TK Trooping

I have never done this myself, but I have seen this phenomena before. My expression towards it was much like those of the small children you have pictured above. I don't know what started this trend, but I support it 100%. It's always entertaining to see. The most I ever do is sometimes I go around in my ACUs and see how many handshakes and thank yous I can get. It's actually kinda fun.

[FONT="Franklin Gothic Medium"]There is always a a funny reception for Storm Troopers wherever they go. There was a guy who did that around halloween at our school. Him and Darth Vader showed up and he was going around going "Hey, how's it goin?" to everyone. Sadly, Vader didn't say anything, but then again, he looked kind of lanky from the Lord Vader I remember....

Kudos to you though. I like seeing that kind of thing. Make sure you record some video next time for us, so we can see people's reactions in real time. That would be absolutely priceless. [/FONT]

I love the pictures! The kids look totally amused by seeing a Storm Trooper at Wal-Mart. :animesmil I really want to go to Dragon-con to see the big costume parade and the huge Star Wars gathering. I've seen pictures but never seen it in person. It looks like it would be so much fun. I really need to get involved in SW costuming...

Below are some pictures from today.[/SIZE][/QUOTE]I don't dress up myself, nor do any of my friends, however there is a group called the Alpine Garrison that is affiliated with the 501st Legion of Imperial Stomrtroopers in my area. They often dress up and do toys for tots around Christmas as well as taking part in a light parade north of where I live. I didn't go this year to check it out, but I have in the past.

It's fun to see, especially all the little kids who's reactions are much like the kids in the picture you posted. Heh. Anyway, definitely film it next time if you can. I know I'd enjoy seeing that as much as I did the pictures.
