jigglyness
Wow I really love your traditional works. I don't see a lot of people post them up. I love charcoal. I especially like the hand studies. For the pastel of the girl, there's something a little off on her face. I can't point out what. But I like the blending of colors. It's very nice. I love your vector pieces too. Especially the one of your girlfriend.
Jeremy
Why thank you jigglyness. : ] What you see in the portrait of the girl I think I also see, the slight disarrangement of her facial features that's oh so slight. Some of these pieces were for high school art class, a few were for my freshman drawing class in college, and then all of the digital pieces were just for fun really. Keep the comments coming hehe ;)
eleanor
Yeah, don't ask me to explain myself, but my favorite is the "Scarf on Brick still life (ink)". I love it! It's just so clean and wonderful. :) I'm really impressed with your charcoal stuff, all of it's awesome! I can't even offer real critique, other than I think you're just really close to getting to that "next stage". Especially with the hands, clearly you're good at what you do, but with more practice they can become more fluid and realistic. Hope you post more!
Treble
Thought I pop in here and praise your hand study drawing. I love what you did with all the white lines on the hands. It really brings out the drawing by allowing one to feel the surface of the hand. Very nice. ;) Love all the other art works as well. *saves them into his art inspiration folder*

Doublehex
You know, if I really, really, wanted to, I could probably find some way to criticize your work. But, not am I too lazy to do so, but I wouldn't want to do so anyways. Jeremy, this gallery is astounding. Great stuff all around.
SaiyanPrincessX
Great artwort. I think my favorite are the hands, and like Treble said, I like what you did with the white lines aswell. The detail is so precise and realistic, its beautiful. So what is/was your major exactly?
Jeremy
Thanks, and my major is graphic design. I'm a sophomore in college.
Lunar
I like the ones in charcoal because, well they are different from the stuff I've done in art class, and they are flawless. I also like the one of your girlfriend, the colors are cool. Do you draw manga as well?
Carbon Series
I know this is from a while back but i was struggling to find something I was interested in so im afraid thats that. Firstly, im drawn to the hands and the vector of your girlfriend. The hands, well what can you say, they're spot on. Right down to the subtle shading to the way you've realistically picked out the contours of the palms. The highlights and direction of the light give it a lot of depth as well, even if it is just a drawing of some hands :P The vector i really like, i like the colours and love the angle. Very nice and clean but my only gripe, and it may just be me, is that her right eye, although i see what you were going for, is in my opinion a little too dark. I would lighten the iris slightly, but yeah, thats just me.
Jeremy
thanks for the feedback. I get a lot of people saying I should lighten/darken the eye, but the fact is, the bright light that shone on her face caused her eyes to look like that, so because of the lighting it will remain as is. But I can understand your thinking. Thanks again!
AngryBarista
but the fact is, the bright light that shone on her face caused her eyes to look like that, so because of the lighting it will remain as is.
First off I'll ask if you did the vector portraits in Illustrator; if you do there is one way i know of that you can edit colours of individual blocks of colour. That is to go to Object>Flatten Transparency, and slide the Raster/Vector Balance in the top right corner to 'vectors', or type in 100 in the number box. This should separate all the colour blocks for individual editing. Alternatively if you have Photoshop you can play with the brightness/contrast after selecting her eye, but I'm sure you'd thought of that and decided it didn't look as good that way. All that aside, you have some amazing work right here. My fave is probably the first tshirt design, with the 'Eve' representation. I really cannot wait to see more of your work.
