Shwa
Here's a section/threats on the boards where members can share with one another their favorite types of alcoholic drinks (for those who are old enough or those who partake in drinking). They can range from Highball Drinks to Shots, or from Whiskey Drinks to Classical Martini's, or old fashoined Beer to hard hitting shots. Whatever gets you drunk and taste awesome, please share with the others for them to try next time. Vicky
Posh, aren't we? Haha =p My favourite drink is actually Sambuca or Polonaise, but since I can't get hold of it I settle for the old fashioned underage drinking of vodka or strongbow. Rum is nice too, and I'm a bit of a wine drinking... wait, a big wine drinking, red wine being the favoured. And I'll tell you the best drink I had last week. You need a pan, about three shots of vodka, Jaigermeister (sp?), whiskey, lambrini and red wine. You pour three shots of vodka into a pan and a further three shots of Jaiger in, a few cap fulls of whiskey and a bit of lambrini to make it look nice. Then you pour the rest of the pan up with red wine. That sounds disgusting, doesn't it? Well, drink it out of a straw, and trust me, it tastes great. Assured to make you giggle. Truth be told expensive drinks that take awhile to make put me off. I don't care for them, though Blue Lagoon is a pretty nice drink if anyone's had it. I'm more of an experimenter; Slush Puppy with vodka is amazing.

White Russian is by far my favorite drink. I don't really see the appeal in drinking something that burns on the way down, or induces dry heaves.
Beer - Coors Light Hey, it was the first beer I had and its one I personaly find to be alright, I've had others but this one brings back god memories of beer pong :)
You have no soul, my friend. Corona with a lime slice is where it's at. Shy
June Bug

1 oz. Midori
3/4 oz. Banana Liqeur
3/4 oz. Coconut Rum
1 oz. Sweet and Sour Mix.
1 oz. Pineapple Juice.
I'm a fan of girly drinks, so I'll usually go with something colorful full of rum or vodka. This past weekend I discovered the Sake-tini (which is like a regular gin martini, only with sake instead of vermouth.) it was amazing! I don't really care for coffee liqeur, but if you're going to drink it you should try the Starbucks brand coffee liquer that they sell these days. Yum. -Shy

Corona is piss in a bottle, even with the lime it doesn't cover the horrible taste or that nasty brew. I like the White Russian drinks because of the taste, but I dont mind some tequila shots with a lime chaser....thats heaven ^.^ I do like Lunox's Bailey's Coffee, we call them Irish Coffee's though because we already know what's in them. They're delicious when your finished eating a meal, and real good in Irish Pubs.
SunfallE
Actually... I don't drink. XP But I do like having a Strawberry Daiquiri without the Alcohol. Or Lime or Pineapple, though I like Strawberry the best. They're just really good with dinner and I like the overly sweet taste better than having a desert. I've had other stuff offered to me and I've tried a few things, but I didn't like it.

Yeah, I'm more like Shy, I love girly and fruity drinks with a little bit of rum or vodka more than anything else. I haven't tried a lot, but I hope to soon when I go to Italy in the next two weeks. And the Bailey's Coffee in Lunox's post actually looks very tasty. I should probably try it out sometime. Btw, sorry Mage17, but I have to agree with Retri on the whole Corona with lime thing. It's simple and it tastes pretty dang good, with either a lime or lemon, lol.
Justin
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!' I love beer. Liquor? Most doesn't do much for me. Tequila every now and then sets me right. Petron, specifically. But if I want to get hammered, just give me a shot of Jack and a Heiny to chase it with...over, and over, and over. No sense spending big money for something that won't burn anymore after a few shots. Wanna get real Alabama hammered? A shot of ole' stumphole and chase it with a Schiltz. Now, that'll make any rebel yell. -Justin
BlueYoshi
Cider > Beer. I hate the bloated feeling that both drinks give me after I've had a few though, like right now lol. I also like wine. I can drink both red and white until I'm ko'd but I prefer white because it's not as dry and there's a lesser chance of me getting a hangover, which I haven't had in ages. As for hard spirits, I don't really go there. The only one I'd drink would be vodka, either raw or mixed, whichever. But whiskey, forget about it. That's satan stuff right there. I hate it. It gives me a stomach ache, I feel like crap after only one, it tastes like crap, and it makes me pull a "yucky" face.
Dodeca
The only things that I can physically bring myself to drink [that I've tried thus far] are cider, rum and whisky, the latter being my preferred choice. For cider, it's got to be nice and sweet, so Bulmers and/or Gaymers do the job wonderfully. I've tried Strongbow before too, but it just didn't work for me... so I got the person next to me to drink it instead, whilst coercing them into drinking some of my whisky. [I should stop doing that.] Rum... I drink it so rarely that it doesn't even deserve a mention. In fact, I haven't drunk any in more than a year, and then some. Now whisky... oh what joy. My brother and his fiance are to blame for getting me in to it, and now I absolutely love the stuff. If I'm already fairly drunk I prefer to drink it as-is, but until then [though not if it's some of the expensive stuff] I'll drink it with coke. Doubles with coke. Today one of the bar staff misheard me when I asked for straight whisky and [somehow] gave me Jack Daniels with lemonade and, to be honest, it was pretty good. So good that it might just replace JD & Coke as my regular. [For the record, I spent £25 on drinking today - though £5 was spent on other people - and threw up twice, yet I still feel fairly sober. Though apparently I neither looked nor sounded it, so what do I know.] Now if you'll excuse me, I have a lecture in 6 hours time and am in desperate need of some sleep. = P

XP Which kind of makes getting them pointless I suppose. Still Strawberry Daiquiri's are good. Besides, my friends drink more than enough to cover my share and then some. lol

Dagger
Man, you guys are fancy. All I need is vodka & cranberry juice. Although really, I'm fine with anything that smothers the taste of the alcohol sufficiently... ~Dagger~
