[COLOR="Navy"][FONT="Comic Sans MS"]Shoko entered the clearing, Drago and Talon walking with her; she went to the middle where there was a stump and made a small notch there with her sword. She looked up at the sun and saw it was in position to make the time around 9:00 am. She looked over her shoulder as Drago settled on the ground with a loud thump and put hi head down.
"Drago, could you make any more noise?"
He thumped his tail on the ground making it tremble.
"Never mind."
Shaking her head she smiled and looked around, it was to early for the others to be there at the moment but she was sure that they would be along any minute. She sighed and leaned on Talon who moved away letting her tumble to the side.
"Not right Tal."
He shook his head and curled up next to Drago waiting for the others to arrive. They were all there for the fact that they had all lost something to the war and were looking for a way to stop it, there were some that she knew would come this time that didn't think it possible, Morte would be one of them. He was sceptical that there was a way to stop the war and doubted that he would return after this meeting. She recalled the last time that they had all gathered, some brought others that thought like they did and others just came and went thinking it was impossible. She was glad that there were a few that still thought this was doable. Most of them, like her, couldn't even remember the reasons behind the war. She took a deep breath and went over to where Talon and Drago were sitting and sat with them waiting for the others.[/FONT][/COLOR]



Okay everyone, meet up with Shoko and once everyone gets there we'll get this thingie rolling.

[Starwind]

Emilio was walking leisurely along this humble back road. Not a worry in the world. Miles was a bit less comfortable with the situation. He didn't like the idea of meeting some girl they didn't even know to try and end a war they weren't even aware of. Miles perched himself on Emilios' shoulder [COLOR="blue"][B]"Your just going for a chance to flirt with some girl, aren't you!"[/B][/COLOR]

Emilio simply smiled and kept right on walking. Den was flying far over head, keeping an eye out for them. Miles continued to do little more then complain about the situation. Miles gave a huff[COLOR="Blue"] [B]"I don't like the idea of getting involved with these humans."[/B][/COLOR]

Emilio glanced at Miles [COLOR="Cyan"][B]"I'm human too, in case you forgot."[/B][/COLOR]

Miles chuckled a bit [COLOR="Blue"][B]"I've never thought of you as some foolish human. You know that, my boy. You had the good fortune to be raised by myself and Den. Otherwise you might have already died in this pointless war."[/B][/COLOR]

Emilio laughed it off as Den began to fly down to the ground to join them. As Den touched down on the ground she called out to them [COLOR="Red"][B]"The clearing is only a few hundred yards ahead. I can see the woman and her dragon already waiting for us."[/B][/COLOR]

Emilio nodded and the three continued on foot til they came into the open clearing. There stood a blonde woman with both a large griffon and a dragon standing there with her. Emilio slowly approached this woman, Den and Miles being a bit more reserved, deciding to wait til they could trust her before coming out of the woodline.

Emilio walked right over to her with a smile on his face and a streak of confidence [COLOR="Cyan"][B]"I'm assuming your Shoko. I must say I wasn't expecting you to be quite so lovely."[/B][/COLOR]

Emilio could practically hear Miles and Den letting out there irritated sighs from here.

[Zero Sephiroth]

“Hooray! We’re finally here! And we’re not late…I think!”
Rei winced and covered his ears, as the Oni Sprite sat atop his right shoulder yelled out once they had entered the clearing, waving her arms in the air. He looked besides him at the dragon walking slowly alongside the two of them. From what Rei could tell, the dragon had a look of annoyance across his face at the Oni Sprite as well.

“Although we might have gotten here much faster, and with less walking and effort as well, if Silver would’ve let us ride him to here!”
He watched as the Oni Sprite turned on his shoulder towards the dragon, and began ranting at Silver about several things at once. Silver turned his head towards the Oni Sprite, watching her for a few moments with a bemused look on his face, before he snorted loudly through his nostrils. The gust of air from the snort was enough to knock her off Rei’s shoulder, sending her spinning into the air. She soared back down onto Rei’s shoulder, gave a quick glance at Silver, sticking her tongue out at him, before turning her attention back to Rei again.

“Why are we here again?”
Rei sighed loudly when he heard the question, as he had told her several times already that day, despite the fact he knew she would ask again several minutes later.

“We’re here to meet up with some other people that also want to stop the pointless war between the two nations, with ways other then joining in the conflict. Please try to remember this time Demi.”
He’d come mainly in the hope that someone there would know the reason for the war, and thus have a solution on how to end it, though he knew the chances of that were slim. Failing that, Rei knew that he could achieve more working with a group, rather then on his own with Silver and Demi.

“Look! Someone else is here! Let’s go say hi!”
Rei watched as Demi jumped off his shoulders and glided over to the group, which he saw consisted of two people, and a dragon. Demi stopped in front of the group, hovering in the air, as Rei walked slwoly over to the group as well, Silver laying down on the ground a small distance away from them.

“Hi! I’m Demi, this is Rei, and the lazy anti social dragon over there is Silver! And who are you two?”

[COLOR="Navy"][FONT="Comic Sans MS"]Shoko looked from Emilio to Rei and back again, her thoughts comical as she looked at them.
'Nothing but men, this should be interesting if I'm the only woman.'
"Welcome, my name is Shoko, and compliments will get you no where Emilio."
She smiled as she saw him blink and then blinked her self as a large feathered wing draped over her shoulder.
"Forgeting people now are you?"
She shook her head and patted the wing gently.
"This is Talon and the dragon behind me is Drago. They are my partners and dearest friends."
"We were told that you are trying to stop the war?"
She looked at Rei and nodded, her face growing somber.
"That is correct, I'm from the East and none of our history records state the purpose for why the war ever began. I'm sure that the case is the same with the ones of you that are coming from the West. It's unreasonable."
She walked over to the stump and drew her sword; she heard the two new dragons flex their wings in case they were needed. She raised it above her head and drove it deep into the stump leaving her with no real suitible weapon for combat, a bow was good for long range but in a clearing this small it was of little use, and she only knew so much magic. She turned and drew an arrow and aimed at the back pat of the woods where she had come from, Drago turned to the others that were there.
"Hide your selves."
They listened hesitantly and watched from the cover of the dense forest behind her.
"Show your self, I heard you and I know you to be no friend or mine."
A young man, broad and tall came from the woods, a deadly red dragon following him.
"Char, Scorch, how nice of you to join me in this peaceful place."
"Your father asked me to find you Shoko, he was concerned and so was I."
"I am none of your concern considering that I wish to have nothing to do with you."
He walked up tp her and placed his hand under her chin only to have her jerk it away.
"You will leave me to my self Char or you will feel the bite of my blade."
He chuckled low in his throat and grabbed her arm dragging her towards Scorch and stoped as a spiked tail crashed down in his way. Drago stood on his back legs, claws and teeth showing and a dangerous growl coming from him. Talon was in a pouncing postion. Letting go of her he narrowed his eyes and motioned for his dragon to follow him as they left. A few minutes later the others came back out.
"This is why I want to stop the war, we grew up together and was nothing like that as a child, the war corrupts and destroys. I just want it to end."
She looked at the others as they nodded and agreed with her. [/FONT][/COLOR]

[Darks Anthro]

Wolfie bid Jessy good bye and left her a letter. As Wolfie climbed on Draco and flew off she opened the letter.

[COLOR="Purple"]"Dear Jessy,

This is a thing I must do to insure that we can live with peace. I might not return from my journy. I wish that you will wait for my return. If I am not back with in 3 years. I want you to marry some one that can make you happy. keep me in your heart and your memories. I shall do the same for you. I left you a key to my celler. In their is enough gold and other valuables I collected from the years with you. It should last for as long as you want. I love you, good Bye.
My Love,
Wolfie."[/COLOR]


She cries as Wolfie dissappears into the sky.

Draco: [COLOR="Red"]"Whats wrong Wolfie?"[/COLOR]

Wolfie: [COLOR="DarkRed"]"I know I might not return from this quest to end this war. I didn't want her to be alone after 3 years. I hope if I die, she finds a mice guy to protect her."[/COLOR]

Draco: [COLOR="Red"]"Its ok Wolfie. You will come back to her. Now we are coming up to the clearing as mentioned in the letter."[/COLOR]

Wolfie looked at the clearing to see 3 figures standing close to each other.

Wolfie: [COLOR="DarkRed"]"Looks like one female and two males, a Griffon, two dragons, and an Oni Sprite? Man I feel sorry for the guy stuck with one of those."[/COLOR]

Draco: [COLOR="Red"]"Why do you say that Wolfie?"[/COLOR]

Wolfie: [COLOR="DarkRed"]"Cause Oni Sprites are very annoying. Lets go meet them."[/COLOR]
Draco flys down to the group and Wolfie jumps off 20' above them and lands right in the middle.

Wolfie: [COLOR="DarkRed"]"Sorry if I startled you guys and Miss. My name is Wolfie. This is my life partner Draco."[/COLOR]

Draco looked at him and blushed a little: [COLOR="Red"]"Wolfie, I wish you stop saying that."[/COLOR]

Wolfie laughed and went straight to the female. Wolfie looks her over and her two companions.

Wolfie: [COLOR="DarkRed"]"So your Shoko, Its a pleasure to meet you Miss Shoko. Now I am sure you heard of me. Im from the west and was in the war a few years ago. I am sure you two also heard of me."[/COLOR]

Wolfie looks at everyone making sure no-one knew of him.

[COLOR="Navy"][FONT="Comic Sans MS"]Shoko lowered her bow from pointing in Wolfie's face and frowned.
"I have not heard of you, and if you value your life you will not startle me like that again because there will be an arrow in between your eyes."
She frowned even more as he smiled.
"Do not smile unless you mean it, it does not meet your eyes Wolfie."
He blinked as she walked past him and over to Talon where she patted his beak making his eyes close hopeing to herself that there would at least be one more girl besides her, even though she was raised amoung men she still liked the company of a girl every now and then. Not only that she wasn't sure if she could handle all the testoserone and egos. [/FONT][/COLOR]

[Starwind]

It was starting to turn into a regular sasuage fest here. Shoko was the only femine release he had now. To make it worse this new guy seemed like he was kinda full of himself. Miles flew out from the wood line and landed on Emilios' shoulder. Everyone turned and looked at the shimering blue bird. Miles scanned the group [COLOR="Blue"][B]"I still don't like this. Make sure they know I'm only here because I wouldn't let you do this alone."[/B][/COLOR]

Emilio began to laugh as the group simply looked back to him. It was easy for him to forget that most people couldn't hear, much less understand, Miles voice and words. Emilio composed himself [COLOR="Cyan"][B]"This one here is named Miles and he's like a brother to me. He just wanted me to let you know that he doesn't like any of you. Don't worry though. He doesn't like humans in general. I was very surprised he came at all."[/B][/COLOR]

The group just shot him an odd look as Den also crawled out from behind the trees as well. Den came up from behind Emilio and layed down beside and around him, showing that she had no faith in them either. The new guy, Wolfie, sounded up [B]"What's there problem? They act like were going to kill you."[/B]

Emilio just smiled some more [COLOR="cyan"][B]"Well, they think you might. They're my family and they don't trust humans very willingly. Like I said, they're only here because I said I was coming no matter what."[/B][/COLOR]

They all just kind of stared on as Emilio smiled and went about talking with Den and Miles. It was a rather odd kind of thing for the others to have to see, since they could only understand the parts between Den and Emilio.

[Astdis]

[COLOR="Indigo"]Kaiyi tilted her head back and took a deep longing breath of sea air. The meeting place was far from here, far from the water. She had made this place her home; it was on the farthest edge of the east away the front lines. And the water added to her feeling of safety. But in recent weeks, death had even touched this place, leaving no where safe. Kaiyi turned and walked to Dar who was twitching his wings impatiently.

[B][I]We’re late. You’ve drawn this out too long.[/I][/B]
[B]“I know.”[/B]
Rah looked up at Dar and then to Kaiyi [I]--You don’t actually expect me to ride on a Dragon.--[/I]
[B]“Yes actually.”[/B]

Rah blinked at her with a clearly you-can’t-be-serious expression cats were famous for. Kaiyi shrugged her shoulders and slipped off a leather bag with two arm straps and layed it on the ground at her feet. [B]“There’s a cushion in there and you’ll be perfectly secure, you have my word.”[/B] Rah’s expression shifted only slightly to you’ve-got-to-be-kidding as she begrudgingly stepped into the bag and Kaiyi strapped it across her back.

Dar lowered his neck and extended a foot so Kaiyi could climb up onto his back. It was a slippery and dangerous decision, but they needed to make up precious time and this was the best way to accomplish that. Tossing the ponytail that reached to her knees over her shoulder, Kaiyi wrapped her hands into Dar’s scales and braced herself…

As they skimmed over the trees and broke into the clearing, Kaiyi saw an intriguing group gathered. They all looked up as Dar dove over them and landed just beyond. As Kaiyi was climbing down, she noticed a couple young men jogging over to assist her. They extended their hands which she accepted and jumped lightly to the ground. She tucked a stray hair behind her ear and nodded to each of them.

[B]“Much thanks. I’m Kaiyi.”[/B]
The one on her left bowed his head slightly [B]“I’m called Wolfie. Welcome”[/B] his voice sounded warm but his face was serious and distant and he wasn’t much taller than she was. The one to her right, who was still holding her hand, bent and kissed it lightly, keeping eye contact [B]“Emilio, please, join us.” [/B]Kaiyi smiled though she was appraising him. [I]Less genuine than the first man and defiantly more forward. And he was still holding her hand.[/I]

With a loud growl, Rah launched herself from Kaiyi’s bag in Emilio’s general direction. He jumped back in surprise and then smiled.
[B]“Ah, a cat. Beautiful creature”[/B]Kaiyi smirked as they walked toward the rest of the group
[B]“Yes, she is.”[/B][/COLOR]

[Lilt]

[FONT=Book Antiqua][COLOR=Indigo]Daly walked out of the river. It was a little on the cold side, but very refreshing. After her bath, she applied the costume of a dragon rider to her nude body. After she had finished with the paint and the scales, she walked over to where Varick was sleeping. She put a hand on her and Varick awoke.
[B][COLOR=Navy]"Are you ready to go, young one?"[/COLOR][/B][COLOR=Navy] [COLOR=Indigo]Varick asked.
Daly nodded.
"Yes, I am. Let's go."
Daly climbed up onto Varick's back. Her scales felt a little strange on Daly's skin, but she didn't use a saddle like the other dragon riders before her.

Soon, Daly had found the clearing where the message had asked her to meet. Like the others that she saw down there, they supposedly wanted to find out what this war was about and ended it. Daly asked Varick to land, and then she slid off of her dragon friend.
"Hello everyone." Daly said. They all seemed a little surprised at her dragon-like appearance.
[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR][/FONT]

[Zero Sephiroth]

Rei glanced at all of those that had arrived now, including the new female who was dressed like a dragon, before sighing loudly and turning his back on the group, walking back over to Silver, who was starring uneasily at the other dragons. He slipped his gauntlets and greaves off as he reached the dragon and lay them at his side. He sat down, leaning his back against the side of the dragon, and ignored the looks he was getting from the rest of the group and their comments about him, as Rei began checking his weapons over.

?Um?you?ll have to excuse Rei?s behaviour?he?s not very comfortable being in, or around, a group of people. Don?t take it the wrong way, he doesn?t hate any of you at all! In fact, he really likes you all a lot, if he can stay around you for a few minutes before moving away from the group to be by himself!?
Demi began laughing weakly as she scratched the back of her head, as the group turned their attention towards her, still floating in the air in front of them as her wings flapped rapidly to hold her steady.

?So...How many more people are we waiting for?"

[COLOR="Navy"][FONT="Comic Sans MS"]Shoko looked around and nodded seeing everyone that she remembered getting notices from.
"I think everyone is here, since that's the case everyone, see the stump over there. Put your weapons over there, stick your swords into the stump as you see mine."
They did as she told them and then had them stand with her.
"Okay, well we all know why we're here but heres my question do any of you have any clue as to why this is all happening?"
"What do you mean by that?"
She looked at Emilio and sighed.
"Are there any records in any of your liberarys that state why this war even started?"
She watched as they looked between each other, all shaking their heads.
"I didn't think so, our first thing to do on our list is to find out why that bit of information is gone. Something isn't right about that, I don't know about the west but n the east the history files are not allowed out of the liberary and if you look at them your moniterd. So I know that there is foul play in that"
"How do we know that your not just saying things?"
She looked at Rei.
"You just said your self that you don't have any record of the begining in your liberary, and that its secured, you tell me how else it could have happened."
She crossed her arms and waited for a response.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[Darks Anthro]

Wolfie: [COLOR="DarkRed"]"So, you havn't heard of me. Thats good, I don't need my past haunting me again. Now that all people are here and with you stating that no word on how the begining of this war not in any library. I agree with Shoko. I joined this quest to protect someone I love, I want peace for her and nothing else. I'm willing to offer my life to end this war."[/COLOR]

Wolfie turned away from everyone and walked towards the woods. Draco rose up and walked to Wolfie.

Draco: [COLOR="Red"]"Whats wrong Wolfie? You seem upset with what you said in that letter ever since we left home."[/COLOR]

Wolfie: [COLOR="DarkRed"]"You see that woman over their dreesed like a dragon?"[/COLOR]

Draco: [COLOR="Red"]"Yes, I see her. What about her?"[/COLOR]

Wolfie: [COLOR="DarkRed"]"Her people where slaughtered by me. I'm supprised she didn't recongised me. remembering that, it brings my past to mind. I don't want my past taking over me again. Lets return to the group."[/COLOR]

Draco: [COLOR="Red"]"I'm sorry for your pain. That was the past. You have made remarkable progress since we meet. I am proud to be your friend."[/COLOR]

Wolfie smilled at Draco then started walking back to the group. He went straight for Daly and kneiled at her feet.

Wolfie: [COLOR="DarkRed"]"Daly, I doubt you recogninse me but I have killed your people when I was in the war. I know you won't forgive me for my crimes. Please I ask you to forgive me while we travel together to end this war. After we accomplish this, You may kill me if you wish."[/COLOR]

Everyone looked at Wolfie in a confused look. Wolfie looked up to Daly and waited for a response, a look, anything for an answer.

[Zero Sephiroth]

???Ok. I don?t know how it could have happened. Please continue.?

Rei looked down at the ground, as he began to think about what she had said. It was true, that it was unusual on how there was no or very little history recorded anywhere. He?d been hoping that the east had contained records, and that someone there would have read them at least once, but that turned out to be another dead end.

?Pst. Hey Rei.?
Rei glanced at Demi, who?d flown back over to him and had sat herself back down on Rei?s shoulder. He began wondering what she was whispering to him for, if it was important enough for her to whisper rather then shout.

?What is it Demi??
Demi spun around on his shoulder, and pointed towards a pair of people, one of whom was kneeling on the ground before the other, talking about some kind of incident the two had been in, as Demi leaned closer towards Rei?s ear.

?What are they talking about??
?To be honest I have no idea?though it looks like the guy on the ground is apologising for something he?s done.?

Rei and Demi carried on examining the two of them, wondering what they were talking about whilst they waited to see the reaction of the woman.

[COLOR="Indigo"]Kaiyi was lost in thought. She had never been to the libraries, but something was nagging at her[I]…history…writings…writings![/I]

[B]“Actually, there may be something written, outside the libraries.”[/B]

Everyone turned and looked at her [B]“I… I don’t know for certain. But my grandmother was very deep into ancient eastern culture. She had this rosewood box with carvings on it, always locked. Once, when I was about 12, I went to bring her tea and she had fallen asleep with the box open beside her. I saw writings on animal skin, stained with age and some kind of official seal, but I didn’t get a chance to read them before she stirred. The box is no longer with her though. I don’t know what she did with it, but it disappeared a week before my father was killed on the main road returning from the capital city. That’s all I know.”[/B]

Shoko looked at her thoughtfully for a moment, then turned to the group. [B]“If something does exist outside the guards of our governments, we stand a slightly better chance of getting it. We’ve all come here for different reasons to the same end. If Daly accepts Wolfie’s request for forgiveness, and if you all really do want the truth, I say we go get it.”[/B][/COLOR]

[Starwind]

This was all really rather fascinating to Emilio, but thruth be told, he had no real reason to be here. He didn't care about the war and didn't really want to be in anyway a part of it. He was still trying to figure out why he had even come in the first place. He thought maybe because he was looking for a good time, but the longer he sat around the more bored he was becoming, so that wasn't it. Sure it was interesting to think about, but it didn't sound like it was gonna be fun. As he drew off into these thoughts he felt a whack on the back of his head for one of Miles blue feathery wings [B][COLOR="Blue"]"Pay attention. I don't care if your bored. You brought us here, so the least you could do is focus on something other then women!"[/COLOR][/B]

Miles didn't appreciate his lack of focus, while Den had long since lost interest and had gone to sleep. All Emilio had really managed to get a grasp on was that this Wolfie guy had killed the painted chicks people. How that was relevant to the situation was beyond Emilio, but he was willing to role with it anyway. Miles kept throwing in his two cents, saying [B][COLOR="blue"]"How barbaric these humans are. Slaughtering each other for some false good or out of pure malice. I don't see a reason to trust any of them."[/COLOR][/B]

Miles was awfully long winded, but this wasn't anything he hadn't gone on about before. Everytime they stopped in a town, Miles could go on for hours about the dregs of human society. It was funny at first, but was now starting to grow tiresome. Emilio simply looked over to Miles[COLOR="Cyan"] [B]"Humans are a bit complex, I'm afraid. They do terrible things, true. But were obviously not all bad."[/B][/COLOR]

Miles looked away again [B][COLOR="cyan"]"Well anyway, this situation has nothing to do with us. Let's just see what happens. Maybe we'll get the chance to see a new side of the human soul."[/COLOR][/B]

And with that, they both fell silent.

[Lilt]

[COLOR=Indigo][FONT=Book Antiqua]Daly clutched her fists and thought of something to say, but she was so angry and sad at the same time. She did not reply to the man's news, but stormed off.
[COLOR=Navy]"Daly, come back! Where are you going?" [COLOR=Indigo]Varick called after her.
However, Daly didn't answer. She had no idea where she was going.
For now, she wanted to get the symbol of the dragon riders off for some reason. Maybe because it reminded her too much of her people right now.
She found a small lake and scrubbed off all the paint vigorously. Then she removed the dragon scales from her feet, her arms, her breasts, and her inner thighs. When she had all of it off of her nude body, she walked out of the lake and back to the meeting area. She stood there, dripping wet and now not obscured with the paint and the scales. She looked at the man and held out her hand. He took it and shook it.
"As angry as I am, I will fight with you for now. However, I do not know what will happen when this journey is over. That is your only warning."
Daly crossed her arms under her breasts angrily, and waited and listened to hear what everyone else had to say.

[COLOR="Navy"][FONT="Comic Sans MS"]shoko piched the bridge of her nose tightly and looked at Kaiyi.
"Do you remember exactly how to get there?"
The girl nodded.
"Alright, you head out with Rei and Daly; Emilio Wolfie and My self will follow shortly."
"How will you know where to find us?"
"Drago, he will fly with you and let me know where to go, travel half way there, if you run into danger, try your best to run and not fight, we're trieing to end the war, not add to it. Once we meet up with you there we'll all go together."
They nodded and retrieved their weapons from the stump that they had all placed them when Dargo let out a deep growl.
"Drago, nimni ryok?"
They all frowned as he turned and muttered something in the strange tounge back to her.
"I'll explain later, right now you have to go, Emilio, Wolfie, wait for me just beyond the trees, I'll be there momentairly."
"What's going on?"
Shoko cursed as a large shadow fell on the clearing, Drago lifted his head and let out a jet of pure blue flame.
"Scorch!"
"Son of a bitch, everyone, move now!"
Char walked from the woods and into the clearing, his weapon in hand and a blood thristy look in his eyes.
"There are dogs from the east here aren't there Shoko? Will you let me taste their blood?"
Shoko grabbed her sword and looked over at Emilio and Wolfie.
"Get moving, I'll keep him busy."
Emilio smirked sarcasticly.
"How? Being his puppet? He's four times your size."
As Char rushed for Emilio she grabbed his arm and swung him around and into the ground.
"I said go."
Drago was above her keeping Char's dragon busy, Talon roared behind her and she doged to the side grabbing Char and punching him hard in the jaw. He fell onto his back sprawled out and breathing heavily, Talon walked up to him.
"Lets end him here and now Shoko, end his never ending torment of you."
Shoko covered the unconsious mans body with her own and groaned as the Griffin's large claw dug into her shoulder.
"Shoko!?"
"I told you Talon, no more killing, there has been enough, even if he is corrupted by this war and knows nothing but killing that does not mean we have the right to kill him. Do you understand?"
"No I never have, lets go, there is no time for us to split up, we must all go now."
She nodded and climbed up behind one of his feathered wings and got comfortable, Talon looked back at her, his eyes sympathetic.
"One of these days, your going to get your self killed if you don't learn to draw blood."
"There is always a way to save everyone Talon, you know I believe that."
He nodded and took flight meeting the others in the air as Kaiyi began to lead them to what they hoped was their first clue.[/FONT][/COLOR]

Rei sighed loudly as he stood on the back of Silver, feeling the wind brush gently against his face as they soared through the sky, with them hanging towards the back of the group. He looked down at his shoulder, and at Demi who was sat atop it, and chuckled as he realised she was clutching tightly onto his jacket while she looked down at the ground below, her eyes wide and her face looking slightly pale.

?What?s wrong Demi? Don?t tell me you?re scared of heights, when you can fly.?
?No?I?m not scared?of anything! I just don?t want to get blown off here and left behind in the sky, because I couldn?t catch up...?

He glanced at her for a few moments, concern in his eyes, before turning to examine Silver, who kept looking back at the clearing they had been in, a look in his eyes when he stared at those that had attacked them, that made Rei feel uneasy and anxious.

?Hey Rei?something I?ve just noticed??
He twisted his head back towards Demi, who had stopped looking at the ground and was now watching everyone else around them, looking a little better now. His thoughts form before disappearing, as he dismissed them as nothing more then paranoid thoughts.

?Since that girl came back, you haven?t glanced at her once, except for when she left suddenly in a mood and came back, which is when you went bright red! Why is that??
?It?s?um?complicated?you wouldn?t understand.?

He nodded his head down, trying to keep himself from looking at the rest of the group as they carried on through the air.

Wolfie takes her hand and shakes it.A bit supprised that she was completly nude.

Woflie: [COLOR="DarkRed"]"Thank you Miss Daly. I'll heed your warning in the fututre, but for now please take some of my extra clothing and cover yourself."[/COLOR]

Wolfie takes some extra cloths out of his bag and gives them to Daly then turns around towards Draco with a satisfied look on his face. Wolfie passes Draco and she puts her wing in front of him.

Draco: [COLOR="Pink"]"Whats with the look on you face for?"[/COLOR]

Wolfie: [COLOR="DarkRed"]"She forgave me for now, hopefully by the time we end this war. I will be completly forgiven for what I did to her people. Thats more than I thought she would do. I thought she would kill me on the spot."[/COLOR]

Draco: [COLOR="Pink"]"Ah, so thats why that looks on your face. You sure its not because she was completly nude when she forgave you?"[/COLOR]

Wolfie didn't answer that one. He was bright red. When Wolfie turned to Shoko to agree with her, someone attacked and with in seconds Rei was on the ground and the attacker was knocked unconsience.
Wolfie then jumped on Draco and flew up to Drago and started to help keep this dragon away from the others.

Wolfie:[COLOR="DarkRed"]"Hurry! Get your items in quick haste! We can't old them off for long with out futher injury."[/COLOR]

Wolfie told Draco to try to force the attacking dragon to land so he could make it go to sleep. Wolfie then pulls out a ville of liquid then jumps off to the ground.

Wolfie: [COLOR="DarkRed"]"Shoko tell Drago to force it to land. I'm going to make it go to sleep. then we can get the hell out of here!"[/COLOR]

[Lilt]

[FONT=Book Antiqua][COLOR=Indigo]As they were flying away, suddenly Daly was hit by a ball of fire. It knocked her off of Varick's back and she fell towards the ground as the burnt clothes that the man had given her flew off of her.
[COLOR=Navy]"No, Daly!"[/COLOR] Varick yelled out and flew after her. She finally reached Daly and maneuvered so that she fell on her back. Daly was out cold. Varick wasn't sure, but it seemed that her burns were not very bad at all. Varick tried to maneuver away from the fighting until she could get Daly to a safe place.

Soon, thanks to the rushing of the air around her, Daly awoke. Her skin was a bit black from the fire. Her front at least. But after checking, it was mostly just soot. She didn't really have any burns anywhere except on one of her breasts and a little above her crotch. She took out some medicine from her bag and put it all over her body just to be safe. She gripped Varick and let her know that she would be okay.

[Akieen Cloud]

[COLOR="Navy"][FONT="Comic Sans MS"]Shoko growled as Wolfie yelled at her to get scorch on the ground.
"I said to get out of here damnit! Char isn't going to be down for long and once he wakes up and gets on to scorch we're all in trouble! Now go damnit! Follow Kaiyi!"
He blinked as Talon swooped around and hovered in the air as Drago and scorch twisted in the air, he screeched as Scorch bit down on Drago's tail.
"Talon, get me in there."
Manuvering Talon wove in and out of he fighting dragons till he flipped and had her land on his back. She took a deep breath and put her hands on Drago's head.
"Let's do this."
He nodded and closed his eyes dving for the ground, she could hear the scream and protests of the others but ignored them.
"Now!"
She opened her eyes at the same time Drago did and smiled as she could see what he was seeing.
"Alright, veer left and flank him, he's heading for where Daly fell."
He nodded and folded his wings down increasing his speed til they tackled scorch to the ground, the whole time they wretled she hung on tightly. Drago lifted one of his clawed feet and slamed it down onto scroches head knocking him out. She blinked and smiled as she had her own sight back.
"Daly, let's get out of here, we don't have the time to be split up anymore."
She nodded and took off on her own dragon, Drago and Shoko following close behind.
"Are you alight?"
"I am fine, thank you."
"Okay, if you need anything let me know, I know this land pretty well."
Drago titled his head to the side so he could see her as the others joined them one by one.
"You should know this land, your father owns it Shoko."
"Drago! I told you never to speak of that!"
Rei looked at her in disbelife.
"Your the princess of this land?"
"It's nothing to talk about. I disowned that life a long time ago."
She had her face set and was looking straight ahead as Talon soared beside her.
"Kaiyi, we'll follow you from here to night fall, then we'll find a spot to rest for the night and head back out at sun rise."
She looked at Wolfe.
"I understand we'll be helping each other, but I know these troops, I know what they and their dragons can do. If I tell you to run, you better fucking run. You got that?"
He blinked at her.

Wolfie: [COLOR="DarkRed"]"Obviously you haven't heard of me. I will tell you another time when we are safe. For now I agree on you. We must run. But don't mistake me for a common soldier from the west. Varick, is daly alright? No burns or internal injuries?"[/COLOR]

Varick: [COLOR="Blue"]"No, no injuries to her but I might sugest rest."[/COLOR]


Woflie nodded to Varick then flies up to Shoko.

Wolfie: [COLOR="DarkRed"]"Shoko when we land, we need to talk in privit. Its a matter between us and the others need not know."[/COLOR]

Wolfie blinked once again at her then flies to the back of the group to make sure no one flanks them again.

[COLOR="Indigo"]Kaiyi nodded to Shoko, then turned to the others.
[B]“Once we cross the clearing, we must land and go on foot into the woods.”[/B]
[B]“Why?”[/B] Emilio asked, rather flippantly.
Kaiyi sighed.[B] “Because, for one thing we make much harder targets on the ground. For a second, we’ll need to follow the river through the woods and it’s hard to trace from the air. Also the river is safer than the main road, faster too.”[/B]She turned and scratched Rah behind the ears [B]“Go see if you can heal Daly. Also mention to her I have some extra clothes if she had need of them.” [/B]Rah gave an indistinct nod and ran back to where Daly was recovering.

They reached the woods without much event. When they dismounted, Kaiyi Reached deep into the small bag, deeper then she should have been able, and pulled out a shirt and pants, tossing them to Daly. Daly caught them looking at her oddly.

Kaiyi shrugged and lead them into the woods. Rei walked up to her. [B]“Nice trick”[/B]

This is all happening a little fast for old Emilio. Though it was hard to dispute the fact that it was all really fun for him. Everyone seemed to be unique in there own way. Wolfie seemed a little full of himself, but who knows, maybe he can back up his boasting. Shoko seems addiment to help save as many lives as she could, no matter what. Maybe it was a whimsical idea, but it was also kind of endearing in a way. Daly seemed like she didn't care much for clothes and Kaiyi seemed to be just full of little surprises. He still couldn't get much of a reading off of Rei yet, which was kinda throwing him off.

Miles and Den had long since taken refugee apart from the group. They weren't nearby, but Emilio could still sense there presense. The lush outdoor forest felt much more like home then the open road or any other city he had ever been through. Keeping this in mind, he still wasn't sure why he cared whether the war ended or not. He slowly walked along the banks of the river listening to the sounds of nature and his new comrades ramble on. Emilio turned to them [B][COLOR="Cyan"]"Why do you think they all started fighting to begin with?"[/COLOR][/B]

Shoko replied first [COLOR="darkslateblue"][B]"That's what were trying to find out."[/B][/COLOR]

She sounded a bit irritated at his question. Emilio just kinda tilted his head [B][COLOR="Cyan"]"If no one knows why they're fighting then why do they keep doing it?[/COLOR][/B]

Shoko seemed a bit upset at the comment, but didn't bother respond. Kaiyi sounded up this time [B][COLOR="Purple"]"They just keep fighting because that's how they were taught. They've been fighting for so long that it's all they know."[/COLOR][/B]

Emilio turned around and let out a deep sigh [B][COLOR="Cyan"]"What goes through the human mind? Teaching hate like that. I maybe human in form, but neither I nor my family count myself among you."[/COLOR][/B]

Wolfie barked at him [B][COLOR="Sienna"]"What do you mean your family doesn't consider you human?"[/COLOR][/B]

Emilio turned his head to look back [COLOR="Cyan"]"I mean my dragon, Den and Miles the pheonix. They are my family. And the only one I've ever had or ever wanted. You humans are quick to fight and quick to hate. I'm amazed the race hasn't driven itslef to extinction yet."[/COLOR]

The group went silent, though Emilio could sense that none were pleased with what he had to say.

Yes, humans as a whole are destructive and narrow minded, but the individual may not be.?[/B] Kaiyi looked at the people in the group before continuing. [B]?This group, is proof of that. And we?re not the only ones.?[/B][/COLOR]
[COLOR=indigo]Emilio stared at her for a moment. She hoped he was listening and not just checking her out. [/COLOR]
[COLOR=indigo][B]?Well, maybe I can learn something from this group and my joining won?t be a total waste of time.? [/B]His tone was casual, but there was a spark of interest behind it.[/COLOR]
