Online Moms

I was just wondering if there are any other moms on this site as well and how they juggle things like internet and cooking and so on.[/FONT][/COLOR]

In my case, there is nothing to work around. I have three children, but only one lives at home. And she is old enough that most if not all of what needs to be done, she does it herself. Back when there might have been an issue, we didn't really use the Internet for anything at all, so making time never came up.

Obviously I'm not a mom. But I would like to say, and this goes out to any other Otaku mom, that I'm very proud that you takethe time to do something you love. Not saying that all you do its take care of your kids and post on Otaku. But obviously that's the only one I know of.

Since that's the only thing I know of, I'd like to hear what else you Otaku moms are passionate about and how often you get to do them. Once again, though I'm grown and out of my nest I remember how my mom never took the time for herself and it eventually became the death of her. Unfortunatelly I took that from her so I'm scared to death, so I do challenge you to take whatever it is you're passionate about and make it a daily/weekly/monthly routine. (obviously depending on what it is). So thank you to all the moms out there.

well, i'm not a mom....but MY mom...is an otaku.....and we go to conventios together...we cosplay together......................it's so awesome..our first cosplay....i was rini and she was bunny from sailor moon

That would pretty much be kind of awkward.

As for the online time thing, I imagine it would be pretty hard to juggle anyone under the age of 10 (and over in some cases) with it. It's important to relax under any kind of stress, though. If internet is how you do your relaxing, more power to ya!
