Interesting that you would start a topic like this Allamorph. lol Anyway, even though I don't eat fruit very often I like watermelon, strawberries, pears, peaches, fuji apples and especially nectarines. Those are the absolute best when the are ripe but still firm enough to be crunchy a bit. Though I don't like any fruit I eat to be on the soft side. Oh and pineapple is good occasionally.
Interesting that you would start a topic like this Allamorph.
What? I can't just talk about random stuff when I feel like it? Speak up, boy!
I have a soft spot for plums, but I've never actually had one....
How interesting. Rach's never played Clue, and you've never had a plum. I am extremely amused.

Both, however, are terrible, horrible fallacies that must be rectified As Soon As Possible. Clurr, buy [strike]a plum[/strike] several plums and eat them. indifference, whack Rach mercilessly until he plays Clue with you. (A third person makes the game a little more enjoyable, I think. Six makes it very interesting.)

I have never had a pomegranate, though, and I have not found a place locally that sells them ? or grows them, for that matter. I can say that blueberry *pomegranate* soda is quite tasty, so I feel only partially slighted. I also intensely dislike honeydew melons, simply because of their sickly sweet taste. I can't stand them. I also can't stand coconut, but I haven't figured out why yet.
...along with lemons which I never realised people actually ate as a fruit by itself.
You mean you haven't ever eaten a lemon? Wow.

I wouldn't call it a good snack food, but two or three slices aren't half bad.

Pineapples in vanilla ice cream is amazing. I prefer my peaches in my Cheerios, but they're pretty good solo as well. Strawberries are great if you have some melted (dark?) chocolate or some confectioner's sugar to dip them in.

About the only thing I can definitely say about apples is that the Rome variety is terrible. Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, an Granny Smith (also known as Green?) apples are all great in their own right, and I don't think I can hold one higher than the other. Grapples disturb me....

Oh, and BK? That's depressing. You have my sincere sympathies.
I like anything, except tomatoes.
It's okay, I like tomatoes enough for both of us.

My dad used to eat them with sugar, which I could never bring myself to try... They're pretty ace with salt, though.

I personally would choose fruits over junkie food to snack on, the ones I usually go for:

- apples: the green ones, awesomeness
- grapes: the black ones, not the red ones or greens
- oranges: more awesome than a green apple
- kiwis
- bananas: not the green ones though.
- persimmons
- watermelons

yea, now all I'm waiting for it's the 500 point bonus when I eat them.

the fruits I love to avoid:
- seeded cherries: I dont like to spit when eating fruit
- raspberries: too tart for felix
- cranberries: also too tart for felix
- strawberries: try getting them shoved into your mouth by your girlfriend before your last tennis match >_<

I have some sort of fruit all the time. My personal favorites being nectarines and strawberries. So far the only fruit I tried and didn't like at all was honey dew melon. But everything else is usually fair game. I may not like it a lot but so far the only one I truly disliked was the honey dew.

Oh and I do not like fruit in heavy syrup, dipped in chocolate or anything like that. I like it plain and fresh if at all possible. If I can't get it like that then I just don't have any.

Oh and one other thing, red delicious apples, in season straight from the orchard are really, really good. They only seem to taste like wood if they've been stored and brought out later. So I always enjoy those when its that time of year for them around here.
