This story takes place in Midievil Ages somewhere in Eastern Europe. 10 people stand around a mysterious object that glows with light. It was like nothing they have seen before. What they did not know is that this object would change their lives forever. The villagers (you) came from Knottwhole several miles from this object called the crystal. When the youngest member of the 10 villagers touched the crystal. It exploded in a blinding light causing loss of vision.

When they regain their vision, they found out that they where somewhere else even though it looked like it did. It looked like war was waged here recently. They frantically search fot the crystal but failed to find it.They returned to Knottwhole, only to see it was burned to the ground. Fires still burn which meant that they just escape death a second time.

From then on they had to fight to survive. Fight to get the crystal so they can return to their homes. For those 10 villigers, their life was changed forever.

Shaun was walking around town like normal asking if anyone needed help with anything he could do and saw a mysterious falling star that seemed to get closer to him. When it landed far away from the village, he went around asking other poeple for help to find this object from the sky. The first person he meet and asked was Gosia.

Shaun: "Gosai I saw this object falling from the town and it landed over their about a day's walk from here. Can you join me and a few more people to find this thing and bring it back here?"

~Ruins of Thundering Irons Smithy, Knothole~

Having woken from the aftermath of the explosion, and discovered the destroyed town, the group at the crystal had started to split up to see if anyone or anything had survived.

?Well I suppose that?s the end of that. And here I thought I would have been able to keep a shop from burning down for a while.? The man who once was the village blacksmith remarked on seeing the scorched remains of his shop on the village?s main street. While the forge and its chimney still stood tall, scorched but repairable, the building that had once enclosed it was now nothing more than blackened stones, ash, and bent nails. Fortunately the Anvil had survived the fire, while it had lost its hardness from the heat Odin was skilled enough to correct that once the forge was repaired.

He bent down and ran his fingers through the ash, several nails staying in his hand as the ash fell back to the streets once more. A whisper was heard on the wind, he was saying prayers for all those in this town who died during the accident.

Moving towards where the anvil that had been used by his family for three generations lay on it?s side, near the mound of ash that once was the stump it rested upon, he set it upright on the table of the forge. Taking a hammer from the left side of his apron he tapped the steel face lightly, it rang out but was now somewhat off-key and dull.
But at least it can be retempered, provided I make a new bellows so I can restart the forge. Being that I am the one who makes the tools for the others in town, I have to get something together so that we can fix what we find. He thought, setting the anvil back on the ground and seeing what of his house nearby survived the blaze.

The house too, burned to the ground. More bent nails and scorched stones littered the place where his home once was. Something shining near the back wall of the basement caught his eye though, and climbing down into the burned pit to examine it he discovered his latch on the root cellar had held, it?s door protected against the fire by the coating of sheet metal that also shielded it from the damp and cold.

Much to his surprise, the contents of the cellar had remained mostly intact- there was a small quantity of food, along with extra blankets, and a small bellows- while it would not enough to power the forge it would be enough to raise a campfire to forging temperature so he could make what was needed to repair the forge. There was also a lantern and an axe, all made by his father and stored in case of emergency.

Climbing back up to the shop he looked up and down the street. Still dusty, still deserted. The only footprints in the soft ash that covered the ground like snow being his, and those who like him were at the crystal and now searching for survivors.

Taking the bellows and axe from the basement, he brought them over to near where the forge was. Most of his tools had been made of iron, the ones in his apron were completely unharmed while the ones in his shop only needed to be retempered and maybe resharpened to be as good as new. Eventually he might sort the ashes to recover them for restoration, but for now there was a more pressing matter- that it seemed nobody else had survived, and that the group from the crystal needed to gather to discuss what they found, if anyone had found clues to how this happened or what to do about it.

For the time being though, the situation was dire. The food in the root cellar would not hold out forever, and most of the crops in the fields were destroyed probably by the same force that destroyed the town. Already though, the soft thumping of an axe striking a piece of wood began to drift on the breeze, as Odin knew the importance of his role in the community wasted no time beginning to repair the forge. Once that was repaired, then he could once again like his ancestors had done make the tools and supplies needed to restore civilization.

~Raspberry bushes near the remains of the blacksmith?s shop and house~

Well it seems their blacksmith is wasting no time restoring function to his equipment, so he can contribute to the town?s repair. A shadowy female figure concealed in the thick bushes thought. Most of the bushes like this had wilted from the fires or even burned completely, yet this one was mostly unhurt and even still bore a few berries that were late ripening and missed the harvest. The woman inside could have easily hidden there for some time, supplied by the berries and the dew on the leaves, observing everything that happened to the destroyed town without being detected. I?d best report that some people survived. Surely these survivors will be of interest to Lord Darc.

After the explosion SUe found herself in an odd village,
she had no idea where she was. She looked around seeing that
the agriculture around it was nothing like where she was before.
These people weren't to be trusted, strangers are enemies to her,
even the people she new from the village she had lived in. Something
bothers her though, why did this place seem so different and still semm
so firmiliar? Anyways she walked down the dirt street her right hand resting
on one of her swords. She spotted a few other people from the village
she had live in and did not even acknowledge them.

All of a sudeen she felt a presence she had felt before. It felt cold, and made her
think of unbelievable sins she could cause here. This village she could slaughter
in a matter of seconds. SHe shook the feeling away, but this persence... She knew
who it was, but at the same time was clueless...

~Far far from the village~

In a dark room sat a man playing with a small flame, sticking his finger in and out of
the licking flame. It made a low orange glow, but it wasn't enough to see the mans facealthough you could see it shine in his cold, crimson eyes. Another man walked into the room "My Lord, we have visitors..." The man who had walked in said quickly.

THe man named 'Lord Darc' got to his feet slowly, or so the other man heard him shuffeling hisfeet because he couldnt exactly see him getting up. Lord Darc looked to the other man his crimson eyes still glowing from the flame, "That's good news Jakal..." Darc said in a low, cold voice that sounded like the most persuasive, hateful voice ever to be heard. He blew out the flame and his eyes luminated in a red glow...by themselves.

~Dark?s HQ~

A black stone on a pedestal before Darc?s seat began to glow a dull purple, almost like a clouding swirl. There was then a ripple of orange, and the face of his subordinate appeared in the stone. Lucy had news to report.

?My Lord, the survivors of Knothole have appeared as you predicted. Already the blacksmith seems to be concerning himself more with survival and restoring the town?s function than worrying about who did this- but having fought him before he?s surprisingly skilled using the same hammer that smites his irons and may prove to be a nuisance. He?s lucky I let him live before, but later on we might need him since in his heart is a darkness that we might be able to tap. ? Came the face and sinister voice of Lucy over the darkly glowing stone, swirling dark energies around her image. ?What are your orders? I am in an excellent location for observing at present, they have not yet detected me.?

~Ruins of Thundering Irons Smithy, Knothole~

It seems I am not alone. There are presences in the area, we are being watched. Odin thought as he continued working. Already he had started a campfire and using the little bellows to increase the fire?s heat begun making the parts he would need to repair the forge. The anvil, while it had been damaged, was still workable. It rang loudly as he struck the iron upon it, the sound carrying on the wind as it had always done. Other survivors of the explosion might hear it and come to discuss what had happened. Of course there was also that hidden presence nearby, but it hadn?t moved in a while and the whispers on the wind weren?t coming from there. Still it wouldn?t hurt to check it out, since it if was an enemy observer it could prove to make matters complicated if the enemies that burned the town were to return.

The fairly new and strange girl Sue walked towards where his shop once was, a hand on her sword and a look of uneasiness on her face. She seemed to be feeling the presences too, while Lucy had hidden quite well whenever she looked at someone her cold stare would send chills up and down the spine even if you didn?t meet eyes with her.

?It?s just a servant of evil, she?s hiding in the raspberries over there.? Odin remarked, loudly enough that Lucy would be able to hear him and be alarmed that he had detected her. ?Odds are she is only observing or she would have attacked me by now. Still, when the rest of us gather we should drag her out of that bush and interrogate her since she is clearly connected to this.?

A bead of sweat rolled down Lucy?s forehead, she could not believe that she had been discovered so easily. She turned to the black stone with the glowing red eyes that was carried around her neck but now was being held in her hand, and whispered ?I may have to break off and relocate, it seems that blacksmith figured out what was up. So far he and a swordswoman have shown up, but he says there are others in the area.?

I heard the noise of Odins' hammer doing its work and him stopping in a random order.
As he searched the burned village to see if anyone survived this atrocity befolded on this poor town. After several hours of searching, the survivors meet in the village displeased that no-one else survived.

Shaun: "Why? Why did I have to go and do that stunt? I've done this, so if you feel like outcasting me or whatever you feel is my fitting punishment, just get it over with."

I walk away from the group so they can talk over what I have said. I sit down and turn my back to the others too ashamed at what I have done to my friends. When I turned my back, I saw something shiny out in the field.

As I walk toward it, it moved! Running after it, I got father and father from the others. This thing ran into the forest. I dare not follow in fear of what might be in there. An ambush would be the best way to pick everyone off one by one.

This thing disappeared into the forest, so I didn't follow. I ran back to the village to see what they have come up to punish me. When I returned to the village, I found only Odin standing in the what used to be the town square. He had this look on his face, can't describe it but it wasn't anger towards him. Like a person looking out to see waiting to see something.

“Shaun, we didn’t know what it would do. Still, might want to stick in the area. The only presences I am sensing at the moment are the 10 of us who were at the crystal, and that spy that is hiding near here. Let her be for the time being, there are still not enough of us to face her and be able to win. Odin remarked, two of the survivors having come near the fire. He set down the small bellows and pulled his iron out of the fire- a saw blade being retempered so he could saw the boards for the big bellows. Immersing it in a barrel of water he had filled from the still running spring, it gave a resounding sizzle and then was ready to be used again. Basing from her Aura, that is Lucy the demon. The feeling I am getting from these ruins is that whoever burned the town did so with no warning, nor with any mercy for those who wouldn’t be able to defend themselves anyway. It is a cold sadness, which is why I am not wasting time repairing my forge so that once again we can bring life to this wilderness.”

“Still, there were 10 people at the crystal, and I only see three of them counting myself now. My root cellar survived intact; there is some food and supplies down there. We should regroup and plan our next move, since that stockpile will not last for more than a few days with this many people.” He continued, putting another scrap of iron into the fire and starting with the small bellows again to bring it up to forging temperature. “I don’t think that spy will attack me yet, if she was going to she would have by now. Still we do need to be careful, there may be other agents in the area.”

A small black bug crawled across the anvil; catching sight of it the anvil rang once as Odin’s hammer smashed it- a dark aura dispersing as the fragments of the bug evaporated.

I saw that bug get squashed by Odin and watched it evaporated into thin air. I feel back out of shock but Odin stood still. I got up and dusted the ashes of of my cloths.

Shaun: "Odin, what was that?"

Odin just stares at the spot where the bug was killed. Staring at the mark it made.

Shaun: "Odin, I saw something shiny heading towards the words and i ran after it. I did not dare go into the words for it might be an ambush. It moved real fast, not like the natural wildlife could. Could that be that demon spy you were talking about? How do you know this Lucy demon?"

Odin did not answer, he stood still one again.

(I use the name of the character before he speaks so you would know who is talking. i figured that would be easier to read)

OOC: I noticed. And I wonder if Momishin will post again, but I have no plans to wait for her at this point. There is a story here, shall we make it great?

?If it was Lucy, she would not have been shining unless you saw her under a full moon. We were once childhood friends, however she was stolen away by darkness. Now she could easily kill me, the last time we met I managed to evade her only by hiding in the wilderness. There are large scars near my shoulders and on my left leg from that incident. I?m surprised she hasn?t attacked yet, the way she has grown she would likely be able to overpower all three of us.? Odin answered Shaun. ?And that bug I squashed, a more direct observer of the demon lord she serves. Whatever our next move will be, we need to figure it out and do it.?

Lucy?s gaze swept across the ruins again, a cold wind blowing causing Odin to put another piece of wood into the campfire to stay warm. He sat down near the blaze and turned his apron behind him, forming a cloak of sorts against the cold. ?It has been a long time since I have felt the cold stare of Lucy?s gaze. Hopefully she will go away on her own, to face her would be futile without the remaining survivors so that we could challenge her as a group. Shaun, promise me. Do not let Sue fall to harm because of Lucy. I have tried to watch out for everyone in this town as best I can, but I have strayed too close to my limit. You must do it now, for yourself and for everyone. The fact that Lucy has returned to this town means that my time is up.?

?Odin you?ve gotten so futile as you aged. Why on earth would I be interested in this Sue? Of course, if that jewel you guys had wasn?t so explosive, I would have been much more satisfied with that.? Came a young sounding voice from the bush, which carried with it a sense of cruelty and power despite seeming childish.

?So that?s what this is about Lucy? You wanted to give that jewel to the demon lord, and since we made it explode decided to extract retribution? What?s so special about it? Odin shouted back, pretending not to know where Lucy was, even though they both knew exactly where each other were. Standing up, both of Odin?s hammers were drawn- one looking fairly new, the runes fresh cut and the handle recently fitted, the other old and stained, the runes rubbed down and the head chipped. ?I?ll dance with you if you want, since it would be just like old times. But you know, you could just head home and tell the dark lord we?re dead and the jewel is still being searched for.?

?Odin, when have you ever known me to do things the easy way. The Jewel is what my master wants, and the jewel is what I will get. Pity I would have to kill an old friend and all his companions to get it.? came the strange voice again, and with a sharp rustling as though a sudden wind passed through, the servant of the night appeared before Odin- rudely yanking out several of his hairs.

?Same as always Lucy, torn between embracing you as tightly as I can and running like a dog in a thunderstorm away from you.? Odin answered back. ?However, I would much prefer not to die this time, after the last incident I don?t find such experiences pleasant.?

I woke up from the cold, freezing. As I walk out to the fire, I saw Odin standing with his hammers drawn. I back away knowing if I interfere with his fight I was sure to be killed. I hide behind the forge still a little warm from Odin's work.

I sudently I felt a cold chill going up my back. Something evil was here and Odin is going to fight it. I run to Sue and woke her up.

Shaun: "Sue wake up! We have to leave now before this demon kills us too.!"

Sue: "What? Wheres Odin?"

Shaun: "Look, we don't have time we must leave gather the rest of the supplies and get moving to the east, towards the the hilly plains. We'll hide in my childs' fort i made when i was 13. GO NOW!"

Sue gathers the supplies and runs to the hide out. Shaun returns to where odin was last seen. I was in shock, Odin was on the ground, lying still. I called out to him. No answer. I got closer being carefull were I place my foot and checking for anything that would indicate an ambush or Lucy.

Shaun: "Odin, Odin, are you ok?"

No answer, I feared the worse. Odin might be dead. I cried quietly as i approched him.

Shaun headed off to look for Sue, as Odin and Lucy drew weapons and gazed intently at each other as they slowly circled, as if trying to gauge who would make the first move.

?It?s unusual for you to hesitate Lucy. Isn?t your specialty killing before the enemy even knows they are targeted?? Odin taunted the black-iron clad woman who was facing him.

I was thinking the same of you Odin. Normally when you realize you have the surprise advantage, you quietly tell your companions and make use of it. This time you outright gave it away.? Lucy taunted back ?Becoming overconfident in your abilities because I haven?t killed you yet??

?Actually I was making it a point to get my friends clear before you showed yourself, since you forgot to not look at the same place for too long and gave yourself away.? Odin answered back. ?If I really did have to worry about you killing me, I would have been dead a long time ago.?

?Well, enough chat. Maybe this time you had best not hold back, or your friends won?t even find a corpse.? Lucy called out interrupting Odin. She switched stances with her daggers and charged, hearing the solid clash as Odin parried one of the two daggers with his hammer, cleanly dodging the other.

Another clash of steel as Odin?s free hammer came down, rattling the chains of Lucy?s armor as it struck her near the hip- the older hammer had a poor balance, and Odin had trouble hitting his target with it. Lucy winced at the force of the blow, even though Odin was not a normal fighter he did have surprising strength with his hammers from using them at the forge.
?Twin Fangs!? Shouted Lucy as after jumping back from Odin?s strike, her daggers moved and a dark purple beam shot down the blade as her energy gathered on them. Odin turned to the side and the beam shot past, but Lucy fully expected this and turned one of the blades to bite into his arm as the other hit a tool in the apron side pocket- glancing off the steel piece inside.

Cloth tearing on the blade was heard, and Odin?s sleeve had been torn off. On the section of his right arm that was showing, among the fresh cut that was beginning to seep blood, was a series of other scars, very closely aligned to the new cut.

?Same spot again Lucy? I swear you must be trying not to hit my vitals since you always hit me there.? Odin remarked as Lucy recovered from her strike and dodged a swing from Odin at her head.

?If I had really wanted you dead, I would have killed you in your sleep years ago.? Lucy shot back. In a way, the fighting between these two reflected both strength and skill, but in a sense also seemed like a strange sort of bonding or potentially even a ghost of the past.
?Anvil Breaker!? Odin called out, the runes of his hammers lighting up as the heads began to glow. He swung a series of furious blows at Lucy, first for the shoulder, then the knee, the last one in the gut. Lucy elegantly dodged all except the last one, and soon found herself sent airborne as she was thrown off balance by the force of it.

?That?s the first time you?ve hit me with that Odin, and goddamit that really hurt.? She shouted as she landed on her feet and came at him again. It was her turn now, the daggars in her hands moving like a whirling blade of a lawn mower as towards Odin. At the last second before hitting him, she stopped her motion, and instead struck him dead center in the chest- with the handle of her blades. Odin was forced backwards, he stared to fall due to her strike having fully knocked the wind out of him. Lucy rushed quickly to him, catching the unconscious form and easing him onto the ground.

?You?ve gotten stronger Odin.? Lucy remarked as Odin lay in a daze on the ground. ?Next Time I may have to use everything to beat you, even if it means killing you. She knelt briefly before his form, bending over him as if respecting a fallen friend.

There was a rustling in the leaves, and a burst of cold and shadow, and all that remained was the dying campfire and the ruins of the town, and a ?sleeping? blacksmith- dreaming about the life that might have been.

 • 2 weeks later...
With Shaun ordering her arouns Suedropped all her items and leered at him. "You know what? DO IT YOURSELF. I was never really apart of your town and I really could care less for you or Odin. Take care of your own damn problem, I am NOT part of this." Sue then walked away, not looking back again. There was someone she had to find... SHe had to find that annoying presence the one that seemed so firmiliar.

It was about 20 minutes later and she was deep in the woods when there was a sound, a few twigs snapped and she swung around. "Ah, so it is true..." The person in the shadow's said. Walking into the dim light there stood a man, short black hair and a rather odd outfit along with crimson eyes. He smiled grimfully as he started to pace around her in a circle. "It seems that you HAVE returned..." He said in a cold voice.

"Who are you." Sue replied in a hateful tone.

The man just laughed, "SO the spell still has its effect on you? You are Darcs Lieutenant, his best one. Unfortunatly when you decided to do something against him he puta spell on you to forget everything and grow younger. It was your punishment, you'll remember everything very soon. Your nearing the age you were when you backstabbed him, and when you remember you WILL come back to us." He said with that some cold voice and grimfull grin.

Sue walked off with a mad looked on her face. I just stand their confused. Maybe I treated her like a child too much. Well she could take care of herslef. Girls can be soo hard to get along with sometimes.

I heard the clash of armor being hit by a weapon. Must of been a good hit cause I could see the sparks fly of it from where I was standing. I knew that it wasnt my fight and if I just walked into it I would die.

I get close to the action to see who Odin was fighting but all I saw was a dark figure. That scared me cause I got a feeling that someone was watching me. Erie feeling that seemed to not go away. I turn around but nothing.

When I turned back aound the dark figure was gone and Odin was on the floor. I ran over to him with a great releif that he was breathing. I put a blanket on him so he wouldnt freeze while he wasnt awake.

I rusle some wood to burn to keep the fire going. But it went out before the sun came up. At least the wind died down, it was so cold.

~Odin?s Dreams, the night of Lucy?s fate, 10 years ago~

Odin stood on an invisible surface in his dreams. Around him was a dark night, no stars visible nor the moonlight breaking through. Just darkness, pure and cold, like that of Lucy?s heart.

Suddenly a shooting star broke through the cloud, falling towards him as the clouds dispersed from it?s passage, revealing a beautiful starry sky. The star fell towards him, then at the last minute shot the other way- off the horizon. He sighed softly, some nights when that happened he would wonder what it would be like if the star were to come to him, and let itself be caught by him.

The starlight revealed the silhouette of the quiet town seen across the meadow, where his friends and family lay sleeping. He was out alone at night, as usual, staring at the sky and focusing on his thoughts. A form of meditation they called it when he had that happen, the result for him was an enlightened feeling comparable to detaching one?s self from one?s body, and flying freely among other objects. Nights like this one, he would sail among the stars and see the town through his mind in a way that nobody else cold imagine.

Something warm and soft touched him, startling him from his thoughts. He turned to see silver hair and pale skin glowing in the starlight, a beauty sitting near him leaning towards him and gently rubbing his shoulder. It was Lucy, younger than she was now but her pale beauty as radiant as ever. Even though she always was older than he was, and at times seemed to be more of a sister than a love, Odin could not deny once having had feelings for her. They had traveled together for some time, before settling down in Knothole.

?I knew I would find you here.? She whispered to him, laying down on the damp grass with him, wrapping her arm around his shoulder as he started to snuggle into her warm body. ?Odin, I?m sorry. But I can?t stay with you any longer; I must go on my own and find my own path. Someday I pray that we will cross paths again.? Tears were in her eyes as she spoke, she knew that it would tear both of their hearts to part like this, but it must be done.

?But why Lucy? Why must you go alone? I might still be but a lad, but I want to protect you, I want to travel with you.? Odin remarked, his eyes showing tears too as the moon finally cleared the trees over the scene. ?Why are you doing this when you have so much here to live for??

?Because this, this is not what I wanted. I?m sorry Odin, but goodbye.? She whispered back, barely able to contain herself any longer. Without waiting for him to reply again, she shot off into the darkness.

~Odin?s dreams, the night of Sue?s arrival~

Odin lay in the same spot as he always had, on the grassy hill near the town, only now a small lantern burned in his workshop. He was working through the night, trying to get ahead on the surge of work this time of year, and had stopped to rest a bit.

Overhead the sky was black as always, and soon the falling star appeared.
Something was different though, the star kept coming closer to him instead of shooting away. He tensed up finally before a bright flash blinded him and he lost track of what happened.

When he woke up, a voice was heard on the wind- chanting a spell. There was something warm touching his shoulder, in the place Lucy always did, though now that spot was covered with the cloth and leather of his working outfit.

His heart pounded as he sat up, only to be disappointed on seeing that it was not Lucy who was there, but rather the falling star from a few moments ago, glowing softly and as warm as a loved one?s touch. Picking up the small stone, he put it in the pocket of his apron closest to his heart, and promised the heavens to always treasure the gift.

Looking around, he saw the silhouettes of two people in the starlight- a man, and the strange girl that he would later learn was Sue Momishin. Squinting, he saw silver hair glowing in the starlight, and realized that Lucy was standing with the man as well. Only, she was different. Her traditional robe had been replaced with black plate and chain armor, and she carried two daggars. There was an air of power and danger about her, and no trace of her old and caring self. She turned to look at where Odin was laying, knowing full well that he was there as always.

Odin shivered in an unreal way, never before had Lucy?s gaze been so cold- it had always been warm and comforting. He ducked back down the grass so that he would not be noticed.

~Odin?s dreams; hell?s gate (He has not seen this version before)~

Lying in the field looking at the stars, the star that had fallen for him before now a part of a pendant around his neck that he was holding, the night sky was again going through the ritual it always had, pure darkness pierced by a single falling star before the clouds dispersed to reveal the starlight and the moon.

He focused on the moon?s craters, attempting to meditate again. Something was different this time, first he felt the cold stare that he felt from time to time and realized Lucy watching him. Then suddenly the ground beneath him fell away, and a firey gate opened, him falling into the depths of hell. His body back in reality was shaking in fear and sweating heavily, while he descended into the nether realm, tormented by demons, stabbed by his former friends, and the crowning event- Lucy, her outfit changed once again to that fitting of a demon queen, stabbing him through the star stone and into his heart, then tearing his heart from his chest and throwing it into the brimstone below the stage. She then kicked him, and laughed madly ?Next time we meet, you will die? as she threw his body into the brimstone below her throne.

Finally, he woke up.

~Ruins of Thundering Irons smithy, Knotthole~

Odin sat up to realize that he had survived Lucy, yet again, and had been having a nightmare that he hadn?t seen in a long time. Something seemed strange in his mind though, he was confused as to why the star would fall the time he saw Sue while always passing him by when Lucy was near him.

Turning onto his side, he noticed Shaun having returned and tended the fire for him, though the forge was still out of service the campfire still burned brightly, like it did when he first moved to the area and built his shop.

?So Lucy decided not to kill me after all. Such a pity, even though I suppose it means that I still have something in my life that is not yet done.? He remarked, sitting up and taking the starstone pendant in his hand. The stone itself had only glowed for a few hours after it fell, then it faded to a black shard looking vaguely similar to what his iron would look like if it had the same shape. ? Where did Sue run off to? We shouldn?t be wandering alone, especially since we know for certain that Lucy is in the area and out for blood.?

~Middle of the Forest~

Bloody images were forced int her mind, she looked down to her hands and saw intestines of a poor small human girl and she jumped backward her eyes wide. She glimpsed up to Jakal and back down to her hands which were completely clean. "See? Now that you have seen me your revival has begun!" He said laughing as he melted back into the darkness.

A frightened look on her face Sue ran back towards the camp, tripping over a branch she fell onto the lean-too she had made earlier. SHe wiped the cold sweat that was forming on her forehead and looked at Shaun and Odin. "Nothing to worry about, I just don't feel well." She said quickly turning away from them as she repaired her broken lean-too.

There was no doubt that she had known that man... She hated the fact that it is completely possible that he was right. She looked down at ther hands and saw that blood again... Her hands were stained by blood, every day of her life she could smell the scent of blood but she never knew that it was her own past that was haunting her. Perhaps all those memories she had now were fake? Most likely... Maybe the father she had always remembered was a fake too... Maybe all those feeling and hopes that she had in that village were she had grown up after she lost her father too. She glances over to Odin and looked away. Perhaps... everything she had ever known or liked was fake feelings...

(OoC: I have no time to post today so I'll leave this insight to the post Momoshin posted already. If you forgotten you past and made new memories. The memories you have at that time is your memories. Dwelling in the past is in sight full but too much can cause you to doubt whats real or whats not. Make the memories that makes you happy, makes you sad, makes you mad, what ever memory you made is yours.)

As I came back with the last little wood I could scrounge up, I saw odin up and looking at the fire.

Shaun: "Odin your ok. Thank god your ok. Sue ran off in the forest and hasn't returned yet. I must go find her."

Odin: "No, we must go together. Lucy will be back."
(OoC;Sorry Odin tried my best to make you sound like you were still thinking that Lucy was around. Hehehe)
They both went into the woods making sure they don't loose sight of one another.

They saw Sue fall over something. She said she was ok but she was sweating. It looked like she saw something terrifying. I nor Odin asked why she was.

OOC: I wouldn?t worry about Momishin?s previous post with regard to the memories deal, that is part of her character and is not true for the real her. Also, what did happen to the other people who signed up? There were supposed to be 10 people, not 3.

~Knotthole Ruins~

?She didn?t go far though, if she went to the place where I think she did then I can find her fairly quickly. But yes, we shouldn?t go anywhere alone because Lucy may still be nearby. Also, do you think that the others who saw the crystal fall survived? It is entirely possible that Lucy already killed them, leaving only the three of us.?

Picking up a piece of scrap metal, Odin put it in the campfire and put more wood around it to heat it up. A few minutes of hammering, and the scrap had been salvaged into a workable lantern, that way they would have light and a way to start another fire when they made camp again. Picking up some of the burning branches from the fire and putting them inside it, he said ?Might want to put together some bundles of dry sticks to feed this. I?ll be ready in a minute, I want to put my remaining tools into the root cellar and lock it up again so that they will be here if we return to this place.?

He set the lantern on the ground near the fire, and started picking up the tools that looked salvageable, finally taking the anvil and putting it into the cellar as well. Fastening the latch and securing it tighter since it no longer had a house to cover it, he picked up the lantern and turned. His hammers were visible in their loops on the apron, and the soot and dirt stains on his face made him look like he had just finished a day?s work.

?The meadow of dreams I call it. It is at the top of a hill overlooking the town, and we pass through a small woods to get there. Likely Sue is in that woods.

He turned towards the trail, just in time to see Sue coming back towards them, a haunted look on her face as though she had just seen a ghost.
