Ok during the summer months I normally shave my private area to lower sweatyness. But recently I cut my penis and had to go to the hospital, I'm all healed up but my pubic hair is growing back and am having trouble deciding if I should cut it or not..... This may seem stupid to some but I really am having trouble with this help is much appreciated.

I got the impression that using one on your face is ok with our facial structure and all, but yeah it's pretty much just flesh down in the manhood. I'm happy you lived. I say just take it slow with a safety razor next time and don't be afraid to use scissors for those tricky areas. Please buy your own pair of scissors.

I used to do that as a "courtesy" to the lady's I was 'with'. I am actually over due for a trim now.

Use small scissors and cut low. Razors usually spell bad news because the risk of cutting yourself with a vibrating object is too dangerous. It might take longer, but hey, it gets the job done with a lot less stress. Pull hair, snip, repeat. It's that easy. Maybe not as close a shave as you'd like, but atleast you won't be visiting the doctor with any embarrassing injuries.[/color][/size]

Honestly, I see nothing "mature" about this "conversation", heh. ;P

It will become mature if I we start to discuss about scissor fetishism, where one gets kicks out of somebody cutting his/her underwear while s/he's wearing them, but I don't anyone really wants to talk about [I]that[/I]...

But yeah, shaving pubic hair is a pain in the butt (especially when you shave your butthair, heh) - the outcome will look nice and clean for a day, then the cruciating itch begins, and sooner than soon it'll be the same untidy bush it was before. *rolls eyes*

Nowadays, I stick to trimming my body hair with scissors. It erases most of the risks.

All kidding aside, I would say, the shorter the better. You can't "shave" long hair. If you wait until your pubes (or any hair for that matter) is grotesquely long, then shaving is out of the question. Trying to shave it hten will result in making contact and sometimes catching a part of the hair other than close to the root, which will most likely pull instead of cut. You have to first trim it. I would recommend using something like what barbers use to level down your hair, that [url=http://scissors.razor-scissors.com/electric_hair_clippers/electric_hair_clippers.htm]electric razor[/url] that doesn't work like shaving blades.

Once the hair is short enough, HOT water. This is more important than shaving cream (I'm talking from facial hair experience, but hair is hair), as it opens the pores and makes the hair more compliant.

Finally, although seemingly counterintuitive, try your best to use a sharp blade. It creates less trouble and a cleaner cut, which means less frequency of going over the same spot which equals less chance for hurting yourself.[/COLOR]

And, haha. I had a friend that shaved his *** hairs once. He said about the same thing. Good for a day, but then it itches like a mother. It was quite funny when he told me and my friends.... then i kinda just thought he was crazy for doing it anyways. I mean... was somebody fiddling with his... nevermind.

I suppose if you really think you need it shaving there is a good idea, even if I don't see it. Anyway... definately stick to scissors. Oh and I'd get ones that the tips aren't pointy. Just one slip and you'd be in a world of hurt.

If it gets long, trim it down with a scissor before starting to shave. It would probably be easier (and less painful) if you do it in the shower with water running over after you take each swipe. I've noticed that I keep going over one area because I believe there is still hair there, although it is just hair that is cut but did not go on the razor.[/SIZE]
