The Inevitable O-Lounge Blondes Vs Brunettes!

My hair is brown, and it's prett much straight until it reaches my ears, and then it starts being curly. Well, sort of. My fringe has a tendency to corkscrew when I haven't had it cut in a while...

I'm mostly attracted to girls with dyed hair. I like it when there are a few prominent streaks of green or dark red or electric blue through the fringe. It excites my indie sensibilities.

[font=garamond][color=green]Well personally I am a brunette, but my hair is really dark (damn my dads genetic genes). I also have very very very dark brown eyes that almost seen black. Personally I love my hair color, just not my hair lol, but l really hate my eye color. I like brown just not as dark as mine. As far as blond goes I never really liked that color, though I do have to admit Tamaki from Ouran High School Host Club is so freakin hot with his blond hair and blue eye look. For some reason though I find myself more attracted to guys with dark hair. Yeah I think its the whole dark haired guys are mysterious, but a guy with brown hair that I can run my fingers through and with light color eyes (blue, green, grey, hazel) gets me every time. I get weak all over for these types of guys, they're just tooooo cute :catgirl:. But then I have dark haired guys with glasses like Kyouya fron Ouran High School Host Club and he's so freakin hot too. And we didn't even get into red heads lol. I've never actually met a guy with red hair, but I know of girls with red hair were also really hot that made me so envious of them. Orange hair kind of falls under red doesn't it? Isn't a much lighter shade of red? I dunno but Kyo from Fruits Basket has orange hair and he kind of turns me on too. I think it just has to be the overall package. But for arguments sake here since I have brown hair I'm going to have to go with Brunette's rule!!!:catgirl: [/font][/color]

Oh and I never did care which color when I did date. My ex had wavy brown hair when we met, dated and then eventually got married. Though his has turned gray as well.

One other thing... there really is only one brunette joke (that I know of) and that is...Why are there so many blonde jokes? So the brunettes have something to talk about. ;)

Most of my friends and people who I like *cough* all had either dark or medium-dark hair colour. It actually doesn't really depend on the hair colour, but to me, guys with darker hair are more appealing than ones with the lighter.

I'm a brunette myself, so it's more of a already made decision, lol. But, I seriously like brunettes better than blondes because I think they're more attractive than the latter. I mean, yeah sure, most guys have blonde hair and I've met some really smart ones, but the ones with darker hair are more appealing and have more personality/wit in them, which is what I look for in a guy.

Not saying I don't like blonde guys, because I have lots of friends with blonde hair. Just saying brunettes are more my type and more fun.

Frankly, guys, you do nothing to help my inferiority complexes, lol. Yes, it is a widely accepted fact that brunettes are more attractive to people, and that's cool. But blondes are always portrayed as sluts or idiots. They always seem to be the villians of the piece. This attitude makes Jesus cry, people. DO YOU WANT JESUS TO CRY?

So, in conclusion, I am a blonde. I am more attracted to guys with dark hair, but since blonde is a recessive gene [and it's expected that there will be no natural blondes by the yea 2200], I will no doubt do my part for the 'ayran race' and marry a blonde in order to have blonde children and prolong the eventual downfall.[img]http://otakuboards.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img]

Anyway, like I said, I don't think I find blondes necessarily less attractive... I simply know fewer of them. And of course, even the blond-haired people I knew when I was young have darker hair now. I think most people even associate [i]really[/i] (naturally) blonde hair with youthfulness. I know people who had white-blond hair as children who have brown (or even dark brown) hair now.

One of my favorite things, as far as hair colors go, is that funny in-between brown/blond/red that you see in a lot of people of Scandinavian descent. I just think it's really visually interesting and pleasing.[/color]

I mean, if the same kind of people have the same kind of babies, nothing special will come out. So while they may be pretty, it's in a very standard and commercial way. After all my ex had brown hair, I have dark brown hair and I still had a blonde daughter. :catgirl: I don't know how that works, but Aaryanna's older sister has brown hair where she has blonde. It's a family thing, my sister has blonde hair and she has one daughter with blonde hair and one with brown.

Oh and forget the silly idea that blonde's aren't special or unique. I guarantee you, if you have a child like Aaryanna, you'll know exactly what I mean. Stereotyping is pigheaded and stupid, as well as being rude. And Aaryanna is nothing like what people think blonde's are.

It might just be me being a foreign race looking at white people in general, because I know a lot of white people who think all Asians look the same.

But my mom...yeah, she gets tired of it since some people have been pretty rude to her since I'm pretty opinionated about my right to not be religious as well as other things. Even to the point that she's had fellow so called christians come over to our house and attempt to lecture her on how she should be bringing up her disrespectful daughter. And that has included references to me being a stupid blonde as well. >_<

So yeah...in the end I think it bothers her more than it does me. lol Also you're right, it's hard for me to tell Asian people apart. They do look very similar to me where blondes and white people are far easier for me to see all the differences. ^_~[/COLOR]
