Anime Worst Anime

But anyways- [B]Crayon Shin Chan[/B]- worst bloody anime ever! I've only seen previews, but I refuse to waste twenty-six minutes of my life that I can never get back. I already do that once a month.

Another one of course is [B]Pokemon[/B]- seriously it cannot take over a decade to catch them all! Even if you had to catch one plus all it's evolutions. I tried to watch it this morning with my daughter and immediately decided to go back to watching Full House on the ABC Family channel. That's how horrid it is now.

im going to agree with that comment even though im a naruto fan o.0, i hated how they talked and talked and talked in a battle, explaining everything over and over again o.o. I hated the fillers, i just skipped them and went straight on to shippuuden :o

Every time I see the Speed Racer Next Generation which they are giving in Nicktoon Network I start twitching madly and fall into a foaming mouth, muscle spasm and eye twitching seizure. I don't know if it counts as an anime. It showed count as a tumor device. If we need to cut down on human numbers in the next couple of years for economy and ecological purposes just re-run Speed Racer on every channel six hours a day and that will cut our numbers in half. If they don't die from seizure, boredom or suicide attempts then they will when trying to reenact some of the car stunts Speed does in the show. The would be special Speed Racer Insurance which protects the owner and the car if they die in the hands of a fool who try to jump over the persons car by pressing a button to activate their home made wheel spring and the button gets stuck or the device doesn't work resulting in the car crashing straight through the other car at 70 mph. Of course the Speed Racer Insurance will cover other Speed Racer reenactment accidents.

Speed is a murderer. He makes people fall off cliffs and make there car get off track with all his little gadgets. He should be arrest other then giving a trophy. He seriously is the old generation's Jigsaw from the SAW movie series. I just hate how he jumps out of the car and gives everyone a thumps up. The voice acting was horrible even if measured in old time dubbing standards. I can't believe they made it into a movie![/COLOR][/SIZE]

[color=green]Haha, people that actually share my thoughts about Evangelion. I'm with SunfallE here. Even I don't know how I manage to get through that entire series. I was already ready to put a hole in my tv during the 2nd episode. People really need to take into consideration whether someone would like that series before suggesting it simply because it "defines" anime. (I could shoot the person for saying that to me.) Unless someone is looking for something that's depressing, I would/could never suggest this series to anyone.

I haven't watched anything lately that I'd call bad seeing how I've been on the cautious side with some of these shows on tv. Mainly Gundam 00 and Gurren Lagann. (which I may give another chance) Code Geass can fit here as well.

Ya, I agree. one of the first anime I'm reviewing is Pokemon. IT JUST SUCKS SO BAD, and I can't wait to review the infamous "jelly donut" scene. (for those who don't know, there's one scene in pokemon where you have to compare the japanese to the english badly. Here's what i mean:

Japanese: Rice ball rolls down hill.
4Kids: Sandwich rolls down hill (IS THAT EVEN PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE??? At least they actually replace the rice ball with the sandwich)

Japanese: Brock eats rice ball, says it's good.
4Kids: BROCK EATS THE SAME RICEBALL, IT LOOKS THE SAME AS THE JAPANESE, AND HE SAYS HOW HE LOVES JELLY DONUTS! AND NOT ONLY DOES HE SAY THIS, BUT HE SAYS THE WORDS "JELLY DOUNUT" OVER AND OVER AGAIN IN THOSE FEW SCENTENCES, LIKE HE'S TRYING TO HAMMER IT IN THAT ITS A JELLY DONUT! WHY JELLY DONUTS? [B]Legend of Duo[/B] is one of those 'so bad it's good' anime that any anime aficionado should watch. It's a cell phone anime with incredibly craptastic animation and a nonsensical story about vampires. however, it's got pretty boys and bl and the main character is a hilariously awesome [B]Tomokazu Sugita[/B] performance. I laughed nonstop through all 12 eps.

haha, that post is very old, but I still do find Inuyasha irritating. The characters don't progress at all in spite of the things that happen to them. You'd think there would have been some development, but nothing ever happens. They spend the whole show cahsing one villain and the same plots are reused and recycled as they go infinitely on toward that goal. The attempts at drama and romantic tension are repetitive and the fight scenes derivative. It's a shame too since Takahashi's other works are much better.

I know it's not fair to judge by one episode, let alone the 1st episode, but I dropped [b]Michiko to Hatchin[/b]. That's one of the worst ways you can possibly start a show. There's nothing good, great, wonderful, awesome about seeing some little girl [spoiler]adopted or whatever she was into a family, only to be treated like garbage.[/spoiler] I didn't like it in Rurouni Kenshin (RK handled it better imo though), and I don't like it here. (And whatever movie I've seen it in.)

Yeah, that type of garbage pisses me off, especially when that person just decides to sit there a take it for so long. And by the time the little girl decided to retaliate was too little, too late. I was already tired of it.

As I've stated, there's nothing hooking, nor interesting in that first episode to make me want to come back for more. And I don't think there's anything people can really say to persuade that either.

I don't understand why you guys are missing the worst one of all time! It was Jungle De Ikou! It was about a chick with ungodly sized boobs that got bigger when she jumped and Jiggled them around in some retarded dance. It had no nude scenes, but was still horrible. It made me want to hate the creator so much. Dont get me wrong, I love big boobs, but not when an anime is solely based around them, wile trying not to seem like there basing the anime on those two Godzilla nokers! It's actually a disappointment to anime!

Oh, and Evangelion is a good anime, sad, yet good.

hahahaha, yes Jungle de Ikou was pretty bad, but I found it less outright terrible and more campy WTF. I mean, I wasn't really sure how to react. And it was dubbed when I saw it too XD. 90s had the budget for anything =_=.

I totally agree with you on Inuyasha, but despite all this, the show still holds a special place in my heart. If the anime had been cut down to 26 episodes instead of 516 or whatever it is, it could have been great. I personally love the romantic tension between Kagome and Inuyasha and I think it could have been more if the show/anime had been cut down and directed somewhere. It might have turned out more like the relationship between Chidori and Sousuke in the second season of Full Metal Panic.

That's what I think, anyway.

A truely terrible anime that I still watch if only for the laughs is Ronin Warriors. It's like a boy's sailor moon, but it has a lot more "Ohhh!"s and "Ahhh!"s freeze frame effects like Speed Racer does. Also, it makes no friggin sense.

[b]Dragonball GT[/b] was one of the worst piles of crappola I've ever seen. Sure, let's take an already tired series and keep it going into a crazy plot that makes no sense and turns everyone into unlikable idiots! That'll work! Even back in the day when I loved DB, I just could not stand DBGT and only continued with it out of loyalty and wanting to see what kind of crap they'd pull next.

Another anime I dislike strongly is [b].hack//Legend of the Twilight[/b]. Now, the manga is adorable and a nice addition to the .hack universe, but the anime is an eyesore. It goes off on this wtf plotline with two of the most annoying protagonists ever, AKA Shugo and Rena. If you were annoyed in [b]Fushigi Yuugi[/b] and [b]InuYasha[/b] with the name-yelling syndrome, then you'll feel right at home with LotT. Also, please note Shugo and Rena are brother and sister, and they [i]really[/i] love each other if you know what I mean. Yeah, the incest tones were not appreciated by me, no sirree bob.
Perhaps I am particularly offended by the LotT anime due to me being such a huge .hack fan otherwise. Therefore, all that is good about .hack is smeared by this anime's existence.

unfunny or akward jokes that leave an akward pause
jokes that, when listened to a second time, sound threatening or sound like they're referencing sex.(especially if the anime is for younger kids)
For a younger kids anime like yugioh or pokemon, scenes of extremley deppressing dialouge, situations, and especially REALLY depressing music (like death note's sad music or naruto's sad music)
For a younger kids anime, lots of violence or implied violence (such as during the pokemon movie, where mewto burns the lab, where you can infer that he left all the scientists to burn alive in a horrible death. A KIDS MOVIE!)
For a 4Kids anime, there are three words: CENSORSHIP CENSORSHIP CENSORSHIP! It would also be good if the censored and uncensored version are online. (such as the infamous 4Kids version of one piece)
Jokes that seem to be ripping off other anime or other shows or people (especially when ripping off bad anime or people or shows)
situations, lines, or characters that seem to be ripping off other anime/shows/people
References/jokes about real life, espescially when they aren't funny (like in the pokemon movie, where ash mentions the minnesota vikings)
Jokes or happy lines that show up right after something horrible happened. (for example, let's say that naruto was murdered, and then it goes right to a party. Kinda like that)
Akward editing that leaves you wondering what happened.
A lot of coincidences ( like how in naruto where he always is hit and hit and still has strength to fight, or a very powerful or scary or bad *** monster being beaten easily or quickly)
I know I said it before, but I'm saying it again: LACK OF CONSITENCY aka PLOTHOLES! PLOTHOLES! PLOTHOLES! Especially from episode to episode, season to season, or even from one part of the episode to another part of the same episode (like unexplained charecters showing up at the last minute to help in a fight or using powers that you never see them talk about or use before)
ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING IS EXPOSITION. IN A MOVIE, SOMETIMES THEY EXPLAIN THE STORY A BIT FOR NOOBS TO CATCH ON, USUALLY USING FLASHBACKS OR EXPOSITING IT THROUGH THEIR THOUGHTS. BUT SOMETIMES, THIS MESSES UP, AND THEY GO AND EXPLAIN AND EXPLAIN AND THEY TALK SO MUCH AND TAKE SO MUCH TIME SETTING UP THE PLOT AND HELPING NOOBS CATCH UP, YOU GET BORED BY THE TIME THE ACTION STARTS, OR YOU DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO ANYTHING ELSE.
Fake climaxes, such as in Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, where the trailer builds up this HUGE suspense to who this hidden guy is, and then they show it's Rufus RIGHT AWAY, so there isn't any build up or fun in guessing.
Last, but definitely not least, UNAPPEALING VISUALS. This can be bad desgin on the part of the editors ( like movements that seem impossible or stiff) as well as lack of voice talent on the part of voice actors, that don't convey enough or convey too much emotion ( like sounding happy during a horrible situation, or seemingly not caring about someone's death, or caring too much, like having so much emotion in their voice that it sounds like it was completely faked).

PLEASE MAKE SURE THE ANIME YOU RECOMEND HAS 4 or more of these things

EDIT: I can kinda see some peoples age in this thread. I tend to watch certain stuff and when it comes on again I'l go why in the **** did I ever watch this ****? I remember back in the day all the shows where pretty good. You cannot beat 90s TV. The WB and Fox had good lineups, Then WB came out with Fraturdays. IF I woke up at 12pm on a Saturday and/or Sunday I'd be mad as hell.

DBZ just got played out for me, I did watch GT and Dragonball and they all where just too boring to watch especially when CN would reair episodes for no reason. It's like Krillan told 18 he loves her what is she gonna say, then Bam the episode where Goku is just beginning to fight Freeza airs or some crap I didnt like the new Sonic, the original and Underground was better Same with Megaman. I remember when CN used to air the original Speed Racer way in the morning had to be like 4am. I usually love watching the Mech anime, but that one Gundam where they where like these tiny chibi like things and led by a cheap looking Wing 0 sucked badly.

Then we cant forget TechTV also aired anime, they might not have gotten through asn entire season of anyshow besides RODtv(which they must loved as they aired the movie and whatever other show thats related). I got into Gadgaurd but they didnt air it all or I missed it alot. But back on subject BLue sub 6 was boring even though I had the odacitry to record it on VHS. The movie I did, I think either way it sucked, Witch Hunter Robin sucked. I missed to much of BLood+ and started getting confused. Deathnote got boring although my finacee liked it. Ahh it was the Blue Gender movie I think I recorded, it and the series sucked strangely GITS a much similar like show, I liked. I'm gonna say thid proudly; I want Cubix to reair. And Reboot although its not anime needs to come back 1st to last episode showing every episode in order, gotta make that clear for CN, they dont understand a series has to be aired like that sometimes.

I should've taken this post a lot more serious than I did, but curiousity kills. This other forum I go to talks about this series almost as much as, we'll say people talking about Rurouni Kenshin. (I won't go as far to say Bleach or Naruto.) So I had to see what the hoopla was about.

So I checked out [b]Ikkitousen: Great Guardians[/b] thinking that it was going to be an improvement of what Rach stated. There's some parts of me that wants to keep watching because this first fight in the first episode is the type of fighting I look for in anime. The animation is consistent (atleast it is of what I've seen so far of it.), and character models look good. (No I'm not being a perv) Judging from that first fight there was no hideous looking character.

What could've possibly killed this anime for me? The fanservice. Seriously, the first 30 seconds of the opening fight you are showered with breast and panty shots. Going a little deeper into the episode all I saw was jiggling breast, panty shot, breast grabbage. It's ridiculous.

Edit:[size=1] I also checked out [b]Ikki Tousen[/b] a little bit earlier (stupid), and, wow, comparing that 1st season and Great Guardians together, it's almost like GG is a different series altogether, animation-wise. The animation is horrible in the first season or whatever it is. Everything else is pretty much the same though.[/size]
