Discuss Shinigami Dance: Playground of Deities

All right, just like it says at the end of my post with the tag, SunfallE is going to finish up that bit in the Internet cafe. She's going to go over what our characters find and that's going to end up giving them some information in regards to the 'Count' who's holding Aeru. I'm not completely sure how she's going to do it though, I just set things up like she asked me to. ;)

There is more of course but I didn't see a reason to be too specific.

Also an important thing to note, just as Allamorph had the Vampires take Nathan's and Adrian's things briefly, so can Lucia's things be taken. However, due to the nature of how the technology works, no one but Lucia can use them. So it wouldn't do them any good. Well other than to annoy Lucia that is. ^_~[/FONT][/COLOR]

I left it open for you to of course have Nathan ask Victor more if you wish. Adrian is of course still quite furious over not being warned in advance about the vampires and at the same time he's still holding back since Nathan asked him to.

Also, you'll have to live with my attempt to do a fake accent. I tend to avoid that since I'm no good at it. That's part of why it took me so long to get around to posting. Since I wasn't sure how to have Victor respond. :p

Hey, I was just making up the dialect bit. (Snidely speaking, you could have just copied my format, but eh.) That's why I made direct mention of the disappearing 'R's ? I have no idea how to accurately write that sound, or even the thicker 'ch' syllable.

In case you're wondering, I'm using the accent of the main villain in [I]Johnny English[/I]; it's the best one I've heard, so I mimic it as much as I can when I do faux French.

It's not necessary. So long as you're getting Adrian down fairly well, there's no need to worry. I'll only squawk if you have him do something that totally goes against his nature. And right now, you're not even close to doing that.

So roll with it and have Nathan drag the conversation out, if anything that will annoy Adrian and make him more inclined to clobber several vampires on his way out. [/COLOR]

Seriously, though, I am trying my hardest to avoid the personality "gray area". I dislike writing actions/thought for a character that they ohhhhhhh, [I]maybe[/I] would have done. That's not them, then. That's someone else similar to them.

See, some scenes'll be fine from just Nathan's perspective, but others might require me to jump between people, and if I don't keep them differentiated, what's so different from me just flat out godmodding them? Add to that that they're not my characters, and you see the reasoning behind my neurosis. :animeswea

Anyway... I know you put thought into getting someone's character right instead of just tossing things in there. So I'm saying you worry too much since I know you don't do god modding. You actually think about how they would respond and try to be true to their character. Honestly, you've already gotten him down really well. You'd have to do some sort of abrupt twist to totally lose how Adrian would respond.

I enjoy your posts for the simple reason that you do put more thought into it, so even if something is slightly off, it's fine since it's rare for it to actually be enough to be a problem.

As for Adrian giving Nathan grief, that's going to be fun since as I said, right now he's seriously annoyed. Heh.[/COLOR]

Anywho, Nathan is moderately suspicious of Victor L'Envers's information at the moment, especially since he didn't appear to know the specifics of the abduction ? the legitimacy of which Nathan heavily doubts. At present, he wishes to regroup and compare/contrast, thought now that he's thoroughly ticked Adrian off....

Victor L'Envers is a Hidden, I believe, though he may be connected to the Seras Valkyrie. Time and our whims shall tell us.

For now, I move that the Hidden not be included in the information Lucia dredged up. Not only does that throw more suspicion on Nathan's character and background, but it also keeps them...well, hidden. I mean, it's kinda hard to hide if everyone knows you're hiding, no?

In other words a file for each faction, including one indicating that there are vampires who are hidden well enough that the government suspects they exist but does not have names to go with said suspected activity. It's more along the lines of knowing that factions like the Count or Seras Valkyrie have ties to other vampires who are more secretive. So I wasn't planning on revealing Victor L'Envers or rather including his name in the information that Lucia and Alex obtained.

However, it's most likely a result of having a couple of very time consuming projects on my hands at the moment and those will be completed tomorrow evening. The blades bring them to just under eight feet. And unlike the standard scythes they are war scythes. I hunted up a picture from my Diablo II game since that's what I'm talking about.
