Aaryanna_Mom
I'm sure you saw this one coming, but my children of course. Nothing makes me happier to see how well they are doing, and I like to think that I had a hand in that, even if they grow up and no longer need you like they did at first. The other, my ability to read music. For whatever reason, sight reading music has always been fairly easy for me, even before I went back to school and learned more. Pieces like Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, I can sit down and simply play at a glance. Not well enough to perform since that takes practice, but still it's fun to do. It also makes playing for church easy as well since for simple songs like hymns and such, I never need to practice I can simply play anything in the book, on both the piano and the organ. :catgirl:

Horendithas
I'm proud of my education since I just got my bachelor's degree, even if English is the devil's spawn and tried to thwart me in my goal. I'm also proud to have been accepted to the doctorate program at the university I attend even though I've only been going for one week so far. I'm proud to think that for the most part I'm pretty level headed and think things through instead of simply reacting. I've had enough situations come my way to know that I do not panic. I'm also proud of all the great friends I have. And I'm proud of all the volunteer work I've done while getting my degree. Even though at times I wanted to pull my hair out and walk out the door, I'm proud that I didn't and stuck with it.

Nerdsy put it best with their response though. lol Anyway... As for being proud, I could also say I'm proud of being level headed. Sure I get into arguments like anyone else. I take things personal instead of laughing at them. But when it comes down to real and serious situations such as knowing what to do when someone has a seizure or when someone holds you up at gun point. I have never panicked and have always remained calm and did what needed to be done. I've always thought I was not the type to panic but to actually know that I don't. Does make me feel a little on the proud side. I've always found the image of the screaming hysterical woman who can't handle anything annoying since I know it's just not true. Gavin
My God, you all really need to go to Group Sounds for a while to just relax and lighten up, go look at cat captions, laugh and then come back here and hang your collective heads in shame for being so serious. I suppose though I do act a lot more light-hearted on GS than I do here, which might have made that comment a little unexpected, heh. The mood of GS is just infectious really. :animesmil And I'm honestly surpised anyone is surprised, I'm a 20 year old male with a healthy love life, of course I'm going to be proud of my body. All joking this time, I recently learned from a bunch of tests I took in careers class back in May that I would make an excellent doctor in the future, and as I'm hoping to attend med school next year, I'm really proud of that fact. A life of helping people is definitely something I could feel good about.
Ezekiel
Am I the only one not surprised by Gavin's comment? Clearly I've known him for far too long. I'm not proud of many things, in that I don't think about them. I don't pat myself on my back and say I've done a good job, I work on things until others do that for me. Being proud only leads to the opportunity to get cut down. Saying that, I have a few things: -My recent AS level results, I managed to get myself three A grades and one D, which is a little bit of a blip but one I'm not too worried about. Chemistry was a bum, anyway. I didn't think I'd do so well and ended up doing better than friends I know for a fact are smarter than me. I just worked a lot harder. -I'm at the point now, almost, where I can say I'm honestly happy with how I look and don't care if others aren't. I am me, and that's all that should matter. It's taken me too long to realise that. -I'm over halfway through my novel, and I've never stuck at one thing for so long without getting bored. Maybe I'm starting to grow up at last.
Shy
I'm proud of Gavin's ability to lie about his own shortcomings. Anyway, I suppose above all things I'm most proud of the person I've become and the person I am still becoming. It took me quite a while to realize just how awesome I am, and now that I know life is much more enjoyable. My friends, my boyfriend, my dog... there's not a lot in my life I'm not proud of. I'm very fortunate to be the person I am, and have the life that I do. Even if you had asked me two years ago I never would have thought I could end up living such a stable and pleasant life. So yeah, I'm proud of my existance I suppose. You're all very lucky to know me. -Shy
