Rachmaninoff
We've had threads on things like what type of chocolate bar would you be or if you like hot chocolate. But seriously, candy's where it's at, well for those of us who aren't chocolate lovers that is. Heh. And I suppose technically many types of chocolate are candy. Anyway, basically what kind of candy is your favorite and why? Personally I've always had a soft spot for the type that has a tangy taste to it like certain types of taffy or different gummy candies. Right now one of my favorites is Swedish Fish. They're nice and soft and have a sweet and yet not to sweet flavor to them. Another one I really like... Cream Savers, especially the Strawberry flavored ones. Though the Raspberry ones are really good too. I've also always liked some of the hard candies that come out around Christmas like candy canes. Seriously, they make way too much stuff around Christmas. XP Anyway, I'm sure there are others, but that about sums it up for me. At least at this moment it does, my tastes often change, so next year... I'll probably like something else altogether.
Gavin
Snickers, without a doubt. Why you ask ? Name me one one other bar that has Mr. T in it's ad driving a tank telling some fool to "quit [his] jibber-jabbing". All kidding aside, I just prefer snickers because it actually fills me a little longer than most other candy bars and doesn't taste quite as sweet as a mars.
silpheedpilot
Sweet Tarts, baby! Best candy. Tarty, sweet, amazing. All words that describe Sweet Tarts. If I'm feeling particularly Sweet Tart savvy one day I'll just buy the whole box at the counter. Best candy without a shadow of a doubt.
desertphoenix
A tie with tropical Starburst and tropical Mike and Ikes. I love my tropical fruits with my favorite being mangoes. Tropical Starburst could have been number one, but they got rid of my favorite all time flavor tropical punch. I do like the two new flavors, but I feel like I'm going into withdraws without my tropical punch. I think I've found a new heavenly configuration of sugar in the form of Carmel Apple Sugar babies. I think this is the sweetest thing I've tasted since a caramel from Mexico a fiend gave me. I'm loving them, but it seems like a candy that would get discontinued later on. I only had two boxes in the past few weeks, and I don't plan on hoarding them. Well I'm cutting back little by little on the sweets, because of the family history of diabetes. Well maybe I've should have done it a while ago, like when I was a mental mess of a sugar friend in the 8th grade. I'm not eating close to a pound a day anymore, but I wonder how I stayed skinny. Well maybe it was because I didn't have a completely sedentary lifestyle. Well that's behind me now, and it's time for me to start taking care of my body. *runs out the door to Walgreens with a hand full of change.*
2010DigitalBoy
Ah, Rach. Begging for candy isn't helping you look any older :p I love Reese's in most of it's forms. The classic cups, or even those mini cups are awesome. Reese's Pieces are the best. You can have as much or little in your mouth as you please - a liberty I flex in every way possible. I hate white chocolate Reese's and the nside out ones. Just not cool. Crunch is cool too. You gotta take long breaks from it, though, cuz it gets old quick if you keep buying it close together. I've been a Starburst fan since I was little. Unfortuanetaly, I hate the pinks and am indifferent toward the reds. And anything other than the original flavors are t3h suckz0rs.
The13thMan
Sour patch kids are incredible. Now, i'm a pretty big guy, i've tried most mainstream candies out there and i've come to the conclusion that these are basically the best. But, as my brother once said, you have to balance out the sweet with the savory. So, here's another favorite of the savory type. You can't go wrong with those two candies. Actually, if you mix one of those white fudge pretzels with a lemon flavored sour patch kid... i mean d***! It's like an orgasm in your mouth! A creamy orgasm! SunfallE
There are so many that are good! And you guys have listed several that I also like. Sweet Tarts, Starburst... Those two are definitely quite good. Right now one of my favorites is Swedish Fish as well. I love how they are not too sweet and yet good. I don't get candy very often so I'm very picky about what I will get. lol Oh and I have to agree... Cream Savers are good. I'd never tried them before until BKstyles was telling me how good they are, so naturally I had to go and get some to try them. Turns out he was right. ^_~
xPromise
Cotton candy, FOR SURE. It's pure sugary deliciousness. The way it dissolves in your mouth.. I always buy cotton candy when I go out, whether it'd have to be made by hand by the guy with the cart (AND IT'S OVERPRICED) or Fluffy Stuff. I love cotton candy. The color doesn't really affect the taste, but I like the BLUE ones the best. :) I also like Spree, the chewy kind. COLORFUL!
TheResplendent
I don't eat as much candy as i used to, back in the day I was a huuuuuge sweet tart and nerds fan. Actually i do still eat nerds, i pick up a box every couple of weeks or so. Right now though the only candies i really eat anymore are butterfinger, charleston chew, and yes of course...cream savers :p.
Horendithas
and yes of course...cream savers :p.
So long as we're talking about the Raspberry ones, I agree. As for candy in general. I really don't have it very often. Usually something like jolly ranchers or the cream savers is something I end up having when I do get candy. Most of the time, when I want something sweet, I end up having fresh fruit. I never get tired of nectarines, or peaches, or pears, etc.

Hehe The other thing I really like, chocolate with almonds in it. The kind by M & M's and Hershey's. Or pretty much any chocolate with nuts in it. Though almonds are the best. Other stuff is fun every once in a while but that's about it. Oh and Crystia... My dog never gets tired of nectarines, or peaches, or pears. Odin M Yggdrasi
1. Skittles 2. Smarties 3. Whoppers 4. Reeses Cup That's my order of preference, though I am trying to avoid Reeses Cups because they contain peanut butter and someone I know is allergic to that. Pity I can't afford any of them right now, in order to save up for an anime convention in november I've got to live on almost nothing for the next month or so. SunfallE
With it finally being October... I have to add on that when Halloween comes around I always love candy corn. It's the kind of stuff that I just love during the month of October and then once Halloween has come and gone, I'm sick of it and don't have it again until the next year. Aaryanna_Mom
I've always liked Milky Way candy bars. However, I can't really eat them very often. Sometimes I think my health is determined to drive me nuts. On top of all my other issues I'm also diabetic, so candy is a big no no. I have found some good sugar free ones that I can have that don't give me grief. The raspberry cream savers ones are good and I always have some on hand at my house. I don't' have them very often though. I'm afraid I've gotten to use to not having candy over the years.
Japan
The best two candy treats in the world. The first one comes from England and the second one comes from Germany. The first one is called Flying Saucers. They are made of an edible foam that melts in your mouth. Inside, they are filled with sweet/sour sugar. YUM Flying Saucers The second is called Kinder eggs. They are made with Germany's superb milk chocolate. It is basically a hollow chocolate egg that has capsule toy inside that you put together. I just have a bit of animosity with sour candies. I hate them, and they hate me. They always wrinkle the roof of my mouth and sting like hell. I love candies when they are really sweet, like one time I felt like I was about to pass out on a Mexican caramel. That's also how I like my teas. Good times.
