Charles
Shy and I have decided to resurrect one of the most revolutionary and underappreciated RPGS to ever grace OtakuBoards--Final Quest for Glory. Due to the nature of the RPG, I am unable to go into too much depth about the secret features at work here; we would like for it to be a surprise. However, Shy and I have been toiling over this game for hours and those who we have trusted to "test" the RPG have walked away extremely impressed. Together we have managed to create a three dimensional playspace that transcends the traditional OtakuBoards RPG format. What we have come up with is revolutionary, but we wanted to make sure that it would be extremely simple and easy to play. Please forgive the rather plain-looking sign-up thread. We currently have an artist working on some official artwork for the game that I think you will all like. Anyway, as I said, the RPG is very easy and fun to play. Everyone is welcome. So, sign up and give it a try!
Sandy
I have to say you've piqued my interest, but with so little being said about this game, it's not certain you'll get people to sign up... ... Oh, who am I kidding? Just the names of you two are enough to pull hundreds of members in! ;P Anyway, innovation is always good in this section, and for that, count me in. Raiha
Having been in the original, I can only assume that I'm obligated to be here again. Oh well, it won't kill me to be a part of this again. Or will it? Definitely not, especially if Shy and I get to have fun. Since I've decided to be both sexually ambiguous, male, and with the elemental ability to see through people's clothing...

Boo
I avoided the whole title and just went by the alternative route: Charles' signature. Does this give me a bigger advantage if I end up participating in the RPG?
Wondershot
On the off chance that you are still looking for participants, I'd like to participate in this as well. The title, as well as its authors, admittedly piqued my interest.

Shy
I like your font color. You're in. We are still accepting sign-ups. Although the final list of players haven't been compiled yet we will be much more critical of any future sign-ups, so be careful. We are looking for a wide variety of personalities and writing styles here, so we've decided to ask all future sign-ups to please answer the following three questions: 1) What is your element of power? 2) Who taught you how to ride a bike? 3) When do Your answers will be extremely helpful in letting us decide the final group. Also, Charles may decide to add or remove questions as this thread progresses. Thank you to everyone who has been supportive so far; I know signing up for such a mysterious project can be daunting, but hopefully we can have a lot of fun with this! -Shy
Malkav
1. Shadow 2. The concrete...after a few skinned knees you actually get scared enough not to fall anymore. I stopped riding my bike when I tried to jump someone's roof. I miss the days before youtube when I could do stupid stuff just because it was there to do, not to get attention from strangers. 3. When do leaves fall off of trees? Late autumn. Around that time the weather's perfect
Allamorph
I am officially curious.
1)[/b'] What is your element of power?
Thought. It's the most powerful asset I possess. Though if you mean elemental element, that'd be fire, from both the destructive and constructive aspects. (That last one is quite important.)
2) Who taught you how to ride a bike?
I did. My father gave me a few pointers, but one really has to grasp the concept oneself.
3) When do
Well, mostly But sometimes And then there's So, basically
Gavin
1) What is your element of power? I share it with Chuck Norris: Surprise 2) Who taught you how to ride a bike? My dad, it was a painful experience for both of us. Nerdsy
I'll have everyone know that it wasn't the magnetism that drew me in. I'm no sheep. Rather, I was begged to join, and I just couldn't say no to Shy's puppy dog eyes.
1) What is your element of power? 2) Who taught you how to ride a bike? 3) When do
1. The element of dance. 2. This boyfriend of my mom's. He taught me through trickery. I thought he was behind me holding me and making sure I didn't fall. I could have crashed! I've never forgiven him for it. 3. I refuse to answer such a straightforward question! Can't you come up with something at least a little vague? This feels so restricting.
Ellerby
This looks sweet. Count me in, for sure. 1) What is your element of power? Well, I really have had an attraction to Os (76, Osmium) my whole life. I don't know... I just always liked the way "OSM" sounds. 2) Who taught you how to ride a bike? My dad, I think. I don't really remember... 3) When do Cats respond most readily? To names that end in an "ee" sound. Ezekiel
1) What is your element of power? Empathy, something we all have but scarcely embrace. 2) Who taught you how to ride a bike? I can't, simple as. Despite my parents best efforts such an unstable, frail looking contraption could never keep my interest. Engel
Interesting, for sure. What is your element of power? A wise man learns from the mistakes of others. Take that as you will. I take it as, Knowledge is power. Who taught you how to ride a bike? I taught myself through skinned knees. My dad never had the time. Shy
Okay, we've decided to begin FQFG2! Everyone has been accepted based on their sign-up, and will be assigned to post in one of two different Underground Threads for the project. You will know which Underground thread you are supposed to post in based on a briefing you should receive via PM shortly. I should mention that sign-ups are not closed, and based on the nature of this project it is no problem to allow so many members to participate. If anyone would like to join at any point during this whole shindig, they are more than welcome to. -Shy
TheResplendent
Well why not. Summer vacation is finally kicking in and with a lighter work schedule I should be able to undertake one or two more RPs. 1) What is your element of power? The only element in life with the power to overcome anything and everything when used properly. Intellegence. 2) Who taught you how to ride a bike? Ha, here comes a different answer i'm sure. I didn't learn as a child, but rather as a high school student. Taught by a friend of mine just years before getting my permit. 3) When do? Ah yes, indeed this question begs the neccesity for the deliberation of every perspective in considering the possibilities of the side of the story that is told by the party who have already taken carefully how to answer the question with apparent ease and care. Therefore I take that stand on this and add to it the all important factor of knowing that it will take the greatest long-term effect to the desireable result for everyone involved, despite the potential for short-term backlash in order to pave the way for the greater good.
