Lady Aura
I'm on summer break, so I usually wake up around noon. So, whatever I eat is lunch and breakfast combined. If we have any, I'll eat Cheerios just because I like to cut a side and make them into the letter C. I enjoy playing with my food. But, if I'm too lazy to make myself food, I'll have my little brother make me french toast. He makes amazing french toast, which is sad because he's three years younger than I, and I can barely cook ramen without hurting myself or making it the wrong way.
Roxie Faye
I have cereal every weekday morning. At home, it's frosted cheerios with 2% (or sometimes 1%) milk. Oddly enough, I cannot have milk from any country other than the US, though cheese and ice cream is okay wherever. (And since I like routine, found that one out the hard way in two different countries. ><; Learned my lesson on the third one. Dried Muesli it was for a week in London.) On the weekends, I like to have a toasted bagel, one side with cream cheese, one side with butter. Just sliced vertically. (I don't like cutting it into quarters for that "sandwich" effect. It's not as enjoyable.) I also like waffles on the weekend. And I like eggs, too, but I'm too lazy to make them, so I only get them when my mother's around and not too busy. XD The only deviation from this is at school when I have class at 9:45. Because I sleep late then, I run to the dining hall to grab a muffin and banana, and head to class.
Ravenstorture
Here is how to make a Chookie Egg: - Butter four pieces of bread heavily - Season with salt and pepper - Put them in a mug or soup mug and mix vigorously with a spoon to cut them up into chunks. (my mother calls this 'mongrelling') Now, you can either VERY SOFTLY boil two eggs and scrape into the mug and mix them up, this is the optimal way, as you get chunks of cooked egg in there too.. ..or if you don't have time.. The 'french toast' option: crack two raw eggs in and stir, then microwave for twenty seconds at a time until the egg is no longer raw, but still runny. Dry egg = bad chookie egg! Then, nom nom nom nom nom.

ChibiHorsewoman
I eat coffee. Lots and lots of coffee - slices of coffee. There is no such thing as too little coffee.
Rose is that you??? Sorry a resident yesturday told me that her coffee took priority over me vaccuuming up a mess on a carpet. I do agree that coffee is a very important part of my day- if my day starts anywhere before 9AM or if I have to pull a double. Which reminds me after this post I'm leaving to buy some coffee because I have to work from 3PM-7AM. But anyways without coffee life just has no meaning. Usually breakfast depends on me- if I'm hungry and lazy I'll have cereal or a toaster waffle. If I'm working the day shift at work I eat whatever the cook prepared for the residents and staff (Last Saturday he made omlets and bacon) If my daughter is up and in a good mood I make her 'cakecakes' because she can't say pancakes yet. Sometimes I do tend to skip breakfast- but that's only if I slept through the morning- like today prepping for my double I woke up dropped my daughter off at daycare then came back home and slept til noon.
The13thMan
I usually skip breakfast. But this is mainly because i wake up 20 minutes before class and just don't have time for breakfast. I've tried getting up earlier, it just doesn't work. Breakfast isn't enough motivation. Breakfast in the evening time, on the other hand, is pretty great. Actually, i'd say i prefer breakfast in the evening. Then your apetite is at its maximum and breakfast food is good food. I do not drink coffee. I don't like it at all. It makes me uneasy. If i'm ever tired and drink coffee i never feel more energetic. I just go a period of time feeling slightly uneasy then i'm tired again. Crap, i must be drinking the coffee wrong.
Lunar
it depends on how i slept the previous night. if i slept well, i may make myself a breakfast of cereal or oatmeal. if i didn't, i would eat leftovers from the day before.

Sugar and flavoured creamer- preferably Irish Cream or Hazel Nut. Any other way and you are drinking it wrong. I never really got into drinking coffee until I got into health care- actually I remember exactly when I started- it was two years ago when I was jumping between working nights at the airport then my two week course for being an HHA- I needed something to get me going and found coffee. I also got offered it a lot when I worked in Home Care- one lady's husband used to make French Press every morning :catgirl: That was good. Off topic sometimes if we have it in the house I'll eat a pulled pork sandwhich for breakfast or jasmine rice with honey when I have the time and patience.

Guest dragonmike
I have cereal for breakfast, or pop tarts. Nearly any flavor of pop tarts. I like to eat Lucky Charms, anything with chocolate in it, mini-wheats, cap'n crunch, the stuff my mom wouldn't buy us when I was kid, because it wasn't "good for my insides." I do enjoy a waffle or some IHOP pancakes from time to time. I LOVE waffles.

Anyway, what I like to have for breakfast is oatmeal. The instant kind with apple and cinnamon when I'm working and the other kind when I'm not. If I have time I like to add apple slices and cinnamon to it instead of the pre-packaged instant flavor. Sometimes I'll have toast along with bacon and eggs. On rare occasions I'll even have cold cereal. Not very often, I prefer the hot kind since most cold cereal is like having air with milk mixed in. No staying power, I find myself hungry again in no time.
