After a few minutes they met up in the lobby. Iris-Anyone found anything? Liam-I found a secret passage in the bathroom that leads to some sort of sewer. Siren-Great! Let's move out! [I]Meanwhile, in Meteo City...[/I] An apartment near the shopping district. A newly-wed couple of hybrids is decorating their new home. The wife, turns on their new TV just in time to see a special bulletin. Wife-Honey, come quickly! The Mayor is going to give a speech! The Mayor, who was known to have a proud and happy smile whenever he gave speeches, had a face of intense rage this time. Dr. Mulray and Cyo could be seen on the background, with evil smirks on their faces. Mayor-For years, humans have been the dominating species on the planet. A few centuries ago, thought, this all changed. How, you ask? With us, the hybrids. I've seen many small groups attacking our species for years, and now I have decided to take action! Husband-*Claps* Now THAT is a true leader! Mayor-I have decided to fund and legalize the actions of those hate groups! Wife-WHAT!? Mayor-We hybrids are no more than scum of the lowest kind. We deserve to be extinguished. So, starting tomorrow at 9:00 AM, all hybrids will lose each and every right they once had. Use of hybrid abilities will be punished with execution. And everyone who hires hybrids for their companies and industries will be forced to fire them on the spot! Husband-WHAT THE HELL? Wife-*Faints* Mayor-The only hybrids that won't be affected by this will be the ones who donate themselves to the hybrid DNA project. That is all. Mulray-(Perfect...) Liam: I guess it's just the kids then...the really young ones. Chole: Should I go get them? Siren: Let's wait until the sun starts going down...then we'll break for it. Liam: It's a shame though that we never really got to explore the town much. Chole: Forget this place...it was obviously a trap from the beginning. Siren: I never could have imagined that they would turn out to be a bunch of hybrid haters. Iris: No matter now... Siren: Ready? Chole: Anytime... Siren: GO! [i]Night breaks through the wooden rooftop with his head, his wings shielding Rena and Roux from the splinted edges. They make their way up high into the sky and take off...[/i] Pi: That takes care of phase one... [i]Pi jumps into the hole next to the fallen toilet bowl, followed by Liam, Rev, Siren, Iris, and Chole...before the protesters could break their way inside. Pi: The readings are off the scale on my scanners...we must be close to a septic tank of some sort... [i]They keep walking slowly towards the darkness, the horrid odors getting stronger. The group coveres their mouths with their hands, cloth, anything they could find.[/i] Liam: You don't think there could be anything around here that could harm us...could there? Chole: Besides the gas...I don't know... [i]They hear something approaching behind them.[/i] Iris: *looks behind her* OMG! Siren: Just Run! [i]The group takes off...water rushing in behind them.[/i] Pi: They must've figured it out that we're down here... [i]They near the opening of the pipe and start to slow down, the water level rising up to their knees.[/i] Iris: Ahhahaaaa! Chole: Don't run too fast...we might miss the safety rails. Siren: If they were smart enough to make them... [i]Pi walks ahead and finds a huge room, filled with a cesspool and two paths surrounding it. He shines his light around the room and signals to the others.[/i] Pi: Run towards the left! Don't fall in! [i]The group runs to where Pi's position is and they stop.
