[Trigun 11]

[SIZE="1"]After talking with Boo on AIM, I decided to post a couple of drawings and a collage I did a couple of years ago.

I did this like three years ago. I got all of the pictures from a surfing magazine that I got when visiting my Aunt like three years ago. and yes, that IS a monkey.

Drawing One:
It's a random picture I drew during study hall. and yes, I did name it Blanche.

The attached is a black and white picture that I took of my dog.

[SIZE="1"]Personally I like what you have drawn here. Of course the wolf looks cartoony but that is just me. Otherwise, I think it is rather well drawn and done well by a skilled hand that could grow into something much greater.

Ok, the collage one you did. It kind of confused me at first cause well, I had to stare at it before I figured out that they were WAVES. And it was interesting to see a picture of waves like that, with all the shading and everything. And I like the monkey on the bike, its just amazing :D

And then the picture of your dog, he is very cute and the black and white make it very interesting picture, also since there it another dogs but in the picture.

[COLOR="Red"]Everyone should know that I completely failed at critiquing this thread, so please do better then I did. Thats a picture of waves ok, my dee dee dee self thought they were stairs. So, don't make that mistake.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

[size=1]You can't go wrong with a monkey on a bicycle. Anyway, I really like the collages. The shade of blue is chosen well and it's cool that not one of the boards (are those your own designs?) is pasted vertically or horizontally straight on the collage. For a next time, you could add more to the collage. Don't be afraid to overlap or that it might look too busy or anything - it's a collage. :P I sure hope to see more of these in the future, because I love collages and it's not often that you see them here.

The drawings, like said, are evident of a hand that could surely grow into something really great. Especially the second pictures proves of that. It has really 'natural' lines, that flow into each other well, while still keeping that not entirely realistic style. Great job on the nose too. Maybe for a next time you could try some more poses, with the legs in the back of the picture in an other position than those in the fron of the picture and/or the head/neck of the creature in an other position. It's good anatomy practice. :]

The picture of the dog is adorable, I want such a dog too. :x The grey shades work well with the look of the dog. It's just a pity that the focus of the photo isn't entirely on him. Instead it seems to be on the floor. But it's a dog, so getting a clear focus is really difficult.

I hope that we'll see more of your work in the nearby future, I'm enjoying it and smell lot's of promise. :][/size]

Boo- I know it?s a collage. xD I didn?t want to overlap because I liked the shade of blue paint I used.

As for my next collage, it?s going to be OB-themed. I haven?t quite figured out what to put it in it. So, I?m open to suggestions.

[size=1]This sounds very silly, and I don't even like doing it myself so much, but you might want to try and create an ehm... Well, one of those brainstorm things with "OTAKUBOARDS" in a circle in the middle and you just write down all the words that come to mind when you think of OtakuBoards. Just go for quantity while you brainstorm and check for quality later. :P

I'll comment on the photos later, because now I'm rather busy, but I just want to mention that the first capture is really awesome. :][/size]
