[SIZE="1"]Have you ever looked back and wondered - how long ago was it really that I was buying lemon lime popsicles from my kindergarten teacher for lunch?

Or, more importantly: how long ago was it really that I joined OtakuBoards?

I just managed to get my password for my old account. I have a new one - Stephanie - but I've been trying to get onto this one since I came back. How far back do you remember? I believe, unless I'm mistaken (which I regularly am) that I've been here - not on this account, quite a few - since version... four? I think? I'm not sure. But a really long time ago. Like, back in sixth grade long time ago. And i'm in 11th now.

How far back do you remember your time here? And what are some of your best memories?

- My first RPG ever, Elemental Gaurdians, took off with a bang. Despite the fact that all it was was one liner posts and ridiculously horrible spelling, it lasted for around twenty pages. We had so much fun, even though I was banned because Drix D'zanth or The Harlequin (one of them) really didn't like me.

I also realise that this has been done, but I really wanted to make a thread using my old account. o_O[/SIZE]

[COLOR=green]I registered here when they still had individual anime forums. It really promoted the discussion of hot anime series. I was disappointed when I realized that OB is static as hell, that those forums were just there and that, as new shows became popular and old ones lost interest, OB would stubbornly stay the same and not move with the rest of the anime community.

It was a blow, but this was the first anime forum I was a part of, so I stuck around. I also was a really big member over at YugiohRealms at the time, but as you can tell by the name, it didn't cater to all aspects of my anime needs.

There have been a couple of sites that I can no longer access, because I have forgotten my password and the e-mail account I registered with is no longer available.[/COLOR]

[color=darkred][size=1]I actually joined OB back when I was a Sophomore in High School, some 5 or 6 years ago. A lot of stuff happened along the way that keeps me from being around/posting on the forum, but I do check back every so often and see what's going on.

Granted, I don't think anyone I knew back then is still around, save for a handful of posters.

[SIZE="1"]Yeah, there are still a few of us around from way back when.

I joined OB the first time back in September 2001, a few weeks after the site had upgraded to V3, so I've been around about six years at this point. A lot's changed between now and then, but a lot hasn't changed at all at the same time.

Funny thing is that a lot of people from the really old days seem to have come back for a look around over the last while, we saw Flash for the first time in ages over the summer. This place is like a drug, you just can't stay away forever.[/SIZE]
