Lionheart
Oblivion Alexander, Capital of Arcadia The sun broke through the barriers of the blinds as it hit the tanned skin of a young man?s face. The man twitched as he awoke from his dreamy sleep. More sunlight broke through as the light beamed on him. He grinded his teeth as he grew tired of the light. Then he snapped. The busy alleyway was busier then ever as people rushed to attain their goods. A mailman from the royal castle marched through the poor side of the city and made his way to a torn up house that was seized between two other houses. He climbed the steps and cleared his voice before knocking. Before he curled his knuckles, he heard a silent roaring from inside. ?I?m tired of this Crappy Window!!? A blue light shinned between the cracks of the door and the window on the side. A large explosion boomed throughout the small alley, blowing rocks and smoke everywhere. The alley people paid no attention as they were use to the violent outburst of the sorcerer, Leon. The mailman laid on the ground, his nose bleeding terribly. His hand, holding an envelope, stood up from his body. ?D-e-l-i-v-e-r-y?.? He mumbled as half of his body was covered in bricks and material from the house. Leon snatched the message and didn?t care so much if the man was injured or not. He ripped it up and scanned the message carefully. Dear, Leon Gatesway The Royal Family of Arcadia would like to invite you to lunch. We would like to discuss further matters on our country?s future. We hope to see you here? And yes, the lunch is free.... Sorry this message isn't a 'grande' one, but hey, it works. Your friend, King Malomantre Leon made a scowl as he threw the message at the unconscious deliveryman. He knew they were going to ask for help on the war, only a matter of time. He sighed as he got dressed. Bout time he do something for the kingdom. He left into the street, towards the castle, unknowing what really awaits him. OOC: Im sorry this took so long guys, but I've been busy with my other RP. I finally got this up though. For the beginning, your character has just recieved the letter from the king and is headed to the castle for lunch. After that, the fun begins.
konske
heh, I didn't even realize that it was up. Dang, I need to pay more attention.. Tula looked around and then sighed. This was her sixth town that she had been in since the week before. She looked around. Slowly, she smiled to herself, this was the first town that noone really seemed to pay any attention to her. She actually felt a little releaved at that. She walked around town and then sat down on a bench. She had been walking alot, and she was getting tired. She leaned back into the bench and slowly started to close her eyes. She was about to drift off to sleep but then there was a loud rumble and then a small explosion. She watched the guy yell and walk out of the house, and then read the letter from the mailman. She shook her head as she slowly stood up. She walked over to the house and then looked at the hole in the side. She bent down and placed her hands on the ground. In one swift motion, she scraped her hands and then pulled them slightly off the ground. A small blue aura appeared around her, and then the bricks and peices of wood started to float. In a flash, the side of the building fixed itself and went back to the original state. She smile and then started to walk off as two guards walked in front of her. "Excuse me, but our King and Queen would like you to come to luch with them. This is not really an option, so, if you don't mind, please fallow us." The guard in front pointed twards the castle. Tula frowned and then started walking, heading twards the castle. "Maybe I should have left the house alone. Aw man, now what have I done?" She wispered to herself as the guards led her down the path to the castle for lunch.
Zephyr
OOC: Sorry about the delay in posting. Just noticed it up a few days ago, and been hectic since then. So, let's have some fun. A scene of pure calm and tranquility spread itself out before Alno'dra. Though his eyes were closed he could see every detail of the room around him, having spent many long days meditating within. Overall the room was large, spanning nearly fifty feet across, and half that high. In the very center was a small, open structure, octagonal in shape with a domed roof supported by pillars at the eight corners. Surrounding this structure was a "sea of stones," pure white in color and roughly half the size of a human fist. The landscape was only part of the beauty and tranquility. The air was alive with the sweet perfume of various flowers, which clung to vines creeping along the pillars and the edge of the domed roof. From three points in the distance came the sound of water running from high in room's ceiling to three artificial ponds amid the stone sea. Calmly sitting at the very heart of the room, within the eight-sided "garden," as it was often referred to, was Alno'dra. In front of him was a young child, clad in a full white robe, who also sat, facing toward Alno'dra. It was hard to distinguish past the light from the roof above, but a careful observer could notice that the air between them seemed to glow a dim yellow, and even wavered as though it had been heated. For a time nothing disturbed this tranquility. Sadly, as with all tranquility in a world or chaos, this was not to last. The sound of footsteps echoed down the hall to the room. Alno'dra did not show even a hint that he had noticed, however the child in front of him unconsciously fidgeted in a barely noticeable way. The aura in the air changed in response. From a dull yellow it split into two, a bright yellow from Alno'dra, and a dull red from the child. In a matter of seconds it dissipated. It was at this time that Alno'dra spoke, still in a meditative spot. "Why have you broken away, She'Ari?" In response the soft voice of a young girl replied from beneath the robe's hood. "My apologies, Master Alno'dra. I lost focus when the quiet was broken by the footsteps." "You must learn to drown out such disruptions. If you wish to properly utilize your spirit's power you need to be able to stay focused even if a war were to start around us in this very room." Alno'dra could hear the rustling of She'Ari's robe as she bow her head to the ground in apology. "For today we will have to call off the lessons. It seems I have a guest to attend to. I would like you to practice your focus until the next lesson." "I understand, Master Alno'dra." With that She'Ari bowed again, and made her way across the stones, none of which so much as shifted while she walked across them. Alno'dra silently smiled at this. She'Ari was a talented child, picking up things that even she did not notice. Alno'dra finally opened his eyes to the sight of a red-robed adept standing at the edge of the stones, he dared not enter. Next to him was a gentleman who appeared to be from the king's court. "Why have you interrupted the training session?" The adept kneeled and looked down. "I bring apologies, but this man insisted that I lead him to you at once. He refused to listen to reason." The man from from the court looked visually annoyed at this, and spoke up instantly. "I have come bearing a message from my lord, King Malomantre. Alno'dra your presence is requested at the castle for a meal. The king would like to speak with you." With fluid grace Alno'dra stood and began to walk silently across the stones. "So, you felt the need to barge in on private matter to invite me to dine? I would have expected better manners from our beloved king." The messenger did not take kindly to this, but did not receive the chance to talk back. "Very well, I will follow you." Alno'dra looked over at the adept. "Please inform She'Ari that I may be gone for a while. She is to continue her basics until I return, or she may be assigned another master to work on advanced studies." With that the adept withdrew and Alno'dra followed the messenger down the hall. OOC: In retrospect, I'm not sure that "Adept" is the right term to use there, but I blanked on a more appropriate one. GothikMoon
"If it is your wish." Adrielle slowly bowed her head and walked out the door. This was a huge surprise to her. It had been ages since anyone of such great authority and importance had called upon the Master to send one of her priestesses to the castle. It must be something of great importance. Quickly, she ran to her room and started to pack. She hadn't many clothes, or anything at all really. All she really owned was her staff, bow and arrows, and a few herbal remedies she had made. *Well, I guess this will have to do. Hopefully it'll be enough. I'll just pick some fruits on the way.* Throwing everything into an old brown back pack and holding her staff, she was ready for a very, very short journey. Too bad it was going to take two days.. ------------------------------------------------ The sweet burst of flaver and juice ran down her throaght as she ate the ripened peach. Normally, she would never think of stealing from someones garden before, but this was an exception. She hadn't aten in nearly two days, and she was about to DIE! Ok, maybe not die, but fall over at least. She thought it would be easy finding food, but boy was she wrong! Every time she found somwthing edible, an adorible little starving animal would beg for it, and she couldn't resist helping the little guys. So, now she's stuck stealing, I mean "barrowing" other peoples food. After finishing he peach, Adrielle was back on her way. Fortunetly the castle was only a few more miles to go. A large smile quickly darted across her face as she aprouched the castle. She had finally made it! Suddenly, she remembered what she looked like. When she first started her journey, she looked great, but after two days of traveling and scrounging the forest for food, she didn't look so hot. "Umm...excuse me mr. gaurd sr, but I was sent here by the king." The gaurd looked her over and smiled. "Well then, go right ahead." "Thank you." "Oh, and there's a shower you can use on the second floor. Just ask Maricia to show you." Adrielle smiled brightly and boweed. "Oh thank you, thank you!" "Hurry on now, the King doesn't like to wait." "right." The guards slowly opened the doors, and maids were waiting to usher her inside. She wasn't used to so much attention, acually it was almost frightning, but no matter, she had more important things to worry about. "Are one of you Maricia by the way?" "I am she. Do you need something?" "Acually, I was wondering, if it wasn't to much trouble, i mean f you wanted too.." "Yes?" "Could you...possible...take me to a shower?" "Oh, well oof course. Right this way." She quickly followed the young maid up the windind staircase, and into a small room. "The bathroom is to your left, I'll wash and fix your dress while you get ready...oh, and the king would like you to meet him for lunch. In about an hour." "Ok, and thank you." The maid bowed and smiled.
