Bah, with the way the Guard are acting of late, you'd think he'd be happy to see a more highly trained force. That, and at least we don't have to deal with traitors in our ranks. ^_~
That's the problem though, he doesn't know that. He's just understandably nervous after what he had to do or rather say to his superior. Now as far as where we are currently with Daedalus arriving at Rosengard... I'm not sure where to run with it. XP So is someone else going to advance that part of the story?

Some people may not agree, but I think the day is taking entirely too long, especially since it's like a buffer until the real deal on the next day. So I pushed to the next day. If anyone had anything to do, let me know and I'll drop the post under there's after they post.

Plus, I did want to do something with the parent teacher meetings at Chaos which were also the previous day. I've got something in mind and moving to the next day and skipping it just won't do. So I say we poke Shy or Sandy for that landmark so I can post my bit at Chaos and you can then move us to the next day.

Apologies to everyone. I have had a terrible internet connection, and although I promised to write an 'enormous' post today it simply didn't come together the way I wanted it. Instead I chose to use fewer characters, and leave Daedalus' discussion with Fonty/Eva open for other characters to opt in or out of.

The night is far from over, but we'll try to hurry through those segments as quickly as possible.

I don't really know what the hold-up is with the next Landmark. If Sandy doesn't post it in the next day or so I'll just do it myself. Obviously we've both been really busy, but I promise one of us will get to that.

I'm sorry, I've really been busy these couple of days. I don't mind if you post the announcement, Josh. You could include new avatars for Primas and Juvenus, as I was going to do that. ;D

And remember that up until the announcement, no one's allowed to speak inside the Mirror Palace. There's nothing else to it that I was thinking (well, except writing it from Augustine's p-o-v, but that's your choice).
She's going onboard the Sentinel regardless, so it doesn't really matter. You can just say Jack didn't get a good look
I just wasn't sure, as you said, it doesn't matter a whole pile. I'll just say something about her being transferred as part of Daedalus' orders to capture Jack. Going to be interesting to see how she reacts to seeing him, as he made it pretty clear he didn't want the deal to go ahead, although this might be a little too extreme. Heh.

Okay, so the new Dynast ruler has been announced. I obviously had to use Agron in a prominent way, Malkav, so you might want to repost your latest post for continuity's sake.

I have one more post to do on this 'day,' as do a couple of other players. Hopefully we can wrap up this 'day' either today or tomorrow. Sorry about the delays.

Ooh, I'll bet the little Princess is just fuming over this, a pity she's up against a man who's already eliminated two other [strike]rivals[/strike] siblings. All that plotting and scheming and treason for nothing.

I imagine the whole Almagest clan will have to make some kind of appearance at the formal coronation, assuming what was there with Deacon was just the informal one. It'll be interesting to see how it affects the attempts to solve the clues.

Primas is very business-oriented, so aside from meeting with Daedalus and Bavaria I can't imagine he'd want to see anyone else.

So aside from those two everyone can go about their business as usual.

I assume the formal coronation is the following day? Anyway, I left it vague as to what each person explained to Daedalus and now, everyone is past that point. Though I couldn't resist leaving him in Harriet's clutches. Hehe. I'd say that is going to be a very interesting conversation. :p Anyway, if I got anyone wrong, let me know and I'll edit the post. >_> That was a lot of people to keep track of. XP

Well, well, well. Interesting twist there in Kathy's post. All I have to say is that Hugo Black had better hope Daedalus never finds out he was responsible for that. Or for actually touching Catherine. Otherwise, connection to the Dynast or not, Daedalus is likely to kill him with his bare hands.

I just know that Shy is snickering right about now, considering my warning in regards to Macey and Eva... seems like I warned the wrong character when it came to this type of situation occurring.

I feel so clueless in that it never crossed my mind that of all people, Catherine would get snatched. I know he had Rach banging his head on his desk with that last post of his. XP

Anyway, I'm mainly posting just to say that I'm kind of a bit brain dead on account of recovering from a sinus infection that started over the weekend. Headaches and attempting to post do not go together very well. It's getting better so I'll probably be up to posting again in a few days.

To add another twist into the bunch, I think my latest post will clear up on what exactly the Underdogs want with their kidnappings. Catherine's capture gave me a perfect chance to elaborate on that, so thanks for that. ;D

And I hope you don't forget to post about the previous riddle to the game, because you now have another puzzle to solve.

Yes, the text in the latest Landmark does mean something, so have fun finding out what it says! ;D

Okay, so my post will tie in with what's happening to some degree.

I'm not sure which camp Audrey will go to (Doberman or Labrador or whatever), but she will need to be in the same camp that Jack ends up in. Malkav and I have something organized there, which should work out pretty well I hope.

So I don't care if, for some reason, Audrey somehow can't or shouldn't end up in the same place as Leonhart.

What's with the tone? ;D

Since the Underdogs have an unnumbered amount of camps around Czenovia, it's your choice where Audrey is taken - it can be either of the two mentioned, or completely another one. Most of the kidnapped scientists are kept in Camp Rottweiler in the underground city, but that's not to say there aren't any captives elsewhere as well.

I don't think we have any set plans on what will happen with Leonhart and Catherine, except of course we're all aiming on getting them out of there before the game ends. Right? ;D

To put it simply... I am not amused. Catherine is not amused. And drama or not... I want it known that I utterly object to how that was handled. :animeangr
I just don't seem to do anything right, do I? ;P

I deleted Catherine from my post, but the Landmark is still in effect. So please, have a go with it!
No, you just don't collaborate enough hun. I'm sorry, but that's all there is to it. That's an unbelievably huge event in Catherine's life and part of this rpg. I've been inserting hints into my posts for quite some time now so of course I'm going to object if that is messed up. I've put a lot of thought and work into it. It's important to me that it's done right. Most of us spend a certain amount of time using pm's or chat services to talk to the other players to help make sure we get their responses correctly. You can't just post and ignore that, not for major events. I'm sorry to give you grief, but that was so not Catherine. I had to.

Well, if this is about me living on a different time zone than the rest of you, then I don't think it can be helped. I don't use AIM much, but I'd appreciate if those PMs were flung at my way too, every once in a while.

It doesn't help that you collaborate amongst you players, me and Josh as the game-makers need to know where you want to go as well.

But when it all boils down, this is just a message-board RPG, so it would help if some of us were a tad less perfectionistic about it. I know I'm guilty of it as well from time to time, but I think I've loosened up since we began.

Do you know what it's like to have one member leading the rpg say, this is what we are going to do, you do it and the other posts and utterly contradicts what you've been planning? It's not perfectionism, it's surprise that those who are supposedly leading the rpg aren't on the same page.

So what it boils down to is why the hell are we still doing this? If we need to be sending you the chat logs, then would someone just say so? I'm at my wits ends here since honestly... I worked hard to get things just right. I can't help that you and Shy don't seem to be on the same page dear.

To borrow a phrase from other players... *bangs her head on her desk and leaves the room to come back and discuss it later* :animesigh

I'm sorry, guys, but hosting an RPG together is not an easy task. Anyone who has actually been through that must know what I'm talking about.

I will sort this issue out with Shy. After we've talked, we let you know what we've decided.
