Akieen Cloud
Technology has failed mankind and turned on them, becoming man's worst enemy many people have decided that they were not going to follow the rules due to the oppression from the machines. They cheat the systems and fight the machines that now run the world foe humans. Escaping to the stars or underground to keep them selves from being found they began to realize that the machines could not find them there. They began to notice that the more they stayed away the less they were noticed when they went back to the surface. They than began to take what they needed becoming outlaws, having bounties put on them or more like their heads. They were becoming wanted, dead or alive. As their reputations got bigger so did their numbers. Rumor spread around that they could avoid the machines and their iron rule, rumors that there were some who were breaking the rules and fighting back, they became known as Pirates, as the ones in the old stories they were told as children. One of the groups as become well known and has made a name for them selves, their ship is known as the crew of the Black Swallow, a star ship that has become famous and the most wanted in most of the world. Quiet and lethal they strike the hardest and the most out of any other pirates that are known. Now they have been chosen to lead the rebels of the new age. How will they take this news and will they rise to the challenge or will they leave mankind stranded with out fighters to be enslaved by the machines that they them selves created. Lyuann looked out and sighed as the stars twinkled in the distance. She had been the captain of her father's old ship for a year now. She looked up as Zee walked over to her. "Do not worry young one, your father would be proud." "I hope your right Zee..." She turned the wheel and took them through a small atom cloud and smiled as it serperated easily and floated back together. "I just hope that there are others waiting for us when we get there..." "I'm sure they will have heard of the ship your father worked hard to name and will be looking to join you." She nodded and leaned on him as she did when looking for reinsurance, he was after all like another father to her. She looked out at the nearby stars again as the star port came into view. It was here that she hoped to find the crew that was going to help her bring down the machines that now ruled them. Landing at the dock she walked with Zee into the pub and sat down propping her feet on the table and drinking a few shots of whiskey waiting to see who would show up to join her crew.
Ol' Fighter
Up above, the sky was littered with scores of stars shining far away in the distance but below these stars there is a man desperatly searching for his younger sister. "Well, if isn't the traitor Trace, how dare you show your damn face around here, especially in my DAMN PUB", yelled a man who at first glance would seem human but upon further inspection you would see he had six arms. "Bru...what happened several months ago was not my doing and you know that all to well...", Trace said harshly while sitting down. "Just seeing if ya' still had some life in ya' friend, it's good to see ya' still do and sorry about your sister...she was-", the man was cut off by the sound of a collasping body only inches away from him. "My sister is still alive but you on the other hand won't be if you don't watch out for these back-stabbers...by the way were is she", laughed Trace putting away one of his throwing needles. The man looked at him, astonished at what he didn't see and amazed at what he did. "O-over there, the pretty young lass with the real man's drink", he said pointing to a woman with a drink in her hand. Trace approached the woman with a slight smile but solemn look upon his face as well. "The infamous captain of the Black Swallow, Lyuann, it's an honor to meet you and that goes double to you Zee I presume", Trace said sitting two arms length away from them. "The heir to Cusingnio Empire is here of all places...you here to join me", Lyuann said taking another shot of whiskey. "Please don't call me the heir of that damned place...I want nothing more than it's destruction and yes...I want to join you", Trace said with a small chuckle. "Hah, good, but we got a while before everyone shows so-", she was cut off by the pub owner sitting down on their table, several pitchers of whiskey. "Little lady, this is courtesy of Trace", he said laughing. Lyuann looked around to see where Trace had gone but it appeared as though he had vanished. "Well, atleast we know he has money", she said to Zee.
Inuyasha Fandom
"Eh," Zee threw his hands into the air."True enough. But does he have any skills to back up his money, or is all he can do is throw away his money?" Zee looked around, and grasped one of the pitchers. Taking it to his lips, he guzzled half of it. Setting it down, Lyuann shrugged in avid distaste. "Must be nice to be able to drink like an idiot and not BE an idiot afterwards." Lyuann remarked dryly. Zee only smiled, and belched loudly. "I know, isn't it?" "Keep acting like that and people might guess you aren't human." "Eh, the patrons of this bar are morons." Zee drank the rest of the pitcher, and belched again. "You are disgusting." Lyuann remarked. "But you love me anyway." Zee sat back in his chair. "Man.... This waiting sucks." Putting his hand over his eyes, he sighed. "So much is going on. It's wearing me out..." He sat back up, his goofy demeanor back. "I must be getting old." "You, old? Get real." "I'm old enough to be your great grandfather." "I know. And you look just SO good for your age, too." Zee laughed in response. Wild, raucious music began to play, and Zee lit up like a drag queen at Mardi Gras. "I have an idea." Lyuann smacked her forehead. "Oh dear god no......Please no...." "TOO LATE!" Zee yelled, laughing, and he kicked the side of the table, sending him rocking back. Using his momentum, he rolled back out of the chair, and into a handstand. Using his abilities, he kicked the pub's lights on, focusing them on him. He twirled on one hand, and flipped up onto the bar, the owner's jaw almost to the floor. The music made a dramatic shift to a classic german rock band. Zee began to dance, his motions of a sexual nature. He played the role good, his motions changing depending on the tone and pace of the music. He sang too, his voice provoking, or sweet and feminine, matching the voices in the song. As the song came to a close, he slowed his dance, and on the final note bowed. The pub lit up with applause, the owner being congradulated on hiring the performer. Zee hoped down, smiling. "You know Lyuann, you should get up there with me sometime." "Please. Spare me. You do that to distract me from my problems. And it works. Besides, you love a chance to perform." "Yeah, I know. But its fun, at least." Zee took another drink. "And it passes the time." "Learn that from the circus?" Lyuann quirked up, but her smile faded on seeing Zee's expression. In his mind, he was remembering the machines attacking the Circus, and wiping out all he held dear. "I'm sorry.... I didn't mean to make you remember..." Lyuann was beside herself with guilt, knowing it was a painful memory for Zee. "I did learn it from the circus. I remember the first time we met, little one. You were only three. Your father brought you to see me perform at the Scrapmetal Circus." Lyuann smiled fondly. "You were wearing half a clown mask.... and twirling and dancing on the tight rope." Lyuann frowned. "How sad its gone..." "Yeah, but you still have me. I'll give you a private performance anytime." "Thanks for the sentiment. I'll take you up on that. Sometime, anyway."
Drizzt Do'urden
Jaster watched the blustering group from other side of the pub. He knew that lady was the captain of the Black Swallow. The most feard and successful pirate ship...well in Jaster's eyes other than his father. Got to play this cool Jaster...just like you practiced As the three settled down Jaster approached Lyuann. Not even pausing from their drinking the woman acknowledged Jaster. "What do you want?" "Let me introduce myself I'm.." "Here drink this" The man Jaster heard was named Zee interupted as he handed him a shot of whiskey. Jaster took it looking confident. He had never tasted whiskey before but he was sure he could handle it. Bringing the shot glass to his lips he smelled the brown brew. Oh my god people actually drink this? Oh well I know what this "test" is. Jaster threw back the shot like he'd done it a million times before. "Oh my god that was awful" He couldn't believe he let that slip out as he felt his face contort. Zee frowned and looked at Jaster. "You're way to wet behind the ears for this crew son, why don't you go home to mommy and let her tell you a bedtime story and how good it was you tried." Lowering his head Jaster began to turn around when he had an idea...a risky one but an idea. "Lyuann I was sorry to hear about your father." As he expected the young woman flung herself out of her chain and pinned him down to a table...he didn't resist but he had the feeling she could've done it anyways. With her Colt under his chin Jaster couldn't hide the fear in his eyes. "You don't get to even mention my fathers name!" The anger pouring out of her. "You don't understand, our fathers knew each other....*cough cough* my father was Johnny 5 and I was hoping you'd help me find out how my father died...I know he worked with your father before..and could you please let me go." As she let him up the man they called Trace looked at him. "You can't be Johnny 5's son. Johnny was a mountain of a man, and you're just a skinny punk" Jaster withdrew his blade from his back to give the others a peek. "Well I'll be damned, this little man is telling the truth, that's sure as hell Desert Claw. There might be something too him after all Lyuann. Jaster waited patientally to find out if his lifeblood carried enough weight to become a real pirate.
Inuyasha Fandom
Zee smiled sweetly. "This might prove to be entertaining, at least." Zee beconed Jaster to take a seat. "I am Zee Ecks, A personal friend To both Lyuann and her Father. You do have some semblence to Johnny 5. I can buy the story." Zee kicked back another pitcher of whiskey. "How can you drink like that?" Jaster asked. Zee only smiled. Jaster's expression changed to one of curiousity. "And You look not much older than either me or her." He guestured to Lyuann. "Why?" Zee closed his eyes. "Machines don't age." "What, that's a full prosthetic body? How long have you had it? I've seen pictures of you taken sixteen years ago...." "Eh.... One could say that I've had this body for years. In fact, I've had this body for almost a century and a half." Zee leaned back. "We're up against a powerful enemy.... You sure you can handle it? You can barely hold your liquor....But then again, I proccess food and beverages much faster than a human can, So I'm not really one to judge. Lyuann will be the one to decide if you're good enough." Zee stood up, and smiled. "Anyway, Lyuann, I have to go get the supplies for the ship and get them in order for loading. Knowing the handlers here at the port, they'll probably break everything or spill something." Zee gave a jovial salute, one he did only for Lyuann, and walked out. He walked down the street, and headed to the port docking bay. He was packing his Magnum, but it was loaded with paint bullets. One real shot might pop a seam somewhere and then everyone would go straight to heaven. The real reason he had left was that he knew that someone was wanting to get him alone, under the misguided conception he was human. He knew that Lyuann was quite the target, and several people would have loved to get her out of the way, and would use him to get her. So, he was letting them think he was foolish enough to go by himself. What he wanted was to know who was after them this time. Zee purpously walked down a dark alley, if only to have a gun pointed to his head. "So. You're Zee Ecks..... " said a voice. "Yes. And who do I have the pleasure of doing buisness with?" Zee raised his hands into the air. His attitude was casual, he was completely unafraid. "Your reputation preceeds you. You really do have no fears of death. Ironic, isn't it, that the person about to kill you is the same?" "Who'd we piss off this time?" was Zee's only response. The figure makes no effort to say anything, only cocks his gun. "Any last words?" "Yeah. Pick your targets more wisely." Zee lashes out, and grabs the person by the throat. He reconizes the person. "Well, if it isn't the poor shmuck I kicked the shit out of at the last port. As if once wasn't enough...." Zee throws the guy into a wall, and dusts off his hands. "And to think trash isn't picked up for another two days...." Zee walked back off, dissmissing the man as no threat, only a guy with a grudge. Zee sighed. "And I thought it might have been a problem...."
Takuuya
“Hey Fritz can you take this plate to table 7 and these bowls to the bar please?” “Crrzzztz” Fritz monitor displayed a pixilated smile as he took the orders from Demi then he walked out the kitchen. “Demi” Shouted the owner, “Hurry up with that Curry lad, I don’t pay slackers” “Ha” Demi laughed and yelled back, “Even with your six arms I still can cook circles around you Brutis, And we’d be better off without those lazy waiters you pick off the street” Demi groaned chopping up a mix of herbs and spices then he abandoned that task to pick up a plate walking out the kitchen door. “Who ordered the curry? Hey get your grimy hands off him!” three burly men were prodding and shoving Fritz around a little ways in front of the bar. “Where’d you get this heap of junk Brutis” Said the shortest one “We could fetch a good penny for this scrap metal” “You unhand him now” Demi stood furious with the curry still in his hand. “How bout you make me twer- Ow!” Demi had kicked a chair at the man who had Fritz then he chucked the curry in the face of the shortest one who screamed in pain. “That was my hottest dish” Demi laughed, then caught the last guy reaching for his gun but Demi was too fast. “Argh! You little brat… What the hell is this” He clutched his stained hand blowing on it. “Rubber bullets that melt on contact from being fired from my gun. You better get gone now, or I’ll use live ammunition next time.” Demi eyed them dangerously, his hand hovering over his other gun at his side. “You heard him” Said Brutis cracking his knuckles all 24 of them. The man standing helped his buddies up and they all scampered out the bar. “Brutis I can not take this anymore” Demi said tending to Fritz “Why didn’t stand up for your self? You’re no ones toy Fritz” Fritz made a beeping sound and made a frown hanging his monitor… head low. Demi turned and looked up at Brutis. “I quit” He said firmly. “What?! Anther I saved you from the streets? Fine, be on your way than. I can hire someone for half the pay and more the skill. You ungrateful twerp.” “Yeah, good luck with that.” Demi turned to Fritz. “C’mon lets go get our things”
Inuyasha Fandom
Zee had made his way back to the pub, and had watched the entire episode. Coming over to the two, the boy and the machine, he knelt beside the two. He reached to touch the kid's shoulder. "My name is Zee. I'm sorry, but I had figured you could have handled it." "It's fine," said the boy, brushing Zee's hand away. "We're used to people treating us like garbage." "And I'm not one of those people." Zee reached out to touch the small machine. Zee's eyes began to glow an eerie green, and data files began to scroll in them. Blueprints, schimatics, all kinds of things exept memories. Zee was careful to avoid looking at those. "My, this little one has had a tough time....His CPU is having trouble maintaining his motor functions, and it's not a matter involving how he was built. I guess those pricks really roughed him up." Zee moved the little robot around, looking at it. "His left front balance jack is loose and the side motor under his 'arm' shall we say, is jammed. I assume you built him?" Zee reached around and worked on the machine. In a few seconds, the machine was standing and 'smiling', like the day he was built. "There we go..." The kid was slack jawed. "Yeah.... How'd you know all of that stuff?" Zee smiled. "I'll say this much.... This little guy, -Fritz, you called him?- me and him have more in common than you think. I was built, much like he was. If you want to know how a machine works, then ask one." Zee patted the little guy's monitor. "He's a cutie." Zee gave the little machine a kiss on the side, and it quirked up and knew it would be blushing, if it could. It gave Zee a hug, buzzing and beeping and whiring. "Your welcome." Zee told it. The realization came to the boy. "You...you're a machine too!" "Bingo. Not so loud, please. I don't need anymore trouble than I'm really worth. And I was kind of an accident.... And as for Fritz, his repairs are only temporary. you're going to have to find replacement parts, my patchwork won't hold for long." The boy held out his hand. "I'm Demi." Zee shook his hand. "It's my pleasure. Come on, I have someone I'd like you to meet." "Hey..." Demi tugged on Zee's jacket. "Can I ask you what model you are?" "I'm one of the final ZX types ever built." On seeing Demi's expression, Zee cocked his head. "What?!" "The ZX types stopped production almost a hundred and twenty years ago. I thought most of them had been destroyed or ceased functioning..." "And indeed they have. I simply know how to maintence myself." "Um... can I take a peek under the hood? I always wanted to check out one of you ZX types. I thought all of you had gone offline... I though I never would get the chance. I'm talking to a piece of history!" Zee laughed." A peek under the hood, huh? Honestly, I think my mechanics and structure might be just in your range of intelligence. It might be kind of interesting to see if you could help me lift my combat limiter. But, not untill we get at least to the Swallow. But, I also like to keep my secrets to myself." Zee smiled. "SWEET!!!!!!" Zee could only laugh at Demi's enthusiasm. Ol' Fighter
( Stuck in a hole here... ) Trace looked at boy claiming to be the kin of Johnny 5 with a sad look in his eyes. "So...that kid too has been hurt by my damn father's empire as well...I should of destroyed that place when I had a chance taking everything with me strait to hell. My damned father cares of nothing but money and advancement always saying that, "It's only natural that the weak should work for the strong",...I'll kill him myself soon enough along with that woman who claims to be my mother", he said to himself. He sat up from his chair and walked over to Brutis who was secretly cursing himself because of Demi. "You realized that kid was Johnny's didn't you Bru", Trace said calmly flicking a needle threw the air. "I can see it from miles away Trace...just hope the kid is going to be alright", Brutis replied with all his hands the table before him. "Hm, don't worry I'll watch the kid and keep him out of harms way, just don't start crying on me old timer", Trace said laughing a little. "Besides he has Johnny's blood, I'm sure he can hold his own". Trace said looking a Jaster with a small smirk.
Akieen Cloud
Lyu stood and stretched her arms above her head and yawned. "Well I purpose we get back to the ship. Besides Zee, we have to get back so we can take care of Gado." "By take care you mean get rid of him right?" "No, I mean take him clean clothes, food and water. You know that. I'll not kill him Zee." "Why?" "Cause I think he can help us that's why. Well come on boys lets go, kid your coming with us too. We could use a good cook and your buddy can come along too. I have nothing against the robots like him. She gave him a quick wink and lead them out to the dock where they filed onto the ship, Lyu looked at Zee and smiled. "Get us out of here Zee, we're taking off." He nodded and began to get the ship ready to take off. She went to the galley and grabbed and few things of food and a floggen of ale and than went to the store room and grabbed a few pieces of clothes, she felt the usual jerk as the artificial gravity took its hold on the ship and smiled as Zee began to fly them through the solar system to the little black moon between Saturn and Jupiter, it was undiscovered so no one knew about it. She walked out and down to the brig where a large man was sitting against the wall cracking his knuckles. "What can I do for you woman?" "Here, clean clothes, food and ale. Thought you might be hungry." "Your cutious to your captives? That's new." "Not really, I've been like this since we first caught you on my father's ship. I'm hard, no heartless; if it were Zee's choice, you'd be dead." He looked at her and than looked away. "Come on, don't be like that. Join my crew I promise I'm a good captain." She blinked as he grabbed what she had brought him and turned his back on her yet again. "Please? I'll take care of you, I mean it." She leaned against the bars of the brig waiting for him to give her an answer.
Deadpool
Gado snickered as he stood up and approached the bars. Lyu immediatly backed away since the last time he apprached anybody he left them dead on the floor with their throat crushed. He grabbed the bars as a guard immediatly pulled out his gun and leveled it at his head. "I can't join your crew and you know why" Lyu tilted her head. "I actually dont know" Gado nodded his head behind her where Zee had walked down. "Ask him he knows" Lyu turned around. "Zee something you need to tell me about why he can't join our crew" Zee dropped his head. "Damn. Well" "Tell me Zee!" She started tapping her foot impatiantly. Zee shugged. "He is directly linked to enemy due to the chip installed at the back of his eye. He is controlled by them." Lyu looked back to Gado then back to Zee who went to continue on. "So as you can see he cant..." Lyu cut him off with her reply. "So remove it" Zee's eyes weny wide. "What?" Lyu looked at him and crossed her arms. "Remove the chip"
Drizzt Do'urden
This was the first time Jaster had ever been on a real pirate sihp. He tried to hide the fact that he was as giddy as a child, but it was no use. He ran to the observation deck and watched the stars fly by. "You better watch out kid, press your face against that glass any harder and you're lible to go right through it." Trace's voice surprised him and made him jump. "I can't help it, I finally made it on a real pirate ship....though.." Jaster tried his best to choke back the tears at the thought of being on someone else's ship and not his father's. "I made a promise to myself when I first heard about Lyu. I promised I'd get on her crew, and then I'd find the bastard and run him through." Jaster drew his father's sword and stared at the glowing red blade. Jaster could see a small smile cross Trace's face. "Well, I hope you do kid." He turned around and started walking away. "Hey Trace...have you ever heard anything about my father's death? I mean, I've heard rumors, but never anything real." Trace stopped but did not turn around, Jaster hoped he'd know something. But if not, there were plenty of other people that might.
Takuuya
Demi followed Lyu’s directions to the kitchen. As He and Fritz entered that shiny paradise Fritz made a high pitch whistling sound. “Yeah buddy I like it too.. not a grim stain anywhere to be found. Well lets get started Fritz we gotta earn our spots here.” They both set out to hunt for ingredients which they found and in less than a hour later the kitchen was filled with exotic smells. ooc i messed up badly. sorry for the short post... wont happen again
Ol' Fighter
As Trace stood there he felt a pain he had long since forgotten deep in his chest. "Your father...I was just another sell-sword at the time along with my little sister when I met him....", Trace said from over his shoulder. "So you met my father...", Jaster said a little excited. "Fought more like it, he told me that I was endagering my little sister and we had a bit of a skirmish which I lost with flying colors...I tell ya' your dad has a special brand of power", Trace replied with a chuckle. "But tell me...do you know if he's still alive or...", Jaster stopped as Trace placed a hand on his shoulder. "Kid...he's still alive I believe...no I want to belive it because wherever he is my little sisters with him.
Drizzt Do'urden
Jaster almost fell to the floor, he'd been certain so long that his father had been dead. The simple notion of him being alive was almost more than he could bear. "I...I have to find him Trace" Jaster was almost in tears, a small smile crossed trace's lips. Looking into his eyes Jaster knew he felt the same way about his sister. "I've been looking for my sister for sometime now. And if I didn't believe that I'd find her. Truly believe I'd find her, I'd have given up long ago. But running into you sort've seems like fate, I'm certain we'll find them." Jaster felt like a young kid, the surge of emotions he felt was more than he could take. "Thanks Trace, hey one more question. Do you think you could teach me how to use this sword. When I find my father, I want to show him I've grown up." Trace smiled and turned to walk away. "I'm sure with this crew you'll have plenty of opportunities to usei t, but meet me in the training room on the 2nd deck first thing tomorow, if we have time I'll teach you something"
