I'll have to disagree with you, Rach. From the photo she put up earlier (elsewhere, naturally) I'd say she does in fact look late thirties. Okay, for those of you who are staring at the screen going "ri-i-ight", that was the [I]Díes írae[/I] and the [I]Offertorium[/I] from [I]Masses for the Dead[/I], an old mass sung in the Gregorian Chant style somewhere back between 450 and 1450 AD. (You did use the [I]Offertorium[/I], right Rach?) I got hit with the idea during Music History while my professor was noting how, in the old cathedrals, the acoustics would amplify regular speech to the point of raucous noise, but chants somehow managed to cut through the noise and carry over the entire cathedral, which is why they were developed for use with song and scripture. The illusionary 'noise' parallel hit me so hard I almost yelped, and fortunately I had a copy of the [I]Díes írae[/I] in front of me (translated, it means Day of Wrath), so combined with the mention of Berlioz's use of it in his [I]Symphonie fantastique[/I], that whole deal kind of just clicked. When I told Rach?I knew he at least would know what I was going on about?he was the one who added the purifying angle and made the whole idea amazing. I was being dense though, so it took me a while to connect the dots.

(Of course, I totally expect someone to say "That was it!?", but at least we can get on with it now, right?)

The key to the whole thing was that the [I]Díes írae[/I] united the Death Gods' minds in order for them to be able to break free of the illusion; if I'm being redundant, I apologize. So have fun with that!,....now that I'm not controlling it anymore. [I]*whew!*[/I]

After all I did start the doctorate program for my major this semester. Though a huge percent of my school work is observation and lab work so once I leave... I'm done.

Mostly why I got a 67 on last years final marking period in English. thank god my total average was 82, or who knows what would happen. I"m really good at English, but there was soo much homework that last few months. Let's just say I'm really smart, but I don't alwasy use that brain power.

Hmm... Well even with school, I have time to post. But then this is my final semester for getting my masters and all of the really time consuming work has already been done in previous semesters. I don't really have homework or rather enough to matter. [[SIZE="1"]I don't count practicing since that's a given whether I'm in school or not[/SIZE]] But honestly, I give out more homework than I actually get. lol

That will probably change when I start the doctorate program for music next semester, though in all honesty I'm not entirely sure on that either. As to whether or not it will result in a lot of homework. Anyway, one would hope that we will be back on track with the next twist before the next semester starts. Heh.

Besides, if there's nothing going on here... I have other things going on that I won't be upset over spending my time doing that instead.
