in my lifetime. I cringe everytime, I'm forced to review certain titles too. (Don't get me started on having to still write a review of the live action Dragon Ball movie from 1989) -_-... But among the worst these three come to mind: 1.)Naruto: Fan boys are going to lynch me over this one, but the show started out pretty good, had a ton of promise. Then the fillers began....and ran for nearly 2 1/2 years in Japan...To make matters worse the story never goes anywhere half the time. They build up to really big events...and take forever to actually do anything....Literally there were five or so episodes of the main characters running through a forest trying to get to a major battle...that's just...bad...it took at least 15 episodes later before the important stuff happened. To be honest Naruto=DBZ clone....but even DBZ knew you could drag out the "only 5 mins till the planet explodes jank writing, for 15 episodes. Naruto takes that gimmick and drags it on for years....Shippuden is getting worse if anyone has been reading the manga. 2.)Blood +: Lots of promise in the beginning, never lived up to Blood: The last Vampire's name. The series has it's moments, but once you actually get to the end and realize you've not been watching a prequel or sequel...you walk away feeling very jaded. It does have it's moments but the action is boring, and the plot dragged on way too long when 26 episodes could of sufficed. 3.)E.Y.E.S. of Mars: Bad movie, so bad good luck finding it in print. I tried to watch this title two times in the past.....when they did run it on scifi. I fell asleep both times. Got some of the worst dialouge, dubbing, and the plot is just weird... 4.)L.I.L.Y. Cat: : Another bad movie from the 80's, it's basically the thing meets anime. -__- Starts with boring dialouge....halfway through it gets more boring....toward the end...if you've managed to survive sitting through an hour and a half of crap....then I commend you.... 5.)Psychic Force: Ova series based on a two really bad fighting games. The game was crap, the anime was crap. No surprised here, the one noteworthy thing is the anime actually is a prequel to Psychic Force and Psychic Force 2012, and manages to stay faithful to the games...But the games are terrible....so that doesn't make up for much. Ryuzaki40
Hey, I was wondering if I could ask a favor. I'm starting a nostalgia critic-like review, which, for those who don't know, would mean I review good anime, and then review bad anime and make jokes about them, criticize them, and point out flaws. I was wondering if anyone here could give me some anime ideas that most otaku or anime fans in general consider bad or controversial. If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Here are the requirements: 1. The anime must be dubbed. 2. The anime must be online, like on Youtube, where I could download it free. I prefer to get the anime free over buying it, especially if it's a bad anime. 3. The anime CANNOT be hentai, yaoi, yuri, harem, or overly bloody or pornagraphic. Some examples of what I wouldn't want would be Gantz, Bible Black, Elfin Lied, or anything else that, using common sense, would be considered innapropriate. 4. The anime can be a good or bad anime. 5. For a bad anime, 4 or more of these things would make it bad enough. The more these things on this list are in a certain anime, the better it would be to review. These things are: Lack of consistency Strange or out of place lines Plotholes, the bigger, the better controversial material bad manga to anime or anime to movie adaptations unfunny or akward jokes that leave an akward pause jokes that, when listened to a second time, sound threatening or sound like they're referencing sex.(especially if the anime is for younger kids) For a younger kids anime like yugioh or pokemon, scenes of extremley deppressing dialouge, situations, and especially REALLY depressing music (like death note's sad music or naruto's sad music) For a younger kids anime, lots of violence or implied violence (such as during the pokemon movie, where mewto burns the lab, where you can infer that he left all the scientists to burn alive in a horrible death. A KIDS MOVIE!) For a 4Kids anime, there are three words: CENSORSHIP CENSORSHIP CENSORSHIP! It would also be good if the censored and uncensored version are online. (such as the infamous 4Kids version of one piece) Jokes that seem to be ripping off other anime or other shows or people (especially when ripping off bad anime or people or shows) situations, lines, or characters that seem to be ripping off other anime/shows/people References/jokes about real life, espescially when they aren't funny (like in the pokemon movie, where ash mentions the minnesota vikings) Jokes or happy lines that show up right after something horrible happened. (for example, let's say that naruto was murdered, and then it goes right to a party. Kinda like that) Akward editing that leaves you wondering what happened. A lot of coincidences ( like how in naruto where he always is hit and hit and still has strength to fight, or a very powerful or scary or bad *** monster being beaten easily or quickly) I know I said it before, but I'm saying it again: LACK OF CONSITENCY aka PLOTHOLES! PLOTHOLES! PLOTHOLES! Especially from episode to episode, season to season, or even from one part of the episode to another part of the same episode (like unexplained charecters showing up at the last minute to help in a fight or using powers that you never see them talk about or use before) ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING IS EXPOSITION. IN A MOVIE, SOMETIMES THEY EXPLAIN THE STORY A BIT FOR NOOBS TO CATCH ON, USUALLY USING FLASHBACKS OR EXPOSITING IT THROUGH THEIR THOUGHTS. BUT SOMETIMES, THIS MESSES UP, AND THEY GO AND EXPLAIN AND EXPLAIN AND THEY TALK SO MUCH AND TAKE SO MUCH TIME SETTING UP THE PLOT AND HELPING NOOBS CATCH UP, YOU GET BORED BY THE TIME THE ACTION STARTS, OR YOU DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO ANYTHING ELSE. Fake climaxes, such as in Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, where the trailer builds up this HUGE suspense to who this hidden guy is, and then they show it's Rufus RIGHT AWAY, so there isn't any build up or fun in guessing. Last, but definitely not least, UNAPPEALING VISUALS. This can be bad desgin on the part of the editors ( like movements that seem impossible or stiff) as well as lack of voice talent on the part of voice actors, that don't convey enough or convey too much emotion ( like sounding happy during a horrible situation, or seemingly not caring about someone's death, or caring too much, like having so much emotion in their voice that it sounds like it was completely faked). PLEASE MAKE SURE THE ANIME YOU RECOMEND HAS 4 or more of these things THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP PS. I might not be able to review Akira since it's rated R. Also please don't mention anime that everyone knows will suck, and they don't expect it to be serious ( like Bobobo bo bo bo bo) Please don't mention one certain genre of anime, since you might like what others don't, like don't mention sci fi, western, horror in general. Mention specific anime. THAKN YOU ALL!
necrojesta
I really dislike: naruto, bleach, one piece, DBZ, shuffle!, bo bo... whatever it is and most magical girl animes. I am definately very picky but I dont like shuffle! because its too boring and every epsiode is the same, a harem with not a whole lot of storyline. I dont like naruto, one piece, DBZ and bo bo... err whatever because its all the same, someone has to defeat evil people and theirs always someone more powerful than them but they always live anyway either to win the battle with a random powerful strike when their near death or they lose but still live. magical girl animes are just no where near my cup of tea either. i really am picky >.<

Gavin
Evangelion: Dear. Sweet. God. Just how bloody depressed was the person who wrote Evangelion anyway ? Now I have mild OCD (Or CDO to put the letters in alphabetical order) so I'll finish out a normal 26 episode anime even if I don't care too much for the story or character. With Evangelion however, I managed 4 episodes before I simply could not muster the will to continue.
