What do you mean "cat member"? By the way, 8bit, not all dogs shed and slobber. A good example is a Bichon Frise. They don't shed, I don't think they slobber and they are hypoallergenic.(did I spell that right?) SunfallE
Don't let these guys being mischievous fool you chibi-master, Naps was nothing more than a prank being pulled by some members who were bored and had nothing better to do than troll the boards. :p The article fails to mention that they were having fun also trolling staff by sending pm's with nothing but variations of the word meow in it. In other words, pointless spam really. Now as for pets, I prefer dogs. I grew up with St. Bernard's but I grew tired of larger breeds since they're a lot of work. Believe me, as someone who knows how to properly wash dry and groom them... it's a hassle. I've grown fond of smaller mid-sized dogs, especially ones that don't shed and are not hyper. Small are okay, but they can't slaughter robbers. Large breeds are too high maintenance. Hey...is a raccoon small or medium...

I wasn't the mastermind behind Naps. I'm only that clever on paper. Besides, I agree with 8bit. How do you know Naps wasn't just using his native tongue to inform you that either there was a (non-feline) troll on the loose or he wanted Dagger to extend his username to Napoleon? Explain that away, Beth! Now that that's out of the way:

They do require a lot more grooming care since their fur mats easily if not brushed and kept trim and clean. But the lack of shedding makes it well worth the time.
