I just wanted to post here to say I probably won't be able to post in Almagest until this weekend at the soonest, unfortunately I've exams at the moment and just don't have the time to make RPG posts. I'll try to keep abreast of everything that's happening in the story though.

Josh, I have a small issue with the way you've portrayed Daedalus in your post. Even if himself and Fonty are not very close, I'm certain Daedalus wouldn't snap at him over something as simple as who's going to take Magitech over after he dies, in fact with his condition I imagine it's something he'd be seriously considering.

If you want to have Fonty express an interest in selling Magitech I imagine that might make Daedalus a bit angry, as he sees it as something that ties the family together, much like Rosengard. But I don't think Daedalus would actually lash out physically or verbally over it, maybe just express a distaste at Fonty's intentions and a will to not let it happen.

I was a little unsure of how I portrayed Daedalus, so I'll edit that right now. I figured that he was still recovering from his injury, and may have had him overreact to the idea that Fonty would consider selling the company without consulting him.

Edit: I made the edits and I actually think this version is more true to the characters. I hope you agree.
CHAOS Kids (Aaryanna, Mom, Indi): Make sure to note that CHAOS was robbed the previous night. Is CHAOS in session 'today?' Did we ever have a clear answer on that?
Chaos will be in session and I will posting to that effect soon. I've been understandably distracted by something else that literally required quite a bit of writing. I can't recall the last time when I've done so much writing in such a short time frame.

Anyway, I will be back a little later with a post since this a perfect opportunity to show how it is Catherine who is taken seriously by the students and not the Head Master. I have a very specific idea in mind that I intend to do here.

Speaking of CHAOS, we added the 8th Chronicle, this one focusing on CHAOS Academy. Special thanks to Mom for writing that up for us. I imagine that we'll be learning even more about the school now that CHAOS is back in session.

I won't be posting for a bit either since I've kind of been feeling sick. >_< So other than to do homework I haven't been doing much else other than to take it easy. I imagine that either my Mom or Crystia can insert Victoria into their posts if they like.

Also, why in the world does that picture of Chaos in the chronicle look familiar somehow? I'm sure I've seen it somewhere before. That's going to drive me nuts until I figure it out. XP

All hell is about to break loose in New Czenoble, for those who are going to be in the area. :catgirl:

Edit: Well, looks like things have started. As you can see, the RPG gunship Vigilant has begun firing on the crowd in New Czenoble.

Many members of the crowd are also Underdogs and they have brought their own weapons - they are firing back.

My next post is going to include a couple of major events, including the downing of the Vigilant. This symbolic win by the Underdogs is going to strengthen them and it's going to scare the hell out of the leaders in High Czenoble.

I am mentioning this here because I've discussed it with Shy/Rach/Raiha and I wanted everyone to be aware of what I'm planning just in case (I know most of you aren't in New Czenoble, but there may be references to this in High Czenoble).

Also, just for detail's sake... the RPG in High Czenoble will be going into spin initially. They will deny firing at the crowd as a first resort and they will initially deny the downing of the gunship. The Underdogs, though, will provide proof to the citizens of High Czenoble soon enough.

Edit: Here's the imagery for Audrey. I found an image that really suited my idea of her.

Okay, I'm back to business now. In my latest post I have tried to explain my character's motives that some of you were confused about. Hope I could make them more clear now.

Gadget will be at the center of events in New Czenoble as well, but I aim to return him to High Czenoble after that.

James. Allow Jack to take down the vigilant. he's in his ship and it would make a lot of sense for him to do the honors. I'm sure whatever you've planned can fit that little change in it.

I've already thought of the technical details for it and I've been itching for a chance to show off the Cygnus in all its technical glory.

Hm...maybe PM me with your idea, Malkav. My intention is that the crowd of Underdogs will take down the Vigilant (given the size of the ship). The Underdogs (in Rach's post) have already begun engaging it.

Maybe Jack can deliver the final blow.

Edit: Actually, don't worry about the PM. You can write what you want, but yeah, it'd be good if it were a "final blow". I'm sure the crowds will go crazy when Jack sinks it! Heheh.

Your Audrey avatar has the wrong dimensions.

There you go. The main page of the RPG has been updated to include her avatar as well.

Yeah, that's why I ended up removing it earlier. I figured I'd just make a replacement later on, but this is a pleasant surprise. Your version is actually framed a lot better anyway. ~_^

Thanks much!

I'm looking forward to developing her a bit further, now that everyone knows what she looks like. :catgirl:

Just a quick note on the injections that Alecia gave to Morphia. They weren't like getting a regular shot, they were more like what is often done for someone who suffers from arthritis. Where one gets a shot of Cortisone that is put directly into the joint area.

The idea here is that the special solution, via a trained potionist, is given where the actual break is located. Which is why Alecia was referring to it being painful. Anyway, I wanted to clear that up since when she's telling her it will help her bones heal properly and be strong enough for activity once she heals, she means it, the special potion is designed to do just that, work with the bones as they heal.
Is there a time to how long it will take for her to recover? How quickly do the injections allow the body to heal?
I deliberately left that vague since I wasn't sure what kind of time frame you were looking at as far as Morphia being in the hospital. Just as I left the nature of the breaks in her bones vague as well. The idea is that depending on the type of break, how young the patient is, etc. It can take anywhere from a few weeks to over a month. Followed up by some physical therapy of course. However, that's open to what you feel would work best. I don't see it happening in less than a week, but that's just me. The good thing is other than some potential scarring [again, depends on the type of break] she'll be able to be a Chimera Jockey again once she's fully healed. If that doesn't work we can always hammer out the details for something else.

AWith the help of the potions Alecia uses as treatment I imagine that she will be mobile with help of a wheelchair soon, maybe in the next day or so. She has a long way to go with her recovery, but she can move around with assistance and probably return to Rosengard in a few days. The accident was never meant to remove Morphia from the story. I like writing Morphia a lot, and I'm very eager to see you take over for her full-time, Cyriel.

If anything I think the accident makes her a more sympathetic character and adds some more tension to Henry/Morphia/Bavaria.

After all, that would be the magi technology side of what is in those injections. Making such a quick recovery possible. That and Morphia's not my character so it wouldn't be fair for me to make such a decision for her as far as the timing goes.

Oh that Victoria Ann and the children! lol It seems that things are going to get slightly chaotic when the Head Master opens the door to his office. Those naughty children! I suspect that Catherine is going to need to get things back in order. Also... sooner or later I need to work in what Catherine thinks of Lector Moebius. I've certainly hinted that she is not pleased with him at all.

I'm not entirely sure how Lector Moebius has wronged the children, though, except being somehow "unqualified" in their eyes and having a stick up his butt. But I guess the children need a villain, too, since they can't go throw stinkbombs at Gaul Rosier, for example. ;D

James, you're going to post that scene next, am I right? Just checking...

After the events of New Czenoble are over, I'm going to write a special post with a new landmark that greatly deviates from the previous ones. So you all can look forward to that. ;D

Rich kids are bound to be snobby like their parents. :p Harrison and Victoria aren't but they've heard all the gossip from the other kids. Who of course heard it from their parents. They weren't happy about him prying into their affairs though.

And Aaryanna hinted that he spends his spare time at the school prying and attempting to gain favor with the more influential families. If he's really unqualified. That easily transfers from adults [parents], to kids to the Head Master... think of Anne of Green Gables and the Pringles and you'll get what I'm saying here. I assure you, Aaryanna, Kathy and I aren't making him a villain, we're portraying him as a butt kissing historian in a position he doesn't deserve.

A few points about my latest post:

The vagrant deliberately followed Vincent and Audrey to Muldova.

The Chimaera Stable is deliberately empty, so that their discussion can be heard.

The vagrant is, in fact, an officer of the Guard (thus the gold watch, which a vagrant would otherwise not possess).

Vincent did not see them coming; he was shot in the back of the head. Audrey witnessed this.

Audrey will be arrested.
I hope that this post does not break any rules or interfere with anything. I wanted to show the extent, at least partly, of Rosier's cruelty. Unfortunately Vincent was one of the best ways to show it.

If any of this post does interfere with Shy/Sandy's plans, please let me know. I hope it all makes sense.

The Dynast King is dead, and has chosen an heir to follow him to the Crystalline Throne.

The trick is that we don't know who he chose yet. Thus we put up a public poll as the landmark to decide it. Remember that the choice you make could have a big effect on how the rest of the story plays out. ;D

You have three days time to make your vote, after which the result will be revealed in the game. Here are the candidates, once again.

Ah, first to vote I see. Clearly someone totally bald can't be a ruler so naturally it has to go to the person with the most hair. We all know skinheads make unfit rulers... *cough*

So I had an idea in the way of exposition. James. Other people? Got your attention? Oh whatever.

Macey getting two notes almost simultaneously. Vincen'ts death and Alecia's pregnancy. Virtually all at once. I think it'd be nice and overly symbolic don't you?

But I'm wondering how soon she'd find out, that and if the same people would tell her about Audrey's imprisonment, because she'd feel almost obligated to rescue her or at least speak for her. Maybe she and Gustave can stage a prison break! HAH!

Gaul Rosier isn't exactly going to want to publicize the fact that one of his highest ranking officers was just killed.

And bald men are supposednly quite virile, I'm sure they would make an excellent ruler!
