Inuyasha Fandom
Recently I started watching Ergo Proxy, and am four episodes in. It's pretty good so far. I also started watching Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt. It's hilarious. I giggle constantly like a psychotic schoolgirl. I've watched four episodes of that. Aakosir
I just finished watching the first season of Attack on Titan. Now I need to find the next season...
CaNz
I just started watching Kadocha! (well I'm 20 episodes in... but there is a lot to go) The plot of this show is deep and sad... which is odd for a slice of life comedy... but I like it. I wonder what they will do after they go over all the family issues though.
Maully
I stopped watching anime for a while and in the last few months, I've started again. I watched "K" which I really enjoyed. I've also watched "The Devil is a Part-Timer" which I found charming and amusing, "Deadman Wonderland" which I found delightfully vulgar, and "My Little Monster" which I liked at first, but the further along it got, reality ate my brain and I felt terrible about it and thought if the couple stays together longer than a few weeks, there's going to be emotional abuse issues on both sides. This reawakening can probably be attributed to my stumbling across the "Loveless" manga in B&N. I had been reading years ago when TokyoPop was releasing it before TokyoPop died in America. Now Viz Media is releasing it. I was super excited. CaNz

I haven't had much time lately to catch up on everything though.
Maully
The last couple of weeks, I've been rewatching "The Wallflower." I love that show. I don't really think I can explain the allure it has to me, though I want to make mom watch it because she keeps bothering me that I didn't grow up to be "the lady" she wanted. I liek a frumpy girl who likes scary, macabre things. I also really like the word MACABRE. mangamaniack21 and CaNz

I love when she transforms to prove other people talking bad about her wrong, it's badass and hilarious XD. The manga is also excellent (poor girl would rather be in her room with her awesome skulls and gothic stuff than at a ball, for instance~). CaNz
Sounds like that should be what I watch next. I am 53 episodes into Childs Toy and I need a break. There are just too many cheap shot feels. My heart cant take it.
Magus
Unfortunately I've given up on anime, but I still read Bleach, One Piece (every now and then), and Fairy Tail.

Magus
..Right. Considering my taste I highly doubt it The only thing new I actually watched was Attack on Titan (can't say I cared much for it either), and even that was because my sister (who used to not watch anime) told me to check it out. CaNz
What kinda taste is it that dosen't like cool stories? There are so many animes out there that odds are you will like it if you gave it a chance. Maybe right now is just not a good time.
Magus
Define "cool stories" (I read Bleach for crying out loud, and there's hardly a story there). I'm an action guy (preferably samurai action). Always have been and always will be. Story was never the reason I watched anime. I'm fairly certain I've seen all the anime that I know I'd like, and I certainly have no interest in anything new. Sounds like I'd be back right? Gotcha. CaNz
You never know when the next great Samuraii action flick will come out! Just give it time. As for action in general, there are so many underrated animes out there, I am sure you could find something. I recently watched Noragami, and loved it. Its not really samurai like, but he does have a katana, and the action was good. Also the story was interesting... which is how I define a cool story. I'd say the first few seasons of bleach fit the cool story category, but the filler kinda made me hate the show.
Magus
Trust me, ever since Samurai Champloo I waited for that next big hit. I don't have the time and my patience ran out 3 years ago (The last time I posted here in this section let alone this thread was in 2012. That should tell you when I lost all interest in anime) Edited March 8, 2015 by Magus
CaNz
I can feel you there... Honestly I haven't seen an action anime as good as SC in forever. Fortunately I like more than just one specific genre so I am not too upset. How about this, if I find an anime better than SC I will let you know. d: Honestly if you aren't interested in anime, and you have other things you like spending your time on, I don't see the point in encouraging you to look into it again... which is why I really didn't intend to do it. I just figured one day something might peak your interest and you'd find your way back into this thread. I could also be wrong, but if I am, who cares? Oh, and I just read Akuma: Origins at my local library. I wonder if you have read it Magus? Edited March 9, 2015 by CaNz
Magus
Don't worry about it. As far as Akuma, never heard of it. Edited March 13, 2015 by Magus
CaNz
I have been reading a ton of Graphic novels, and that happened to be one of em. The art id pretty cool, but the story still kinda felt like a video game side story, rather than a flushed out character. The art alone would probably be worth the read if their is a barns and nobles around you and 20 minutes of spare time. Things have slown down a bit for me so I read some more Steven King. I finished The Mist yesterday. I feel like in the end, the danger of the monsters kinda mitigated the story. At the end I just thought... They were lucky they lived as long as they did, and all of them were gonna die anyways. Other than that it was a decent read.
CaNz
I just finished reading the Chobits Manga at the library. I tried watching the anime, but it I gave up since it was a bit too ecchi for me to handle, and even though the manga had plenty of nudity I guess it just seemed less prevalent of a theme as a whole. When you get past the soft core porn aspect, the story is really quite deep and philosophical. It has a pretty compelling argument for AI ghost in the shells, and in general all the characters have some tear jerking back-stories. My only real complaint is that the main character was so unrealistic, and that the ending was pretty non-existent. It felt more like Clamp just ran out of interesting things to talk about with the characters, rather than the story actually being over. Over all it was a pretty clever and fun manga.
