Nah... I find myself playing more PSX games than Playstation2. Also for the reason Kuj... Felix said, I'm also looking forward to Hoshigami and Arc the Lad collection, and Megaman X 6, and the only game I'm really looking forward to right now for the PS2 is FF10.

I still have my PSX and it's still a very enjoyable console to play with all the great RPGs Felix mention.Theres many great games of all type of generes fighting,racing,sport,puzzles,action,etc. to play.

And even my favorite series is on PSX the Megaman X series I don't know why it still has similar gameplay and yet I still buy the up coming sequel of each game.:)

The PsX is sorta dead now...but not...they're still making games for it without doubt...but not really for the mainstream gamers...developers are concentrating on games for kids and pretty basic games made by entry-level developers. The only games that I play on my PSone now are the DDR series...

amen to that :) heh, I still play ddr, I never tire of that game, probably because I haven't reached my goal of getting an S rank on afronova, dead end, and paranoia rebirth, on expert difficulty....

I still play my ps for its cool rpg's, and tekken 3, of course, I like it more than tag....

1)The system can fit a family of 4 comfortably.

I don't think the PSX is dead, DEFINATLY not... I don't have any PS2 games for my PS2 yet... lol... all my games are for the PSX. THPS1, Tekken 3, FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX... they're my games :D The PSX won't die out for a long time. It's a world renouned system that has many (more like millions) of games for every single genre of gamer. [/SIZE]

Well in a case yes, it has lost some of its hype, but then again, it didnt, because it has great games on it. But why not just buy a PS2 and be able to use both PsX and PS2? Bah! Thats what i would do, if i didnt buy Xbox.

No dude, it isn't Nintendo who made THPS and Resident Evil, it's the brands I think..... The brands (erm..... Midway? Acclaim?) wanted to put them on both systems....... I think, not too sure on this one..... :toothy:

PSX is in no way "Dead." The playstation Company is making sure that it stays up, which is a great idea in my opinion to keep the company alive. PSX games are coming out every month, continuely, when a lot of other companies hav stopped making games for their previous system. This is a good thing if you hav psx and not ps2, so you still hav more games to look forward to, even if it is not as good as a ps2 version. This brings me to say, in my opinion, that the ps2 games are the greatest out of the system choices you gave us. I believe that the games mostly hav great story lines and are extremly fun to play. Although there are games on other systems that are way better, all-in-all, the ps2 ones are better.
