Expect the RPG up in a few hours. This thread will also be used to compile detailed information about the characters and history once the story begins.

Everyone should use this opportunity to introduce their characters into the story. Coming up soon there will be a central event to draw the group together, though. so keep an eye out for that.

I was actually really hoping that Valen would approach Faust with the chance to join Valen's men.

Faust, despite having calmed down in prison, still has a lot of pent up rage against Hylians and yearns for a juster world.
I think him and Valen will get along quite well.

Egalia's divination spell will reveal the location of the Hero of Time, although the fact that it is the Hero of Time will remain secret to all but Zelda/Sheik. She might simply go to a local tavern and try to form a 'search party' of sorts.

Members of the Royal Guard will likely be too busy for such an endeavor. Finding the Hero of Time will be a priority for them as well, but for much different reasons. Heh.

[b]Talon:[/b] Your last post confused me a wee bit. Is Raven aware that Zelda is disguised as Sheik?

Also: Can everyone start using posting avatars in their posts (if they aren't already?) It's much less of an issue when your post only contains your own character, but once large groups of them start interacting they help a great deal. Plus, they look nifty.

Just for a bit of explanation, my post is basically two journal entries.

The first was written at night, after Link returned to his cottage. And the second was written the following morning.

I am sure that I will write posts in the third person as well as the first person, but I wanted to introduce "Dark Link". Hopefully he is suitably dark.

I imagine that Link will continue to struggle with his dual personality, but hopefully the right side will win out in the end.

If there are any issues with the post, please let me know!

Omega, if you would, I'd like to write the meeting between Faust and Valen. To be honest, I didn't really think your portrayed Valen or his group accurately, by which I mean these guys are extremely secretive in how they operate and I don't think that came across in your post.

Valen can't just go around freeing every human prisoner in Hyrule's dungeons because it suits him to do so. To get Faust freed would've required a pardon be obtained, probably through bribery, and the guards guarding Faust would most certainly not have known that Valen was behind the pardon. It's all very "behind the scenes" stuff if you get me.[/SIZE]

Hopefully people get the duality of the conversation between Faust and Valen, though the latter does see him certainly as a potential ally in the future, he doesn?t trust him fully yet and so has to put on a more cordial face. The best example I can give is Liam Neeson?s Ducard/Ra?s Al Ghul from Batman Begins. Something of the character probably leaked into Valen as they are quite similar.[/SIZE]
