Saio looked across the bay, wondering what was happening in the world. He knew that for the most part, it was uninhabited. He looked behind him, at the ruined skyline of Tokyo. Many skyscrapers were leaning haphazardly, or had just fallen over completely. So many familiar structures just gone.

He sighed, and walked from the building he was standing on. He carefully traversed the twisted girders, walking much like a tightrope walker, across the jumbled wreakage of what was once a massive and beautiful building. He made it back to stable ground, and to his bike, which sat on an outcropping of above water pavement.He gunned the engine, before peeling out and roaring back into the down town area. He stopped outside a building, one that looked like it had definitely seen better days. Many of the upperfloors had collapsed in on themselves, and random pieces of the building were scattered about. Saio had surmised that the building had once been a hotel.

He climbed the stairs, and kicked on a generator sitting in the hall. He smiled as the lights clicked on, some dangling from the ceiling. He walked to the balcony, and looked out across the city.

"I wonder..." he said out loud. "What's so important that only I was qualified for the job?"

[COLOR=Navy][B][FONT=Georgia]OOC: Red is Fayina speaking in Russian. For now I have no color for German, but I will come to that when she speaks it. Also I am not sure where we're supposed to be so I will have her in Russia.

[/FONT][/B][FONT=Georgia]Fayina walked the streets of Nyurba, looking at the crimson colored clouds over head. This was her home, and although she was glad to be back to it she couldn't stand the empty feeling it gave her since it always reminded that her parents were missing from this place.

Russia had changed many times over, and was now known as the A.S.N. (Allegiance of Soviet Nations) but even this regime was temporary. It was only a matter of time before someone else took power and reshaped the government. Fayina wondered if when that time came, she would be defended the current regime or try to help overtake it. This Russia however, was not the same as it was in the old days. It had its similarities, but they were few. Fayina did not think of this though. She thought nothing of the old Russia, this was the Motherland that she knew.

[COLOR=Red]"Good morning, comrade" [COLOR=Navy]Fayina waved to a passing man. He kept moving on however.

Fayina would have to leave. She had searched for days for work but found none. Also the climate would soon grow colder, and that wouldn't suit Fayina in her current state of dress. She decided to leave Russia and return later. No matter what this place made her feel now with the disappearance of her parents, she always returned.

At the airport, they gave her some trouble. But after negotiating that they could at least have an easier time seeing that she would have a hard time concealing something with no clothes on, they let her though. Fayina was not sure where to go though. On an impulse, she bought a ticket to Japan. She could always get another ticket to somewhere else if she decided that the land of the rising sun was not where she wanted to be either. Fayina found her seat at the plane. A woman sitting next to her asked Fayina what happened to her clothes but she ignored the woman and fell asleep. Japan would have some business for her there, she hoped and drifted off into a dream.

Saio looked across the ruined city, at the airport. Only one city remeined here, and it was to the north. And one could't really call it a city, more like a treasure hunter's free port.

To his left he heard gun shots, and then explosions. He turned, and watched as one of the monolithic structures leaned over and collapsed. He quickly went back inside, and and hokked up an odd looking device to his neck.He smiled, thinking this would be fun. In the bedroom of the suite, another body sat up, his remote prosthetic body. It looked quite young, it had been his body when he had been fifteen. The real Saio continued to sit in the chair, as this body went out onto the balcony. He used his legs to leap over the railing, falling several stories to the ground below. he used his body to fall down, and then landed on his feet, bending his legs and useing his hands to help stablize himself, and pulled out a semi-automatic machine gun from his bag. He smiled again, thinking this would be fun.

He soon came upon the battle zone, and he quickly ducked down into a subway entrance. Through the smoke and dust he could see several figures moving. Watching them, he could tell they weren't exactly human. One had a blast cannon exposed from his mouth, and was shooting everything that moved. Saio aims, and fires, picking the man off. He leaps up, only to be kicked down. He hits the ground hard, and looks up, seeing a modified soldier android. He picked himself up, and looked at his gun. It had been bents, it was useless. He tossed it away, and smiled, before running full force. He jumped, and kicked with enough force to sever the android's head, before coming back down. The others pointed their arms at him, and then several more shot cannons appeared. Saio leaped and ran around them, just barely managing to keep ahead of the barrage.

"Damn it all.... I had to get a body without weapons..."

He swung around a pole, and came flying at one of his assailants. He landed on them, crushing them under his legs. He leaped over the next, and ripped off the arm, before kicking the thing's head off. He turned to the last, baring his fist. He looked menacing, his hair blowing in the wind.

"I think it's time to lay you to rest now..." Saio again runs at the thing, a combat robot with a mind hack. "This is easy." He used the machine like a jungle gym, and attached a cord to the back of his neck, and then to a port on the robot. The machine shut down, and fell.

"Ah well... nothing to hard when it comes to hacking...."

[COLOR="DarkRed"]Rey walked through the stone archway, half of it was missng though. He came to a large empty feild. "Woah, this place is big." his voice echoed and slowly faded away. [B]"Guess nothings here, oh well."[/B] His right arm flashed and a bullet wizzed by his head. [B]"Thought I lost him." [/B]He removed his rifle form his back as his left eye started to glow, activating its sensors.

He peered into the darkness, and picked out the heat signature in the darkness. He raised the gun and aimed carefully. [B]"No treasures for you." [/B]He said as he squeezed the trigger. Rey walked away from the large column that he used for cover. He ejected the spent bullet from the sniper. He walked over to the fallen body and searched it. What he found was and jewel incrested scepter. [B]"Maybe I was wrong, there was some treasures here."[/B]

Rey left the large building with it's huge feild. [B]"Gotta love Italy, I'm sick of it already. Nothing like the old homeland" [/B]He went to his car and got in and drove to the closest city to catch a plane back. In the airport he had to go through some extra security and clearances so he can bring his gun on the plane. Four hours later the olane touched down in Tokyo. [B]"Better turn this find in." [/B]He went to his car and went to turn his find in.[/COLOR]

Saio was wise, he returned the body back to the room, and he used it to help him pack up what was needed. Most of the equipment had been salvaged, so he left it. Other than the device now in his bag, attached with a barely visible cord, he carried only some clothes and a few guns. The other body, it was rather mindless, and followed his mental comands. Saio was a genius when it came to matters of hacking and robotics. The two went back to the free port, returning with the data he had colected from the remains of the cyborgs that had been decimated. He had riped it from their memory banks and copied it to a hard disk. Saio gave the disk to his counterpart, and then sat down at a restaurant table, ordering some food. His remote body walked forth, to its destination. Saio was quite cautious, he didn't trust the information broker. The remote body would be a rather hard loss if it was destroyed, but it was better it than him. However, he needed maintenence work done on his prosthetics.

An incoming signal from his serious boss, a former intelligence officer came in. "Yes?"

"You delivered the info yet?"

"En route now. Why?"

"Well, apparently there's something they weren't telling you. Your client is dead."

"I see. What then? I haven't been paid yet."

"Just toss the data. It's not useful to you."

"Keep in mind i need some maintenance work done, and so does my other body."

"Yeah yeah... just come on in when you can. By the way, I'm taking several other people into my employ... you won't be so alone anymore."

"Fine." Saio stood, and he directed his body to the place where they were supposed to meet the boss, and made his way himself. The place wasn't far, it was quite a nice safe house.

[COLOR="DarkRed"]Rey drove through the streets and pulled up at a large building. He got out and took the scepter from the trunk and caried. it inside. Rey approached the young secretary. [B]"I'm here to see Mr. Drew."[/B] The secretary called up to his office. [B]"He'll see you in five minutes."[/B] she said. [B]"Thanks."[/B] he turned back to her and asked, [B]"What're you doin' later?" "Nope." "Damn, shot down again. My game's been off lately."[/B]

Rey started toward the elevator and got in. He pressed button nuber twenty-five. [I]Ding[/I] and the doors opened up and he got off as several people n expensie looking suits got on. He walked down a long hallway and knocked on a door with the name Drew, on it and went in. [B]"Got somethin' for ya."[/B] He tossed the scepter at the rather short man. He struggled but finally caught it. [B]"Thank you,"[/B] he set it down on the table and opened a slid some cash toward Rey. [B]"This should be more to your interest."[/B]

Rey picked up the money and counted [B]"Fifteen-hundred, I almost got my head shot off! If that happened you wouldn't have that chunk off gold and jewels!" "Still, It is rather nice to have such an item of my family's back." "Italy was in ruins when I got there like I told you. So the even remote chance of that being somehow conected to your family has a very small margin." "Whatever, here another fifteen-hundred."[/B] Rey took the cash and headed for the dorr. [B]"You know, I'm Italian to. So it could be my family's."[/B] Mr. Drew looked at Rey but he didn't see it as he was already out the door.[/COLOR]

Dart was wondering around a little mercenary city called New Ol, considering that it wasn't new but 20years old. When he was about 30miles away from their, he heard a gun fight going on between rival gangs that rome the area. If he walked into the battle, he would have to choose a side. Dart sneeked behind each others lines and talked to their commanders saying if they can fly me to my next job, I'll help them when their fight. Fortunatly, the one leader who was old and another survivor from the apocolypse agreed to fly me out on a cargo plane to Japan.

After just asking for a sniper cannon and a mid-close range assault rifle, I went to high ground where I could see the others fighting. Being in a full body battle armor is that it detects your allies by first getting visual records of their faces and their com link IDs. setting up the sniper cannon proved difficult due to its an older model than what I was trained to use but it didn't matter. A weapon is a weapon. Using a sat com link to the net (thank god for that net) i acquired tech read outs of the weapon and found its potential kill range.

It took 3 hours 33 minutes and 21 seconds to neutralize the threat. After getting the plane ticket to my next job I asked the old man if i could have the old weapon I used. That good old man let me have it for helping him restore the area to peace even if its for a short time. I thank the old man and boarded the cargo plane. Luckily it wasn't a passenger plane or I wouldn't been able to bring this cannon on.

It took almost 14 hours to reach my destination. As I stepped out I saw smoke coming from a sub way door opening. I was curious and went to investigate the smoke. When I activated my night vision, I saw a little boy no younger than 15 or 16 taking out battle robots. I hang back so not to interfer. The reason why I didn't step in was that hand to hand combat wasn't exactly his fight and the fact that i had no close range weapons.

After this kid finished off the last one, he smiled and left. I walked over to one that looked like it was in good shape minus the head and saw it was the company that did this to me. I ripped the hard drive from the central processor and plugged myself in to see whats it as been doing. Nothing, it looked as it deleted its memory after loosing its head. All the others we too damaged to hack into and one was hacked by that kid.

I had to find who ever that kid was. I needed that information to make those who took away my life. Since I had visual records and established the kids speed. i took off from the sub way to a power source nearby. After fighting like that with no weapon, the kid needed to recharge before moving on.

Saio's other body was late getting to the safe house, And Saio smiled. "You know, it really is too bad that controling only one other prosthetic body is my limit."

He smiled and moved his second body over to a 'garage' of sorts. There were several other people, all of them were Saio's. Saio owned many prosthetic bodies, and these were them. Usually, between countries, they were shipped around in coffins, under the guise of dead people. There were about eight all together, including three female bodies.

"Kinda makes me wonder, Why on earth did I keep them..?"

Saio looked down at the data disk, and sat it on the table. "Where's the boss?" He said out loud. He turned on the TV and then sat in a chair, plugging into the net. There, he played around on several web chat rooms, listening in on the debates rangine from the world wars, to the nutritional content of vaginal blood.

Another signal came in, and he answered it. "Yes, boss?"

"I've contacted several people coming into the country. They will be joining you there soon, as Will I."

"So, that's why you aren't here yet. Playing 'godfather' or something?

"No. I'm simply going to employ some fresh blood, or prosthetics, however you wish to think of it." In response Saio sighed. "I don't really care."

"What, are you mad?" The boss looked quite displeased. "You under the impression your skills aren't good enough?"

Saio only remained silent. He closed his eyes, listening for more.

"Only you can replace you, your hacking skills are unsurpassed. I simply feel that some missions are not easy for only one person to handle."

"That's fine. I'm not worried. This could be fun. I'll see you later." Saio ended the transmission, and reestablished a connection to the net. On finding nothing too interesting, he disconnected. Sighing, he wondered who else would be joining them.

"Dam it" said Dart, "I lost him great now where the hell am I?" Dart opened up a map he was given but found it to be usless considering that it was a map of this place before it became a dump. He walked around still hoping to catch a glimps of the boy who hacked that robot from his former "prison".

Dart went back to the plane but it was gone! "Oh, thats just perfect! First I lost site of that boy, then I get lost in this once great city thats now a dump, and now my plane is gone! This is just my day," Dart said to him self. He saw his bags of gear he had was in a little hut, Dart went over and pulled a field sat-dish reciever and transmitter and hooked uped to the net and looked for anything relating to his job here.

Dart found it but was a little unhappy when he saw the number of people signed up for this job inculding a little girl! "This is going to be one hard job with this many people around me. Better just keep to my self. Now where is that meeting point?" Dart noted in his digipad.

Dart noticed he had a mesege from the guy who employeed him and the others. The messege stated to meet the others at these GPS possition. (I can't tell you the GPS number location sorry)

Dart noticed that it was about 2-3 walk to their considering that he had no transport anymore and that the place was a little unstable. So he packed up the cannon and the Battle Rifle and the other little items Dart had and started walking.

[COLOR="DarkRed"][B]"What a cheapass." [/B]Rey complained as he left the building, stuffing his pay in a pocket. [B]"If I get the chance I'm stealing that artifact back."[/B] Rey's cell phone rang its annoying tone. [B]"Hello, Who this?" "Meet at this location." [/B]The signal cut off. Rey's arm flashed and he looked at it. [B]"This must be the GPS that stranger was talking about. Who are these other people?"[/B]

Rey got in his car and pulled the door down to its closed position. "He attached a cord from his arm to the computer in his car. It read the data and plotted the GPS position on the map, which was on the main screen. Rey turned on the radio and put the volumn on max as the song Alive and Kicking by Non Point blasted through the speakers. [B]"Time to figure out what this is all about."[/B] He put the car in first gear and took off.[/COLOR]

"Ok, I arrived at the preset location but still no one here." Dart said. "Good this would give me time to set up some sort of station for my stuff. Also time to let my power core cool off. I should try to get a more self cooling core, I think this one is going out."

After setting up his station and sitting down to let his core cool off, a car blasting music pulled up. "Hmmm must be one of the others who were also hirered to do this job. That car looks like it can be easly brooken, its ashame. Its a nice car too." Said Dart as the person stepped out of the car.

Saio heard the car pull up, and wondered who on earth would play their music so loud. He sttod up, and wet to go see what was going on.

His sharp eyes trailed the car, and saw the two near it. He doubted they had come together, but he assumed that they were here as 'recruits' for whatever the boss had planned.

"Welcome to one of our safe houses. My name is Saio. And you two are?"

Saio deftly looked them up and down, eyeing their every feature. They were obviously talented in whatever they specialized, or the boss wouldn't have hired them.

"Dart."

"Rey."

"Well, no sense in just standing around. Come on in." Saio looked to the one that was sitting. "We do have some maintenence station inside... much better than what you're using."

Saio led them inside, and smiled hen he saw them looking around. The safe house was spotless, and resembled a grand suite. Saio's other bodies were in their 'garage' and other than that, the entire place was absolutely beautiful.

"You like the accomadations? I designed this place myself."

"I'm... not used to such places...." Dart started, and Rey nodded in agreement. Saio only smiled. Dart keenly looked Saio up and down, before saying, "You look familiar."

"Oh? Do I?" Saio smiled. "Not many people have means to say that. You must have seen me around here. Or maybe you saw him." Saio nodded to the remote prosthetics. On seeing Dart's reaction, he smiled. "So, you did see him."

Saio walked over to the body, and smiled. It's head was bowed, its eyes closed.

"This one was once my own body, when I was thirteen, until I was eighteen. Then I switched to this one." Saio smiled again, his hand moving along the glass.

"I take it you have some buisness with me then, Dart?"

Leon was growing frustrated, a regular employer of his had recently disappeared without a trace and he was feeling the effects of the lack of work. His regular points of interest in Tokyo had faded, leaving him with very little to do besides minor crime. It was in his intentions to return to Europe soon if he was unable to find work in order to meet his growing bills. "There has got to be somethign to do out here" he whispered as he looked out over the once great skyline of Tokyo.

It was from a perch on a rooftop that he spotted an old rival in the business. "What the hell is that punk Uzu doing here". Saio Uzu had cost Leon a lucrative deal a few years ago and had in effect forced Leon to undertake a few dangerous treasure hunts in order to keep living nicely. He watched as Saio greeted two young guys, they must have been hired by another contractor. "They don't look old enough to be compotent" Leon rudely muttered to himself as the trio entered Saio's safehouse.
Leon quickly dismounted from his lookout point, he was genuinely interested in this meeting and if he himself could gain anything from it. He could always follow them in order to find out the deal behind htis unexpected gathering.

Dart looked at Saio and asked him. Hey, you hacked a Data Mind assault bot earlier. I would like to have any information you stool from it. I have unsettled business with them" Dart said.

Saio looks at him.

Saio sighed. "Well, since you asked so nicely." Saio picked up a data disk from the table next to him, and tossed it to Dart. "Here ya go. The client that wanted that is dead, I have no use for it, so I might as well give it to you. Sucks, too, I never got paid."

"Well, why are we here now?" Dart asked, looking rather impatient, tucking the disk away. Saio just shrugged. "Well, my boss is hiring you. But, That's all I know."

"I see." Saio sat down on the couch, and turned on the television, sighing."And nothing's on.."

Saio looked out the window, to spot a familiar face watching. "It seems we have a peeping tom. But, no matter. He's always spying on me. I think he''s still pissed off about the past dealing we had."

Saio shrugged, and blew Leon a kiss, just to mess with his mind. Saio sent a com comunication to Leon.

[I]"Why don't you just go ahead and come inseide? I think it will be better for you than to just sit ouside listening. Think of it as a personal invitation."[/I]

Saio turned back around to the television, and invited his companions to sit and watch it .

"Would either of you two like something to eat?" Saio asked, and stood up. "I'm starving. Saio walked into the kitchen, and began making sandwiches. He didn't care if he was trusted or not, he had no reason not to just yet, in this situation. He finished, grabbed some sodas, and brought them into the living room, and smiled.

"Enjoy." Saio poped one in his mouth, savoring the taste. He loved that prosthetics had come so far, and his body could simulate every aspect of the normal human.

[COLOR="DarkRed"][SIZE="2"]Rey took up Saio's offer of food with out hesitation. [B]"Food? Sure, I'm starvin'. Long flight from Italy and having to deal with a cheap contracter. Would've handled the situation differently if security hadn't been crawling around."[/B]

He pulled out his revolver and set it down but noticed something in the cylinder, nothing, as he did. [B]"Guess it wouldn't have mattered, I have no ammo for this anyway. And I left my sniper in the car."[/B] He removed his rifle and leaned it against the counter, thinking it impolite keeping it on.

Rey started eating, his long trip to Rome and back gave him no opportunity to eat, so the sight of food for the first time in the last two days was quite enjoyable. [B]"So, what importance does that data have anyway?"[/B] asked Rey as he watched the transaction between Dart and Saio. [B]"Your a noisey little runt."[/B] Dart said [B]"You wouldn't be saying that if I would've spotted you with that thing now would you?"[/B] He pointed to his weapon, laughed and went back to eating.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[I]How the hell did he notice me?[/I]

This was what Leon thought as he pushed open the door into the somewhat shabby quarters that Saio kept. He acknowledged the two younger guys with a nod but only treated Saio with a scowl. He wasn't quick to forgive past discretions and his grudges had a tendency to last a long time.
"Now why would The Strong One choose to overhear someone as unimportant as me?" Saio asked mockingly, rudely using Leon's calling name to remind him of Saios past victories. Leon angrily gestured a throat slit with his thumb and cracked his left shoulder loudly. "I'm overhearing, because I'm broke" Leon growled lowly, just barely audible for everyone to hear him.

"My names Leon by the way. Leon Johanason" He stated towards the others, hoping that his reputation preceded him. If the two had heard of him previously than they didn't show it which Leon took as a sign to take a seat and stop trying to intimidate them. "So anyway" Leon said as he sat down, "What is with the gathering?"

"Well I don't exactly know, I saw a flier in the Merc Central and decided that I could use the money to replace parts." Dart said taking the data back out that Saio so kindly gave him.

"Saio, if its not to rude of me to ask. Why did you hack the Data Mind bot? Im sure your previous client wanted that data for something important." Dart said looking at Saio.

"Im sure you know that client information is not avalible to someone who wasnt employed by the employeer." Saio indicated to Dart.

"Your right. Client intell is restricted from none employeed personal. Did you find anything interesting besides the data recorded on this disk?" Dart stared back to Rey. "Are you planning to use that or just let the jammed firing ping explode?" Dart said to Rey.

When Dart said that another person walked in. Saio greeted him like he knew him.
The strange guy noded to him and Rey then showed hatred towards Saio.

(OoC: Ok I realized that I posted a really short one and I am sorry. I'll be out for Thanksgiving. So Inuyasha plz take over my character.)

"Hey Saio, wheres your maintance station? I'd like to repair Rey's gun before it misfires and to fix my body. It was damaged in a fire-fight earlier this week." Dart asked Saio with respect for the young hacker.

"Why its down the hall, two doors to the right, and through a big swinging door." Said Saio.


"Thanks Saio, Rey your gun please unless you want to be hurt or killed by your own weapon." Dart said with a serious tone.

Rey didnt say a word and just handed the gun to me.

"Thanks again for the data Saio. Hopfully it will give up some information relating where it was sent from. Now I take my leave, inform me when all the rest arrive."Dart said nodding to Saio.

Saio bid Dart away with a mile, and looked as he walked off in the direction that he went. Saio then turned to Leon.

"You asked about the gathering. My own boss is hiring again. So, They are here to wait until we get it."

Leon sneered unpleasantly. "What, you aren't good enough?"

Saio only sighed, and smiled derisively. "Are you still holding a grudge?" Saio shook his head. " I'd have thought you were over that by now. But, It's of no concern of mine." Saio stood up, and smiled again. "Like I said, this is a personal invitation, to work for my boss, not me. You have some talents we could use."

"Ugh. Flattering me, after what you did?"

"No. Stating the obvious." Saio walked back torwards the kitchen, and yawned. "This is so boring, waiting for Boss."

"Why are you helping me?" Leon asked, more so demanding of an answer.

"I know you're having financial problems. I simply assumed you'd like an opportunity to be employed. Saio shot a glance at one of his remote bodies, and she stepped out from her glass encasement. She smiled broadly, and advanced on Leon. She was beautiful, her long blonde hair cascaded in waves down her voluptuous figure.

"You still have that?" Leon asked, his face written with surprise.

"Yes. She's quite a find, you don't just throw something like her away." Rey stood up, looking at this female. "She's well made." He comments.

"She's also a prototype weapon." At this the girl smiles, and raises her arms. they let out a pop, and several weapons emerge from them. Her left eye rolls up into the back of her head, revealing a sniper scope mod, and her leg pops open as well, turning in a kind of stand to brace herself.

Leon only snorts. "Why on earth do you have that thing?"

"She comes in handy as a body guard."

Saio piloted the body back into the chamber, and smiled. "She's quite a find, like I said."

"Yeah, but I would have banked If I had found her first."

Saio only smiles. "I know. But, I wanted another pretty dolly." Saio shakes himself. "Now, Let's eat something. There's sandwiches and soda on the table."

Saio yawned, went to sit on the couch. "Come on Leon, I wouldn't have asked you in if I planned to kill you. That's not my style."

"Says the person who never dies. I've seen you get killed on a multitude of occasions."

"All remote prosthetics. I assure you, I'm the real deal." Saio leaned is head back, and sighed. "Where the hell is the boss?"

"Finally, the maitaince bay," says Dart walking into the room. "Now I can repair this rifle and also see if I could use anything to repair myself. I should ask Saio if I could use some of the spare parts in here." Dart says to himself.

Dart walks over to the table with tools scatered across its surface. He places the rifle down on the table and says to himself, "Man, I hate being a room with more than one person at a time. As Dart opened the drawer, he saw a new power core with a advance cooler that wasnt even on the market yet. Dart never takes anything with out asking for approval or purchase. He left it alone and went back to fixing Ray's rifle.

About an hour and a half Dart repaired Ray's rifle and went back to the lobby he last saw him in. When Dart entered the lobby he saw Ray still sitting their.
"Ray heres your rifle. Make sure you take better care of it. It wouldnt last another fire fight." Dart indicated to Ray.

"Yeah, yeah. If it breaks I'll just replace it." Ray says laughing. Dart leaves Ray alone and searches for Saio to ask him if it was ok to take some parts to upgrade his body.

[COLOR=Navy][FONT=Book Antiqua]It had been quite a long flight, but Fayina finally made it to the land of the rising sun. She had called ahead to make sure that her cousin knew she was coming. Fayina knew some Japanese, but she wasn't exactly fluent. So her cousin Konata's help in translating would be a great help. Also, unlike Fayina, Konata knew a lot about Tokyo and the surrounding area. She would be the perfect guide to finding a job and maybe even some weapons, if the job depended on them.

Fayina spotted her cousin. If a stranger saw the two of them together, he or she would have a hard time noticing that they were related at first glance. But the resemblance was there, if you looked for it. Even though Konata had distinctly Asian features, and Fayina's were European.
Fayina bowed, and Konata hugged her cousin, skipping the formalities.
"Fayina, it is good to see you. How have you been?"
Fayina returned the hug and with a frown, she answered.
"Well, if you have not heard..."
Konata put a hand to Fayina's lips.
"Shhh, I know. Don't worry about that now okay? We will find them."
With another hug, she led Fayina out of the airport.
"Come on, I've got a car waiting."

On the way to Konata's house, and after a few minutes of small talk and catching up, Konata asked:
"So what brings you here, Fayina? Is it just a friendly visit, or something else?"
Fayina looked out the car window, and then back to her cousin.
"Well, I would like it to be just that. But I am looking for a job actually. I need some money, and no donations this time please. If you would like to help, I could use some contacts and info."
Konata smiled. "Sure thing." She nodded.
Fayina looked out the window again, wondering if she was going to be able to find any work in Japan or if she would have to travel again.

Saio smiled, and bowed his head. They were still waiting. Dart came back into the room, looking like he had a question to ask.

"What is it, Dart?"

You got some parts I'd like to use for maintenence." Dart looked keenly at Saio. "Can I use them?"

"Yeah, sure. I can't install any of those, people give them to me as rewards for jobs well done, as well as my payment. My bodies are all custom made, those parts don't quite cut it."

"Ah. I take you have a lot of illegal parts as well?"

"No, not really. I just know how to use what I have, and my parts are much better than standard. Sad to say, that while I'm thankful for the bonuses, I'd rather sell them to other people."

Saio yawned, and the television cuts out. "Hello, everyone. I take it you all made it there safely?"

Saio shrugs. "Eh, we're a bit worse for wear, but we're alright."

"I see you invited someone else. A mister Leon something or other."

"Eh, just take pity on him. If He wants the job, then he'll work. I'm sure he knows you pay well. That, and there's government perks."

"How true." The man that has just walked in the room looked around at all of them. "It's up to you if you want to work for me. There is an organization that is causing pandemonium in the cyberized world. They are causing suicides, by hacking a person's cyber brain. Also, there is an interesting fact. All of these people were related to one particular group opposing them, or were hired to do a job for them."

Saio smiles. "Again? This kind of stuff is getting routine."

The man shakes his head. "This [I]Le Miserable[/I] we're dealing with."

Saio looks up, surprised. "Taurus? He's behind this?"

Dart looks like he's lost. "Who's that?"

Rey nods, he's curious too. Leon only scowls.

"Taurus is the person responsible for me being an orphan. He's also the reason I exist." Saio clenched his teeth, and the glass table cracks. His abilities were begining to get the better of him.

"Well then. We go after him?"

"We wait. He's coming into the area soon, near the ruins of Tokyo."

"Ah, so he'll be just a few kilometers away."

"You wait for three hours until he is here. Then, you kidnap him and deprive information from him. You will be joined by one other person. She has not yet received communication. She isn't cybered, unlike the rest of you."

[COLOR="DarkRed"][B]"What type of hardware we using?"[/B] Rey asked as he picked up his rifle and slung it on his back once more.[B] "That I'm leaving up to you." [/B]said the man on the TV. [B]"Right. If we need guns, I have a connection here in Japan. They owe me big, so I'm sure they wont mind handing over some [I]toys[/I] we could use."[/B]

[B]"Anyway, about this Taurus guy. What do we know about him, how many accomplices, equipment? This can get bad real fast."[/B] Rey was a little nervous. He was used to taking out targets from far away. The thought of acctually having to get close was a bit uneasy. He touched the rifle on his back, [B]"How bigs his head?" [/B]he asked jokingly to calm himself.[/COLOR]

Saio jerked his head around, peering at Rey.

"This guy means business. He's one of those people who thinks he's all that and a bag of chips. I've brought him down a peg on more than one occasion, though I've never been able to bring him down. He's never been able to kill me, either."

Rey shook his head. "He's really that bad?"

Saio snorts. "And if you think he is, just wait until you get a load of his organization. They rule the underworld, they are like kings of illegal activity. I'm not above that kind of stuff, but I don't condone how they go about things."

Saio sits back, and looks at his watch. He's curious, they still have another two and a half hours to go. Saio looks to leon, and smiles. "You wanna work? You still have time to bail out."

[COLOR=Navy][FONT=Book Antiqua]When Fayina arrived at Konata's house, they were both surprised at the letter that Konata found waiting for Fayina.
"Well, that was fast." Fayina commented.
"And a little weird. How did they know you would be here?"
Fayina shrugged.
"I don't know, but at least it is work right?"
"Yeah I guess so..."
Konata seemed a bit worried. Fayina hugged her and smiled.
"Don't worry, I am sure it will be fine." Fayina said, trying to reassure her.
"I will tell you all about it when I get back okay?"
Konata smiled.
"Sure. Let's get your stuff in then and get you ready."
With Konata's help, Fayina soon got all of her luggage inside and then they took a bath. None of Konata's clothes fit Fayina, so she told her not to worry.
"Now I just need a gun." Fayina said, thinking of possible places to get one in such short notice. "I doubt they will provide me with one when I get there. Do you know of anyone I can get one from?"
"Actually, I do." Konata giggled.
She motioned Fayina to follow her and showed her several different types of guns and ammo. Fayina smiled, hugged Konata and picked out what she needed.
"Okay, now let's get you to that job of yours."

Twenty-six minutes later, Fayina arrived at her destination.
"Which one of you is Saio?" She asked, looking around.
